In this episode, the speaker argues against the commonly cited statistic that native-born U.S. citizens are more likely to commit violent crimes than illegal aliens. They contend that this comparison lacks depth and overlooks many instances where crimes by illegal aliens are reported. They criticize both the media and politicians for pushing the narrative, which they see as misinformation and gaslighting. Various examples are cited, including crimes committed by Venezuelan and Chilean gangs and individual cases like Patrick Lyoya and Brittney Griner. The speaker plans to explore the actual data and articles in the next episode to expose what they believe are the media's false claims about immigrant crime rates.

The Tenth Man:

You are four times as likely to commit a violent crime as a native born US citizen than is an illegal alien. Is this true and is this even the right comparison today? On the 10th, man, isn't it odd that we have so many crimes reported which are committed by illegal aliens, violent crimes, rapes, murders? Gangs taking over whole apartment buildings. While the fake news is telling us illegal aliens do not commit crimes, the politicians and the fake news keep repeating this odd statement that Americans commit more crimes then illegal aliens. Anyone can see that They do in fact commit crimes all the time. We just don't know for sure how many. And that is a key fact right there. Young women are raped and murdered while out on a morning jog. Venezuelan gangs take over whole apartment buildings in Colorado, Chilean gangs ransack luxury homes in the suburbs of Detroit and their counterparts. Rob the homes of professional athletes while they're away playing their games. Even when a woman is set on fire by an illegal alien on a New York City subway train, the response of the media and the Democrats is, don't worry, because actually native born Americans are more likely to commit a crime than an illegal alien. This statement absolutely fails the sniff test. It fails the eyeball test. We are obviously seeing illegal alien crime constantly. How can they dare try to convince us otherwise? And where did they come up with this oddly specific statement of all the things they could tell us about illegal aliens? That's what they came up with, comparing native born Americans to illegals. It's a weak argument, a facile argument, but. Beyond that, it's also false. The whole thing is a case of misinformation and gaslighting. We've had many recent plane crashes followed by assurances that air travel is safe. A TikTok influencer was stabbed to death in Japan last week during a live stream. But that news is reported alongside the note that Japan is a safe country. Once a month we have a shark attack or a wild bear attack, but the news tells us that all our walking paths and beaches are safe. They actually tell us you're more likely to be attacked by a man than by a bear. Based on juggling of crime, statistics, and the myth of the mild manner, the safe, illegal alien fits in with all of these. While we're told that there is a mass shooting every day and that the schools are unsafe and that Trump is a threat to democracy, all those, but the illegal I immigrants, they don't commit crimes. The media push whatever narrative fits their agenda. And as we said, this is an oddly specific study type, the number of crimes committed by immigrants. Versus native born, what would prompt such a study, such an investigation, not to mention dozens if not hundreds of news articles on that topic. You can tell just by the, on the very surface, it's a gaslighting effort. Why aren't there any other categories of study on the topic of immigrant crime? Like. Whether more crimes are committed by Venezuelans or Colombians, more crimes by the employed versus the ones in shelters, crimes by new arrivals versus repeat crossers. Or how about the number of crimes committed by illegals in the US versus the number of crimes committed by illegals in Canada or, and here's a factual one, the fact that the children of immigrants. Are more likely to commit crimes than their parents. That fact alone tells us a lot about this. That tells us why we should not only not give citizenship to people who immigrate here illegally, but not to their children either, or their grandchildren. We should wait a few generations, but that's another topic. Or how about a real. Apples to apples comparison. Let's talk about the number of crimes committed by people from Central America versus the number of crimes committed by Americans visiting Central America, because that number is probably zero and of course the main question, how many new crimes are there committed by illegals in the United States, which would not have occurred at all if they were not here. The fact that we don't have reasonable comparisons just reflects on the tendency of the media to give special treatment to immigrant criminals. Patrick Lyoya was a criminal migrant from the Congo, and he was killed early one morning, two years ago when he was caught driving an apparent stolen car drunk, and was stopped by the police. The Democrats in the fake news say nobody should be killed in a traffic stop. Well, it was a drunk driving stolen car. A traffic stop, which I've never been in. I'm sure you haven't either. He failed to follow police orders. Fled was tackled by the cop, fought with him. He tried to take the cop's weapon, a taser in this case, and the cop drew his other weapon and shot him. The man is driving drunk at eight in the morning and he's treated like a victim of racism, even though the cop. A former missionary to Africa, so the cop was put on trial, and false comparisons are drawn between Patrick Lyoya and white criminals. But again, that's not the right comparison. A better comparison would be how would Patrick Lyouya have been treated by police in his native Congo? In the Congo, had he dared to struggle with the police, he wouldn't be a hero. He wouldn't be a cause celebre. He would've simply disappeared. No demonstrations, no TV coverage. He'd be gone. And if the news is so concerned about how foreigners are treated by the police when they're in another country, how about the treatment of Americans abroad? Again, there's just a double standard. When WNBA player, Brittney Griner, a legal visitor to Russia, Was sent to a forced labor camp where she spent several months. Where was the media outcry against unfair treatment Unfair treatment of a foreigner to Russia. She took illegal contraband into the country, but it was accidental. And what she was taking in was a relatively harmless, controlled substance. Something that was illegal Here. She wasn't driving drunk in a stolen car. She didn't murder anybody, but that story was a sensation. She is being used as a political pawn to free up an arms dealer. Speaking of murder, multiple Americans have been murdered in Turks and Caicos, a resort island in the Caribbean. A grandmother, a sheriff's deputy, the same person was killed just this past January. Where are all the protestors for completely innocent Americans losing their lives to Caribbean gangs with automatic weapons? No one even cares. They're actually more famous for putting Americans into jail. That's the other side of the coin, putting Americans into jail. When their customs finds a useless bullet in their luggage, it's useless'cause they don't have a gun. They don't have any intent. Their customs finds an American with a bullet in their luggage as they are leaving the country. There's no real crime there. The Americans are prosecuted for smuggling illegal contraband out of the country. The bullets are legal where they're going back in America. Americans who are guilty of no real wrongdoing, guilty of harming, no one are jailed and fined on technicalities of the law while they're trying to get home. Even worse, the firearms charge becomes a bigger story than Americans being killed in the same country in mass shootings. I but illegal aliens who come to the US and commit crimes are not only treated like citizens, they're treated like super citizens. They wander through the country committing mayhem. While the Democrats and the fake news say, well, they really don't commit all that much crime. During the presidential campaign, when Republicans pointed out that there were illegal criminal gangs from Venezuela taking over apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado, the news criticized them for saying it. Martha Raditz famously said to JD Vance, well. You make it sound like they're taking over all the apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado. They've only taken over a few, but that's the wrong comparison. How many apartment buildings have American criminal gangs ever taken over in another country? When people say We have an open border, they're correct, but it's, in a way, it's a misnomer because the border's only open. In one direction. Criminals come into the United States, coming south from Canada or North from Mexico, and they come here at Will, but they aren't going the other direction. They're not going out of the country, not now, not ever. Both the Democrats and the fake news. Indeed, the whole world, including Pope Francis expects Americans. To just sit back and take it. We're told that illegal aliens commit less crime than do Americans and that there are dozens of studies proving the claim. I would challenge you to find one study. There are hundreds of articles that say so. But there are no studies. In the next episode, we'll look at some of the articles, some of the claims, and the two actual data sets, and show you that. Surprise, surprise, the media have been lying to you. When the fake news says there is a study, what they really mean is more that there's a theory. Somebody found an interesting tidbit in some data, which might warrant a study, but there is no real study. Instead, they just announced the hypothesis as a conclusion and the Democrat echo chamber goes along with it. It is like you were sitting in a cafe and you noticed there were three white Toyotas going by AF at intervals, and they were all speeding. You might say you were an investigative reporter. Go back to your boss and say, I think we should investigate whether White Toyotas are involved in more speeding incidents than other cars. And your boss says, well, what'd you see? And well, I saw three white Toyotas speeding. Well, there's your study. You run with that, you've got a headline because what you should do is now set up. Cameras at various intersections, various times of the day and track all the cars and get some data and, and compare numbers. That would be the study seeing three Toyotas. And it might be true, it might in fact be true that more white Toyotas speed than do other cars. But you haven't done a study yet. We mentioned earlier the type of data that would be of interest, like where is all the immigrant crime taking place? What groups are causing it? So why don't we have some real data instead of this odd comparison, immigrants versus Americans. And the reason is that they don't have any data. They're piecing together false conclusions from limited data. So again, in the next episode we'll look at their two or three types of so-called studies, what their data actually show and how the left has taken the lack of any real data on the topic of illegal immigrant crime as proof of anything they want to claim, however outlandish, they'll actually tell you they don't have any data in the steps they took to create data. Or they'll argue from ignorance. We didn't find proof that they commit more crimes, so we conclude they commit less and they identify studies as coming from reliable sources like the FBI when it doesn't and the lie is blatant as that can only come from the New York Times. If you don't want to wait till then, then simply Google Immigrant Crime. Go to one of these articles, then read the sources they reference. You don't have to drill down very far to find that the so-called myth of immigrant crime is in fact the myth. Tell a friend about the 10th Man Podcast and thank you for listening.
