Mediumship: a practice where individuals, called mediums, claim to act as intermediaries between the living and the spirit world.
Claireaudience: the supposed faculty of perceiving, as if by hearing, what is inaudible.
Clairevoyance: the supposed faculty of perceiving things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact.
Evidential Mediumship: a form of spiritual communication where a medium provides evidence that supports the identity and connection of spirits with loved ones on Earth.
Sitter: In mediumship, a "sitter" is the person who participates in a reading or séance with a medium and are the recipient of the messages transmitted by the medium. They are the individual for whom the medium is working to connect with the deceased.
