On today's episode, your amigos talk about the new updated LLPA (Loan level Price Adjustments) matrix that goes into effect May 1st 2023. These changes were announced back in January by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). The FHFA was established by the Bush administration back in 2008 to over see Fannie Mae and Freddie MAC, as well as other banks that are part of the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB). FHFA was created to also help restore confidence in the mortgage market after the aftermath of 2008.
