Speaker 1:

new, new, new, everything new, new, new, new, new, new, everything new. I'm ready to go. Hello, hello, it is stephanie and you are now listening into. Inside, beauty inspires, where we motivate, encourage and inspire through biblical principles. I have missed you guys. Thank you so much for tuning in.

Speaker 1:

We've been talking about divine wisdom. We've been exploring Solomon's legacy. We've been talking about David's redemption and the guidance of the prophetic. One thing that I want you guys to understand is that the book of Proverbs talks about wisdom. You know the last show. We talked about how it's important to gain wisdom and insight, and I also told you guys that we will be doing a challenge. I hope you guys have been keeping up with the challenge.

Speaker 1:

We've been doing a challenge which we've been reading a book of Proverbs daily for the month of July, and so my question to you is can embracing wisdom truly lead to a life of honor and respect? Can it truly lead to this? Based off of some of the things that we've been finding in the book of Proverbs, it's laying out undeniable benefits of valuing God's wisdom above all else, and so we're going to continue to discuss how seeking divine wisdom can guide us towards making better decisions, having an honorable character and ultimately leading a life that aligns with God's, will See the insights of Solomon revered for. This unparalleled wisdom serves as the cornerstone. In other words, david was always with God and God was with David. David has a son, solomon, and guess who writes the book of Proverbs? Solomon. So let's just jump into it. Today is the 20th, and so I would love for you guys, whenever you get some time, to read the book of Proverbs, chapter 20. But I'm going to take one of the Proverbs from it today, proverbs 20. And it's verse 24. This is what it reads A person's steps are directed by the Lord. How, then, can anyone understand their own way? How, then, can anyone understand their own way?

Speaker 1:

Independence is highly valued in our culture, so it's difficult for believers to understand what a healthy dependence on God looks like. Jesus called himself the vine and his people the branches. We understand that the branches are dependent upon the vine for their lives, and we should consider God, nothing less and a whole lot more. When we depend on God, we seek him. Through the reading of his word. We'll find wisdom and direction for much of what we need in a daily life. Here we also need to see God through prayer. How do we know if we're praying properly for the things that matter, the things that truly matter to God? Paul answered that question in his letter to the Roman believers to God. Paul answered that question in his letter to the Roman believers. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. That's 8, verses 26. To avoid sinful independence and to learn how to lean into a healthy dependence on God, we read, pray, pray and read. We learn who our King is and we find out by seeking Him what pleases Him. May the Lord, our God King, may I know you and learn how to please you. May I always prioritize you and your plan for me. In other words, trust God. In other words, trust God. But do we even know what it looks like to truly trust God? Do we know what that looks like? It says independence is highly valued in our culture. So it's difficult for believers to understand what a healthy dependence on God looks like. Jesus even gives the illustration of the vine and the branches. And you know, what's so interesting is that we're in the book of Isaiah. We're in the book of Isaiah. We've come out of the book of first King and second King and we kind of skipped over Chronicles, because we do see that it's a recap of the things that went on in first King and second King. It's kind of a little bit more more um in depth on some of the challenges and the things that went through when David went through and, um, we learn more about Solomon in his ways. But there's also another prophet that comes on the scene that gives illustration to who our Father is at heart Isaiah, isaiah.

Speaker 1:

And before I literally just jump into the book of Isaiah, I do want to touch on the things that we learned in the book of First King. I mean, this was an interesting book. It was such an interesting book and some interesting things that took place here, and I want to give you guys some of those nuggets and some of those surprises that I had as I was reading. I mean, I was literally in shock at some of the things that I had as I was reading. I mean I was literally in shock at some of the things that were happening during this time. But the truth of the matter is that those are the same things that are happening today. And the only reason why we don't know that they're happening today is because we're not in the word. If we start to see God's face every single day, I guarantee you're going to learn something new and you're going to have wisdom.

Speaker 1:

Wisdom comes straight from knowing God. God is Jesus's dad. Guess what? He's our father too. But if we're not connecting to the plug, if we're not connecting to the vine, then his children truly do perish for lack of knowledge. How are we supposed to have insight to his sight if we're not reading the words that are written in this book? Play by play, word by word, chapter by chapter, I get to know him for myself. So nobody can't take that part away from me.

Speaker 1:

When it comes down to this word and what I'm saying to you, it's been ordained by the Father. And what I'm saying to you, it's been ordained by the father. He appointed me for a time such as this to speak his word, and speak his word boldly, because he wants his children to be saved. He wants his children to know who he is. He says we lack, we perish for lack of knowledge. What knowledge do you think he's talking about? It's not the world's wisdom. Yes, the world can show you a lot of things. But what happens when you trust God? What happens when you lean not to your own understanding? See, this is what wisdom does. It shows you a whole new world.

Speaker 1:

When you get in alignment with the word, when you start to get to know him for yourself, man, it hit different. I can't tell you anything. I don't know. I'm very confident in what I do. See, god orchestrated our lives and we are where we are at this very moment because God orchestrated it. It's not by chance, it's by his will, because, guess what? Many are the plans that we have, but only the plans that are going to prevail are the Lord's. That's it. So even on your worst day, your worst day, god is still in control. What I've been seeing throughout this word, hallelujah, what I've been seeing throughout this word, is that his truth will prevail.

Speaker 1:

Everything that he told Moses in the book of Deuteronomy is why we're suffering today. It is the truth. He gave it to Moses in the beginning. He said blessings and curses, life and death, and he said you get to choose. You get to choose. The choice is ours. But guess what we typically choose? We choose the way of the world. Why do we choose the way of the world, because we indulge ourselves in the culture. We watch all this TV programming yeah, it's programming. It controls the nature, it's controlling our children. Then we wonder why? Why are the things happening? If God is so good, why are all of these things happening? Because it's written, because everybody has a choice. Look around you. The things that are around you didn't just happen. God put his spirit. His spirit was the same spirit that was operating. And David, when David spoke to his son, he gave his son some instructions as well. He did this.

Speaker 1:

Now we know, when you get into the word more, you realize that Solomon didn't always do everything the right way. Okay, it was one of those sins that his father had had that he inherited, meaning women. Yes, solomon had a thousand women. He sure did. I know it's crazy, right, but he had a thousand. What it was like? 700 wives and like 300 concubines Crazy, right.

Speaker 1:

But when we get into the word, we realize that this really did happen back in the day, right, we realize that the lineage of David came from Jesus. Jesus came from that line. There are things that we inherited from the bloodline, right, and we don't know what our struggles are. But guess who does, daddy? And guess who speaks still today, daddy, and guess who will give you knowledge and understanding, dad? But guess what People lean to their own understanding so very much that you don't even hear his voice.

Speaker 1:

He sends people like me into the lives of those who are praying, but then, when they meet someone like me, they can't receive the message from looking at the messenger. God said I chose to put the knowledge and the mysteries and I chose to hide those things in the foolish things, the things that the world considers foolish. That's what his words say in Corinthians. So the more that you get into the word first Corinthians, so the more that you get into the word, the more you realize how real it is. This is insight to his sight. When you let go and you let God which I did today he takes over. Hear me by the spirit of the Lord. He's speaking. Are you listening? Yes, you, you've been talking to him. You want to see something totally different in your life, but you're not changing nothing.

Speaker 1:

And then got the nerve to get mad at God and blame him. Where they do that? In America. They do that here in America, yes, they do. They blame God for all of their misfortunes, for when things go wrong, not realizing he wants your ear and he wants your heart so that he can put the words in your mouth, so that you can speak to those things. But you don't even know the authority that you have. You don't know that there truly is power in this word, because guess what You're watching, that's what you're listening to, and then guess who you're getting advice from. Yep, I got to say it. Guess who you're getting advice from. Look at those people's lives that you're getting the advice from. Can they really tell you anything? Are they leading with God? Is God the head of their life? If not, then you need to change your communication to communicating with him.

Speaker 1:

He says in Jeremiah 33, verse three call to me and I will answer you. You and I will tell you unsearchable things that you do not know. He's still the same God. You know if I can be honest with you. You know I'm in the Old Testament and I'm reading these stories and I'm so excited about them because there's something on the inside of me that is getting me closer, drawing me closer. He's real. That is getting me closer, strong me closer. He's real. It's his spirit. His spirit will lead you and guide you if you let it.

Speaker 1:

But most times, when God packs powerful things and people like me, people usually miss this, miss miss they. Just they miss it, they miss it, and I don't want the listeners or the people that God assigned me to to miss it. So I have to do my due diligence and I have to be about my father's business. I have to do what thus says the Lord. I have to put the word out, because it's his word and his word will not. It won't return void, it won't. Everything that he spoke of will prevail.

Speaker 1:

That's why it's like why do you think the way that you think? Why do you see things the way that you see things? Could it be? Could it be that you've put God to the side and you're trying to figure it out on your own? If I can be honest with you, whenever you start to do that right, when you're used to getting yourself out of things, you're used to doing it yourself. How can God do it when you're so bent on doing it yourself? That's how you've always navigated your world. Have you ever surrendered to God? Have you ever said you know what, lord, take the wheel, lord. You know what? I can't continue to lean on my own understanding in this matter. I'm going around in circles and I'm going around in circles and I'm not getting what I need to get because I'm not hearing. For you. Don't think for one second that God did not ordain that. I'm going to talk about it. If I'm going to talk about it, I got to talk about it because I can back it up. What do you mean? I can back it up.

Speaker 1:

It's written. A person's steps are directed by the Lord. How then, can anyone understand their own way? You're not going to be able to understand your own way, but if, if you start to seek God, if you start to depend on him, if you start speaking, then he'll show you. Why wouldn't he? What's the purpose of the Bible? What's the purpose of the bible? What's the purpose of reading it if he's not who he says he is?

Speaker 1:

So many people are struggling because they say, oh, I believe, and then they go worrying. And in Matthew 6 and 7 it tells us not to worry, to ask and it shall be given. To seek and you shall find, to knock and the door shall be open. So why are we not seeing the promises of God come to fruition? I'll tell you why? Because you're not seeking him, you're not prioritizing him, you're not putting him first. And how do you think he feels when we're his children? We all have a choice, all of us the same way. He just hijacked us. He just hijacked this call.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I call it a call, right, because it truly is a call, but that's usually what he does on the prayer call, you know. But he's the one that's operating. It's my voice. I have my, my Bible turned to first Kings. But here I am in Proverbs, because God is speaking. He says those with the ear, let them hear what thus says the Lord. We don't know the day nor the hour, but he is coming back. How do I know this to be true? Well, it's written. It's written Like I told you. I was like you know, I've been gone for a minute, about four weeks, right, maybe four or three weeks, and we've continued to do the prayer call. Like I told you. Guys, I shout out the ladies of ISI every time I get on here, because these ladies get up with me every single morning at 6 am, 545.

Speaker 1:

The prayer call starts at six and we say the affirmations and we do the Bible studies, the devotionals, and then we get into the word. We were in the book of first Kings when I um, when I started here, you know we had got a little further, but I wanted to introduce you guys to some things and I wanted to talk about Solomon and I wanted to talk about wisdom. I'll never not stop talking about wisdom because we need it and God will give it to us. It's in the book of James. He'll give it to us if we ask. But again, we're not seeking his face. We don't know the promises, we don't know that this word is true. We're just going through the motions of life, the motions, not expecting anything good, thinking that, hey, I'm too old for this, I'm too young for that.

Speaker 1:

In the book of Jeremiah he told Jeremiah don't say that you're too young or you're too old. He didn't say too old, but he said don't say that you're too young. But you already know how old was Moses. People, okay, time doesn't define God. He will use whoever's available. He says my eyes go seeking. Can he use you? Can the spirit of the Lord rest on you? Because he rests on those whose hearts are pure right. Yeah, according to the word, that's who he rests on.

Speaker 1:

So if you're walking around here, bitter, angry, mad, always got an attitude, always trying to scheme, plot and manipulate. Then, nine times out of 10, you got some sin lurking in your heart that you don't know anything about. And you're over here trying to tell somebody how to live their life right. You know what? That reminds me of Luke the plank and the speck. Oh, yes, it's a real thing. And if it wasn't that real, why would Jesus have come? Why is Jesus important? Why is David important? Why is Solomon important? Why is Isaiah, jeremiah, gideon, why are these people important? Because the spirit of the Lord rested upon them to do the will.

Speaker 1:

We're not even talking about the prophets. Let's talk about it. Churches are just still going going to church, right, yeah, going through the motions, but it's a five-fold ministry and the people who spoke from God were prophets and prophetess. These were God's messengers. If we get into the word, we'll realize it's not nothing to be afraid of. There's a call. But again, my children perish for lack of knowledge. They know everything. Now realizing that we're getting wisdom every single day. We're still on the potter's wheel every single day and as long as we have life in our body, he can mold us and shape us into the people that he want us to be, if you let him. You know.

Speaker 1:

I asked the Lord on the way here today. I said what's the message? What would you like for me to say to the people? What do you want me to tell them? God said follow instructions. It's in the book. The word of God is not so far that you can't reach it. It's not in the sea, buried in the very bottom where you can't find it. It's not in heaven. It's right there in front of you. It's on your phone. As a matter of fact. Yeah, technology, everything grows, right. You see how the, the, the um, generations, from generation to generation, we, from generation to generation it's called evolve, right, but we will call any and everything the devil because we don't have understanding and because we're not studying the word.

Speaker 1:

We feel like, if we go to church on Sunday, oh, check, check. Yeah, you're checking it off the list. A to-do thing, let me do my to-do list. Oh, let's check out church. And then got the nerve. Yes, I got to say it Didn't have the nerve to go around trying to tell everybody how to live their life. That ain't it.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says study to show yourself a proof. That's what the Bible says. Now I'm not here to condemn anyone. Now I'm not here to condemn anyone, convict anyone. Those aren't. That ain't what the Lord sent me here to do. The Lord sent me here as his messenger to spread the good news, to spread the gospel, to spread the word.

Speaker 1:

So many people are going through right now and they can declare and decree a thing, but guess why it's not happening? Because of their belief. They say they believe but they don't really believe. And the Lord is. He's allowing me to see this, he's showing me this. I believe him. He say don't trust people. I don't trust people. I trust the father. People will have you looking all kinds of ways crazy, but when you trust in the father, the son and holy spirit, he will lead you, he will guide you. Wisdom, wisdom speaks. Is it possible that wisdom could very well be the spirit of the lord? Could it come from god? I'm here to tell you, yes, yes. The more that you study the word, the more you you realize.

Speaker 1:

When he said let there be light, who is Christ? What does Jesus represent? The light In the very beginning. He spoke about Jesus In the beginning let there be light. That ain't never changed and then there was light. Here's the thing there's blessings and curses in this world. Yeah, if you go back into the book of Deuteronomy is in this world. Yeah, if you go back into the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 28, talks about it.

Speaker 1:

Moses is given a mandate. He's given an assignment. He used to tell the people the Lord has heard your cry. So you mean to tell me they believed him. When he passed, when he used his staff and God split at the Red Sea, they believed Moses. Then, right, so what happened? What happened? You start leaning to your own understanding. See, it's not like God hasn't showed up in your life before. Let's be real. You can remember back when he did what he did, how he did what he did and how you praise him. So what's going on for today? What's happening today?

Speaker 1:

You see, even in the old Testament, that's what it's speaking of, and it's talking about the spirit of the Lord. Yes, the spirit of the Lord is here. That's why you're getting chills, that's why you feel the presence, that's why this is speaking directly to your heart, to your soul, because it's anointed to do that very thing. That's what the word does. The word is powerful. Why don't we see the power, because you got a lot of people walking around here saying, well, god told me to say this and God told me to say that, and did God really tell you to say this and did God really tell you to say that? And then we're not seeing what these people are saying. Come to fruition, houston. We have a problem you don't think it's a problem with that.

Speaker 1:

When you get into the book of God, the book, the Bible, when you get into the Bible, there are stories that align with what I just said. There are stories that align with what I just like. God will use the plots of the enemy, okay, to get your attention. Yes, he will. What the enemy says for bad, god always turns it around for good. Look at the story of Joseph. That a matter of fact, that's the one who said it. Joseph is the one that said it, and he forgave his brothers.

Speaker 1:

We hold on to unfor unforgiveness. I read a post the other day, y'all, and it just, oh my goodness, it did something to my heart. I was like no, my god, no, somebody posted God forgives. I don't what my whole this body was like what, and guess where it came from? Rick Ross it did, I remember I don't know if it was like a song on his one of his albums, because I remember when I first saw it, and this was about, I'll say about seven or eight years ago, and I was like, wait a minute, what do you mean?

Speaker 1:

And I'm still, was still reading the word because, listen, in order for your sins to be forgiven, you got to forgive your neighbor. Yep, that's right. God loves them too, and it's not up to you to make the judgment calls on a person's life. But guess, who does it? The most? Believers. Yep, I'm calling us out today, christians. Yeah, we'll put our mouths on people, and it won't take but a second to do it, not realizing that you don't realize what you just did. Word curses are real, they are, but you also reap what you sow.

Speaker 1:

It's written the more that we get into the word, the more God is going to give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding. How does he do it? How does he do it? He does it through people like me, people like you. He wants you to surrender to his will and to his way so that he can show you there's more. But wait, there's more.

Speaker 1:

Why does the Bible say this? And I quote it all the time. Eyes haven't seen, ears haven't heard, nor is internet to the heart of man the things that he has in store for his children. Why do I say it if it isn't true? So rightfully so. You can't even fathom, think, what God has for you. But see, we lean so much on our own understanding that God can get you to your intended end, because you're set on doing things your way, not Yahweh's way.

Speaker 1:

And at the end of the day, when you get into the word, you see from cover to cover it does not miss a beat. It's the most interesting thing, man, listen, I love getting in this word. I love reading his word because it gives me insight. It allows me to see things the way the Lord sees things. You know it's the Lord that's speaking to his servants. The same way I'm speaking to you, elijah was speaking to the people of that day, the same way that I'm speaking to you. And those who have an ear, let them hear, because everybody's ears can't hear and everybody's eyes can't see. There's a passage that Jesus says to the disciples. He says people long to see what you see, they long to hear what you hear, but they didn't. They were prophets during it. You don't think that there are still prophets and prophetess in today. It is, but people aren't listening. But people aren't listening.

Speaker 1:

First, king, chapter nine. It says the clear choices of discipleship. God's charge to Solomon, though it came at a crucial and critical juncture in the national identity of the nation of Israel, was far from original. Moses had ended his instructions to the nation on the brink of the promised land with a similar challenge Deuteronomy, chapter 30, verses 11 through 20. Joshua, after leading the people to possess the land and nearing his death, had repeated these instructions. Joshua, chapter 2, I'm not sorry, it's Joshua, chapter 24, verses 14 through 28.

Speaker 1:

The message was simple God had given the people his presence and his promises and the people should respond with worship and obedience In each case. The great leaders explained that the people must make a critical choice between living a life of obedience to God and expecting his blessings, or following the path of disobedience and idolatry and facing pain, discipline and destruction. The choice between life and death was not a means of securing God's love. Rather, the decision to pursue life is the proper response of those who have experienced the love of God and their salvation. The consistent pattern of the Old Testament, people of God reveals that people naturally choose the path of destruction. Jesus is the only one who has ever walked through the narrow gate and perfectly followed the path to life, though through faith. Through faith, his followers can receive the gift of the righteous life of Christ, meaning that God sees them living the life they could not live consistently, choosing the path to life. He then sent his spirit to empower his children to walk the narrow path that leads to fullness of life now and eternal life of glory with God forever. The choice people, the choice, the choice people. The choice. The choice is ours. The choice is ours.

Speaker 1:

Moses said it, joshua said it, david said it. Remember last week? Well, I'm sorry, not last week, but you know the last show I spoke about what David said to Solomon. David said it too. So you see how it's still aligning with the word. You see how Jesus is still the same. The spirit of the Lord is here. You see that it's the spirit of the Lord that these transactions are happening through. If we do this, he will be just to do that. It is written Now again.

Speaker 1:

I always go back to the Old Testament and let's do Deuteronomy, chapter 30. If you're following along with me, let's go to the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 30, because it's one thing for me to say it, but it's another thing for you to see it for yourself. Okay, it says in the future, when you experience all these blessings and curses I have listed for you, and when you are living among the nations to which the Lord, your God, has exiled, you, take to heart all these instructions. If, at that time, you and your children return to the Lord your God, and if you obey with all your heart and all your soul all the commands I have given you today, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you. Even though you are banished to the ends of the earth, the Lord your God will gather you from there and bring you back again. The Lord your God will return to you, return you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will possess that land again. Then he will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors.

Speaker 1:

Verse six says and don't miss it. That's why I'm telling y'all I do love God so much, because I the next sentence, the Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants. So they so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live. The Lord, your God, will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate and persecute you. Then you will again obey the Lord and keep all his commands that I am giving you today. The Lord, your God, will then make you successful. Don't miss it, it's written. The Lord, your God, will make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock. He will cause your fields to produce abundant harvest for the Lord. Again, delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors. The Lord, your God, will delight in you If you obey his voice and keep his commands and decrees written in this book of instruction, and if you turn to the Lord, your God with all your heart and your soul.

Speaker 1:

If, if everybody got a choice, but he says, my children perish for lack of knowledge, they don't want to listen. Verse 11 says this command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you and it's not beyond your reach. It is not kept in heaven so distant that you must ask who will go up to heaven and bring it down so we can hear it and obey. It is not kept beyond the sea so far that you must ask who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey. No, the message is very close at hand. It is on your lips and it is in your heart, so that you can obey it.

Speaker 1:

Now, listen, today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the Lord, your God, and to keep his commands, decrees, regulations, by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land you are about to enter and occupy. But if you turn, but if your heart, not your head, not your head but if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long life, a long, good life, in the land you are causing, the Jordan to occupy. Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life so that you and your descendants might live. You can make this choice by loving the Lord, your God, obeying him and committing yourselves firmly to him. This is the key to your life. This is the key to your life. This is the key to your life, and if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, abraham Isaac and Jacob.

Speaker 1:

That's what the Lord is telling his children today. He's speaking to us. Listen. He hijacked Inside. Beauty, inspires right To get you a message. He's not playing games. He wants you to have life, and have it abundantly is what Jesus says.

Speaker 1:

See, when God opens up a door, no man can shut it. There's no side effects. So when God does it, there's limitless. We serve a limitless God, but too many people lean to their own understanding. Listen to me today Everybody's not equipped, everybody doesn't have the anointing.

Speaker 1:

But God raised these people up, these children of his, the ones that we speak about, the ones that we're speaking about today. They were born that way. Yeah, they were born that way. It was something on the inside of them that answered the call to them. His spirit spoke to the spirit that he has resting on us. And see, everybody can't see it, because, see, jesus came on the scene because nobody was doing what they were supposed to be doing, and not only that, but because God's plan was going to prevail regardless of anything. Regardless of anything. We talked about it in the last show, right, you know, it was David's son who was trying to take the seat, and it wasn't his seat to date. Okay, he was plotting, he was coming up and plotting against his brother, you know. And then he even tried to plot even some more by going through the mother Bathsheba. He couldn't convince Bathsheba and and when Solomon heard it, you already know what happened.

Speaker 1:

My point is this yeah, many plans we have in our hearts, but only your father's plans for your life is going to prevail. I said it the other day on the prayer call. I did. I said see, when God calls you, listen. Every time I think about when God calls you, I think about this song when Love Calls your Name, when love, when love calls your name. Y'all know this song. It's a whole deep but a great song.

Speaker 1:

But the point that I'm making is when God calls, are you going to answer. You don't have to be perfect, right, you don't? Jesus is the perfecter of our faith. Our faith is believing in him. He's the perfecter of it. We're not going to get it right all the time, people, we're just not. But his grace is sufficient. That's what he told Paul. He's right there to forgive you, but he wants you to believe honey. That's all it comes down to. It comes down to your faith.

Speaker 1:

And do you believe the prophets and the prophetess that the Lord sent? Believe the prophets and the prophetess that the Lord sent. Don't get me misconstrued. Jesus, a prophet, right? John the Baptist, a prophet, a man standing out in the wilderness, make way for the king who spoke about it, elijah.

Speaker 1:

Now, y'all know when I came in here not yet, no, isaiah. But you know, when I came in here today, I said we're in the book of Isaiah and I can't wait to share some things with you about the book of Isaiah. But you see how God got me in the book of Deuteronomy. You see how God got me in the book of first King. That's how your father works. My plans were to tell you this. He said no. So hear me by the voice, by the spirit of the Lord, hear me by the spirit of the Lord. You have a choice. Let's make that choice today. When you start to prioritize God, I'm going to challenge you. I'm going to challenge you, you know, I know you're going to hear this broadcast today.

Speaker 1:

Sunday starts a new week for most and Monday do for some. But I'm asking you, those who are listening to me, give God seven days. I just want you to taste and see. Taste and see, because when I tell you it's something, it's a taste that you never, you don't know, you don't ever want to not have that taste, trying to figure out how to say it. You're going to thirst for it, you're going to hunger for it, you're going to want it, you're going to want his word.

Speaker 1:

Think about it. Consistency is everything. Think about the story of the turtle and the hare. Okay, I think about this story because it reminds me of myself. If I could be honest. I'm just being honest. Okay, now, everybody's rushing and competing with one another, right, but you see the turtle's taking his time. The slow and steady win the race, taking his time.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know, god is taking his time with us as well. He fashioned us, okay, he shaped us out of iniquity. We're born in it. We're born into sin. So when people are trying to keep this perfect agenda, honey, why do you think?

Speaker 1:

Jesus came back on the scene? Because you couldn't keep the law. So if you couldn't keep the law that Moses gave, don't miss that. Moses said change hearts. Don't miss it because right then and there it's stated right there in the bible about your heart posture, and it came from Moses when Jesus came on the scene.

Speaker 1:

What is j, what is Jesus talking about your heart? So who's the spirit and operating? Who's the spirit operating y'all? It's the spirit of the Lord, spirit of the Lord. We're just here for a little time, not a long time, and we're here to do what the Lord says. We're here to spread the gospel. We're here to open the doors Of opportunities, to get to know. Look at the world, look at the cultivation, look at how it has evolved, and it's still evolving. What do you think will happen If you start to Start prioritizing God Like? What if it's real? Right, what if it's true? Okay, I know that it's true, I know that it's real, but I'm just gonna say this for your sake, because a lot, of, a lot of times and a lot of things Jesus did for the sake of the people right. See, there's a story. It's in Joshua. No, it's in uh 9.

Speaker 1:

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. Rabbi, his disciples asked him why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins, of his parents' sins or his parents' sins? Jesus answered and said it was not because of his sins or his parents' sins. Jesus answered this happened so the power of God could be seen in him. We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. We must quickly carry out the tasks plural assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming and then no one can work, but while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.

Speaker 1:

Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva and spread the mud over the blind man's eyes. He told him go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam, and Siloam means scent. So the man went and watched and came back, seeing his neighbors and others who knew him as a blind beggar asked each other isn't this the man who used to sit and beg? Some said he was and others said no, he looks just like him. But the beggar kept saying yes, I am the same one. They asked who healed you? What happened? He told them the man they called Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me go to the pool of slum and wash yourself. So I went and washed and now I can see. Where is he now. They asked I don't know. Where is he now. They asked I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Then they took the man who had been blind to the Pharisees, because it was on the Sabbath that Jesus made the mud and healed him. The Pharisees asked the man all about it. So he told them he put the mud over my eyes and when I washed it away I could see. Some of the Pharisees said this man Jesus, this man Jesus is not from God, for he is working on the Sabbath. Others said but how could an ordinary sinner do such miraculous signs? So there was a deep division of opinion among them. Sound familiar, sound like the world we're in right. Sound like where we are today. Sound like God is doing a new thing. He's the one that's doing it, he's the one that's operating. Let's keep going, because the spirit of the Lord is clearly here. It says but how could an ordinary sinner do such miraculous signs? So there was a deep division of opinion among them. Then the Pharisees again questioned the man who had been blind and demanded what's your opinion about this man who healed you? The man replied I think he must be a prophet. Uh-oh, I think he might be a prophet.

Speaker 1:

The Jewish leaders still refused to believe the man had been blind and could now see, so they called in his parents. Man, let me tell y'all something. This is the truth, this is the word of God, and this is how people are today. Let a miracle sign or a wonder appear out of nowhere Uh-oh Well, how did this happen? It's written in the word of God. Out of nowhere? Uh-oh well, how did this happen? It's written in the word of God. But these were the religious leaders who were questioning the very Messiah that was sent.

Speaker 1:

Listen, the Jewish leaders still refused to believe the man had been blind and could now see, so they called in his parents. They asked them is this your son? Was he born blind and if so, how can he see? His parents replied we know this is our son and that he was born blind, but we don't know how he can see or who healed him. Ask him. He is old enough to speak for himself. Did yes, she did yes, the parents did. I'm telling you, get into the word, you're going to start laughing. You're going to be like you know what 70, like for real, I know. So listen, his parents said this. Why do they say this? Because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders who had announced that anyone saying Jesus was the Messiah would be expelled from the synagogue. That's why they said he's old enough, ask him. That's why they said he's old enough, ask him.

Speaker 1:

So for the second time, they called in the man who was blind, who had been blind, and told him God should get the glory for this, because we know this man, jesus, is a sinner. I don't know whether he is a sinner. The man replied, but I know this. I was blind and now I can see. But what did he do do? They asked how did he heal you? Now, I'm gonna keep it a G, if I can keep, if I can give it a G with y'all. I would have answered the same way the blind man answered. I really would have, because for real, I just told y'all how this man healed me. Okay, but that ain't what he said Okay, let me tell you.

Speaker 1:

Verse 27 says look, the man exclaimed. I told you once, didn't you listen? Why do you want to hear it again? Wait for it, wait for it. Do you want to become his disciples too? I'm like yo then listen at the response. Cause I want, cause I want you guys now I'm laughing, I'm joking, but I want you to catch it.

Speaker 1:

Then they cursed him and said you are just his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. We know God spoke to Moses, but we don't even know where this man comes from, why. That's very strange. The man replied. He healed my eyes and yet you don't know where he comes from. We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. Ever since the world began, no one has been able to open the eyes of someone born blind. If this man were not from God, he couldn't have done it. I want to pause right there because the Holy Spirit just spoke a word to me. I'm excited. I get excited when he speak. Who was speaking? Who was speaking? Was it the blind man speaking or was it? The spirit of the Lord is here. I'm just saying it was just. It was Jesus that he received the blessing from right. Oh, I don't know, I'm just saying it was Jesus.

Speaker 1:

What does the Bible say when you receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, hallelujah, you receive the prophet's reward. What had Jesus just done and what is this man experiencing, and why is he speaking to these people so bold? After all, listen to what they say to him. You were born a total sinner. Are you trying to teach us? And he got thrown out of the synagogue. Are you trying to teach us and he got thrown out of the synagogue? Don't miss it. That's church folks today. Yep, if I'm stepping on toes, I'm trying to. Okay, let's go to verse 35.

Speaker 1:

When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked Do you believe in the Son of man? The man answered who is he, sir? I want to believe in him. You have seen him. Jesus said and he is speaking to you. He is speaking to you, jesus. Yes, lord, I believe. The man exclaimed and he worshiped Jesus. Then Jesus told him I entered this world to render judgment, to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind. Some Pharisees who were standing nearby, heard him and asked are you saying we're blind? If you were blind, you wouldn't be guilty, but you remain guilty because you claim you can see. I'm going to stop right there. The spirit of the Lord is here. Yeah, I feel him in the atmosphere. Yeah, I do. It's real. I love him, he loves me and, more importantly, he loves you.

Speaker 1:

You pray for what you're in right now. What do I mean? Well, anytime you start seeking God's face excuse my language all hell breaks loose. Why? Because when a word goes forth, the enemy comes immediately to steal it If you let him. But see, now I've given you all the PSA. That's my public service announcement today. This is brought to you by the spirit of the Lord. Right, I'm just Stephanie L Harrison and I'm just doing what he told me to do. Now this word is going forth. Those who hear it. I pray that it speaks to your spirit. I pray that it speaks to your heart. I pray that you understand that when you start praying, god starts shaking things up in your life in order to bring you in alignment with where he wants you to be. Ok, stop resisting, stop fighting. You're not fighting who you call an enemy. It ain't the enemy. You're fighting your father. See, when you start getting into the word, guess what he'll do? He'll change your heart. He'll change your heart. I'm going to leave you guys with this word that I wrote on Facebook the other day. I was just.

Speaker 1:

I was in my house and I was thinking about the song. Do you Believe in Magic? And this is what popped in my head. Do you believe in his promises? I sure do, especially when you are the living proof. It is written you guys have an amazing day on purpose. Know that God has his hands on you, no matter what your situation is. The antidote to the problem is your father, his son, and he will change every aspect of your life and he will give you a new heart, just like he did with Ezekiel. I love you, guys. Y'all have an amazing day On purpose Peace. I'm ready to go, ready for more. I'm ready for new Like a straight up start. You already know I'm ready for new Like a straight up stone.
