We are honoured to welcome Professor Martin Levermore, MBE into the D.I.I.verse Studios for our Windrush special. A distinguished leader in health, education, life science, and public service, currently serving as Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands, Martin's illustrious career spans an impressive range of industries and roles, a testament to his adaptability and multifaceted expertise.

Currently, he is a Visiting Professor for Health, Education, and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University, where he brings his wealth of knowledge to the next generation of students. His entrepreneurial spirit is manifested in his role as the founder and business development director of Medical Devices Technology Limited, a pioneering company specialising in the supply of NHS medical devices and services.

In honour of the 75th anniversary of the Windrush Generation's arrival in the UK, the Home Office has recently appointed Martin as the new Independent Person to advise on the Windrush Compensation Scheme. This appointment signifies Martin's dedication to social justice and acknowledges his substantial contribution to British society.
