Welcome to Real Talk With Reginald D. Hey, what's up, fam? It's Reginald D. You know, I was sitting back reflecting over my life the other day, which I do from time to time, and one of the things that was very challenging to me was raising up without a father in my life. And, you know, I think that's one of the things that really could have been detrimental. So God put it on my heart to say something to kids out there that's growing up without a father. To every kid out there who's growing up without their father, listen to me. It's not your fault. His absence is not a reflection of your worth. You are not abandoned. You are appointed, appointed to rise, appointed to be greater, appointed to break the cycle. I know what it feels like to wonder why he wasn't there, to feel the ache of a missing voice, a missing presence. But I also know this, God never left you. And where your earthly father fell short, your heavenly father stepped in. He's been covering you. guiding you and molding you for a purpose so powerful that even the pain can't block it. You don't have to be bitter to be better. You don't have to repeat what hurts you. You can be the one who rewrites the story, who loves deeper, leads stronger, and lives fuller because you chose to grow from the pain instead of shrink from it. So to every kid who's felt the sting of a fatherless life, you are enough. Remember that. You are seen. You are chosen. And your future has more promise than your past has pain. Keep showing up. Keep shining. And when it's your turn to leave, whether it's in your family, your career, or your calling, leave with love because you know what it feels like to live without it.
