Prepared Hearts, Faithful Hands: Living Matthew 25 Today
Midnight never sends a calendar invite. We open Matthew 25 and get real about what “oil” actually means: a living, daily intimacy with God that you cannot borrow, bluff, or buy at the last minute. With Prophet Stephanie and her son Tylan in the studio, the conversation moves from the parable of the ten virgins to the talents, tracing a clear line from honest prayer and Scripture to courage, stewardship, and fruit that lasts.
We talk about building oil through simple, consistent habits—reading the Word to meet a Person, telling God the truth in prayer, and choosing community that sharpens rather than flatters. Tylan shares how fear once kept him from using his gifts, and why obedience opened capacity, favor, and peace. Together, we unpack how delay can be divine, why private victories prepare public assignments, and how pruning forms patience and strength when life pressures peak. The message is practical and personal: your gifts aren’t trophies; they’re tools to serve people and bring God glory.
We also touch the tension between belief and behavior. Belonging to God rests on promise and faith, yet real faith reshapes our steps. Fruit becomes the evidence—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control—especially under pressure. If you’ve been trying to look ready instead of living ready, this talk will help you trade image for intimacy and excuses for stewardship.
Listen if you’re hungry to grow, tired of surface-level religion, or wondering how to make your yes to God practical. Then share it with someone who needs a nudge to pick up their lamp and start filling it. Subscribe, rate, and leave a review to help more listeners find the show—and tell us: what’s one habit you’ll change this week to keep your lamp burning?
New, new, new, everything new, new, new, new, new, new, everything new. I'm ready to go.
SPEAKER_00:Hello, hello. It is Prophet Stephanie. You're now listening in to Inside Beauty Inspires, where we motivate, encourage, and inspire through biblical principles. I have a special guest joining me on today. None other than the most handsome, beautiful son of mine, Tylen Fowler.
SPEAKER_03:How y'all doing today? Glad to be back again.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, Tylen, how are you doing today? I'm so happy to see you. You know, you've been off at college, you've been down in Lander. How's your semester going so far?
SPEAKER_03:Semester's going way better than last year.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Don't you?
SPEAKER_03:Grade's looking better, alignment's better. I feel like I'm walking in my purpose a little bit, which I learned actually we all have the same purpose, which is to glorify God, but we all have different callings.
SPEAKER_00:So Amen. Well spoken, well spoken. Well, it you know, it really does leads uh lead me into introducing what we're gonna be speaking about on today, Tyler. You know, um Matthew 25 is one of those books that, you know, we're able to see so many things through. And, you know, it reminds us that Jesus is coming back. And the question is, will you be prepared? I think we should just dive into this chapter together and break it down in a way that hits home. What you think?
SPEAKER_03:I agree a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_00:Now, Jesus, you know, Jesus came to set the captives free, is what I like to tell people, but there's a story behind it, okay? And um, I I like to go to Matthew 25 so that we can understand exactly what this word is saying on today. So, would you like for me to go ahead and read?
SPEAKER_03:Yes, ma'am.
SPEAKER_00:All right, here we go. Matthew, we're gonna stop. I'm gonna read from verses 1 to 13, verses 1 through 13. And this is the NLT version. Then the kingdom of heaven would be like 10 bridemaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. The five who were foolish didn't take enough oil of oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, they were aroused by the shout, Look, the bridegroom is coming. Come out and meet them. All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones asked the others, please give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out. But the other replied, the others replied, We don't have enough for all of us. Go to the shop and buy some for yourselves. But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside calling, Lord, Lord, open the door for us. But he called back. Believe me, I don't know you. So you too must keep watch, for you do not know the day or the hour of my return. You don't know the day or the hour of his return. Tylen, let's talk about it. Let's unpack this chapter. Okay. Because he's saying something, ain't it?
SPEAKER_03:I definitely agree with that.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. All right, so let's talk about it. What you what's your take? So far, so good. What you what's your take so far on this?
SPEAKER_03:I'd say my take is I like how it starts off with wise and foolish. You have five that are wise, and you have five that are foolish. I think that can be the beginning because it's important to walk in wisdom rather than to walk in foolishness. Amen. To walk in the way of the Lord instead of walking in the way of the world. And we emphasize that a lot here because that's just such a big thing nowadays. But I think it really just leads down to like not delaying our relationship with God and stop saying we have time. Like at the end, it says, Therefore be alert, because you don't know either the day nor the hour. So it's like the oil represents the presence of God, the Holy Spirit. So some people look ready dressed up in church clothes, but there's no oil on the inside.
SPEAKER_00:All right. Talk about it now, because it's the truth. Now that is the truth. If the if now say it again.
SPEAKER_03:The oil represents the presence of God, the Holy Spirit. Some people look ready dressed up in church clothes, but there's no oil on the inside.
SPEAKER_00:Well, you know, let's talk about it a little bit further because I think you make a perfect point in this aspect. You know, the oil is your relationship with Him. You can't borrow it, you must build it. And when the crack came at midnight, the wives were ready, but the foolish ones had to go buy more. And they missed the door. You know, it's sad, you know. I'm gonna go to my commentary for a moment just to take a look and see what it says here. So it says, in chapter 25, Matthew recounts several parables that Jesus told related to his discussion of the future events foretold in chapter 24. First is the parable of the ten virgins. As was the custom of the day for wedding ceremonies, the groom would go to the bride's home and take her to the marriage feast. A great procession would accompany them, and then all would enter enter into the feast. The ten virgins were bridesmaids, waiting for the groom to arrive. According to Jesus, five of them were foolish and five were wise. And this was demonstrated by their preparation or lack of. You said that the oil represents the presence of God, the Holy Spirit, and that some people look ready, dressed up, but there's no oil inside. How do they obtain the oil? How do they get this oil that they need? Because at the end of the day, here's the bottom line: we all need this oil. We all need it. What's the way for us to actually get it?
SPEAKER_03:Personal relationship with God, intimacy with Jesus Christ. I feel like a lot of times we rely on our parents, friends, or even our pastors for our relationship with God. But we really need one ourselves because if we don't have one ourselves, then we can reflect, try to reflect God's image, and it's like you're not gonna be reflecting the real thing because how would you know the real thing when you don't have a personal relationship with him?
SPEAKER_00:I know how you well, that ain't how they're gonna know it, but this is what they do. They imitate. If you think about who Lucifer is, if you think about who Satan is, he was the angel, the light barrier. He carried the light, right? But he exalted himself and he wanted to be like God. So you gotta understand, in this earthly realm, what you think he's still trying to do? Be like God.
SPEAKER_03:And imitate, imitate God to draw people away from God.
SPEAKER_00:And there's nothing like the real thing. You know, when you start studying the word of God for yourself, Tyler, does it not make a difference?
SPEAKER_03:Makes a huge difference.
SPEAKER_00:It it makes the difference. It is the difference between between those that don't seek him and those that do seek him. Let's keep going. So you said, you know, the oil represents the relationship with the Father. What are some ways to get close to God?
SPEAKER_03:Pray more. Read your Bible. It says in John that the Word is God. Like the Word became flesh. Come on. So now it became Jesus. So when we read the Word, we actually see characteristics and who Jesus is, his life. In order to know Jesus, you have to read the, you have to read him. It's like you have to read the word. Amen. And then it comes along with prayer. Prayer is such a big thing as well. Because I've always prayed, but recently I've actually like got on my knees and just actually cried out, been very truthful with God about a lot of things. Amen. And he loves when you're truthful because now he knows. Well, he already knows how you really feel, but when you come to him, oh God, thank you for this, thank you for that. But in reality, it's like, God, I'm kind of irritated with you right now. God, I'm very confused right now. Like, what's going on? When you come to him in truth, now he can actually work in your life and you can actually see him a little more, answer those truthful prayers. And the next thing is community. Like you don't want to rely on somebody else's relationship, but if you don't know it, you can also ask people to help you through it. Amen. Try to have a great support system, godly friends, because the more you hang around godly friends, the more you will start to imitate what they do, the more you'll start to change your life around. Like bad character. No, bad corruption builds bad character. So who are you really spending time with? Like good people or corrupted people?
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Amen. Well, the wise walk with the wise. That's what the word says in the book of Proverbs. And you're right, bad company does corrupt good behavior. You know, so you have to walk with those that are wise in community. I'm glad you touched on that. It's such an important piece of the puzzle. Um, let's keep going here. It says every person in the possession possession um would have been expected to have his or her own oil. But when the groom's appearance was announced in the middle of the night, the fool the foolish virgins begged the wise to give them some of their oil because their lamps were going out. And the wise, however, had only enough for themselves. So when the foolish virgins went to buy oil, they missed the groom and were locked out of the wedding banquet, no matter how they cried to be let in. Therefore, Jesus said, Be alert. Now, Jesus' parable is a description of Jewish believers during the Great Tribulation. The wives will be spiritually prepared so that when the abomination of desolation takes place, they will be ready and sustained by the Lord until the kingdom reign begins. However, the foolish ones will make no such spiritual preparations. Then as a result, they won't enter into the blessingness of the kingdom and its reward. And though, and and though the parables speak of those during the tribulation, it serves as a warning to all. Don't wait until the last minute to be spiritually prepared because when you do, it will be too late. You know, it reminds me of going home to be with the Lord. I mean, that's exactly what this is. You do know that. To me, when I think about the wedding feast, I think about there is a banquet that we will be urging into when we leave this earthly realm. And either we're gonna be full of the oil or we won't have the oil. But do you see the emotion behind them being left behind?
SPEAKER_03:Yes. It's like, oh man, I wish I had timer. And then like when they say, can I borrow yours to get, man, what?
SPEAKER_00:Now, Tom, let me just let me just speak on that. Because look, y'all, when I first read that, I was just like, What? No. I wasn't really like, I don't, because I don't uh, you know what I mean? I don't try to sharing is caring. That's what I've been teaching my kids, you know, this whole time. So, but they were just like flat out, no. You gotta get the numb for yourself, right?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, and then this speaks about like how it was too late, and it is really about the last judgment, because a lot of people think we have time. That's foolishness to me. Because if you're wise, then you're gonna be ready because no one knows the time nor the hour. So if you think, oh yeah, I'll get ready in about five years, who says he's not coming back in two?
SPEAKER_00:That right that you're right.
SPEAKER_03:Hey, nobody's not coming back in two days, like you never know. That's why you need to stay ready so you don't have to try to get ready. Like, you just feel way more comfortable. But that delay shows how easy it is for us to be comfortable in what we're living in and lazy waiting for Jesus to return, but like we really don't have enough time. So don't delay your relationship.
SPEAKER_00:You know, I just had a revelation. You think about that when Jesus returns, we all are gonna be called home at some point in our life, right? So when we're when we leave this earth, that's where we're going. So we really don't know our expiration date. We really don't know the day or the hour of his return. We don't know when he's going to call us home. But it's important to get to know him. It's important to read your word so that you will be prepared spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.
SPEAKER_03:And another bad thing along with that is like people wait till it gets too serious. Like, oh my gosh, my life is going bad. Now I gotta let me turn to God now. That's great, but why won't you just turn to him while everything is going good still when you don't feel very hard times in your life, why are you still not trying to pursue a relationship with the father?
SPEAKER_00:You would think that people would see it, but I'm gonna tell you what I think it is. A lot of people don't see the realness of authenticity when it comes down to walking with God, so they see a facade, which leads to this next verses, the next verses here. Um, it says here verses 14 through 30. You what would you like to read?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I'll read.
SPEAKER_00:I'll read. Okay, cool.
SPEAKER_03:The parable of the talents. For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, he called his own servants and entrusted his possessions to them. The one he gave five talents to another two talents and to another one talent, depending on each one's ability. Then he went on a journey. Immediately, the man who had received the five talents went, put them to work, and earned five more. In the same way, with two earned two more. But the man who received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money. After a long time, the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. The man who received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said, Master, you give me five talents. See, I've earned five more. His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy. I'm gonna read that again. I like that. His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy. The man with two talents also approached. He said, Master, you gave me two talents. See, I've earned two more talents. His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy. The man who received one talent also approached and said, Master, I know you. You're a harsh man, reaping where you haven't sown, and gathering where you haven't scattered seed. So I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours. His master replied to him, You evil, lazy servant. If you knew that I reap where I haven't sown and gather where I haven't scattered, then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and I would have received my money back with interest when I return. So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him, and throw away his good for nothing servant into the outer darkness.
SPEAKER_01:Jesus.
SPEAKER_03:Aggressive.
SPEAKER_01:What what verse? That's verse.
SPEAKER_03:That's verse 30, uh that Christian standard, that Christopher Standard version, and throw this good for nothing servant into the outer darkness.
SPEAKER_00:Jesus.
SPEAKER_03:Where there will be weeping and gashing of teeth.
SPEAKER_00:Many are called.
SPEAKER_03:You were chosen.
SPEAKER_00:I'm talking about what you just read because listen. Listen. I mean, it's a real thing. You know, Jesus did tell a period. I mean, he's speaking to his people. It's not like he's not putting us on point and letting us know what's good, son.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we'll that's the thing. Like, we wouldn't even know what's good if we don't read the Bible. Like, a lot of people think they move in the right way. You have it all wrong, but you wouldn't even know until you got in here. So once again, I encourage y'all, go read the word, literally. But I want to start it off with saying, what does the master represent? He represents God. You know, I think that's that's self-explanatory. Yes. The servants, they represent us. Okay, I like that. Us as a people. And I think the talents represent us, our gifts. The talents represent our gifts. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00:That's exactly what it does.
SPEAKER_03:Right? He said, Well and well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy. He was excited when he seen that I gave you five talents and you went and go, you went to go make more. Yeah. But share your master's joy. God is telling us that well, he expects us to glorify and spread using the gifts he's given us. Amen. Amen. So we can go more make more faithful servants of him. Yes. Yes, yes. And I just like how he just says that. Like you were faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of many. That's like if you're a good steward over this thing, I can now give you something even greater because I see how you steward the little things. There's nothing for me to do but here. I get if you steward the little things, I have no reason not to give you anything else.
SPEAKER_00:Why wouldn't I give it to you?
SPEAKER_03:You know what I mean? Like you just proved to me you can steward this, so you can steward this.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you've you've you've given me something that I can hold on to. You're giving me, I can, I can trust you. Trusted vessels matter.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_03:It definitely does. And then along with that, you see how the man down there said he was fearful. I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. I think that speaks volume to a lot of us who feel like, oh, I'm scared to use this gift you've given me, God, so I'm gonna just hold it on. I'm gonna just hold on to it. Yes. He didn't give that gift to you for you, he gave that gift to you for others.
SPEAKER_00:You better speak. You know what I mean? Because he did. Because you know what? I heard something the other day. They said, um, I was watching TikTok and it, um, the person that they were speaking that was speaking, she said, um, that no, it was Dr. Lovey, he's a prophet. He said, Your anointing is not for you. Your anointing is to complete the assignment that God is giving you. So when there's an anoint anointing on your life, God has um God has a way of bringing those things out because they're not they're not for you. You know, the excuse, the excuse of the lazy servant, you know, this servant, it represents those who operate out of fear rather than faith. His perception of the master was wrong. He saw him as a harsh instead of gracious. How many people look at God as harsh instead of gracious?
SPEAKER_03:Too many people.
SPEAKER_00:So they don't understand that the master is, in fact, God, you know, we know Jesus is his son. And so fear caused them to be unproductive. Unproductive. Now, what do we see in in let's go back up here to the um to the verses uh 16 through um well this no 14 through 15. So you were, you know, when you were speaking, you were telling us that the man, the master represents Jesus. Well, did you say God or Jesus? Well, they're there's they're one.
SPEAKER_03:They're one.
SPEAKER_00:The Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, they're one.
SPEAKER_03:All the Holy Trinity for those that do not know.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Amen. And then you talked about the talents, the gifts, the opportunities and responsibilities that God entrusts each person with. You know, you have them, you know, when you get when you go to college and they're looking to you, God sees that you're using what He's giving you to empower, encourage, and motivate those that don't know. You know, understand what I'm saying? So the description, according to the ability, shows that God gives each person what they can handle. He knows our capacity. He knows how much we can, he knows what we what we're capable of, even when we don't know what we're capable of.
SPEAKER_03:Definitely. Like a lot of us, once again, going back to him having that fear in what God gave him, it's like, I'm I don't, even in our like I'm just gonna say it's a real thing. Yeah, in our generation, I'd be like, yo, God, I know you gave me this, I know you gave me teaching, I know you gave me leadership, maybe even like prophecy sometimes, but sometimes I really don't feel qualified to do the things that you've given me.
SPEAKER_00:Listen, Talin, the story of my life, searching for this is the story of my life. Because you don't never feel qualified. You know what I'm saying? Because here's the bottom line, we're all sinners. We're born in wrapped in iniquity, so we're not perfect. But, you know, when it comes down to tapping into the word of God, he is the perfecter of our faith. He is the one that can keep us on that straight and narrow. Now, let's talk about these first two servants because they represent faithful believers, right? Definitely. They represent those who use their gifts wisely for the Lord. Then the third servant symbolizes the fearful and unfaithful believers. Now, that's not so much saying that you, like how you said, you know, God, you give me all these things, but I don't really feel like I can do. In a sense, it's kind of saying the same thing because most people they don't move from that. They stay with that. Well, uh, they talk themselves out of everything that God has given them. Have you ever found yourself talking yourself out of anything that God is giving you? Or just being skeptical with it? Because I mean, you're you're in your at Land there.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. When I was when I was younger, I feel and younger for me could be like two years ago, man.
SPEAKER_00:Tylen act like he is about. No, right now. But you feel what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03:Um, when I was younger, and I could tell like there was a calling on my life that I just couldn't understand. I just didn't want to have that much weight. Like, I didn't want to be the reason somebody else's relationship either was good with God or bad with God. You know what I mean? And knowing that He's given me opportunities to teach people, to speak to people, to basically enlighten and encourage and inspire everybody else, I ran from that. Cause like, who am I to do that if I'm not a perfect man? But I realize that I can't, I'm not gonna be perfect. No one's gonna be perfect. So when once I actually realized that, and I only realized that from reading the word, praying, having godly community, and going back to if you have no knowledge, then you're you're gonna perish. Like you have to have knowledge so you can move in a great way, in a great sense. So I tried to speak myself out of ministry.
SPEAKER_01:Oh wow.
SPEAKER_03:I tried to, okay, God, I don't want to do that. And I told God, I was like, I'm gonna be real. I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that. I never knew this, y'all. Yeah, yeah. Because I've been, especially recently, like a lot of people's been telling me, oh yeah, ministry, oh yeah, pastor, oh yeah, apostle. Like, I'm peep, I'm I'm picking up the game, but it's like, guys, I'm trying to figure out everything else. Like, if anything, I'll put that on the back burner. If if if if I'm not gonna say no to God, I'll say, hold on, not right now. But when I realized that that came from me feeling like I wasn't qualified, that came from like a radical obedience type of thing. Like, I have to have obedience even when I don't know what's going on.
SPEAKER_00:Man, you say you better say it again because it's the truth.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, if you don't have obedience, like radical obedience, like that leads to favor to me. Absolutely. Obedience leads to favor on favor on your life. If I'm if me not saying yes, God, you know, me saying yes can open up so many doors for others to say yes. But we we're so selfish, and when God gives us something, we think it's for us. No. Yeah, that's not for us. And once I realize that me saying yes isn't just for me, but for everyone else, that made me really turn, okay. Yes, God, I'm gonna receive what you're giving me. I'm gonna do what you asked me to do. Hallelujah. Because not for my glory, but for yours. Amen. That's gonna bring more people closer to you. Amen. And now I'm looked at as not the what is he, what does he call this man? Wait a minute, y'all. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Well, you know.
SPEAKER_03:Good for nothing servant. What? Yeah, I do not want to be looked at as a good for nothing servant, someone who believes in God, but it's very unfaithful, very not moving how God wants him to move. I'm gonna move faithful. So my faith can encourage other people to have faith as well.
SPEAKER_00:I love, I absolutely love that, Tyler, because here's the bottom line. He's coming back, right? The master does return. And in this parable, the master did return. It says here, after a long time, the master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they used his money, how they used his gifts. So at the end of the day, we all have to give an account. And that's just, you know, it's speaking about Christ's return, right? There will be a day of accountability for how we use what God has entrusted in us. You know, I want to hear, just like you said, you don't want to hear you good for nothing uh servant. I want to hear well done. My good and faithful servant, you know. You have been faithful and handling in small amounts, so now we'll give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together. True story. Faithfulness in small things brings promotion and joy in God's kingdom. And God delights in rewarding those who stored it well. Let's celebrate shows the joy of eternal fellowship with the Lord. You know how it is when you get to heaven, you know how they talk about you get to heaven, you're gonna walk around heaven smiling all day, you know, excited and happy. There's no crying there, there's no sorrow there. And so, you know, when Jesus comes back, he's going to inspect the return on his investment.
SPEAKER_03:Literally. If you're down here, and I'll just keep going, I just keep looking at this text because like what he's what the master is calling this man, you evil lazy servant. Like, who just wants to get looked at as a evil, lazy servant because I'm being unfaithful and because I'm not moving when God tells me to move. That's what it's saying. I want to know, I want to know what's I want to know if I move, what's gonna happen. That's not for you. Like, one thing I sent it to I sent it to Tamaya um this morning. Yeah. Um, it's not essential for us to understand. The essential thing is our obedience. That's it, Tyler. That's the only thing that's gonna push us toward alignment, that's gonna push us in a right standing with God. So then he starts to now, okay, you're saying yes to me because you're supposed to, you're being obedient. Now I can start to give you understanding. If you try to look for understanding without being obedient, you're not gonna get anything.
SPEAKER_00:You're not gonna get anything, and your yes truly does matter. You know, um, it's in walking in alignment. You know, I'm gonna say this. It's in your belief, too. Because you gotta believe that he is who he says he is before he even can show you anything other than what you see. A lot of people go off a surface level sight. Surface level sight is a real thing. Not understanding that there's more to this life than surface level. Everybody has something on the inside of them. And I like to believe and like to think that you, Tyler, can help somebody pull out what's on the inside of them. I can help them pull something out on the inside of them. When you say I say yes to your will and to your way, if my yes is going to help free somebody else, then why not tell God yes? Why not get to know him? But the problem is people look at the world around them and they want to mimic the world, not knowing how the world is getting what they're getting, not knowing that there's a disconnect from the true father that has everything, and they miss it. God is giving you a gift, God is giving me a gift, God is giving the listeners, God has given you a gift. If you're not sure what that gift is, ask God to reveal it. He will talk to them about it, he will definitely do that.
SPEAKER_03:And and I can really go into that because I speak to I spoke on um, I went to a young adult group maybe two weeks ago and we talked about gifts.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_03:And in 1 Corinthians, you can see what he means. Like we all have different gifts, and no gift is better than the other because all of our gifts are feeling fulfilling for the body of Christ. You know what I'm saying? If you're doing something and you're doing something, me saying no could hold back what you have going on. Because when I walk in obedience and we're and this is at the body of Christ, now God can actually move. But if I have a group of five people and one person is saying no, you know how that you're jeopardizing those other four people. But like, even I had to realize, like I was selfish, like, dang, like, okay, me saying it ain't got nothing to do with y'all. That's just me. But no, if I say no, who knows what I'm holding back on you?
SPEAKER_00:Man, listen, what you're speaking about is a story I read about this week in Genesis about um, it was Joseph. Moses had sent 12 spies over to check, check out the land, right? You remember that story? Yeah, okay, he sent 12 people over to check out the land. The promised land. You know, two came back with a positive report, 10 came out with negative reports, you know what I'm saying? And the negative reports spread throughout all of the all of the children of the Israelites. All of them, they were all tearing the clothes, just sad, just upset in the world. Like, God, where are you? I could only that's why I know how God be feeling. I do. What you mean where I'm at? No, I've just been right here the whole time. Walking, you guys, he's giving you instructions, and this is what you see. Perspective is perspective is everything. And you can be looking at the same thing, Tyler, and see something totally different. So it's important to lock in. When you lock in, you see what God wants you to see. But if you're if you're not locked in, you're gonna see the same thing the world sees. You're not gonna be able to see the positives in any situation. You'll look at the negative before you look at the positive. And these these people went over there. They saw that there were giants over there. But Joshua and Caleb came back and was like, but with God on our side, we can win. We can't, we can take them. Well, it ended up the negative report ended up affecting all of everybody around all of the people in the camp. And so, you know, they didn't get to make it to the promised land because of their disbelief.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_03:Because belief is also gonna change action. But it it it's not like we're doing it for God's love, but we're doing it from God's love. We're doing it from seeing what he's doing for us. It's like, okay, I'm doing that because you're doing it, not because I need you to do something for me, but because of how good you've been to me. Yes, hallelujah. It starts from like us realizing that his ways are not our ways. At all. His thoughts are far, far above our thoughts.
SPEAKER_00:Man, we couldn't even, if we tried.
SPEAKER_03:I wouldn't understand a thing. I'd probably be just sitting, I'm talking about year, like 40 days, 40 nights, just sitting there, man. God, what's going on? I'm never gonna understand like his understanding for me. But I do know when I say yes, that he's gonna do things that I cannot see. Right. You know what I'm saying? Right, right, right. It's all gonna happen like away from my point of view because his thoughts are above. My thoughts, like he's gonna do something. I'm like, God, why are you doing that? Don't worry about what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_00:That part right there.
SPEAKER_03:It's not your job to worry, it's your job to follow me and be obedience.
SPEAKER_00:Listen, reminding me of another story where he tells a clap pot, the clay pot. Like, do you talk to your maker and tell your maker how to do? Do you tell the maker of you how that he's doing it wrong? No, you don't do that. It's in the book of Isaiah, but he gives so many examples. If he wants you, just like you just said, Tyler, he wants our yes. If we give God our yes, he's gonna come through and show us how to do everything we need to do.
SPEAKER_03:But if we're trying to figure him out, that's that's gonna lose you. It's gonna lose you every time. That's because like he might have a route for you that you don't understand, but it's the route for you that you need. Even though you don't understand it, don't mean it's not a good route.
SPEAKER_00:Well, sometimes it's fear. Most of the times it's fear instead of not understanding so much. Sometimes it's fear. But go ahead.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. And also that made me think of John 13 7. Because my okay, my my favorite verse as a kid, I remember it was Colatians 3.23. Oh, really? Yeah, I remember that because I've been seeing Colatians a lot. Like, that's something I read. I'm probably gonna read it again soon. What does it say? Colatians 3.23. Work for it's like work as if you're working for the Lord, not for man. Okay, okay, that's what that's what's up. That's the verse. And then I got to talking to somebody, I'm like, dang, what's my favorite verse now? Proverbs 16.3, one of my favorite verses. Is there another verse that's been on my mind a lot recently? John 13, 7. What does John 13 say? What does John 13 7 say? For you do not understand now, but later you will.
SPEAKER_01:Hallelujah. You better say it.
SPEAKER_03:Really think about that, like, okay, so God is telling me right now. He's telling you for the ones that are confused, for the ones that are like, what's going on? Listen up, you guys. He is telling you, you are not gonna understand what I'm doing right now.
SPEAKER_00:You not.
SPEAKER_03:It's not your job right now.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:That's not your job at all right now. I'm not giving you that. I love you. I'm giving you obedience. I'm giving you love. I'm showing you how you're supposed to be moving. So just follow me. Yes. And then it says, comma, later you will. It's about you will you will understand later. Yes. You know what I'm saying? Like Thais says in Romans 8.28, everything works for the good of those who love me. Yes, yes. Just because you're going through like a tough patch right now, or just because you're going through lack of understanding, God, I don't know what you're doing. That does not mean he's not there. That does not mean he's not working. He is gonna, he's doing everything he's doing right now for later, for need gratification. Yes, for what's gonna happen in your life. Yes, Tyler. That's one thing I started to realize. Amen. Delay is divine. Yes, it is. We want on our time and we want it now. We want it now. God, I want to understand now. God, I want this now. No, it's not about that. Because when you get that now, just how he says up there, you were faithful over a few things. I'll put you in charge of many things. If you're not gonna be ready to steward what you're asking God for now, he is not gonna be able to give you bigger things until you get over the small thing he's trying to teach you.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Amen. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, you're on fire. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03:I'm giving the action. I can't even relate that back to David because he's gonna be a good one. Yeah, come on, Sal. And I just I got something tattooed on me. My mom knows about it. I don't know what she does. But it says private victories. And I got that tattoo because of all the private victories David won before he had to fight Goliath. Him fighting the lion, him fighting all these things. You know what I'm saying? Being a shepherd to these sheep. These are private victories he had to conquer in order to defeat Goliath. That's when you think about that. When you actually figure out, okay, God, I need to conquer this before I can get to this. You stop wanting to know, God, why are you doing this? No, just follow me. Just follow me. Don't ask no questions. When you ask questions, you start to get confused. Stop asking me stuff. Like, don't ask me. Just tell me.
SPEAKER_00:You want to know the details. You want to know the blueprint. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03:That is not your job right now.
SPEAKER_00:No, here's the thing. He gave us a blueprint. He gave us the Bible. We have the word of God. And see, the prop that, and that's the problem. People not tapping in. When you're not tapping into the word, you will literally miss it. Tell him when those of the things that he knows if he was not tapping in, he's tapping into what thus says the Lord. That's how he knows. And I'm gonna tell you, I'm glad you said that. That's your favorite verse because do you have enough faith to believe that it's gonna all work out at the end of the day? Do you have enough faith to believe that what's written in this word will come to fruition? Do you have enough faith to believe that? God says, as for wisdom, he'll give it to us. We gotta have wisdom to navigate in this world. But most importantly, we need to have his son. We have to have eyes to see and ears to hear. And the only person that can open up our eyes and open up our ears is our Father. So it's important to seek his face. It's important to get into this word. It's important to read the scriptures because you're going to learn more and more. And just like you said, you gotta have the faith to believe. And private victories is God, I call it on, on, I call it on-site training. That's what I talked to the ladies of ISI. Shout out to the ladies of ISI this morning. I talked to them about this morning because a delay is not a denial. You just said it. Divine timing is everything till you have enough patience, willpower to wait on the Lord, to allow God to show you something that He's doing it. It doesn't have to make sense, and that's the biggest issue. It's not going to. It's just not going to. A lot of things in my lifetime, I just said yes to God blindly. When it came down to this prayer call, I said yes. Did I think people were gonna? I didn't know how who was gonna be on there. Who gonna listen to me? But I had enough faith to believe that if I do what God is asking me to do, He's gonna bring the people. And guess what he did? Brought the people.
SPEAKER_03:That's not punishment. It's a purpose within those things that you're going through. Absolutely. You know what I mean? And that purpose is to prune you. Absolutely. Get all that negative stuff, ring that out, wring that sin out of you, wring that hate out of you, that anger, that impatience, all those things. You don't ever know that until you seek his faith. Seek his face. And then when you seek his face, you start to get more faith. When we get more faith, you start to do more works from that faith. Everything leads onto that. And then you realize, God, thank you for pruning me. Because back to John 13, 7, I don't understand what you're what I'm going through at this time. Yes. But it'll make sense at a later time when I look back, dang, God, I would have never got through what I've got through this this time two years ago if I didn't go through everything I went through during that two year span. Yes, he was preparing you. Exactly. And within that, we get closer to God within all that. We mature during the trials. Absolutely. That's what I talked to. I talked to a high school about that maybe like a month ago. Yeah. Like we're we we mature during that trial. It's not about what it's not about after the trial. After the trial is great. That's gonna matter a lot because you're gonna have wisdom and stuff like that. But when you're going through a trial, God is maturing you through it. Absolutely. He wants to meet you through it. God wants to show you all who He is during that trial. Yes. You know what I'm saying? Yes. So that that makes it like okay, boom. And then even onto that, um, our feelings aren't that like aren't dictating if a season is good or bad. Come on. Just because you feel like this is a bad season doesn't mean it's a bad season. That's just how you feel.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, because you're not looking at it from it, you're looking at it from a human perspective.
SPEAKER_03:Exactly. And God allows you to go through a season because he knows that it's gonna happen for your good if you're being obedient, if you're following him, without ever, oh my God, God, I'm doubting you so much, I'm doubting you so much. It takes a mustard seed of faith. That's it. When you have that mustard seed of faith, all right, God, what's gonna happen after this season? I'm ready. I'm ready. But also, I'm ready to meet you through it. I'm ready to get it. I'm ready to see you in it, yeah. Yeah, I'm ready to see you in this trial show up for me. Yeah. I know it wasn't me, it was you. That part. You know what I'm saying? Because I couldn't have got through it if it wasn't for you. Amen. Hallelujah. And it was you. And even onto that, because I'm so I'm just I'm just gonna.
SPEAKER_01:Hey, listen, I'm gay. Go ahead, boy. You on fire. Ain't for the getting interrupt. Y'all better pay attention. He's this boy saying something now. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03:Even on that, when I'm going through something, God's pruning me. Okay, I know it's gonna be bad. I mean, I know it's gonna be good eventually, even though I feel bad right now doesn't mean it's gonna be bad. We have to think of that too, as like I was saying earlier, your yes can be a breakthrough for somebody else. Hallelujah. Because when we're going through things and we're going through trials, it is not for you. No, it's not. What I've not been through, that ain't got nothing to do with what I'm what I got going on. That's for other people. But you don't be knowing it. You never know. You think, uh, why am I doing this? No, that's not true. Like, what is this? You know what I'm saying? You're gonna encounter somebody that just needed a word from what you just went through. You know what I mean? Yes, time. People don't know that. So when we go through trials for others, now we can help others grow closer to God.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_03:Not for our glory, but it all leads back to who? His glory.
SPEAKER_00:His glory. It's all about his glory. At the end of the day, we're supposed to reach one, teach one. That's where ISI comes into play. Iron sharpens iron, Proverbs 27, 17. It's a real thing. And the only way you're gonna be able to sharpen your peers, silent, is if you can stay connected to the club. The one that the one that knows all of the information and knows everything there is to know about this thing called life. We're all out here trying to get it right, right? But if we're trying to get it right without the word of God, yo, you're it's a you defeated.
SPEAKER_03:Lost.
SPEAKER_00:There ain't no other way around it. You know what I'm saying? You straight defeated because you ain't gonna be able to do it without the father, without him showing up in your life, without him showing you something that you've never seen before. Go ahead, Tom. Did you have some more GMs to drop on us?
SPEAKER_03:I got two more to go back to the talents. Um I I end it off with don't let fear keep you from using your gift. Don't be fearful of what God has placed in you, because now you're giving that fear more power than you're giving God.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you give it, you're making it seem like you, you trusting in, you're trusting in your inability versus trusting in the in his ability to show you something that you've never seen before.
SPEAKER_03:It's like you're worshiping the problem. God, dang, I know, I don't know, I can't do this.
SPEAKER_00:Well, actually, it's like you're acting like God ain't telling the truth.
SPEAKER_03:You feel me? Like you're second-guessing who God is.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, especially when it's written. It's written. And see, that's the thing that people don't understand, Tyler, is that you know, if you say you believe, then count it all joy, the trials, and tribulations you go through. If you say you believe, know that this too shall pass. If you say you believe, then open up your Bible and get closer to your father. Because again, a disconnect from him will have you looking at the world for help. And I'm telling you, the world, the world closes doors and open doors, and they can open them and close them whenever they want to. God opens doors and no man can close. And closes doors that no man can open.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, he'll put your name in rooms that your name doesn't even wrong in. Well, you don't feel like you close. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, because you, I mean, look, look at how many invitations you've gotten.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_00:Just based off of you saying, All right, Mom, I'm gonna get in this word. I'm gonna seek his face. You start seeking his face, people start to see that light in you without you even opening up your mouth. They know that there's something different about you because you stay grounded in the word of God. Your faith is on fire. Y'all hear him. He's speaking, he's speaking words that's going to get you excited about your journey with God, but you got to trust him in the process.
SPEAKER_03:Yes, and remember that God rewards faithfulness. It says in there, like that he well, well done, good and faithful servant. Yes. I will put you in charge of many things because you have been faithful over a few things. And then I love when you said that as it is written, if you want, if you trust in God, then you know the trials and stuff they are for a short time, not a long time. Right. That gives you, and that gives me, and I I'm I can only talk about myself. I can't talk about y'all. Come on, I'm speaking to myself. But for me, that gave me peace within the trials. Peace knowing that God is trying to do something in my life for not only me, but for others. So I'm gonna be peaceful and already knowing that it's gonna work out for my good. I'm gonna be peaceful already knowing that there's a plan on my life even after this. Yes, yes, yes. So that brings along peace too when you actually get that understanding.
SPEAKER_00:And you know what I mean. And look, I look, you you said something when you said that faithful. I'm gonna say fruitfulness. Fruitfulness, you know what I'm saying? You know, God is best fruitfulness. God is best for us to show up. What are you doing with what he's giving you? What do you do with what he's giving you? It matters more than you think. It matters. The faithful are rewarded. The Bible says, those who diligently seek my face find me when they see me with all their heart. God is faithful to do exceedingly above what you ask or even think. When you do things his way, instructions matter. The instructions that we've been given is to seek his face. The instructions we've been given is to read his word. You know, there's such a controversy going on right now. I don't know if you saw this in the um in the news, but with the church that you guys went to that time um in Georgia, what was it?
SPEAKER_03:Uh uh 28, wait. Yeah, 2819.
SPEAKER_00:2819. Yeah, what's the pastor's name?
SPEAKER_03:Uh Philip Anthony.
SPEAKER_00:Okay. So there's some controversy going on with Philip Anthony because, you know, he's speaking and preaching from the gospel. But, you know, I was watching on um TikTok where they were coming up against him like the true hero, the hero light.
SPEAKER_03:So I know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. And it disturbed me really bad. Because if you really knew the word of God, you would understand that when Jesus Christ came on the scene, he gave himself to everybody as a whole. You get a chance to believe him, I get a chance to believe him. Whether we on either side of the fence, we all have a chance to come to Jesus Christ. So whether you were born from Abraham's children, because that's the Israelites, okay? These are the Hebrews, okay? Whether you were born from this Hebrew family or not, you still have an opportunity because of Jesus Christ. When Jesus came on the scene, he gave us an opportunity to come to know him. So people got all this controversy going on about, you know, people choosing what they want to do in their life, choosing how they want to live their life. But at the end of the day, we all fall short of God's glory. All of us. Even those, even them, even Philip Anthony, Pastor Philip, even me, all of us do. We all need a savior. But for people to shun, you know, there's everybody's sided. Well, it's these people belong to God. These people, man, those who believe in Jesus Christ belong to.
SPEAKER_03:Everybody who, like, we all have an opportunity to do that.
SPEAKER_00:Everybody that belongs to him. You know, I was reading in Romans and I believe it's Romans 9 and Galatians 3, just giving us intel on what God says and what his word says. I don't mean to, you know, go off subject a little bit, but follow me. You know what I'm saying? Just follow my lead here. Okay, Romans 9. It says, With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and Holy Spirit confirms it. My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I'll be willing to forever be cursed, cut off from Christ, if that would save them. They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God's adopted children. And let me just pause right there, y'all. This is Paul speaking, saying that he would rather be, he would be willing to be forever cursed and cut off from Christ if that would save them. You know who else would sound like uh Paul, Moses. Moses said the same thing, not the same thing verbatim, but he was like, God, just, you know, raise my name from the book and save them. You know, because when you're that person that God is entrusted, like, say, for instance, he says, Tyler, I'm gonna put you in charge. I want you to lead my children. I want you to feed my sheep. You might not feel qualified to feed the sheep, but God has called you to do it. So you would think that the people would listen and follow you based off of the miracle and signs and wonders that are following those who actually do believe, right? But the children of Israel did not. They didn't, they believed God, but they sent their, Moses was right there in front of them, giving them the instructions on how to do things, but they still did whatever they wanted to do. So Moses is standing there like, it's in Exodus 32, I believe. Moses sitting there like, well, I would rather be for cut, take me out the book, the name, so that you can say it. God said, I wish I would. Take your name. He didn't say it like that, child, which I gotta go for. Y'all gotta go read it. But he didn't say it that way.
SPEAKER_03:But let me modern translation right now.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you know, you know, it's your mom. She's she's she's that person. But let me just back up because I ain't me to go off course, but whenever you get a chance, go read Exodus 32. You'll see that he feels the same way Paul is. Now listen, I'm in verse 4. It says, They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God's adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises. Now, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ himself was an Israelite as far as human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise. Amen. Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promise to Israel? No. For not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God's people. Being descendants of Abraham doesn't make them truly Abraham's children. For the scriptures say, Isaac is the son through whom your descendants would be counted. Though Abraham had other children too. This means that Abraham's physical descendants are not necessarily children of God. I'm sorry, but it's written in the scripture, and this is what it says, okay? And this is what Paul is saying. Only the children of the promise are considered to be Abraham's children. For God had promised, I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son. This son was our ancestor, Isaac. And when he married Rebekah, she gave birth to twins. But before they were born, before they had done anything good or bad, she received a message from God. This message shows that God chooses people according to his own purposes. He calls people, but not according to their good or bad works. She was told, Your oldest son will serve your younger son. In other words, the scripture, I loved Jacob, but I rejected Esau. Now are we saying then that God was unfair? Of course not. For God said to Moses, I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose. So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither work for it, we can neither choose it nor work for it. For the scriptures say that God told Pharaoh, I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth. So you see, God chooses to show mercy to some and he chooses to harden the hearts of others, so they refuse to listen. Well then you might say, Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven't they simply done what he makes them do? No, don't say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created to s what should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, Why have you made me like this? When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn't he have the right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage in? In the same way, even though God has the right to show his anger and his power, he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls, who are destined for destruction. He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those whom he shows mercy, who are prepared in advance for glory. And we are among those whom he selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles. Concerning the Gentiles, God says in the prophecy of Hosea, those who are not my people, I will now call my people, and I will love those whom I did not love before. And then at the place where they were told, You are not my people, they were there, they were they will be called children of the living God. And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out, And though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand on the seashore, only a remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth quickly and with finality. And Isaiah said the same thing in another place. If the Lord of heaven's armies had not spared a few of our children, we would have been wiped out like Sodom, destroyed like Gomorrah. What does all this mean? Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God's standards, they were made right with God. And it was by faith that this took place. And it was by faith that this took place. But the people of Israel tried so hard to get right with God by keeping the law, they never succeeded. Why not? Because they were trying to get right with God by keeping the law instead of trusting in him. They stumbled over the great rock in their path. God warned them of this in the scripture when he said, I am placing a stone in Jerusalem that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced. What do you think about what Paul is saying in Romans 9, Todd?
SPEAKER_03:They tried to be righteous by works and not by faith. And then he goes to say, the one who believes in him will never be put to shame. So it just leads that, it just leads back to it is by belief. And after Jesus came, okay, the people who couldn't get right, who wasn't from that lineage, everyone now has an opportunity to get right.
SPEAKER_00:Everybody has an opportunity to get right. And then, you know, it's just when I saw that, I was just like, yo, people really are lost for real because they're not reading the word. You want to know the truth. The Bible says, my children perish for lack of knowledge. They're looking at everything else but this book right here because there's so many negative connotatives that come along with it because of what it was used for. But when you get into this word, what we understand is that God's word will not return for it. You got faith for a reason. God has been speaking to you. God has been giving you miracles, signs, and wonders. And your source has been what? The Bible. You haven't looked outside the Bible for any other revelations of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So this book is truly about a king, his son, and his children. Us being the children of belief. It's in faith. It's in your faith in Jesus Christ. People have all of these rules and regulations that, you know, if you don't do this and if you don't do that, listen, if you don't believe, if you don't believe in his son, that's my fear. But see, fear of with fear of God is the first sign of wisdom. I didn't mean to go off in a tangent, but I feel like that's something important to speak about too, because we're talking about the word of God. We're talking about the belief. And people need to understand that it is written, it's in this word. Again, the more closer you draw closer to God, God's gonna draw closer to you. And he will reveal the mysteries, he will reveal the wonders, the miracles, and the signs. I ask him. The problem is people perish for lack of knowledge. They don't ask God.
SPEAKER_03:Right. And I also think alone lines of that, that like without without works, faith is dead. So yes, we have yes, we believe. Once we believe, if you truly do believe, then you're gonna have a heart transformation that now allows you to be obedient toward God. Right. I feel like there's a lot of people in this generation, in this society, and this entire world. Yes, I believe in God. That is great. You want, but you don't want to believe in God and continue to live like you don't believe in him. Amen. So if you believe in God, then allow that to transform your heart and now walk in obedience.
SPEAKER_00:Because your whole attitude would change.
SPEAKER_03:Exactly.
SPEAKER_00:The way you see things will change. You know, people stay the same. They don't think they can evolve. But that's just it. When you you can't do it by yourself, you can't change yourself. But when you invite the Holy Spirit into your life, open your heart and allow him to come in, he will transform you from the inside out. And you will want to know more and more about who he is. You will want to follow him, you will want to seek him because you'll know that it's not a joke. This is very serious. People just don't take God serious.
SPEAKER_03:Yes, and they need to take God serious because that belief is powerful, but belief without you changing who you without him changing you. Amen. That that what is that gonna do for you when it's time? God, I Lord, I uh what what did he say? I don't I don't know you. Depart from me. Depart from me. I never knew you. Yeah, you believe in me, but do you did you try to build an intimate relationship with me if you believe in me? You know what I mean? Yeah. If you really believe in somebody and you love somebody, you're gonna do everything in your power to please that person. You wanna please God. You're never gonna be able to live perfect and live like Jesus. Yeah. But it's about striving for it, though. Right, definitely.
SPEAKER_00:Well, yeah, you get you become better and better daily. You know what I'm saying? Like nobody decisions daily decisions. Daily bread. Yeah. Daily bread. This is our daily bread, and it's the bread that has made the difference in my life. That's why I'd be like, you know, check my footwork. You know, look at the way I walk. You done, again, this is my son. He's been with me.
SPEAKER_03:Like, check my accolades, you know who I am. Yeah, that's what I mean.
SPEAKER_00:Like brush my shoulders off. You know what I'm talking about? I'm just trying to say, you know what I'm saying? But at the end of the day, when it's all said and done, God has a blessing with your name on it. God has a plan for your life. Jeremiah 29, 11 says, I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper, you to give you a hope in a future. If you don't put your trust in the Father for Him to do that, how can you get the plans? And if you don't know the word of God, how can I mean listen, I don't not, I don't know, people just say, you know, it don't take all that, but for me and my house, it did. You see, this is my fruit. Talent is gonna be a part of the fruit that I'm producing due to the words that I'm speaking into his life, then he's gonna have fruit. See, that's what it's about. You can tell by the fruit who a person is. Amen. So again.
SPEAKER_03:That's the evidence.
SPEAKER_00:Say it again.
SPEAKER_03:That's the evidence. You tell a person, you tell a person not by what they say, but by their fruit they bear.
SPEAKER_00:There you go. There you go.
SPEAKER_03:Talidence. Tyleness. Are you walking in what you're saying?
SPEAKER_00:That's it.
SPEAKER_03:Are you patient? Are you kind?
SPEAKER_00:Are you kind?
SPEAKER_03:Are you do you have self-control?
SPEAKER_00:Are you loving?
SPEAKER_03:What did you say? Forbearance.
SPEAKER_00:Forbearance, yeah, because you're gonna go through suffering.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, you're gonna and you you better find joy within that. I'm telling, I'm telling you, because if you think me getting right with Jesus is gonna, God, that's gonna happen to me. You is lost, bro. I promise you. When you get closer to God, you become a bigger enemy. I mean a bigger target for the enemy. You do, you do. And now you have to learn how to walk through that and with God when you're going through those type of trials.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, that's it. Well, look, Tylon, you know, time is really catch- you know, time done got away from us because we've really been on one right now. But listen, you know, my words of encouragement to leave uh with you listeners, um, those that are listening in, listen, get your oil. You don't want to be without your oil. Read your scripture, read a chapter a day, you know what I'm saying? Ask God to bring you around wisely, counsel, ask him to put you in the right community. If you feel like you're not in the best community, or you're not able to see God, or you're not able to see the things that me and Tylen um are talking about, pray and ask the Father, and He will open up doors, He will align you with the right people at the right time. What's your advice to the people? Uh level Leave him with a word, Tyler. You be, hey, Tylen was on one today.
SPEAKER_03:Leave him with a word.
SPEAKER_01:Leave him with a word. Hey, give the people a word. They need a word.
SPEAKER_03:My word is, and I've been having this idea because I know when I do start my own podcast, I want to leave off the episode about the three C's. It's three C's that I got in my head. So I'll leave y'all with stay connected, stay committed, and stay consistent when it comes to following Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Well, y'all have heard from Tyler, my oldest son. You know, he's doing his thing. I'm so proud of him. I love that. I love that. I love that. Listen, I hope you guys have enjoyed the show just as much as I have. Listen, lock in, get to know your father, understand that he has a plan for your life and he wants you to succeed in it, but you can't do it without him.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, please do not delay your relationship with Jesus either. Yeah. Do not delay it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and the delay does not mean denial.
SPEAKER_03:Delay is divine.
SPEAKER_00:Amen. Amen. Well, listen, we enjoyed you guys. Have an amazing day. Tylon, thank you so much for coming in. Tylon came all the way from Greenwood just so he can sit with his mom and record. I just love that little boy of mine. He says he's a man, but hey, he's growing up.
SPEAKER_03:Grown man. Growing man out here.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, and you know what? Before we leave, Tylen, you are an actual practitioner. Oh, yeah. Tylon's a practitioner, right?
SPEAKER_03:Shout out Stretch Zone. Um, stretch practitioner, got my certification. Been been doing good, man. Been stretching people. Y'all need to get stretched out, let me know. And also, this might be a surprise to my mom, but and it might be funny. But also, somebody taught three people talking to me about having um getting my massage certification. So that's been something I've been thinking about as well. Pete Montec offers a class, might think about taking it.
SPEAKER_00:I think that I think you could. Hey, I ain't I'm not mad at Shake. I think that you should do it. I think that you should evolve in all of the spectrums when it comes down to exercise science. Amen. Amen. Well, listen, you guys have an amazing day on purpose, peace.
SPEAKER_02:I'm ready to go. Ready for more. I'm ready for new. Like a straight out the stump. You already know. I'm ready to flow. I'm ready to move. The oldest thing.
