Have you ever wondered how faith shapes the journey of your life? My recent marriage and another trip around the sun have brought such questions to the forefront of my mind. Together on Inside Beauty Inspires, we'll explore the impact of scripture in our everyday lives, celebrating the beauty of new chapters and spiritual growth. I'll share how the powerful verse from Matthew 6:33 has become a cornerstone of my faith, and how it can illuminate your path too. We dive into heartfelt discussions about the importance of daily affirmations and the unwavering support from our ISI community, showcasing the divine choreography in life's events.

Life's callings come with their own set of challenges and milestones. As we navigate through them, I open up about the profound spiritual implications of having children out of wedlock, and how embracing a childlike faith can lead us to our divine purpose. Just like Jeremiah was chosen, we too are selected for extraordinary destinies. I'll offer personal insights and biblical references that affirm when God calls, He truly provides. This segment is a gentle reminder to seek solace and direction in God's voice, ensuring that our trust in Him will never lead to disappointment.

Wrapping up our spiritual expedition, we'll reflect on the lives of Abraham, Sarah, and Moses, drawing inspiration from their unwavering faith in a heavenly promise. I'll also touch on the meticulous process of silver mining as a metaphor for the diligent study of scripture. My husband, Edward Harrison, joins us in spirit as we affirm the transformative power of listening for God's guidance, encouraging you to embark on your own pursuit of wisdom and understanding. Join us as we navigate these tales of faith and the eternal search for divine enlightenment.

Speaker 1:

New, new, new, everything new, new, new, new, new, everything new. I'm ready to go, ready for more, I'm ready for new, like a straight out of the storm.

Speaker 2:

Hello, hello, hello. It is your girl, stephanie O'Harrison, and you are now listening into Inside Beauty Inspires. We encourage, motivate and inspire through the word of God. So listen, I have been gone for a minute but I am back. It is 2024, and we will soar.

Speaker 2:

So many things that have taken place in my life and I'm so excited to have you guys to be a part of this journey. First and foremost, I am a married woman now. Yes, I am married. Edward Harrison is my husband. He was actually going to come in here today, but he had other obligations. So it's okay, you guys will be hearing from him pretty soon, but we're going to get into this word. But before we get into this word, I just want to talk to you guys about some of the things that the Lord has been talking to me about. Number one I want you to understand that it's such an important piece of the puzzle to get into the word. You know I've always talked to you, ladies and gentlemen, about getting in your word, and it's a very, very imperative that you do.

Speaker 2:

A lot of times, we don't know how to navigate in this world and we do things that we see others do or we go off of what our parents taught us to do, but what we're missing, the key ingredient, is the word of God. Why do I say that? Well, I'm not speaking, you know, just to be saying, and I'm saying that because it is true, I've done tried him and he's all right. There's a whole song that says I done tried him and he's all right. He truly is. If you want to see your life get better, all you have to do is start seeking his face. Matthew 6, 33 says seek first the kingdom of God and all of his righteousness, and all of these things shall be added unto you. This is very true. A lot of times we want to see the hand of God in our lives, but we're not putting God in every aspect of our lives. That's a word, okay. It's important to prioritize your father. He's the giver and taker of life and a lot of times again, we go off of what we see or what our parents taught us. It's not that great to go off of secondhand information because you're going to be missing something. How do I know that that is true? Well, I see it every day. Look at the world around us. You know so many things that have taken place, and this is it's day 18 of 2024. And also, today is my birthday.

Speaker 2:

A lot of you guys that don't know me, some that do something that I do each and every year around my birthday. I don't do it around my birthday, I do it all the time, but I always ask God to blow my mind on my birthday. I just ask Him to blow my mind, and you know, when I got the phone call to be able to get into the studio and to be able to record, it was yesterday. It was actually yesterday and you know, being that today is my birthday 1882, I just think that God is doing a new thing, not just in my life. Not just in my life, but also in yours as well. If you take heed to the words that are being spoken, you know the father will pour his spirit out on those that he chooses, and I know that for sure because he did for me. He's blown my mind. So far, everything has been so amazing. 2024 has been. This is beginning to be a year of celebration.

Speaker 2:

Like I told you guys, I'm married now, so my last name is changed, is Stephanie L Harrison. I am still doing the prayer call, so that's right. The prayer call is still very active. A shout out to the ladies of ISI I don't know where I would be without any of these ladies. Honestly, I don't.

Speaker 2:

Each and every morning we get up at 6am and we say these affirmations, the affirmations that we say come straight from the word of God. Okay, so a lot of times, you know, one of our affirmations is I am a problem solver, I am intelligent, I am loving I have a list of them that I say I'm above and never beneath, I'm the head and not the tail. So many. Because when you affirm yourself, you're affirming yourself in the word of God, in the word of God. So that's one of the benefits that you get. When you start to seek his face, he starts to align you with the right people at the right time, and I'm so very thankful. I'm thankful that God, you know, is orchestrating every aspect of my life. And what I want you, ladies and gentlemen, to understand is that if he's doing it for me, then I know that he's going to do it for you.

Speaker 2:

To be honest, I was a little nervous, because usually I have a guest or a co-host in here with me, but this time things are going to be a little different. I'm doing what the says to Lord and I'm just reintroducing you guys to Inside Beauty and Spires and telling you a little bit back, a little background about it and telling you how it got started and where it originated from. But I had to shout out the ladies of ISI, because without the ladies of ISI I wouldn't even know that this gift was a real thing. I knew it was real because when you have a call on your life, it's like you keep being drawn to it. You can't help it, and when you're drawn to the word like that, that means God is trying to get your attention. So the very fact that you're listening to me today, take heed to the words that I'm saying, because God wants to do something in your life as well. He's the one that set it up. About five years ago he gave me a word, he told me to start a prayer call, and I've talked to you guys about this before. But it hits a little different because this is year 42 for me, and the reason why it hits a little different is because I'm realizing obedience is where it's at.

Speaker 2:

When God tells you to do something, just do what he asks you to do. Sometimes it seems like it's very difficult, right, but the truth of the matter is it's really not. When you have Christ, when you believe in his Son, the Bible says I can do all things. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. He gives us a supernatural strength. And here's another revelation that I've gotten with the Holy Spirit and with the Lord is that the things that really do matter in this life, you can't purchase them. They must be filled, they must be given. And who's the giver of the gifts? Our Father.

Speaker 2:

So when he told me to create this space, I was a little nervous because I didn't know are they going to listen to me? Why would they listen to Stephanie? Why would they listen to me, dad? The Bible tells us when I open your mouth, when I, when you open your mouth, I will put the words in which leads me to Jeremiah one. So we're going to I'm, I'm, I'm a spirit lad this morning, because I do have so many things that I want to talk to you guys about so many things. But we're going to start right here in Jeremiah, and I understand why he wants me to start in Jeremiah is because he gave me a word from Jeremiah concerning my birthday. So if you guys want for me, go to Jeremiah one and just read alone and follow alone. I'm reading the new living translation, these words, these are the words of Jeremiah, son of Hakeah, one of the priests from the town of Anthem in the land of Benjamin.

Speaker 2:

The Lord first gave messages to Jeremiah during the 13th year of the reign of Josiah, son of Amon, king of Judah. The Lord's message continued throughout the reign of King Joachim, josiah's son, until the 11th year of the reign of King Zedekiah, another of Josiah's son. In August of that 11th year, the people of Jerusalem were taken away as captives. Now he's setting it up to tell you what's going on prior to Jeremiah's message from the Lord. So the Lord gave me this message. I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb, before you were born, I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nation. So let's stop right there. That said so many things, so many things. But the main message is I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb.

Speaker 2:

Now I know that there's a lot of people that feels away when you know we. You know well. I can only speak from my experience. Okay, so, um, you know, having children out of wedlock or, you know, getting pregnant. A lot of people are like you know, you shouldn't do this, and it's in the word. It's in the word and there's a reason behind it as well. But let me just tell you guys, the only person that can make a baby is God. Yes, there's an act, but every time the act goes on, you're not always pregnant, right? But who ordains life? Who's to give her a life? Our father.

Speaker 2:

So it's stating I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb, meaning that we were with God. We were with God before we were formed in our mother's womb, before you were born, I set you apart and I appointed you as my prophet to the nation. So before Jeremiah was even born, he had a call on his life. Let's keep going, because here's another interesting thing that I find interesting in the word of God these prophets that God called. They talked back with God. Why wouldn't you? People say you shouldn't question him. But I say why not ask God what's going on in your life? You don't think he'll answer. He's the Alpha, the Omega.

Speaker 2:

Jeremiah 33, verse 3, says call to me and I will answer you and I will tell you unsurpassable things that you do not know. How do I know this to be true? Well, I called out to him because I didn't know which way he wanted me to go, and he answered me. He will answer you, so I'm going to keep reading here. It says oh, sovereign Lord, I said I can't speak for you, I'm too young.

Speaker 2:

Let's talk about it. I can't speak for you, I'm too young. For a long time people didn't know who I was or what I carried, because I do have a baby face and I don't look my age. I'm 42 today and sometimes people don't take you serious because you have a youthful look, and most times people kind of dismiss children because they don't think that they can tell them anything. But I'm here to tell you the devil is a lie. A child can and will inform you. As a matter of fact, you can't even get into heaven unless you humble yourself as a child. So it's the childlike faith that truly does move our father. Let's keep going.

Speaker 2:

The Lord replied. Don't say I'm too young, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you, and don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken. Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said Look, I have put my words in your mouth. Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others, you must build up and plant. Now, these are the words of the Lord.

Speaker 2:

A lot of times and I have to say it, just hear me and hear my heart. A lot of times we don't know and we don't think God has the ability to do things of this nature. But he is who he says he is. A lot of times, people want to hear from God, not realizing. If they get into their word, they will hear from him. They will know that he exists, they will know that his word stands true. See, I'm here to give a revelation on how to navigate in this world, in the world that we're living in right now, with the word of God. It's the antidote to everything in life, whether we believe it or not, this word will not return void. If the Lord said it, he's going to do it. He said it in his words that he'll never put those to shame who trust in him. Why am I so confident of that? Because I'm seeking his face.

Speaker 2:

I started by telling you guys that the prayer call has been going on for a little over five years and the prayer call consists of us getting up each and every single day at 6am Some get up at 5, but the prayer call starts at 6. And we say these affirmations and we do a devotional. And I have Bible studies. We started in Genesis because we wanted to know, we wanted to see for ourselves, and I'm telling you what we've seen so far is that God speaks. So if you want to know, if you want to hear God's voice, go to the Old Testament, because one thing that I recognize and realize is that his voice never changed. He didn't. His spirit never changed. The people that he used changed, but the spirit never changed and the spirit is still the same. He said I'll never put those to shame and I trust him and I believe him. Therefore, I see, let me just back up a little bit. He says here look, I have put my words in your mouth Today.

Speaker 2:

I point you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Do you know how hard it is to walk in alignment to the call that's on your life when everyone is standing around trying to pick you apart, trying to find something to use against you, trying to find a reason to discredit you. This is what the enemy does and gets you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. The enemy does and guess what people? He needs people. Yes, he needs a body. The same way, the Holy Spirit needs a body, the demonic entities need a body too. That's why the Bible says we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but spirits in high places. There's a reason for everything under the sun. It's in Ecclesiastics. When you start to read the word, you start to get it. So when he calls you, he's going to equip you.

Speaker 2:

You may feel like Jeremiah, I'm too young. I'm too young, I can't. What do I know? Well, it's not about what you know. It's about who you know. You know, the father gave me a word this morning, before I came in here, and the word that he gave me was Stephanie. I want you to give insight to my sight. Give them insight on my sight, s-i-g-h-t. His sight, his eyes, his lenses, his ways. Many are called for, your chosen why. We all go through ups and downs. We all have to go through ups and downs.

Speaker 2:

The Bible talks about persecution. It's a real thing. Nobody says, hey, I want to do that, for it to be picked apart, to be told that you're not good enough, to be told that you don't meet the standards. That's why I love Jesus so very much. I do Because he came on the scene and changed everything, and it was the religious leaders that he was speaking to. They couldn't take him. He offended them, he was offensive, his ways were offensive. Get into the words, you'll see it for yourself. So today I point you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up in plants. Now I have my commentary here with me today and I'm going to go to Jeremiah 1, to this verse 10, so that I can break things down just a little bit more for you. So here I decided to just start here with Jeremiah 1 and go all the way down to 10.

Speaker 2:

Jeremiah is a sad book. You don't want to read it if you're feeling down, because the weeping prophet will have you crying with him At the depths of unfaithfulness to which God's people sink and the severe judgment that God delivered. Jeremiah was a priest from the town of Anthon in the territory of Benjamin, located about three miles northeast of Jerusalem, he was called to deliver God's message, to judge of judgment, to the southern kingdom of Judah. The northern kingdom of Israel had already been swept away by the assessor in in 722 BC. The time stamp on his ministry covers a period of 40 years plus, beginning in the 13th year of the reign of Josiah, the last of the good kings of Judah, and continuing through the destruction of Jerusalem and the people's exile into Babylon.

Speaker 2:

The Lord announced to Jeremiah that he had been appointed, that he had appointed him a prophet to the nations. Like Moses before him, jeremiah protested God's call on his life because he didn't know how to speak. But God had decided before Jeremiah was even born that he would use him this way, for he delight in demonstrating his great power in human weaknesses. Happy times were not ahead for Jeremiah. When the Lord tells you to not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to rescue you. You know that you're in for some hard days. Nevertheless, god fortified Jeremiah and promised the prophet his divine protection. Jeremiah was going to need it. Given his assigned role. I, the Lord, have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.

Speaker 2:

Jeremiah's message was not one of the complete despair and destruction After the people had experienced 70 years of exile in Babylon, that was going to bring them back into the land and rebuild his temple. Still, it wouldn't be popular. So what if God calls you right and you don't feel equipped and you don't feel like you can do it? He's telling you that he's going to be with you, but a lot of times we don't trust or believe that the word of God is true. That's why the main ingredient is faith. That's another ingredient that you need when running to the word. You have to believe that his word is true. Let's keep going. Then the Lord said to me look, jeremiah, what do you see? And I replied I see a branch from an almond tree. And the Lord said that's right. It means that I am watching and I will certainly carry out my plans. Okay, I gotta go here. Okay, the Lord is watching. The Lord is watching.

Speaker 2:

Since January, the first till today, we've been in the book of Proverbs. The book of Proverbs is a book about wisdom. One of the key ingredients that the Lord needs us to understand is to fear Him when you get into Proverbs, and the reason why I'm skipping around is because I want you to understand exactly what I mean when I say these things to you. Okay, proverbs gives you insights, it helps you understand, it gives you discipline, it shows you how to live a disciplined and successful life. It helps you to do what is right and what is fair. It gives you insight on the simplest things. It gives you knowledge to discern the things that you need to discern. You know it does exactly what the Word says it's going to do.

Speaker 2:

But Proverbs 1, verse 7, says Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Listen, I am afraid of God. I am and you will be too, when God calls your name and asks you to deliver, you can't just get up there and deliver a word without being coached, without being trained, without being salt, meaning you seek His Word and you find Him. The Word says Seek first the kingdom. The kingdom is in you, but it's also in the Word, because something comes alive on the inside of you that lets you know that you can't live any kind of way, that you can't do certain things and let me back up when I say you can't do certain things, because I need people to understand this as well it's really your heart posture that the Lord is looking at. It truly is your heart posture.

Speaker 2:

A lot of times we don't understand that that's what matters to the Lord. But again, we've been in the book of Proverbs, we've been learning about wisdom and he's always looking at the heart of a man. It's a really good book to get into. So let me encourage you listeners get into the book of Proverbs. Start at Proverbs 1 and do a proverb every single day so that the Father can give you insight and wisdom, because you can't operate in this life without it.

Speaker 2:

The fear of the Lord is a must. When you start getting into the Word, you understand okay, there's two ways, there's two sides. What do I mean by that? When I was reading in the Word, it's in the book of Romans. But it said the Lord is both kind and severe, kind and severe. What do I mean by that? Well, let's keep going, because he's talking to Jeremiah and I want to get the word out of what he's saying to Jeremiah. Then the Lord said to me look, jeremiah, what do you see? And I replied I see a branch from an almond tree. And the Lord said that's right, and it means that I am watching and I will certainly carry out my plans.

Speaker 2:

Then the Lord spoke to me again and asked what do you see now? And I replied I see a pot of boiling water spilling from the north. Yes, the Lord said, for the terror from the north will boil out on the people of this land. Listen, I'm calling the armies of the kingdom of the north to come to Jerusalem. I, the Lord, have spoken. They will set their thrones at the gate of the city. They will attack its walls and all the other towns of Judah. I will pronounce judgment on my people for all of their evils evil, for deserting me and burning incense to other gods. Yes, they worship idols made with their own hands. Get up and prepare for action. Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say, and do not be afraid of them or I will make you look foolish in front of them.

Speaker 2:

For see, today I have made you strong, like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall. You will stand against the whole land, the kings, officials, priests and people of Judah. They will fight you, but they will fail, for I am with you and I will take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken Now. When I read this the first time, a couple of things I told you. Jeremiah 1-18 was what the Lord spoke to me. But there's another side to the Lord that if you don't do what he says, you know it's going to be on you, it's going to be up to you. And you know a lot of times we all have choices. I'm not going to say a lot of times. Every single day there's a choice. The Bible says I put before you life and death, blessings and curses. Today, you choose. Well, let's look at it. It's in Deuteronomy 30. Go to Deuteronomy 30. In the future, when you experience all these blessings and curses I have listed for you, and when you are living among the nations to which the Lord, your God, has exiled, you, take to heart all these instructions. If, at that time, you and your children return to the Lord, your God, and if you obey with all your heart and all your soul all the commands I have given to you today, then the Lord, your God, will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you. Even though you are banished to the ends of the earth, the Lord, your God, will gather you from there and bring you back again. The Lord, your God, will return you, return you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will possess that land again. Then he will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors. The Lord, your God, will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants so that you will live, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live. The Lord, your God, will inflict on, inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate and persecute you. Then you will again obey the Lord and keep all his commands that I am giving you today. The Lord, your God, will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock. He will cause your fields to produce abundant harvest, for the Lord will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors. The Lord, your God, will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this book of instruction and if you turn to the Lord, your God, with all your heart and soul. So you see, it is written. It is written. Let's continue to go.

Speaker 2:

Verse 11. This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you and it's not beyond your reach. Let's pause. He's telling us in essence, my ways are not burdensome, they're not hard at all, but it will be in opposition of the way that the world works, the way that the world does things. There is a difference. Here's a difference. He says it and again, like I said, if you want to hear the Lord speak, getting to the word, he speaks. He spoke through the prophets, he speaks to the prophets, and it's written. This is the Lord speaking. This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you and it is not beyond your reach. It is not kept in heaven or so distant that you must ask who will go up to heaven and bring it down so that we can hear it and obey. It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey. No, the message is very close at hand. It is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it. It is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it. What is the word Tell us? It tells us to hide the word of God in our hearts. Why? Because out of our heart flows the issues of life. Most people are having problems in their life, not realizing it's heart issues. They're trying to change everything on the outside, not understanding that it's internal, not understanding that it's an inside job. The Lord wants to assess your heart, but a lot of times, circumstances and situations has caused our hearts to become calloused. Meaning heart, hard hearts. It's hard for anyone to get through a hard heart. Let's keep going. Now listen. Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster, for I command you this day to love the Lord, your God, and to keep His commands, decrees and regulations by walking in His ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply and the Lord, your God, will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. But if your hearts turn away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long life, good life, in the land you are causing the Jordan to occupy. Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make Now. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life so that you and your descendants might live. You can make this choice by loving the Lord, your God, obeying Him and committing yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life, and if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, isaac and Jacob. Now I ask the Father today. I say God, dad, order myself. I ask Him just every day. Right, I do Order my steps, use my tongue for the edification of the kingdom. Have me to speak words that give life, words that are refreshing to the spirit and to the soul. But that's just what he's doing on today. You know, I ask God to order my steps. I surrender my will to His way. His ways are not burdensome, but you have to seek His face. Don't go off a secondhand information and don't be afraid to get into your words. Don't be afraid to seek Him. You know he's waiting, he's waiting, he's. We're not waiting on God. God is waiting for us to bust a move. But, like I like to say, scared money don't make no money. If you're scared, then how are you going to know If anybody you're scared of you should be scared of your Father, because he's the giver and taker of life. So many people want to debate about the Word of God and go back and forth, but when you know Him, you know Him. I don't do that. I don't debate, I don't go back and forth with people about the Word, because he's giving me insight. He's giving me insight, you know, and that calls my name. I can be honest with you and tell you I was like you know what are people going to think?

Speaker 2:

Fear of people will keep you stuck. That's another word for you listeners on today. I asked the Lord. I said, dad, what's our main problem Like? Why are so many people falling? He said people. He said it's because of people.

Speaker 2:

Then he took me to Exodus and talked to me about Moses. If you know the story of Moses, moses was called and I spoke to him through a burning bush. He also sent Aaron with him. He went to Pharaoh several times this is just me summing up the story and told Pharaoh what the Father told him to do. He couldn't be afraid to do what God told him to do. Just like me and you. We can't be afraid when the Father is with us. He is. We're not doing this on our own.

Speaker 2:

Just the other day, he took me to the book of Daniels and had me talk about kindness and about Daniel and how Daniel had a gift from God. He was able to interpret dreams, and none of the misjudges and astrologers or those who practice other things were able to do this, but God had enabled one of His children to be the voice and today I speak boldly. The Lord called me. He called me just like he called Jeremiah. He appointed me a prophetess to the nation. I gladly accepted his call because the world needs to hear from him. And prophetess, they do hear from him. He does give them insight. They do know who he is. They're not in this game to get money or well. You have all kinds of people. Let me just back up, because in this world you're going to see many different types of people, but there's two main categories and I don't care how you try to slice it, dice it, make it fit. There are believers and there are unbelievers, just like there's blessings and there's curses, just like there's life and there's death. And guess who has the choice you do. You can choose to lean to your own understanding when Proverbs tells us not to. You can choose to do things the way that your mom and your dad did things, but you didn't see anybody growing from that. You can do things like the world. You can chase the bag, but my advice is to chase the word. My advice is to get in the word, to make your father your priority. He is the giver and the taker of life, blessings and curses. Follow those, follow all of us, but we get to choose. The choice is ours at the end of the day, the Lord is telling me to go to Hebrews 4. So I'm going to go to Hebrews 4.

Speaker 2:

It says God's promise of entering His rest still stands. So we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. Listen, that's how come I'm so passionate about the word, because if God is doing this in my life, why wouldn't I want others to experience the hand of God in theirs? You know I would. It says for this good news that God has prepared this rest has been announced to us, just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn't share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter His rest.

Speaker 2:

Just for others, god said in my anger, I took an oath they will never enter my place of rest, even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. We know it is ready because of the place in the scriptures where it is, where it mentions the seventh day. On the seventh day God rested from all his work. But in the other passages God said they will never enter my place of rest. So God's rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God said another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later, in the words already quoted today. When you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts. Now, if Joshua has succeeded in giving them this rest, god would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God, for all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.

Speaker 2:

So let us do our best to enter that rest, but if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall, for the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting through a cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. So, then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, jesus, the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of gracious God. There we will receive His mercy. We will find grace to help us when we need it the most, when we need it the most.

Speaker 2:

I don't know who you are, I don't know what you're going through, but I know God brought you to this place to get this Word. I feel this presence all around me right now as I speak to you. He literally directed my steps on today and I understand why he had me to come in here on my birthday to give this Word, because I was born four times. Such as this. He is who he says. He is people. There are so many people that are at war with themselves. You're not at war with anyone else. You're at war with the man in the mirror, and the Lord wants to transform you. He wants to give you a new heart. He wants to transform your heart. He wants you to allow Him into your heart so that he can fix it. He can. As long as we have breath inside of our bodies, we're still here to make a difference. The Father chooses who he pleases. You know, I'm thinking about Matthew 15 as we speak. I'm going to go to Matthew 15.

Speaker 2:

Some Pharisees and teachers of the religious law now arrived from Jerusalem to see Jesus. They asked Him why do your disciples disobey our age-old tradition? For they ignore our tradition of ceremonial hand washing before they eat. Jesus replied and why do you, by your traditions, violate the direct commands of God? For instance, god says under your father and mother, and anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death. But you say it is all right for people to say to their parents sorry, I can't help you. I have vowed to give to God what I have given to you In this way. You say they don't need to honor their parents, and so you counsel the word of God for the sake of your own tradition, you hypocrites. Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote these people under me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God. Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear, listen, he said, and try to understand. It's not what goes in your mouth that defiles you. You are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. Then the disciples came to him and asked Do you realize you offended the Pharisees by what you just said. Jesus replied Every plant not planted by my heavenly father will be uprooted. So ignore them. They are blind gods leading the blind, and if one blind person got another, they will both fall into a ditch. Then Peter said to Jesus explain to us the parable that says people aren't the foul by what they eat. Don't you understand? Yet Jesus asked Anything you eat passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer, but the words you speak come from the heart. That's what defiles you, for from the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, death, lying and slander. These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you.

Speaker 2:

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tri and Sidon. A Gentile woman who lived there came to him pleading have mercy on me, o Lord, son of David, for my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely. But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged him to send her away. Tell her to go away. They said she is bothering us with all her begging. Then Jesus said to the woman I was sent only to help God's law sheep, the people of Israel. But she came and worshiped him pleading again Lord, help me.

Speaker 2:

Jesus responded it isn't right to take food from the children and throw it to the dog. Now y'all gotta understand. When I read this for the first time, I'm like whoa on the plague. On the plague, wait a minute, daddy. First of all, what? There's a woman whose child is being tormented by a demon, and Jesus' response is it isn't right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs. I say wait a minute, god, you gotta explain this. But I kept reading. You have to keep reading. Don't get stuck on one scripture. Y'all Keep reading in its entirety, because the message is in the book of instructions. What book is that? The Bible? Okay, this is Matthew 15, verse 27,. By the way, she replied that's true, lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fell, that fall beneath their master's table.

Speaker 2:

Listen at what Jesus says next. Dear woman, your faith is great, your request is granted and her daughter was instantly healed. Now her faith moved God, and I know you're probably saying why would Jesus say that? Well, he came to his people. He went to the Jews first. These were the religious leaders who were offended by the anointing that he had has on his life.

Speaker 2:

It says here Jesus returned to the Sea of Galilee and climbed the hill and sat down. A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn't speak and many others. They laid them before Jesus and he healed them all. The crowd was amazed. Those who hadn't been able to speak were talking, the cripple were made well, the lame were walking and the blind could see again, and they praised the God of Israel. Then Jesus called his disciples and told them I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days and they have nothing left to eat. I don't want to send them away hungry or they will faint along the way. The disciples replied where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd? Jesus asked how much bread do you have? They replied seven loaves and a few small fish. So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to all the crowd. They all ate as much as they wanted. Afterwards the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food. There were 4,000 men who were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children. Then Jesus sent the people home and he got into the boat and crossed over to the region of Magdan.

Speaker 2:

As we come to a close, I hope you guys understood and understand what the father is speaking and saying. He gives us instructions. He gives us this book to read, he gives us illustrations. He's giving me right now Hebrews 11. Okay, daddy, so I'm gonna leave you, ladies and gentlemen, with Hebrews 11.

Speaker 2:

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for. It is the evidence of things that we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in the days of old earned a good reputation by faith. We understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel's offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.

Speaker 2:

It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying. He disappeared because God took him For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God, and it is impossible to please God without faith, and it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith, noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith. It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going, and even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith, for he was like a foreigner living in tents, and so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.

Speaker 2:

Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God. It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was bearing and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise, and so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead, a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them. All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners in nomads here on earth. Obviously, people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. If they had loaned for it the country they came from, they could have gone back, but they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Speaker 2:

It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice. When God was testing him, abraham, who had received God's promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, isaac, even though God told him Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted. Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, god was able to bring him back to life again and, in a sense, abraham did receive his son back from the dead. It was by faith that Isaac promised blessings for the future to his sons, jacob and Esau. It was by faith that Jacob, when he was old and dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons and bowed in worship as he leaned on his staff. It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.

Speaker 2:

It was by faith that Moses' parents hid him for three months. When he was born, they saw that God had given them an unusual child. They were not afraid to disobey the king's command. It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose, there again, choices. He chose to share the oppression of God's people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward. It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king's anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eye on the one who was invisible. It was by faith that Moses commanded the people of Israel to keep the Passover and to sprinkle blood on the doorposts so that the angel of death would not kill their firstborn sons. It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground, but when the Egyptians tried to follow, they all drowned. It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days and the walls came crashing down. It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed with the people in her city who refused to obey God, but she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

Speaker 2:

How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, barak, samson, jezepheth, david, samuel and all the prophets. By faith, these people overthrew kingdoms ruled with justice and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quench the flames of fire and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weaknesses was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight, and women received their loved ones back again from death.

Speaker 2:

But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. Some were jeered at and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons, some died by stoning, some were solid in half and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing scans of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. They were too good for this world.

Speaker 2:

Wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes and grounds, all these people earned a good reputation because of their faith. Yet none of them received all that God had promised, For. God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us. Listen, god is speaking to his children today. He used me to be the messenger. The word of God has gone forth, and those with the ear let them hear what the says to the Lord. I want to leave you guys with this word of encouragement today Proverbs 2, verse 3 and 4, cry out for insight and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver. Seek them like hidden treasures.

Speaker 2:

Silver is typically not found in handy little nuggets. It is mixed in long veins with a variety of ores and metals. In biblical times, silver mining was dangerous and it was often performed by slaves, many of whom lost their lives during this dangerous work. After the vines of mixed metals and ores were removed from the earth. They had to be refined. Isaiah 48, verse 10, speaks about silver being refined in a furnace, as does Proverbs 27, 21,. In Ezekiel, 22, 18, mentions using bellows to extract silver from the ores. Exodus 31, verses 3 and 5, outlines the specialized level of skills necessary for working with silver and other metals.

Speaker 2:

It is our honor and responsibility as believers to seek out the wisdom in the word of God with this level of diligence and attention. The word is easily understood by a child, but wisdom is gained by truly focusing on searching or mining the scriptures with increasing skill and attentions throughout our lives. Dear Father, I pray that we seek the word with all the baggage of our daily life, yet we desire your wisdom. Please clear the hearts and minds of those who are listening so that we can truly understand what your word are saying. These are my words of encouragement for today. I pray that you have been blessed by the word of God. I pray that you understand.

Speaker 2:

Listen for the spiritual insight. The Father is speaking. He is speaking to His children and he wants us to understand that there is life and death in the power of our tongue. Take heed to these words that are coming out of my mouth. Understand that I am your girl, stephanie L Harrison, and this has been Inside Beauty Inspires, where we encourage, motivate and inspire through the word of God. Have an amazing day on purpose, and always remember he's only one call away. He will be there to save the day. Superman does not have anything on Him. He is your Father, the one that sees all, knows all, and he wants to give you insight to His insight, to His sight. Have an amazing day, peace.
