Be Something More
Be Something More is not a typical personal development podcast. This isn’t about chasing after your goals, but rather the decision to embody the MORE that you already are. This is an environment for continuous self discovery to unlock our greatest potential.
My name is Megan and I have been on a self mastery journey for 4 years. I started focusing on personal development in 2020 when the world shut down, beginning with building consistency with my fitness. After several months, God had graced me with the opportunity to study under the best mentors, growing in leadership communities with high performing, conscious leaders where I continue to learn valuable principles that I apply into my life and transform my mind, my body, community, and continue to deepen my relationship spiritually. Through this journey I have learned that we are more than just a body and do have the capability to create our lives rather than just being victim to it. My belief is this platform will serve as a way to grow this message, share this message, and give us tools to continue to experience this message.
Thank you for BEING here. Not just for listening to this podcast, but for being here. Alive. The only way that we can truly experience the love of God is through one another.
I am excited to grow with you and watch how this journey unfolds.
Welcome to Be Something More!
Be Something More
Why Our Closest Relationships Are The Most Difficult
Our most difficult relationships are typically the relationships closest to us. And I think God did that for a reason. How we treat and perceive the people around us, gives us a direct reflection of how we can unconsciously treat and perceive ourselves.
Difficult relationships may actually be a gift to us. They give us the best opportunity to grow in our personal development. They give us the best opportunity to practice The Golden Rule.
"Do unto others as you'd have them do onto you."
A teaching that is the most challenging teaching to apply. Especially during times of high emotions, and trying to defend what you deem to be justice.
In this podcast episode we discuss this topic further and share perspectives with high hopes of inspiring you to turn to love in the times where you want to choose the opposite.
