Days Of Noah, Now
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A familiar hymn fades and the room settles, but the message that follows is anything but soft. We open Matthew 24 and wrestle with Jesus’ warning that the last days will look like the days of Noah: noisy with normal life, numb to spiritual truth, and sure that tomorrow is guaranteed. Through clear teaching and simple stories, we trace how hearts grow hard, how signs become background static, and why a culture that mocks the Word resembles a world just before the rain.
We don’t stop at diagnosis. We walk through the core of Jesus’ call: stay awake, be ready, keep watch. Think of it like a check engine light for the soul—easy to ignore until it’s too late. From wars and rumors of wars to earthquakes and pestilence, the headlines echo Scripture, but the goal isn’t panic. It’s preparation. We talk about how to anchor your life in Scripture, especially Matthew 24 and Revelation, how to pray with steady focus, and how to build endurance when the enemy can’t take you out but tries to wear you down. The days of Noah had an ark; our hope now is Christ himself, the only sure refuge.
This conversation is both urgent and hopeful. We read the signs without sensationalism, invite honest repentance, and point to a simple path of readiness: trust Jesus, align your daily habits with the Word, and help your family and friends do the same. Whether you’ve walked with God for years or you’re just now sensing that tug on your heart, you’ll find clarity, courage, and a loving push to move from delay to devotion. Listen, share it with someone who needs a wake-up call, and tell us what step you’re taking today. If this encouraged you, subscribe, leave a review, and help us get this warning—and this hope—to more hearts.
I would like to welcome everyone to the show enjoy and God bless everyone.
I woke up this morning with my mind. I woke up this morning with my mama.

SPEAKER_01:Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Awesome to be back in the studio today to talk about the word of God. All right. Hope everybody's staying warm. Alrighty. So today I want to talk about some stuff in Matthew 24. This was called Jesus' Olivet Discourse. And I probably didn't even say that right. Or better yet, prophecy on the mount, however you want to say it. You know, Jesus had just come out of the temple, and they were talking to him about the t about the temple and stuff his disciples were, and they were asking him some questions and all this stuff. But Matthew 24, 37 through 39, is basically what I want to talk to you about today. This is probably one of the most striking warnings given by Jesus concerning the last days. Matthew 24 as a whole is probably the most important prophecy chapter in the Bible, maybe outside of Revelation. Then there's Matthew 24. And he tells us right there, you know, there's some really good reading there, and I hope you go back and read over it. But uh but in Matthew 24, 37 through 39, he compared the end times to the days of Noah. You know, people in Noah's time lived uh indulging in their desires, not thinking about the judgment that was coming, you know. The story of Noah is in Genesis 6 through 9, I believe it's those all of those. And in Noah's generation, wickedness had reached its peak and God decided to destroy the earth with a flood. But see, Noah found grace, of course, in the sight of God and was told to build an ark and his family would be saved. But the thing that the ironic thing is, is all these years, for many years, Noah preached righteousness while building the ark. But see, the people ignored his warnings and continued their sinful ways. You know? And friends, I'm telling you today, look all around you today. We see the world straight out of Genesis. So we see the days of Noah. Because he said, and let's see, it was what I say, 37. Uh he said in in Matthew 24, 36, he said, But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. 37, but as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. For in those days they were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark. So Noah tried to tell them, you know, when we see this straight out of Noah, straight out of at right around us, straight out of Genesis, straight out of this right here, we see it every day right around us, people. Sin increasing every day, people rejecting God's words. And today that's what we want to talk about. We we want to talk about then and now. See, Genesis 6 and 5 says, and and the Son, and God said that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. See, the earth was filled with all kinds of corruption and evil, and and every thought of man's hearts was evil. Genesis 6 and 11 says the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. See, there was violence and lawlessness. Uh uh It just ruled. It ruled society. There was chaos, destruction. Now, people ask yourself, is that not going on right now in front of us? Crime, wars, conflict, Christians being uh tormented for their faith in God, people, people disregarding God's laws and going after their own desires. And it's just like back then, despite Noah's preaching and all the construction of the ark, people still continue to live as nothing would happen. They were focused on eating and drinking and marrying and living as though life would just go on without judgment, you know? And these people, years and years of rejecting God's word, had caused their hearts to harden. They become insensitive to the spiritual truth. They they let sin turn their hearts to cold. They lived as if God didn't even exist, totally dismissing God's righteousness and his holiness. Rich men focused on earthly wealth, but they ignored their eternal destiny, just like the people around us today. You know. But the thing about it is, even though the world was corrupt, Noah still remained faithful and he found favor in God's eyes. And Genesis 6 and 9 told us that Noah walked with God. And God gave Noah these specific instructions to build an ark, because the flood, which God's judgment was coming. And friends, I'm telling you today, what I what somebody needs to open up their eyes and realize is just as the flood came up on Noah's generation, the final judgment of fire is coming up on this one again. You know, Genesis 7 and 1, you know, the ark was our own was the only means of salvation then. Giving your heart to the Lord, believing in God, and getting on the ark, but see, nobody wanted to listen. And right now, John 14 and 6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and that is the only way to eternal life through Him today. And just as the flood came, Christ's return is going to be sudden in the twinkling of an eye, and there's going to be no last minute repentance. And ask yourself, and I've I've even had words on this before, have you ever heard about in twinkling of an eye? I've actually heard and read somewhere that there was actually books and studies and books wrote about a twinkling of an eye. That is the fastest known uh twitch or uh thing that our body can do. A twinkling of an eye. Can you imagine that? No time to pray, no time for last minute repentance. Just as there was no chance to seek God after the doors of the ark was closed, there's gonna be no last minute praying. And my friends, today we are seeing the beginning of what's to come. We've been seeing it for a long time. Every single sign that Jesus gave is happening in this generation. And it will continue to increase. It's not going to get any better. It's not going to get any better. It's going to increase until it reaches the final fulfillment during the tribulation hour. Now, when we compare the final generation, which is us, with Noah's generation, Jesus said, as it was in the days of Noah, the final generation will also be found enjoying the pleasures of life. So fully they're going to completely miss the signs and warnings of God's judgment. And friends, that's exactly what's happening to us today, all around us in this generation. You know, we see more signs and warnings from God than any generation in history. And yet the people of this world is completely clueless as to what God is doing and what's still to come. I saw a little thing on Facebook the other day I thought was really cool. It said, he said, tell the people a storm's coming and they run to the store trying to get milk and bread. But you tell them Jesus is coming and nobody listens. That's a good one. I like that. And see, the more the main point here is people, that people are going to go out of their way. People's going to go right on with their daily lives, uh, taking, not taking any heed at all to the warnings of the coming judgment. You know? And another similarity between our day and Noah's day is the mocking of the word. As Noah preached the to his generation on the judgment of God and the coming flood, these people mocked him. They laughed at him, uh, mocked him, they ridiculed him. The Bible says that for over a hundred years, I read somewhere, it was 120 exactly, but I don't know. God waited patiently while Noah warned these people of judgment. Noah kept warning them and inviting them, but they refused to listen. Every day, I'm sure, every day, I can't say I'm sure, but we can think that every day he was out here putting all these boards and fixing the ark, him and his sons and their wives and stuff, and gathering all these animals. Every day I'm sure he probably stopped and tried to tell people. But see, nobody wanted to listen. And this generation today mocks the truth. They hate the truth. And then do everything they can possibly do to destroy the truth, you know? And that's another clear sign, friends, that we are in the last days. And what I find so amazing about all of this is with all of the undeniable signs that that that's going on around us today, the world still refuses to accept or believe that God's warnings about the things to come. Nobody wants to listen, nobody wants to believe it. Do they think he's playing? Do they think it's just some kind of fiction book or nonfiction or whatever book that was wrote? See, friends, just as before the flood, the world today is filled with disbelief and God is coming. Nobody wants to believe that. Everybody wants to wants to holler, it's just the story wrote, you know, it's it's not true. Nobody wants to believe that. But let me ask you something. Um so let me ask you something. See if you can get this. And I'm I'm not a mechanic, but anyway, so so how many people today have had the check engine light in their vehicle to come on? Okay. How many people here ignore it? I have. So when that little light comes on and you think, wow man, I I better go get that checked. You know what I'm saying? That's that's my warning, it's something something's happening. But then the days go by and the days go by, and then my your car's still running, and the days turn into weeks, and the weeks into months, and then after a while your car's still running. So what do you do? You just start ignoring it. You don't see nothing else happening. You just see that little light. You just stop ignoring that little tiny light that's right there in front of your face every day when you turn your car on. You know? You ignore it. And we so we don't listen to that warning that something's not right, right? We're not watching that warning. We're not that it's trying to tell us that something on this car here just isn't right. You need to get something checked here. It faces us every single day. And it's telling us, and it's telling us silently, not really silently, but blurring out at us, telling us you better pay attention, something's not right. But friends, we are like that. It's exactly how we do with the signs of Christ. You know? When we first heard about it and we say to ourselves, oh well, Christ is coming back. I need to get ready. But then the days turn in the weeks and the weeks to months and the months to years. And after a while, we just ignore those signs all around, and that's exactly what's happening today. We ignore those signs that right that is right there in front of our noses. But my friends, I'm here to tell you what. This is the truth of the matter. Jesus Christ is coming back. He could be any time now, and you need to be ready. Amen. You need to get yourself ready. And it's like that little check engine light. You need to get it checked right away, you know. And if not, you're just walking, you're just riding around on borrowed time. You're riding around on borrowed time wondering, well, when's something gonna go wrong? Because that light's telling me something's wrong, but I've not got it checked yet. And that's exactly how it is in life, friends. We are all wandering around here on borrowed time because we don't know when time is gonna be. We don't know when, but all the signs are all around us. Tells us every day. Every day, all we gotta do is turn on our TV, watch the news, open Facebook, and read this word. That tells us right there what's going on around us. Friends, people wasn't ready for the flood in Noah's day. They kept living their lives as though nothing was gonna change. And see, when the flood came, when it started raining, they probably still didn't think nothing about it when it first started raining. But I'd say once the water got knee deep and thigh deep, they probably started thinking. But by then it was too late. You know? And I know you've heard that old saying, history repeats itself. Well, Jesus said when he returns, it's gonna be like it was in the days of Noah. Those signs are gonna be all around us, and people are not going to be ready. Not going to be ready. And is that not history repeating itself? We've already had that once in history, and it's coming again. And brothers and sisters, I'm here telling you today, Matthew 24, 40 and 41 says, and there shall be two in the field and one taken and one left. Two women will be grinding in the mill, one taken and one left. Is that not telling us right there that everybody is not going to be ready? Everybody's not going to be ready. And my friends, today, you need to open up your eyes and realize that the signs are all around us. There's false teachers, wars, rumors of wars, natural disasters, earthquakes, famines, pestilence, pandemics. I mean, to the very first day of 2026, I heard, read on Facebook, of at least three to four earthquakes in one day. And my friends, somebody needs to open up their eyes today and realize your check engine light is on and the signs are here. These are the days of Noah. The days of Noah are here. And friends, you I wish, I hope and pray and wish that you would not ignore this. Don't take it lightly. Friends, I urge you today to go read Matthew 24. Read the 24th chapter of Matthew. It's serious and it's important. Especially now in this time in history, it's serious. The days of Noah serve as a prophetic warning to all of us. Right here in our time. The moral decay, the rejection of God's truth, that was Noah's day. And it's here today, evident, today. And Jesus said that just as the flood came suddenly, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man. My friends, today, now is the time to enter that ark of salvation. And that ark of salvation is Jesus Christ. And we must remain remain steadfast and firm, holy and committed to God's word, preparing ourselves and others for the coming of the Lord. My friends, these are the days of Noah. I cannot tell you and push that enough. And he tells us to go you therefore and teach all nations. No, what are you waiting for? Get up and get out there and be teaching these people that these are the days of Noah. Don't make that mistake that God's playing because he ain't. You know, about half of Matthew 24 deals with signs of the coming of Jesus Christ. Matthew 24, 42 is telling us to stay awake. Be ready. Be alert. Keep watch. However, you want to translate that, amen. However, you want to think those words would mean, be familiar with what you're waiting for. That means get in the word of God. Be familiar with what you're waiting for. Read Matthew 24 and Revelation. Know the Word of God and what He's telling you, what He's telling you to watch for. It's all right there. And people, above any and all, be faithful in your watch. It won't do you any good to watch for a while and quit. You need to stay focused. You see, the devil can't take you out. So what he wants to try to do is wire you out. You know, he wants to wire you down and make you tired. He can't take you out personally, but he can make you tired. He don't want you watching. He don't want you ready. He don't want none of us ready. Amen. I'm telling you today, don't get tired. Don't let the devil make you tired. Listen, in Matthew 24, Matthew 24, 43 and 44, Jesus said, He said, But know this that if the master of the house had known what time of night the thief would come, he would have stayed awake and he wouldn't let his house be broken into. He said, So people therefore be ready. And at such hour as you think not, the Son of Man cometh. I don't know what everything else, I don't know what else he has to tell us. Friends, I don't know understand what else he has to say to us to make us understand this. I'm asking you today, children of God, please get yourself ready. Watch and pray. Spread the gospel and try to get others ready too. You know? And if there's any sinners listening to me today, and you feel that little bitty tug on your heart, and you want that, you hear that little bitty voice of conviction telling you that it's time to get ready. Because people, you're not promised tomorrow. You're not promised later today, you're not promised tonight. Because he's coming. He's coming. He's warned us over and over and over again in his word that he is coming back. And he's done everything in his word that he says he's gonna do. Friends, don't doubt him now. I'm telling you, Matthew 24, Jesus has warned us of what's to come. And friends, some of it's already here. And we can't say we weren't warned. Matthew 24 and 33 tells us that when we see all these things, that it's near. Even at the doors. You know. And if we don't get ourselves ready, this could be you and me. We could be those unbelievers living in the days of Noah. They didn't believe that the flood was coming, they weren't ready. They didn't believe it. People are gonna be eating and drinking and buying and selling and planting and building, just doing normal things with no thought or no clue, caught off guard. And I'm gonna tell you now, Hebrews 12 and 31 says that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Friends, brothers and sisters, don't ignore this. Don't ignore this chapter. Please get into this. Don't don't take it lightly. There's coming upon us the most difficult and challenging days ever for Christian people. And I plead with you. I'm pleading with you to read it, reread it, reread it again and read it some more. Let it sink in. Study it, pray over it. And just know that Jesus Christ is not lying. He is warning us right now. And you need to believe. Friends, you may be a part of this last generation of God's people on this earth that sees every one of these verses come true. Just like Jesus said. You may be a part of it. And you may not. And if you're not a part of it, then your children and your grandchildren and your friends and your brothers and your sisters in your church, they will be a part of it. And it's your responsibility to tell them about Matthew 24. That way they'll know how to get ready. Maybe you can encourage them how to get ready. That way they can be ready for the coming of the Son of Man, too. And friends, this isn't fiction. It's fact. You and me, all of us, could be living in the general. That will see the rapture of the church, the tribulation, the Antichrist, and the coming of Jesus Christ. And I'm asking you now, are you ready? Are you alert? Are you watching and are you praying? Because you don't know what day or hour your Lord comes. And I'm telling you now, if he's not your Lord now, he will be when he gets here. Trust me on that. And with all the authority, it will be all his authority to send you into your eternity, wherever that may be. And that, my friends, is telling you you need to get ready. You need to get your family ready. Friends, I'm telling you today, you need to get ready. And if there's sinners listen to me today, you need to get yourself ready. You need to listen to the Lord. Listen to that little bitty tug. Get yourself ready. I hope and pray that this has helped someone. I hope and pray that this has got into somebody's heart. I hope and pray that you go back and you read Matthew 24, the whole chapter. Read it 24 to 25 and just listen to the words and take them in. And like I said, reread it. Read it over and over and over again. Anything that you have to do to get this word in your heart and listen to it, my friends, listen to it. Spread it to your family. That way they can be ready. They can spread it onto their friends and their family and your brothers and your sisters. Friends, today this is a serious thing. Because time is winding up. And it is coming back again someday. And you know what? The signs of the times, I don't even think about the signs of the times anymore. Now I'm just listening for the sound of the trumpet. Anytime now. It could be any time, any day, any second. Because like I said earlier, we're not promised tomorrow. We're not promised tonight. We're not promised this evening. My friends, I'm here to tell you somebody needs to listen to this and listen to it now. Now is the time to get ready. Now is the time to stop playing. Now is the time to get serious in your relationship with God, in your prayer life, in your spreading of the gospel. Now is the time to get serious. Because he told us in his words that everybody's not going to go. The Bible even says, many are called, if you are chosen. I'm telling you, now is the time to get ready. I plead with you. I beg you. If I have to beg you, I'll beg you. I plead, people, now is the time to get ready. That's all I have on this. I hope and pray this has blessed someone. I hope it's blessed you as much as it's blessed me to bring it to you. And I hope and pray that you've let these words go back. You don't have to take my word for it. Go back and read Matthew 24. Read the book of Revelation. And if that don't get you ready, if that don't make you want to be ready, then something's something's wrong. My friends, I hope this has blessed you as much as it's blessed me to bring it to you. I appreciate you and thank you for listening. Everybody have a blessed day. I'm going to close with a prayer. Our Father God in heaven, Lord, I thank you, Lord, for these words and these warnings and these many words that you've given us, Lord. I thank you for the many blessings that you bestowed upon us. We thank you, Lord, up above for your word that we can stand on, that we can believe, that we can open up and be ready for what's coming down. And we thank you for the many, many prayers and the many, many, the grace and the salvation that you have bestowed upon us. Lord, I ask you to just let these words go to somebody's heart today that needs to hear it. Let them open up their hearts and their minds, Lord, and make them let themselves want to have a better walk with you, a better prayer life with you, spreading the gospel, getting their families ready, their friends ready, their neighbors. Let these people open up their hearts and minds and realize that it's time. That it's time to get ready. That it's time to get out there and get to it and to quit playing. Lord, I ask you to bless each and everybody that's hearing this today. Go with them and lead them and guide them. We thank you for everything. We praise you and we honor you. We ask you to forgive us for all of our sins. Thank you, Jesus, for everything. Amen and amen. God bless everybody.
