Welcome to Life Points with Rhonda, where we talk about the real stuff relationships, self-growth, healing and everything in between. I'm your host, rhonda, and today we're tapping into the bold and empowering energy of the full buck moon. This is the moon of regrowth, realignment and rising into your strength. If you've been feeling like something's got to shift, this episode is your sign. What is the full buck moon. Every full moon carries its own personality, its own energy and its own lessons. But the full buck moon is different. It doesn't just glow, it growls. It signals power, progress and, most of all, potential.

Speaker 1:

Occurring each July, this moon gets its name from the time of year when male deer or bucks begin to regrow their antlers after shedding them in the spring. That image alone is powerful Horns rising from the head like a crown, not for decoration, but for defense, for identity, for survival. So what does that mean for you? It means this moon is about restoring your strength, especially after a season when you might have felt stripped bare. Maybe life has challenged you, maybe your confidence took a hit, maybe you've been walking around Spiritually bald, vulnerable, unsure of who you are. Now the buck moon says Stand up, reclaim your stance. Vulnerable, unsure of who you are. Now the buck moon says stand up, reclaim your stance, let yourself grow back sharper, wiser and stronger than ever before.

Speaker 1:

There's also a practical layer to this moon. In the sky, this full moon usually falls in Capricorn or Aquarius, depending on the year. When it's in Capricorn, it urges us to look at where we need structure, self-discipline and responsibility. Are your goals aligned with your values? Are your relationships helping or hindering your growth? Capricorn asks you to build a solid foundation, brick by brick, and if it lands in Aquarius, the vibe shifts to revolution, freedom and community consciousness. Aquarius wants you to dream big, step outside the box and contribute something meaningful to the world. But no matter the sign, one thing remains true the Buck Moon is about growth after loss. It's about choosing not to stay small just because life once forced you to shrink.

Speaker 1:

Spiritually, this moon touches deep emotional layers. It's not just about powering through. It's about aligning your power with your purpose. It asks what have I been holding on to that no longer belongs to me? What parts of myself am I ready to restore? What do I need in order to move forward on my terms?

Speaker 1:

When the buck moon rises, you may feel a surge of clarity, even discomfort, that's normal. Growth always brings friction, but friction is also what sharpens the blade. So don't be surprised if this moon stirs your spirit. That's the medicine. Let it remind you that you too are in a cycle of shedding and regrowth, and there is nothing soft about that. This moon is not here to comfort you. It's here to challenge you, to remember your power, the energy of shedding and strength. There's a sacred moment in nature when something that once served you begins to fall away, not because it was bad, but because it's no longer needed. That's what this moon teaches us. Like the buck who sheds his antlers to make room for stronger ones, you too are being called to release what's outlived its season. Let's talk about what that really means.

Speaker 1:

Shedding isn't glamorous. It's not always peaceful. Sometimes it's raw, messy and uncomfortable. Sometimes it looks like you crying on the floor because a version of you that once kept you safe no longer fits. Sometimes it's breaking generational patterns with trembling hands. Sometimes it's walking away from something you prayed for because your spirit evolved beyond it. But here's the truth you cannot carry what's meant for the next version of you while dragging the weight of who you used to be.

Speaker 1:

This full-buck moon is calling you into alignment, into responsibility for your own soul, into truth, and not just the truth you tell other people, but the one you've been avoiding in the mirror. This moon asks you what burdens am I still carrying that were never mine? What outdated identities am I still performing to stay accepted? Where have I outgrown the room, the role, the routine? There's a kind of strength that comes from knowing your worth without waiting for others to confirm it, from releasing something not because you don't love it but because you love yourself more.

Speaker 1:

The Buck Moon isn't about the hustle. It's about the honest work of letting go, of standing tall after a season that tried to make you small, of understanding that when something falls away it's not always a loss, it's a spiritual renovation. So I want you to ask yourself what are you ready to shed, not just intellectually, but spiritually, not just talk about but walk away from and remember. This process doesn't make you weak, it makes you wild, it makes you wise, it makes you free, ancestral healing and self-worth activation. There are some weights you can't see in the mirror, but you feel them In your chest, in your tired decisions, in the way you apologize for taking up space or shrink your truth to keep the peace. These are not just personal habits. These are inherited patterns, spiritual muscle memory passed down through bloodlines.

Speaker 1:

The full buck moon touches these invisible wounds, the ones too many of us carry silently. And if you've ever felt like you're doing everything right but still feel stuck, you're not alone. You're likely moving through something bigger than you, something ancestral. Let's call it what it is Generational survival. You might not have grown up in literal chains, but many of us still move as if we're bound, bound by expectations, by silence, by cycles of proving, performing and people-pleasing, bound by shame that wasn't born in us but lives in our family story. That shame says don't be too loud, don't take too long, don't dream too big, don't rest until it hurts. But under the full buck moon, the ancestors lean in, not to scold you but to liberate you, because strength isn't just what you survived. Strength is what you choose to stop passing down. Let me say that again Strength is what you choose to stop passing down.

Speaker 1:

This moon is sacred, not because it's soft, but because it's honest. It demands truth. It says what do you really want to release? What fear has overstayed its welcome? What lie have you inherited that you're finally ready to unlearn? For some of us, that lie is I have to struggle to be valuable. I can't say no or I'll lose love. My worth is tied to how much I do for others. But your ancestors didn't cross oceans, endure loss, survive bondage or carry faith through fire, so you could just barely get by. They endured so you could remember your birthright. That birthright is wholeness, wealth, not just financial, but emotional and spiritual wellness, joy, a voice that doesn't tremble, a body that isn't constantly braced for impact, a heart that is free to love without betrayal. A life that feels like yours. And let's be clear, this isn't about disrespecting your lineage, it's about elevating it, because when you heal, your ancestors rise with you. When you claim your worth, you shift timelines. When you break patterns, you become the answered prayer they whispered through generations.

Speaker 1:

So, under this moon, make space for a personal reckoning. Where am I living out trauma, responses and calling them personality traits? Who am I without the struggle? What becomes possible when I lead with worthiness instead of fear? You are not here to survive in silence. You are here to remember you were always enough, even when the world tried to convince you were always enough, even when the world tried to convince you otherwise. Let this be the moment you start treating yourself like someone sacred. Let this be when you say I love me and I don't need anyone's permission to grow into that love fully.

Speaker 1:

This moon, it's a return to origin, but it's also a rebirth, one where the story ends with freedom and when the old voices rise up again, because they will whisper back. That doesn't belong to me. I lay it down with love. I rise with truth. This isn't just a lunar moment, it's a soul uprising and you, beloved, are the revolution. Your ancestors were waiting for Full moon rituals for realignment.

Speaker 1:

The full buck moon isn't just for reflection, it's for ritual. This is a moment to pause, reset and realign with the version of you that's growing behind the scenes, because growth isn't just about what you say, it's about what you do with intention, and during a full moon, intention becomes amplified. So, if you're ready to step into your strength, here are four deeply nourishing rituals that speak to your spirit, your lineage and your future. One the antler release ritual. This ritual is for letting go of what's heavy, what's expired and what's no longer aligned with who you're becoming. You'll need a sheet of paper, a fire-safe dish, a candle or lighter, what to do. Write down everything you are ready to release Behaviors, beliefs, identities, obligations that don't feel true anymore. As you write, breathe deeply and honor the emotions that rise. When you're ready, speak this aloud I honor what was, but I no longer carry what's not mine. I release with love and I grow with grace. Then burn the paper safely as the smoke rises. Visualize your spirit getting lighter, your energetic antlers regenerating.

Speaker 1:

Two Buck Moon Cleansing bath. This is for washing away spiritual residue, doubt or emotional debris. You'll need Epsom salt or sea salt, dried rosemary, hyssop or mint, a splash of Florida water or fresh lemon juice. Optional seven drops of frankincense or lavender oil. What to do? As the bath fills, stir it clockwise and speak life into the water. I release confusion. I call back my clarity. Soak under the moonlight or imagine her energy above you and envision anything stagnant melting off your body. You are not scrubbing to get clean, you are soaking to remember who you are.

Speaker 1:

Three mirror affirmation ritual. I am my own permission. Sometimes the ritual is reclaiming your own gaze. You'll need just a mirror and your voice. What to do? Stand in front of your mirror, look deep into your eyes, breathe Now say I see you, I honor your journey, you are not too much, you are not behind, you are divine, you are whole and you are allowed to grow beyond anyone's comfort, including your own. Repeat until your voice no longer shakes. Then smile, not because everything is perfect, but because you're real and present and claiming yourself in full.

Speaker 1:

Fourth ancestor light and gratitude offering. This ritual calls in your lineage for support and wisdom. You'll need a white candle, a glass of water, a plate with fruit, bread or something sweet, optional, a printed or handwritten note that says it ends with me. It begins with me. What to do? Set your altar or offering space, light the candle and pour the water slowly, saying to those who walk before me with love I thank you. I carry your courage, but I release your pain. Guide me as I honor you, not through suffering, but through joy, through freedom and through peace. Let the candle burn safely for a while and leave the offering overnight. Dispose of it respectfully the next day.

Speaker 1:

These rituals are more than practices. They are declarations. You are telling your spirit I am no longer surviving, I am aligning. I am becoming who I was always meant to be. You don't need perfection, you need presence, you need permission, and both are already inside you.

Speaker 1:

Relationship check in under the buck moon. Don't confuse connection with alignment. The buck moon doesn't ask if you love them. It asks if loving them still honors the truth of who you're becoming. You're becoming the full buck. Moon doesn't play with illusions, it pierces them. It shows you what you've been avoiding, denying or settling for, and it brings it all to the surface. That includes your relationships, whether romantic, platonic or familial. And I want you to hear me clearly this moon isn't trying to take anything from you. It's trying to show you what you've outgrown so you can either rise together or part with peace.

Speaker 1:

Let's slow this down. A lot of people get anxious during full moons. It's not just the energy, it's what's being revealed. Things start to feel unsettled, conversations feel more urgent. Distance becomes more obvious. Conversations feel more urgent. Distance becomes more obvious. It's not your imagination, it's the energy. The buck moon in particular, carries the frequency of growth after loss, which means anything or anyone that's been stunting your spiritual progress may now feel heavy, hard to ignore or even irritating. This is not to create fear. It's to create awareness, because when you start to grow spiritually, emotionally, energetically, you begin to see the difference between what's nurturing your future and what's just tied to your past.

Speaker 1:

Start with the relationship you have with yourself. Before we even talk about them, let's talk about you. Are you dating, loving or staying loyal to others at the expense of your relationship with yourself? Because the truth is, you teach people how to love you by how consistently you honor your own needs. That means, do you respect your own emotional boundaries or do you make excuses for being mistreated? Do you nourish your body, mind and spirit first? Or do you keep saying I'm fineish your body, mind and spirit first? Or do you keep saying I'm fine when you're really exhausted and resentful? Do you check in with your own intuition before compromising for others? The Buck Moon says come home to you first, because if you're emotionally homeless within yourself, you'll keep trying to find shelter in others, especially those who feel familiar to your old wounds.

Speaker 1:

Here's the spiritual truth. Sometimes the person who needs to leave your relationship most is the version of you who keeps allowing what hurts you. So ask yourself what version of me has been leading this relationship and is it time to let her rest? If you're currently in a relationship, let's talk evolution. Now let's talk about your partner.

Speaker 1:

This moon does not care how long you've been together. It's not concerned with how much you've invested or what they used to be. It cares about one thing Is this love helping you grow into your highest self or helping you stay small for the sake of keeping the peace? That's the question. You might feel this shift in subtle ways. Your conversations feel more surface level and you crave depth. You hesitate to share your spiritual growth because you're not sure they'll understand. You've started tiptoeing around the truth just to avoid another argument, and for some of you it's even deeper than that. You've stayed because you feel guilty, because you've already given so much, because you don't want to start over. But the buck moon is here to remind you. Your spirit didn't come here to settle. It came here to evolve.

Speaker 1:

If your relationship isn't adapting to who you're becoming, then it's suffocating the space your destiny is trying to grow into. That doesn't always mean it's time to walk away, but it does mean it's time to get honest, sit down and ask what do we actually need to heal? What roles are we stuck playing? And are we willing to grow through the discomfort together? Because love isn't always pretty, but it should always be safe. And when it's no longer safe to be your full self, but it should always be safe. And when it's no longer safe to be your full self, that's not love, that's emotional arrest.

Speaker 1:

If you're single, or healing, this is your season of sacred standards. Being single during the buck moon is a powerful place to be, because you're not just choosing who to love, you're choosing what kind of love you'll never accept again. This is a time for cleansing your heart space, releasing the soul ties that still linger through text threads, voice notes or daydreams that keep looping in your mind. You know the ones, the what-ifs, the unspoken goodbyes. The person you still spiritually check in on, even though you're physically done, let it go, because every time you entertain what already proved itself to be misaligned, you delay the arrival of the person who's been aligned with your healed self, not your hurting one, and I say this with love.

Speaker 1:

Your next relationship should not require you to become someone else to be loved. Use this moon to raise your standards, not just in romance but in energy. Stop chasing people who only call you when they're bored. Stop confusing emotional drama with passion. Stop calling yourself too much when in truth they just weren't enough. Say it with me I will not abandon myself just to be chosen. This buck moon, it's for the healed version of you to step forward and demand that your next love speak the language of consistency, emotional safety, spiritual depth and mutual growth.

Speaker 1:

If you're in a gray area relationship, the time for clarity is now. Some of you are in the in-between. You're not together but you're not apart. It's undefined, it's unclear and it's emotionally exhausting. The Buckmoon energy has no patience for situationships that leave you questioning your worth. Confusion is not love, silence is not safety and breadcrumbs are not a meal. You deserve a relationship that shows up in the light, not one that hides in the shadows of convenience.

Speaker 1:

This moon is a spiritual invitation to choose clarity over fantasy. To say this limbo is draining me. My heart deserves full love, not part-time effort. I refuse to be a placeholder while you make up your mind, because what you entertain up your mind, because what you entertain becomes your energetic norm and you are too sacred to stay somewhere that's indecisive about you. Journal prompts and affirmations for relationship Realignment Write these out. Reflect with intention, not shrinks me. I will no longer accept survival-based connections. When my soul craves divine partnership, I release all forms of love that require me to betray myself. This isn't about perfection, sis. This is about presence. This is about finally listening to the quiet voice inside that says you deserve more and it's not too late to shift, reset or choose again. In fact, the full buck moon says it's right on time. So if no one's told you lately, you're allowed to change your mind. You're allowed to raise your standards, you're allowed to choose peace over patterns and you're allowed to make space for the love you prayed for, even if it means walking away from the one you settled for.

Speaker 1:

Finances, purpose and grounded ambition Under the Buck Moon. Money is not just about numbers. It's about nervous systems, narratives and the story you tell yourself about what you're worth. The full Buck Moon isn't just about emotional or spiritual growth. It's also a mirror reflecting your relationship with structure, purpose and financial alignment. Because, yes, spiritual wellness is beautiful, but if your bills are late, your purpose feels scattered and your energy is drained from emotional labor that never fills you back up. That's not alignment, that's burnout dressed in devotion. This moon brings clarity, and clarity is currency. Let's start here what are you building and is it sustainable? Because the buck moon, especially when it touches Capricorn or Aquarius energy demands a check-in around how you're working, not just what you're working toward.

Speaker 1:

First, let's talk about your relationship with money. You weren't born with money shame, you were taught it. You were taught to survive instead of thrive. You were taught to feel guilty for wanting more, especially if you came from a background where just enough was the norm. But you know what the buck moon asks. What would your life look like if you let go of the belief that struggle is a rite of passage. What if budgeting wasn't a punishment but an act of spiritual maturity? What if money became a partner, not a predator?

Speaker 1:

Money is emotional, it's energetic, it's ancestral and for many of us, we are breaking generational curses with every dollar we choose to save, invest, tithe or spend with intention. Ask yourself do I spend money to soothe my stress or support my future? Do I avoid looking at my account because I fear what it reflects? Do I believe there's enough for me, or am I still waiting for the other shoe to drop? The buck moon doesn't want you to hustle harder. It wants you to build wiser. This is your moment to stop asking can I afford it? And start asking is this aligned with the life I'm creating?

Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about purpose realignment versus reinvention. Purpose is one of the most misused words in the personal development space. People talk about it like it's a career or a platform. But your purpose isn't just what you do. It's how you move, how you love, how you serve and how you rise when life tries to knock you down. Your purpose doesn't have to be flashy. It has to be true.

Speaker 1:

Some of you have been trying to reinvent yourself every time life shifts. But the Buck Moon says you don't need to reinvent. You need to remember. What did your childhood self love to do before the world told you it didn't make money? What problems are you passionate about solving, even if no one pays you for it yet? What does your life naturally pull people toward? Healing, laughter, clarity, creativity. Your purpose might be loud or it might be quiet, but it will always be honest. And if you're confused, here's the truth the Buck Moon reminds us of you won't find your purpose in performance. You'll find it in presence. Stop chasing trends, stop mimicking what worked for someone else. Come home to the thing that keeps you up at night with fire in your chest. That's the map. That's the message, the foundation. What are you building?

Speaker 1:

This moon isn't just dreamy, it's disciplined. It doesn't want you out here manifesting without a blueprint. It wants to know Where's your structure? What's your plan? Are your daily habits aligned with the future you say you want? Let's be real. Faith without focus is just fantasy. If your goals don't have legs, they're just vision boards. If your purpose doesn't have structure, it becomes a cycle of burnout. And if your budget doesn't reflect your priorities, your peace will always feel fragile.

Speaker 1:

This is the perfect time to sit down and ask what are my financial non-negotiables this season? What am I building toward over the next six months and how am I preparing for it today? What am I doing out of habit that's draining me financially or spiritually? You don't need to do more. You need to do what matters more consistently the Buck Moon Rewards structure, not stress, guided reflection and journal prompts. Grab your journal or sit with these out loud.

Speaker 1:

Let the answers come with honesty. Where in my life am I mistaking movement for progress? What does wealth mean to me beyond money, and how am I cultivating it? If I trusted my purpose was safe in my hands, what decision would I make right now? How can I honor the lessons my ancestors taught about survival while building a legacy rooted in joy and overflow, affirmations for grounded ambition and financial healing Speak these under the moonlight. Repeat until they feel like memory. My finances are a reflection of my boundaries, my focus and my worth. I build with clarity. I invest with trust. I receive with ease. I am not here to struggle. I am here to steward. My purpose makes room for me and I walk in it with humility and power. I honor my ancestors by creating a life of overflow, not just survival.

Speaker 1:

This moon doesn't want you to prove your value. It wants you to embody it, whether you're revising your business plan, paying off a bill, saying no to underpaid work or simply believing you deserve to earn with integrity. This is sacred work, this is legacy work, and you're not doing it alone. You're doing it with all the prayers that came before you and all the future blessings you're clearing the path for. So take your time, get honest and remember the buck moon isn't pushing you to do more. It's reminding you to build what lasts.

Speaker 1:

Moon messages and oracle reflection the moon is always watching, not judging, not rushing, just reflecting, just reminding you you are becoming, even on the days you feel broken. Every full moon has something to say, and this one, the buck moon. She doesn't whisper, she commands, not through fear, but through the sacred stillness of your own becoming. The messages she brings are not for the faint-hearted. They're for the soul that's been silently growing even when no one saw, even when you weren't sure you'd make it this far. So I want you to pause right now, take a breath and receive these moon messages channeled from the spirit of this sacred lunar cycle.

Speaker 1:

Message one you are not behind, you are becoming. There's a divine intelligence in your delays. Everything that felt like detour was actually divine redirection. Stop measuring your growth by other people's timelines. Your path is not supposed to look like theirs. You're on ancestral time, sacred time, spirit time, and nothing that is meant for you will pass you by if your spirit remains aligned. This is your permission to stop rushing. This is your invitation to trust the tempo of your becoming.

Speaker 1:

Message two what you're releasing isn't failure, it's fertilizer, the things you've walked away from relationships, habits, jobs, versions of yourself. They weren't losses, they were compost, and now your roots have room to breathe, to spread, to stretch toward the life that's been waiting for your alignment. Let yourself grieve, yes, but also let yourself celebrate, because the very things that once broke your heart are now becoming the soil. Your new self will rise from. Message three Stop trying to heal what you need to walk away from. Not everything is meant to be fixed. Not every connection needs closure. Some ties were meant to end without a grand finale, because your peace is not up for negotiation. And every time you re-engage what drained you, you tell your spirit I don't trust you. Yet this moon says it's time to trust, to choose quiet over chaos, to choose you Without guilt, without apology, without explanation.

Speaker 1:

Message four your softness is not a liability. In a world that rewards hardness, numbness and detachment, your tenderness is revolutionary. Don't let past pain turn you into someone you're not. Let your boundaries be firm, yes, but let your heart stay open, because the divine doesn't only move through power, she moves through presence, and softness is your birthright. You don't have to harden to protect yourself anymore. You get to be safe and soft at the same time.

Speaker 1:

Message five your ancestors did not just suffer. They dreamt, and you are the answer to one of those dreams. They didn't just pray for survival. They prayed for laughter, for land, for love that didn't hurt, for sleep without fear, for joy that didn't come with consequence, for legacy beyond trauma. And you're the proof that they didn't suffer in vain. So take up space, live well, eat well, rest fully, laugh loudly, dress up for no reason, say yes to pleasure. You are the return not just of their power, but of their peace.

Speaker 1:

Moonspread, a three-card reflection you can do tonight If you pull tarot or oracle cards. Try this spread under the moonlight, or simply ask yourself these questions in your journal One what am I being called to? Release with gratitude? This card will show you the expired energy, mindset or soul tie that's ready to be returned to source. Two what strength is quietly growing in me? This is the reminder that, even if no one sees it yet, you are evolving in ways that matter. Three what divine support or unseen blessing is trying to reach me now? This final card brings comfort, reassurance and alignment with your next season. Closing prayer.

Speaker 1:

Moon of strength, buck of growth, spirit of grace, guide me into alignment with all that is mine. May I release what is not my weight. May I rise with dignity. May my healing ripple forward seven generations. May I honor the divine through how I care for myself, how I love others and how I trust the timing of my life. Ace, amen. And so it is Final reflection and call to action. The moon will rise whether you're ready or not, but the question is will you rise with her?

Speaker 1:

You've made it to the end of this journey through the Buck Moon Portal, but this isn't really the end. It's the activation. This moon came to remind you of what's still inside you the clarity you forgot, the strength you buried, the boundaries you watered down, the dreams you paused out of fear and now beloved. It's time to come back to all of it. This is your moment to reclaim your softness as power, your rest as a sacred birthright, your voice as medicine, your boundaries as divine alignment, your growth as inevitable. Let the rituals be your re-entry, let your journal be your altar. Let your decisions this month speak for your worth louder than your words ever could.

Speaker 1:

And as you go into the rest of this lunar cycle, ask yourself this one question what does it look like to be deeply loyal to the version of me I'm becoming? Answer it in your prayers, in your actions, in your relationships, in your bank account, in your mirror. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be present. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to take one step in alignment and then another. And if you need help, you don't have to do this alone.
