MORNIN BITCHES PODCAST

Speaker 1:

Morning bitches and dolls if no one told you they love you. Today, tick-tock, bobby loves you because you're you and I love you. And yes, it's been a long time since I was in my podcast I must admit a little bit more than a little bit and I just couldn't get myself to talk about everything that was going on with me and the family and everything. But I feel better today, much better this week old self recording and I'm very excited to announce excuse me, that tomorrow night I'll be on my second episode of Night Court playing Glory Vette Sinclair.

Speaker 1:

You know that rich woman that likes to steal, oh my God, and do wild and crazy things. Not unlike me or my past, but guess what? I'm not rich. I was wild and crazy, but I was never rich Rich. Rich, what I consider like a woman I lived with in New York a girl when we were kids 20s. I lived with in New York a girl when we were kids 20s was one of the richest women in New York. Beth Rubin is her name and I lived with her in her father's building, 215 East 68th Street, and we lived in her apartment and I was her roommate. I felt like a maid actually, you know, but that was on me. I just didn't feel justified to be me when I was living with her and she treated me like a maid, like you know. And oh well, she did and I let it happen. And let me tell you something I don't let anything like that happen again in my life.

Speaker 1:

So, moving on from that, that's my character Glory Vets and Claire, and she will be on tomorrow night Night Court the best thing that's happened to me in a long time, besides my husband Ed. Okay, long time, besides my husband Ed. Okay, I will admit to that. Okay. But, oh my God, the people I've worked with the executive producers, the stars, the writers, directors, producers, crew people yeah, all amazing Costume people, makeup people treated me like gold. Oh my God, like gold. As my puppy would say Sandrilla, you're being treated like gold. I went wow, I'm being treated like gold here. It just makes me fell and cry at the same time. Honestly, since I've been back to show business since like 12, 13 years ago, this is my first co-starring role on a show, nbc broadcast live show, unbelievable, you know.

Speaker 1:

So, co-starring roll yet, oh, to see my name there and work with such amazing people melinda round, melissa, excuse me, I said melinda, I'm gonna sneeze now because I might anytime I sneeze. My bubby would say and you and you and you. She would say and I'm going to sneeze again, sneezing on the truth. It's an old Yiddish saying my puppy and I'm looking at a picture of her and me on my phone, on my actual big picture up here. You can't see it, but I have a picture of me in her arms at four months old. I loved her so much and she loved me so much. I hope I do her proud in every part of my life. I really do. I loved her so much. There was nobody like her in the world. But I'm just talking about the opportunity that came to me.

Speaker 1:

Melissa, they called you Melinda. Actually, I know a lot of those people in my life with the names Emmy, melina. One of my nieces is Melinda. Then there's you, melissa. You know another, melissa Brouch, beautiful person.

Speaker 1:

John Larroquette, a wonderful actor, you know, oh my God, swendy Mallet, la Creta, la Creta. I hope I pronounced you. I always say that. I always say with Frechetta it's La Creta. And all the other actors that are in that show, oh my God. The. The director, ren Ren Bell, producers, writers, oh God, you know. So I'm just kind of talking about this. I hope you'll watch it tomorrow night because it's such a funny show. You know there was a famous years ago, a famous night court that was just so wonderful. And Melissa plays, you know, harry's daughter. And so many of the other actors in this are wonderful. And you know one of my idols is Selma Diamond. She is definitely always one of my idols, you know. She comes into my body and talks to me. Of course she smoked.

Speaker 1:

I used to smoke a pack a day back in the days. Oh my God, I smoked Marlboros, the red, marlboro red A pack a day. I went from smoking one cigarette to one pack a day in the 70s. And, oh my God, if my ass left I smoked I'd be in the 70s. And oh my God, if my ass left I smoked, I'd be in oxygen right now. Not that that's a bad thing, you know, but I'm just saying so if you get a chance tomorrow night, please watch 7.30 NBC because they're going to do a musical and the wonderful actor, richard Kind, everybody's favorite actor Look at me, my nose is running Favorite, favorite actor, richard Kind, who is like a national treasure. Okay, so if you get a chance and it's a wonderful musical, with Stan's book being turned into a musical La, la, la, la, la la.

Speaker 1:
