In this podcast up back before
Speaker 2another week. And um, what I want to definitely go ahead and do is start the episode off this week with a little bit of gratitude. And by saying that I asked to just want to go here and , and think everybody who has been listening from day one and or if you are are new to the podcast, I definitely wanna go ahead and tell y'all I appreciate you for giving me your hour sometimes two hours out of your day, just, you know what I'm saying. Listen to a lot of the shit that we'd be talking about or I'm just on here talking about myself. Um , I know that there are millions of podcasts. I think the last update was like 2.3 2.4 and I'm just grateful that you guys are actually taking the time out of your schedules, your days out being parents and professionals and some jackasses just sit down and listen to another fellow jackasses lay his burdens down to get his rocks off about certain shit that's going on now here in the world. I appreciate it cause you don't have to say Andrew or listen to anything. I appreciate all the feedback and I just want to tell y'all, we got a lot going on. We got a lot, a long way to go and we're just gonna continue to have fun. Give you these jokes, get these labs and I'm not going to be safe with any of our content. You know what I'm saying? Are told people in the beginning that we want to be responsibly irresponsible when it comes to doing this podcast. So I think we've done a solid job. I think we have a lot of room for growth and you know what I'm saying? There's bounds and bouncing of the places that we haven't been yet. So, and I'm anxious to get there. So once again, just give you look gratitude to start the episode off. Thank you so much. So, so much. But I want to go ahead and get this week started off with um, Halloween just passed. And um, I must say that a lot of y'all did some hell of a jobs at home as something y'all costumes. I was looking at how the way more so for the comedy when it comes to the costumes, I've seen people dressed as precious. I seen a lot of people who dressed as, you know what I'm saying? Mary J Blige, you know what I'm saying? I just see people just dressing some funny ass outfits. You know what I'm saying? I seen people dressed as filters , seeing people dressed up as, you know what I'm saying? Michael and Janet Prince and Beyonce and Hove and you know what I'm saying? This shit was actually somebody, I'll put a lot of time into this shit, but I think the best Halloween costume I see might've been Gabrielle union. The fact that 20 years apart in the sin still looks at God damn. Same way. It's impressive to me. Like their phrase, black don't crack is some serious shit. Like she put on her bringing on outfit from 99 she put up a picture and then she put it on for this Halloween. I'm like, shit. There was no drop-off. So definitely Gabrielle union was one of the best things. I'm saying . Granted she was being herself, but at the same time, who cares? Is Gabrielle union? Are we talking about here? Um, I think Kwaito and his girl did a solid job as a Harley Quinn and two phase. Um, Russ and Sierra did a solid job is aJ and h o I m ean J and B, u m, you know, I think K aya and t hem did a crazy ass job as far as being a , the Flintstones t o h im, me and Dino a nd this up a nd scared, u h, k art is, u h, as a , who the fuck was she? A poison Ivy? Oh , a Nicky and her husband was joke like Jill was a lot of joke outfits this year. You know what I'm saying? And I'm not surprised by that . The fact that the movie was very, very good. It's multiple iterations. You know what I'm saying? You had the Jack Nicholson, he than D guy. I can't Phoenix. And you know what I'm saying? I appreciate all of them. You know what I'm saying? I appreciate the people that even attempted, I'm not a dress-up guy when it comes to Halloween anymore. I don't think I have worn the Halloween costume since I was about , um, let's see, fourth, fifth grade, if I'm not mistaken. I think the last Halloween costume, my head, I was , um , the Riddler and I came in second in the elementary school , um, costume contest because first of all , uh, I have been a big n***a by entire life. So by a Riddler costume was a , we would say I'm a little small, but your boy, but you know, I said I held that shit together and I was able to got them captured a second place , but as soon as my pocket stepped off, goddamn stage, my costume rip or right in half or right down in the middle of my back, I wouldn't even must embarrassed at that point cause I had already accomplished what I went in there to God damn accomplished . So , um, Oh, y'all won that shit. Um, I think probably next year I'll probably start dressing up again. I don't know. Like I said, I'm not very, very big on holidays in totality, but I just think , um, being in the big city like Dallas, you see people, you know what I'm saying, put on shows as far as when it comes to Halloween costumes , like people really try hard to make sure that they dressing up tough for Halloween. And I'm, Dallas started celebrating Halloween October 1st, so it literally be a Halloween party every weekend. You know what I'm saying? So shout out to all the people that have fun throw how the um, I've been handing out Halloween candy to kids since I was about 12, so I really hasn't been on it. You know what I'm saying? That walk, you know what I'm saying, going door to door trick or treating in no shit. Like they , even for my niece and nephews, they don't go out like that as far as when it comes to your Katrina , they might do something at school, but shit, the way to where the shape [inaudible] goddamn trick or treat . And it's dangerous now. Like I was just reading. Um , I think it was yesterday that , um, somebody put razorblades in the kids' candy as far as when it comes, bruh . That shit take way too much effort than just to get a candy out. Like way too much effort. Like you got. Um, people literally like razorblades though. Like what kind of shit did that , the worst thing you can actually do to a kid on Halloween is to give them that , uh, that candy with no name on it. That's orange that come into orange wrap and a black rapper. That's it. And no name on it. No, none of that . And motherfucking candy corn. Those two things are the worst thing that ever happened. Halloween and don't know who we brought that ideally was to include a God damn . They actually the pal , uh , when it comes to the Halloween candy, fuck all that. We want sweets. And um, we don't want no goddamn candy corn. But um, I bought , you know what I'm saying, 150 pieces of candy and not one kid knocked on this goddamn door. So now I'm sitting here stuck with all this candy, which I don't need it the first place. But you know what I'm saying? I'm pretty sure if somebody, Mike , my sister came over and she took a nice little portion of their shit out too though. I got a little bit live at this point. So , um, I used to go and be rolling over and just be here cause I always normally always have um, a candy bowl in my house anyway. So I think this'll just subdue. And B , you know what I'm saying, for dedication anyway. But uh , good job y'all on Halloween. Some y'all gave me some good laughs. Uh, something y'all was pushing the artistic envelope and I appreciate that kind of art too because um, I think you know what I'm saying, even in that as an expression of self. So regardless of how many costumes you may have seen a thousand times, as far as when it comes to, like I said, there was a lot of jokers, Harley Quinn's , a lot of black Panther, Superman, of course. But you know what I'm saying? People that put their own twist on it, I think always have bigger impacts and have more fun when it comes to doing shit like that. So hats off to you motherfuckers that was out there killing it like that. But the most thing, the first thing I really want to just jump into outside of the Halloween concept was I wanted to address the passing of black comedy legend, comedy legend , uh , some of our uh , T V father, you know what I'm saying? Some of our crazy drunk uncle or man John with the spoon a K pops Williams. Yeah, he passed the other day, man. And they, it really, you know what I'm saying? You really shook up a lot of people, you know what I'm saying is it's wild it , you know what I'm saying? Even though just being a celebrity like he was, you know what I'm saying? Never met the man and a lot of people never met him . But at the same time you like, you'd never forget certain people that you see on TV or that, you know what I'm saying? You hear as far as when it comes to stand up or anything like that? Like John Witherspoon is one of the most memorable people I think we'll ever see as far as when it comes to a screen and film. Um, if you think about it like he was Crick , daddy and Friday. Everybody loves Friday. It was three of them. Um, my man Wayne loves um , vampire prior in Brooklyn when he said , uh, the Wolf man to the 25th power. Um, everybody loved the boondocks. He was the voice of granddad . You know, everybody look a fuck granddad with the song. You know what I'm saying? Got his ass beat by stink man. Um , he was the Williams brothers father. You know what I'm saying? That's what the named pops Williams come from. You know what I'm saying? He was also on black Jesus. He's been all over the goddamn, he was on fresh Prince. He was on Martin living single like trace Morgan show our back when it comes to being on the Richard Pryor show back in 77. He was also going one of my favorite movies , boomerang cobalt Tommy . He was also in Houseparty, like we can't like forget this man's legacy at all. Nothing . He stayed funny up in , like, I had literally just seen him on , uh, the DL Hughley show like literally two days before they said he had passed. He was talking about the , he wasn't going to stop working at all. You know what I'm saying? And you know, it kinda like people would real live crying out here . Like people was hurt. Like we love pops Williams. I , we love John with the spoon . And I had just , um, last night caught up on albums that I had been trying to catch up on. Listen to Kanye, Jesus King, which I'm going to get to a little bit later. I'm gonna listen to why album and also listen to chance the Rapper's album, which, you know what I'm saying? John just happened to be on, you know, so, you know, and I don't think I'll ever go, you know what I'm saying? Too long. Like I'll watch nineties black TV shows all the time, so I'm always going to see him on screen. You know what I'm saying ? I'm a big fan of Wayans brothers. Like everybody know what happened when you say bang, bang, bang. Everybody know what that means. Everybody know this pops. You know what I'm saying? Everybody know what that means when they say , um , every time I come in the kitchen, you in the kitchen, in the goddamn refrigerator, somebody could always finish these lines off at some point. So it is what man, it's just sad to see. You know what I'm saying ? Granted he was 77 years old. I think he has lived a complete and full life and I think he's life should be celebrated even though we want them still to be here in Ranka . Nobody has a voice like pops. Like everybody starts sitting in clips or posted new clips and shit like that and you just start hearing that voice over again and they're just wild to see that we'll never hear a new iteration of anything that he was doing. We'll just have to remember everything he's done. So once again, you're arresting power. Rest in peace, rest in paradise to the legend. John Witherspoon one time bang, bang, bang for the crowd . Man. It's going to be different without pops Ben around man. And that's all we know. Him as just popped with it. But you know, the rest of the piece of job, man, I think I'm gonna watch boomerang and vampire in Brooklyn probably just later on one time just so I could remember everything that'd be there with , remember all the funniest shit that was going on. Um, one of the thing that I want to get to, I just want to kind of get to like the series and this type of shit at the way earlier , cause I actually want to dive into a lot of shit later on as I continue to go. Um, like I said, I listen to Kanye as a Jesus King album , um , on yesterday as well. I there , I gave it a little time to let kind of the hype and also the , uh , the criticism, like die down. And you know, once I got a chance to sit back and listen to it, you know what I'm saying, on my own no help. I don't like listen to albums for the first time with people. So I , cause I don't want to cloud my own Justin and also here the, you know what I'm saying in the moment reaction versus letting me sit with it and actually listen to it. But I'm gonna just go ahead and say , um , Jesus came for me as a solid piece of work. It's a good album. To me, it's gospel. I don't listen to gospel music like that unless we're talking about the preacher's wife soundtrack. And of course, you know what I'm saying? It's don't Franklin. You know what I'm saying? The ones that you know, that pretty much everybody knows and, or , um, posts all the time, you know, so all that you've been listening to for a , as a child , um, it's always been a slippery slope as far as I'm , when it comes to an artist of Kanye as magnitude and door. You know what I'm saying? Background, a complicated relationship with the communities to put out an album like this. And you know what I'm saying? In his own way. But I say to those people that aren't as a reflection of your life. So if he's going through a spiritual awakening in his own personal life, who are we to say that it's being inauthentic for him to create this piece of work and to our gospel album? You know what ? I end up and I think the biggest problem is that people have put their own insecurities about religion and or the concept of religion, which I believe it's a social construct I'm on to Kanye, was to where they can't, you know what I'm saying? Magnet and that can't , um, can't really speak on how they really and truly feel about their own religious journey based off somebody else's. Look, here's my thing about it. I don't listen to Kanye as far as when it comes to politics. I know he's ill informed about that. He always, he self admitted that he don't read. I don't listen to Kanye about religion because everybody feels it's different, a different way about religion. But what I do listen for is a person who was expressing his love for who he believes in and, or what he believes in. He believed that God is blessing him. He believed that he no longer needs to do secular music to be great. Hey, I'm all for that. There's your business as you're aware of whatever flows, boats and find your lost promotes. Like I got to get to kill the mic . Um, and the dungeon family that big boy them , uh , credit for their lie . Cause I use it all the time. But I digress from my point. I'm not here to condemn what kind of music Kanye makes it all because one, I think for myself too, I can con I can compartmentalize and I can put context to anything. And I understand new Orleans , so I'm not here to bash him for doing what he wants to do. I only bash people who exhibit trash as behavior. Everything that Kanye has done while not illegal, just constant with , um, you know what I'm saying? I'm just backlash for being from people who be fake outrage. And I always say fake outrage because there is no way you don't listen to Jesus can all support Kanye and you got to pay a Yeezys on your feet. And you know what I'm saying? Kanye, you know, the Kanye and even Obama just references . Actually the counselor coach is bullshit. There is no way that you can counsel Kanye West at any point in time. You can't try. But if you do, if you're going to be sadly mistaken, the reason is you can't cancel him because I think Kanye West has done every single thing possible in his ability to prove that counselor coach is bullshit. He told y'all slavery was a choice. Um, then he tried to, would try to put it in context. He said that, you know what I'm saying? He said years ago, they just sold his soul to the devil. Nobody cared. George Bush don't care about black people. Nobody really cared. Um , random staging these tailors who have nobody really cared. Um, I made an album called uses , which was a play on was , it was a play on religion. That's when everybody got, you know what I'm saying? You guys are on edge, but he also did Jesus walk, just did airplane Carioca with James cordon. Everybody's rocker with them. Everybody's rocking their Sunday service Sunday, sir , it was just in my home state of Baton Rouge. Whenever Sunday service come to Dallas, it's a strong possibility I'm going to be there because one, I also think in the same time why people is condemning Kanye for the religious play. Granted whether you think is authentic and or not, what he's also doing is introducing that type of music to a new crowd . Cause look, I'm 29 years old, I'm gonna be going into my thirties so I haven't went and sat in a church for an extremely long time and that and this , not that I have anything against organized religion, but I'm a more spiritual person based off the new information that I've learned about it , on notes out about the churches and about a religion as whole as a whole. And I believe just like racist as a social construct because at the end of the day, regardless of who you love and who you believe in religion that is court, they are all the same. And it's basically the golden rule. Treat people how you want to be treated and be a service to others. That's all it is. I don't, that's why I don't understand the most defensive . Our , um, I think Malcolm X said the most visited our in America is high noon on Sunday. So I don't know why. You know what I'm saying? It's such a big deal. You know what I'm saying? Because people say he played with God. Okay. If you playing with God, let's do this right here. Let's not forget last year a Snoop dog dropped the gospel album. Let's not forget that at all. You know what I'm saying? Kurt Franklin, look, her friend has had his own problems. Pastor John Gray got his own problems. [inaudible] Bishop editing long had his own problems . The Catholic church definitely got their problem. So if we're gonna, you know what I'm saying? Be outraged at him. We gotta be outrage across the board. We got to let we gotta sit the level playing field. Like what are , what are we talking about here? Like Reverend Al server had been a Reverend with no church for years. So anything for the river. Um, Jesse Jackson, what's up with that? You know what I'm saying? Martin Luther King is a political God, also a God amongst black people and one of the gods and one of the greatest human beings possible that ever walked this earth. He was a pastor as well, but she was known as his wife like we have. You have to understand like he was criticized for being, you know what I'm saying? At the time I'm not comparing the two, but I'm also saying you got to pick what side of history that you want to be on. Granted, the people that picked the ride when Martin is living on the right side of history right now, which I always will too because I think you know what I'm saying, that people often forget, even though him and Malcolm makes beef and every everything on there . Mark Malcolm , I mean Martin was also getting shit done as well. Like even with the name calling being called uncle Tom being the sell out, all of that types of, he was getting shit done. He got the , the bills passed , he got the laws changed so you can never knock the person that's doing that. But you know what I'm saying? You have to pick and choose which batter that you want to fight. I don't think Kanye was converting completely. The Christianity given all to the church and being about the church is a big deal for me personally cause other shit that's going on in my life. You know what I'm saying that I am trying to get right. So if he feels like feel like he has gotten right with the Lord and he has been forgiven and he's moving forward everything about, you know what I'm saying, doing he has to do, that's his world. That's the word that he lives in. I don't live in my own play in that world. So just like we talked about last week about what it took as far as when it tank's definition of being gay. Like I said last week, I don't play in those worlds now to the album. I think it's a good album. I think of you like Jesus walks. I think of you liked ultra light beams. I think of you life father, stretch my hands. Um , good morning. Hey mom . Like anything , any of those kind of kind gay records. I think that you would definitely like, you know what I'm saying? Jesus is King and the choir is doing what they do. You know what I'm saying? And you know what I'm saying to production is nice basically. You know what I'm saying? It's those records without any cursing over it. Like the beats are still there. Like even tell quality who was very critical and also a friend of Kanya like John John legend has said, yo, I don't too much agree with Kanya is doing. But he said, I know when I listened to this song to this album, that shit gone . It's going to slap for me. Like you know what I'm saying? I try to, you know what I'm saying? Listen to shit and in its totality and also in the moment, but also have to think about the greater aspect. Here's the tricky part about it. As much as y'all both fuckers want to counsel Kanye, guess what? Jesus King is probably going to be number one by Monday. Just say it like it's a lot of fake outrage that be going on. So, and a lot of it stems from his support of Donald Trump. Look, I don't give a fuck who you vote for. I don't. You ain't got the Tim who I remember growing up that people did not openly say to who they was voting for. I kind of wish it to go back their way because kill the bike's 80 beds in about which math are you serving this by? Which one are you willing to give you list of concerns like people vote their interest? I'm voting my answers . Nine times out of 10 the democratic part had the interests of black people like mayor, like mayor Pete has a solid plan. Elizabeth Warren as a side of the plan. You know what I'm saying? Bernie has a P like all these people have plans commonly they all have plans about, especially when it comes to the black agenda. But that's not for me to tell y'all who I'm voting for it . Cause I don't know because hell it could be Donald Trump might lose the um , the primary race as far as when it comes to Republican party be shit . He might get impeached. We don't know. But I'm gonna come back to that a little bit later. But you know what I'm saying? Who knows something another Democrat might call far, far left . You know what I'm saying? Bedo you know what I'm saying? Just dropped out of the race. You know what I'm saying? I'm 40 teams on the breakfast club the other day in Charlotte. I asked him a very, very important question, which I think people kind of came and make it like con um , Charlemagne was being divisive or you know what I'm saying? Trying to attack beta . But he asked them when it comes to discussion to reparations is you, are you pandering, which we know that politicians pretty much do cause it's dream selling season. They try to get their poll numbers up and they trying to get them, Oh, like are you serious about the preparation ? What's the plan for it? You know what I'm saying? So you have to be very, very sure. And you also have to be do your homework as far as when it comes to these, you know what I'm saying? Politicians and the route to everywhere you want it . Oh . And shit like that. But it's up for y'all to decide to make your own decisions. Hopefully you get enough information between a CS , NBC, NBC, a CPS, like all that type of shit. See your name . All those outlets we'll provide your 24 hours up to , and they also do it on YouTube too . Have , you know, AV cable . So you'll definitely get that. But , um , Kanye also received a $68 billion tax return her , and he said that it all goes to Jesus . Like, Hey, I ain't gonna lie it. Anytime I get tackled tired , the first person I give it up to is the , the most high. So, you know what I'm saying? It is what it is. Like, Hey , I don't know the dude was , I wouldn't know what to do with six to 8 billion. It sound good. But you know, I get my small amount and I just get back to the hood. You know what I'm saying? The best way I possibly can with the little bit amount of Monday I do give back. I ended up giving a half foot away and my projects anyway, so it is what it is. Um, I would suggest people check that check out. Jesus is King, but it is at your own risk, at your own pace and whatever you believe in. Hey, it's your world. But Hey, it is what it is. Shout out to mr wizard did a solid job on Jesus. The King in my opinion. Some people are gonna pan and some people are going to say it's not good. So I kind of think is almost unfinished cause it's only 11 tracks in 27 minutes. Um, I think we needed a fool. Um, I think you should have cut back, I think cut down two tracks and add about five more minutes to the project. I think it would've been rear real solid. I'm not , I wouldn't be surprised being at the fact it's November. I think Grammy nominations and submissions will be coming up soon, so I won't be surprised to get nominated for best gospel album maybe or where to go into the hip hop category. I don't know. I got to get some music experts in here. We can talk about this at some point . So , but it is what it is. I'm trying to talk about a Jesus King Kai . And so what else I want to go to or talking about ops . Oh yeah. Donald Trump. So the world series, it's actually passed on a couple of days ago and um, he, there's got booed at the game grant. They ain't know he was coming to the game for one. So when he got there, he thought everything was cool. He could say what he want to say, dude, you want to do stood up there now see you there. They booed him with the chance of lock his ass up or lock him up. You know their shit. You know what I'm saying? At some point. God, I hurt like you at the home, you out , you had a home game for the Washington nationals right around there , right around the corner from you crib. And the first thing when people say, well yo ass is in the building is impeachment locked me up the first day, you probably would have been going through my mind if I was Donald Trump with me. You dirty motherfuckers like that'll probably be the first thing I could think of in my mind like before I stood up. Why I clapped though . I heard their shit. I was just, you dirty mother fuckers probably would have been the first thing that came out of my mouth. No lie because I'm doing, you motherfuckers are faithful by showing up to the game . Ain't nobody watching this shit anyway. The first day you do with booming, you dirty motherfuckers. But you know he deserve everything that he gets. You know what I'm saying? Because it is what it is. Like they the, the phrase is you , uh , you made the bed now lay in it. [inaudible] nah, I'm cool with that shit. Fuck that. But you know what I'm saying? I ain't got no sympathy for him . If you use on the one place you can find my sympathy for Donald Trump and that is definitely in the Webster's dictionary between shit and syphilis. So fucking get his ass out. And they also just reading this morning just speaking about Donald Trump, they are, they actually voted, I'm in the house to go ahead and move forward with the impeachment inquiry that they put in about a month or so ago. And which means that now that the testimony is as far as when it comes to other motherfuckers that has been involved and been talking to the shit that um, everything's going to be done publicly. So there's no more private hearings or anything like that. So now a lot of hearings as faults with them , whistleblowers and people that had been on the white house, staff for work inside the white house that has any input or no , any firsthand knowledge there . This is going to be subpoenaed to testify live on TV. Like, I believe in my humble opinion that we're going to hear a lot of please to Phillips five one two, three fulfilled. I think that's where we are going to be hearing a lot. And I don't think that bodes well for the democratic party. Again, I could be 100% wrong, but I think it all depends on who is gonna be the lead prosecutor as far as when it comes to the democratic party. I think it should be common. Harris , I think you should be Nancy Pelosi . I think it should be. Um, shit. Who else did I a core book out that he's a lawyer by trade. And I also think it should be a Hillary Clinton actually. Cause you know what I'm saying, the cleanser lawyers by trade two and damn good lawyers apparently. And you know, I want to see exactly what that will look like. And I don't think Donald Trump would have to, you know what I'm saying? Appear on the stand . Nothing like that. Cause I think, like I said on pocket , I think it was last week or the week before, the person that you gotta go with, you're the Democrats and you know exactly what you want to know. You got go out , rule it at Rudy, Rudy Giuliani. I felt like you gotta go to him because he's been having public meltdowns. But I think if you get them in a close quarter and you really grill them , he goes , he don't fucking fall apart at the seams. And I can, you can see like little cracks as far as when it comes to the media, then the motherfucker butt down somebody the other day talking reckless as hell. Granted rules Gian is owed it all fuck. But if you still gonna play in this game, regardless of age shit, you gotta know how to play it and nothing he is motherfucker failing Donald Trump left and fucking right. But however w it remains to be seen, I think the Democrats should go out to him extremely hard because I think they're going to bring his ass up on charges too and see exactly what he willing to do. Like, is he willing to ride for his man? It's that tough though or with it or is it going six, nine a situation? I think if you grill as as long enough and not think you have a moat , a barrage of questions coming , not bathroom. But I think if you fire his ass up long enough, you get the exact same, you will get the exact results you want. And this is how I feel about it. But yeah , I'm like I did mention earlier a beta or work dropped out of the race. He was out . He wasn't pulling very, very well. Um, when he first announced his presidency, I wasn't too sure on that anyway because he had, he didn't win in his own state. So I kind of figured, you know what I'm saying? He should, you know what I'm saying? Wait, you know, try to go back in a couple of years when Texas, they'd come back around after doing a great endorsed , successful job in Texas, which is the state that I live there. And there you declare your prison . Cause I feel like you haven't shown a proven track record of winning quote unquote the big like the big race. It's like there's basically like you're in the NBA, you ain't been to the finals or anyone know a playoff series, but you get max contracts. Don't , it shouldn't work like that. Granted we see that happening, but I don't think it should work like that. I think you should get max after you win. Now after you do a show, a consistent route to winning, you know what I'm saying? But when it don't always Trump everything. And um , another win for the Democrats is we was that the , uh , harsh abortion ban that was placed on about, I forgot I'm in a that with seven to eight, maybe a little bit more. I'm saying we're up 27, 12 States. I'm from earlier this year, that ban , um , it's not going to go through. It was blocked by all the States that was actually , um , involved in [inaudible] , which is a big win . You know what I'm saying? Cause he , it has to deal with Roe versus Wade. And , um , finally I think the people who, you know what I'm saying , um , block , uh , block the bed , understood that you had a room for the old white men making decisions about women's body. Granted, I have said on numerous times where they, in passing conversations or, and on this podcast, I don't believe in abortion. However, that's not my business or that's not my call at the end of the day. Like I could get somebody pregnant right now, you know what I'm saying? She might ask my input, but at the end of the day, whether she wanted to keep it or not, that's not on me. That shit goes beyond this over me. You know what I'm saying? Because I don't have to carry the baby. I don't have to birth the baby and I don't have to possibly go through, you know what I'm saying? Especially being, if you're black, possibly dying, trying to get birth to the baby due to the and proper medical care that most black women have been receiving in these hospitals. So I'm pro choice. I think she's had the choice to do is that a woman should have had the choice to do whatever she wants to do. And so by that as not my call ran , if it, if it , if it is to be my child, it's still not my call. I just got to chalk that up to the game and there she don't want to have it or Don , I'm ready to have it. He ain't got to keep it goddamn moving . And you know what I'm saying, the crazy part about it is that, you know, is it's multiple studies. I really don't know which that is to believe, but they always say that in a couple of years in America will be more um, diverse as far as when it comes to , uh , the, the shit, I'm drawing a fucking blank right now. God damn boy , uh , diversity day . It is the diversity in America. Like , um, majority of America is going to be like, you know what I'm saying? Children with multiracial parents and if you could stop that shit, white men is all about it. That's why I think white men still have a fear that they're never going to be the the minority at some point, bro. Nobody wants to take out goddamn players . All black people, Brown people, and people from other countries want is you just leave us the fuck alone. That's , that's pretty missed the best way I can put that without saying anything, just deep and detailed. Just leave us the fuck alone. Like if you are going to be racist, go be racist by yourself. You're going to be a bigot . Going to be a bigot by yourself. You're going to be sexist. Be sexist by yourself. Leave us the fuck alone. And I think that, you know what I'm saying? These communities will flourish on their own as long as you leave us the fuck alone. Like there is nothing else, pretty much in that realm that black group can do. We've already built on communities. Oh, guess what? White people burned it down. We've made our own money. Oh, guess what? We hire somebody white and guess where they fucked up the banking system. Oh, we have home. Have owned homes. Oh, you know what happened? We're going to get more white people there and we're going to work , we're going to deny more. Um, but we're going to give y'all raise 'em white people that still going to have a little bit more just to keep the racial gap , uh , divide as high as possible. Like y'all just get the fuck out the way we were handling shit on our own. Like we got this, you know what I'm saying? We shown a proven track record to build flourishing communities and businesses long as you just leave us alone. Leave us to our own devices. Like we ain't trying to take America. We just want y'all to give us what was promised and leave us the fuck alone once slavery was over. Y'all supposed to be in that first the fuck alone . But I all know not only a slave had to cool, you had crepe black codes and red line and then Jim Crow. And you know what I'm saying? Systemic and racism as far as when it comes to , um, the school to prison pipeline, like damage . Just leave us alone. We'll be right . But you know what I'm saying? It probably won't happen, but on to some more enjoyable news outside of, you know what I'm saying? What's going on fucking abortions and what's going on in Washington. I'm the NCAA after, you know what I'm saying? California was the first state to go ahead and do this. Our allowing players to make money as far as profit off them off their name. I know sir , they're likeness. Granted, I don't think this is the perfect solution, but it the right step in the right direction. You know what I'm saying? I have a lot of friends who are very, very split on this and some believe that the education is paid for free is the proper method as far as when it comes to with a student athlete. She get, some people feel like, you know what I'm saying? The students should get be getting paid because they're generating multi millions of dollars, not only getting pennies on the dollar, which is fucking scraps . You know what I'm saying? And I, you know what ? I've been on both sides of the fence. I've know . I know. You know what I'm saying? Student athletes, people who I went to college with, where student athletes, I know some of the struggles that we was going through, like every go through the same struggle the regular student was going through. The only differences we was able to get jobs at some point, which most of them can't because they're working on their craft and on the sport 24 hours almost a day if it's not, if you're not actually on the field, on the court, you also in study hall, if you're not doing study hall, you're also in community service. Like they don't have the time, you know what I'm saying, to dedicate to a part time job or something like that. Even in the off season, like the best they probably could do in the offices and was like get a job and you know, somewhere on campus. And that's like , well they're always close to where they are. And also coaches always had access to the albums and shit like that. So is there really a job or a favor? You know what I'm saying? So, and excuse me, and um, I think, I think these kids should be paid and here's a reason why I believe they should be paid. The reason is granted , uh , free education is cool. You know what I'm saying? But you're not guaranteed to, you know what I'm saying? Third , flourish with an education that's just not proven and you can come to college and be the biggest dude on campus and not have no money in your pockets at all. And the simple fact that it's like if I'm generating like we, like I have regularly, look , we have regular jobs as well , right? Just think about you as you're a regular, you know what I'm saying? On your regular job everyday that you go to, right ? Think about this. You're either helping collect and or generate thousands of dollars for your job. Brandon, are you getting paid the proper amount that you should be getting paid to help generate this amount of money? No. However, you're also making a, you're getting payments for that and which also may include tuition reimbursement or something like that and you take advantage of that and the company will pay for your schooling. Granted, all these schools we had looked at this are independent contractors. Like everybody has a contract with the NCAA and I feel like if they can have contracts on top of TV contracts and on top of shoe contract , why can't we make the , the money that we're also make a portion of the money that we're generating, like the NCAA generated multi-millions almost billions a year. And you're not getting these students anything outside of just a monthly, a little bit of monthly stipend and also paying for education
Speaker 3really, really.
Speaker 2All right. But I just feel like they should be paid because you don't , I'm sitting , they trying to use the term amateurism and tourism been dead a long time ago. But you know what I'm saying? You try to use that as an excuse, but nah, just go ahead and get them people to them. And , and in the ma in the crazy part about the money's there because if you could pay for a new library or you could pay it for, you know what I'm saying, the football team is generating $5 million . You could take a million and build a new library that's not benefiting just as the , the football, tennis that's benefiting the entire school. So how about their contribution be kicked back to them as well. You know what I'm saying? It is what it is I pay to play. And now the only thing I, I'm very very curious about is that when this rule passes, how is it going to be governed? You know, it's like, cause I kinda feel like agents are going to be a little bit involved, like people going to be navigated pretty much. People like getting more , um , uncle Dennis's that come into the forefront and shit like that. So it's going to be very, very interesting on how that is being handled and or executed as well. And I kind of think it's going to be like the wild wild West. It's going to be like who? Who's the highest bidder at this point and you know, national temperature contenders like Alabama, Clemson and Florida state and he knows the Ohio state, Michigan, like colleges like that. They got real. Banker's going to be pulling there . It's going to be the wild West out here. And I think that's an any sport. Like I'm not going to be surprised at Duke. So putting out like Memphis has done warm recruiting plans and kind of the basketball right now, I won't be surprised in a couple of years that Duke tech, that title bat , cause Duke brings in millions of dollars every year. UCLA millions of dollars North Carolina moons. The dog's like no in North Carolina. Rarely ever gets, you know what I'm saying? The top five recruiting class is always, you know what I'm saying? We're always bottom , you know what I'm saying? Bottom five, you know I'm bottom anywhere between five to 15 almost every year because we don't just get the a blue chip stock. We always just get, you know what I'm saying, some side of the road. Plus I also deal with the uh , upper echelon of talent that we wrote that we do get. So it was to be very interested . NCAA got some shit that they got to do because some people don't be demanding more money than others like this. Imagine how much money is I am probably would've made last year, if you know what I'm saying. This room was in place like Xylem zone , ESP and almost every week, every other day, I'm sorry he was on commercials, you know what I'm saying? You know, he was everywhere. Everything . I'll buy posters all over the country, you know what I'm saying? So it's just magic . He'd be like, yo, I won't , you know what I'm saying? You know what's a couple of dollars every time my images used on my name is used, the boy will be nice right now. And it also secures them a future just in case. And I'm saying when you graduate college or people that want to go all four years, you know what I'm saying? They can strike a local deals . And shit like that. You know what I'm saying? To start that on Monday money and go into business for themselves. You know what I'm saying? Not everybody is going to be a professional athlete in every sport. This is not, it's just not realistic. I think the percentage of bending professional at every sport or and or in just college sports in general is like 0.01% like is a very, very small percentage of people that's actually going to be, you know what I'm saying? I'm playing in the NFL, NBA, MLB and things of that nature, but I think of you that some of these kids make the money while they're in college. They can use their money to become entrepreneurs for themselves or also become certified CPAs to pay for bars or lawyers or pay for, you know what I'm saying? Another year of schooling or pay for grad school or anything of the next year that they want to do with because they earned it. You know what I'm saying? So it's just very, I'm just very interested to see because I've always felt like the answer to AA and the government kind of almost works. Like the reason I'm skeptical about how reparations should be given out because I always feel like at the government's gonna find a way to get the shit right back. Like I feel like I felt like reparations is going to be like a work bonus and anybody out there has ever received a corporate American work bone and knows the money that you see that you have actually generated as far from the money that you're ever going to get for the simple fact that, you know what I'm saying? Let's just say you get $3,000 a year, the bonus check, you'd be like, boom, you started making plans for the $3,000 but hell no 40% initiative has gone. So basically it's like you living in the whole entire new tax bracket for no reason that day or when that check comes out, normally that's not what I'm getting taken out. But all of a sudden when I get a check like this, you know what I'm saying, a good portion of that shit is coming out. You know what I'm saying? So it's very, very interesting. And I've know I've said there were numerous times interesting as far as what, how is things are going to go, because I'm curious to know like how would the NCAA gonna I'm gonna manage this because what they did was they opened, they opened up this floodgate as far as, cause I believe it was a , they were being reactionary and not proactive initially should've been like after ed O'Bannon sued them years ago for using his, that's why I answered AA video games on , uh , on around anymore because once they figured out that, you know what I'm saying, you had to pay students for this. They cut the shit out like EA and uh, the NCAA was done. Granted I like college football, I a lie and no , and at one point it was actually better than men or right there neck and neck with men . But once ed O'Bannon, so there's , and you know, ed O'Bannon as he played at UCLA one a last a national championship for them back in the early nineties. He was like, yo, I need to get what I'm fairly compensated for. And that lawsuit was big as fuck. And I think he got what he was looking for. So I don't think NCAA will ever be back. You know what I'm saying? That's been, she ended up, Noah ended up living and going down in 10 years. If not, if maybe I'm gonna say between eight and 10 years. Is that the guest ? But that was a lot. And um , we will see, cause the incident led some slip motherfuckers and they got, I'm pretty sure I got a very, very set of , uh , particular rules then it's gonna either fuck some shit up or there's go leave motherfuckers with their hair scratching. But I'm talking , talking about the NCAA down notice. That'd be my train when I'm on here by myself. I just said , I'm tired of talking about certain shit because I really truly do. We stop talking about , um, one other thing that came up this week, which is , which I think has been , uh , brewing for quite some time, but you know what I'm saying? Nobody really, really, truly be caring about this type of shit until it actually almost hits a home. And , uh, one thing, it was , um , April Jones and little fears, his relationship and people that are raped because little fears, which I don't know that Nick's real name. So you know, they come from the [inaudible] days, man as a B to K B , that's , that's the shit that'd be going on out here in these streets. Now beat U K got beef with each other. Now we're CreER Stopes , but with each other. Um, so what happened was as that April John, who was Oh , Mario AKA Mae back Mae back O's , uh , mother of his two kids, she started fucking with his group member, a little fizz man. I feel like it's got to have 2003, all them . But , uh , now they are officially together or whatever. And people that are like outrage like yo, like what, what the fuck is going on? While Marianna ain't tripping to no shit like that man, here's shit like this goes on and a lot of circles all the time. Fortunately I've been able to find a group of friends where shit like this does not happen to my knowledge now I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but to my knowledge did none of this shit has happened before. You know what I'm saying? To where like one of my boys is messing with another ones . You know what I'm saying? Mother, mother of his kids and or his kid. So we haven't crossed those lines and I hope we don't have to cross those line to prove my point to be right or wrong, but in my opinion like you really can't control who you fall in love with. And the only thing is that you can only control if you act on it or not because I'm pretty sure we all been quote unquote wanted to smash and are wanting to be with somebody. One of our homeboys have been with Andorra for women, their home girls . Some people ask, some people don't and you have to make the decision like, yo, is the friendship worth it or is this person worth it? And I guess fears and April has made the decision that they were worked at to each other, which you know what I'm saying? In the grass spectacle of things I can understand. But from a man coat guy , cold man mayors type situation, nah I can't because it also makes it seem like this some shit that you've been planning on from the beginning. I had a conversation with one of my hungers about this about a year or so ago and there's almost this exact situation came up and she was like, I don't see the problem dating inside the circle. And I said, I do. She said, well the problem is that one person, it would be riddle and jealousy and that's why I'm like, nah, not so more so jealousy but more so the concept of loyalty because I feel like when you enter any kind of relationship, whether it's a friendship and or like a real relationship lawyer, two is key. You know what I'm saying? Being true to your people, that's key. Now who knows? Fears in the Mario might already talked about this shit. Know Marvin and said fuck this shit. He cool with it or you know what I'm saying? If fears are just defining this fuck whatever the case may be, motherfuckers ain't changed and people are like, Oh Marianna ain't spoke out . I ain't gonna say nothing . What the fuck is he to say ? Like literally, what the fuck is he to say? Like, I'm gonna be fears ass . Okay, what does going to do? That's not going to stop them from being together? Like, you know what I'm saying? If it is a sucker ass n***a, apparently we noted already and O'Mara . I think Amaria is in a place where his life right now where he just focused on his kids and whatever the fuck you want to do moving forward like this shit doesn't, it might bother him, but I think he's doing the right thing by not saying anything. Like why that shit doesn't, it doesn't do anything but flame the fires and get the public talker and nothing . He's doing the right thing by doing what the fuck he's doing right now. Mine his own goddamn business. Ben goddamn made back. Oh, somewhere doing what to do. I ain't saying that's the best part about it, but I think you know, motherfuckers are always gonna find a way to try to, to try to rattle your cage. And I think of all this shit didn't run over Mario cage, the man that God damn legend at this point because you know, like I said, there's really nothing he could say at this point to convince anything or anybody about what's going on. However, April and fit is just going on about that business. And granted, this is what we also got to realize. April can fuck whoever she want . That's the truth. Like every fucking fuck, whoever she want . Here's the thing, we know that the, that Hollywood and all that type of shit, we know there is a weird ass place in the ruse or wondered percent different from what you play in real goddamn life. However, like I said, who knows what may back. Oh and got them. A little Fez has discussed, man, God damn. Like I said, just feel like this is pandemonium. If you know, Hey, if you get that reference, I fuck with you because a lot of people won't. But anyway , uh , Hey man, if fears in April wouldn't be together, if they business ain't shit nobody could do about it at this point, because I always tell y'all people when it comes to relationships, and I believe every one of us has either been in Warren and or we'll be in one at some point in time, the more and more and more that you pressed somebody not to be with somebody else, the tighter they become because they formed a us against the world mentality and there's nothing you can do when you get two motherfuckers on the same page who are, whose main goal is to be fucking defiant and there's nothing you can do about the break that up. That is why in my humble opinion, a lot of relationships go on for so long because it's, I'm approved all these motherfuckers wrong who said that we wouldn't don't last. We wouldn't gonna do what we do. We wasn't going to be together. We went, shit, we went good for each other. It's all about proving the naysayers wrong. Granted, sometimes they really do love each other, but other times it just be, I'm going to prove that this shit is gonna work, but ever as long as possibly we can get this shit to last high of them. A lot of times though, motherfucking relationship fails. I elbow at that point in time, motherfucker don't debate and they going to fight and they gonna call their way until they know or a God damn fact that they have did everything they possibly did approve motherfuckers wrong. And my book will come and tell you like, yo, you was right. No . However, when you tell the motherfucker what to do and what not to do, that's when you lose him . Hey man, that's all I really got. Like I said , uh , thank you y'all so much for rock with us and listen to us every other week. Um, like I said, I appreciate y'all with , you know me or not. I'm with you want to know me or not. I just continue to think everyone who tunes in every week to give us a listen with them by myself or whether it , Wayne's in here right beside me. Just know we got some good shit that's coming soon. You know what I'm saying? We're getting better and better at this. Um , just past the one year anniversary of the first episode X , I was, don't get be tagged back on here, but I just really forgot to hit her up and plus you out exploring the world like she always do. Maybe we'll get it back. Maybe not. I'm pretty sure she's very, very anxious. Ed are open to get asked back on these mikes , but who knows. He remains to be seen. Thank you all . Once again for rocker with us, I'm trying to bring in new people and trying to pitch a show as far as when it comes to YouTube that I don't want to make. I just want to produce, but I'm just going to see and I'm anxious to see exactly how that's going to go. I'm working on some more guests trying to build up my with other people because right now they have zero incentive to come and sit right across from me or from us and talk about this shit. However, we're going to try to find a way to get people in that we think that have interesting POV fees to come in and have y'all cracking up with the jokes and then we could focus more on the jokes. But right now, here's what it is. Just be patient. Just bear with us. We're going to continue to fuck with y'all. It's been another episode of new creative genius podcast. Thanks for listening.
