CCOG Sunday Morning service with Bishop John Carter Stop Chasing A Word And Open One
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We challenge the flood of spiritual noise by returning to 1 Thessalonians 5 and learning to test every voice against Scripture. We call the church to rise with courage, care for the hurting, and live a faith that can be proven in real life.
• discerning the spirits of the age and refusing noise-driven faith
• returning to the Word instead of chasing constant “words”
• honoring church leadership and restoring reverence for God’s house
• resisting cultural pressure to hide, blend in, or stay silent
• warning the unruly with love and urgency about eternity
• comforting the discouraged and lifting people in depression and fear
• supporting the weak and carrying burdens together
• choosing patience, refusing vengeance, and practicing forgiveness
• rejoicing, praying without ceasing, and giving thanks in hardship
• not quenching the Holy Spirit through small disobedience
• not despising prophecy while testing everything by Scripture
• proving faith by fruit, holiness, and staying close to the church

Respect For Church Leadership
SPEAKER_03But oh church, listen to me today. If you don't get to hear me ever again, listen to me today. It's time that we be more careful than ever about the spirits of this world and the spirit of this age. God led me about 30 minutes ago to 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. In a world where seemingly anything goes, and everything goes, I believe it's time for the church to arise and be the church again. The holy entity that God has called us to be, separate from this world. We're not better than them, we're just better off than them. But God has really been dealing with my heart for several days, maybe even weeks, concerning voices. And I am as Pentecostal as they come. You cut me open, I bleed Church of God. I got a Church of God logo coaster in my office. I got a Church of God lapel pen somewhere. I got a t-shirt to prove it. I got certificates on my wall down the hallway there to prove it. I'm as Pentecostal as they come. I'm as holiness as they come. And I appreciate it and I love it. But oh God, every voice that speaks isn't God. In an age where everybody's running everywhere to get a word, I'm so sick of hearing a word. If you want a word, go to the word. And you don't gotta run all over tarnation to find a word. You'll get a word if you'll open the word. Now there's one part of this that I want to drive home. Amen. Turn with me. First Thessalonians, I want you to go with me. If you don't have your Bible, it's conveniently on the screen. Shame on me. Just keeps people from bringing their Bibles. You need to bring the Word of God with you to church. I don't have a Bible. Come see me. We'll get you one. And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you. I could preach a week right there on know them which labor among you. You gotta know, try the spirits, whether they be of God. You gotta know what's moving in your midst. You know, there's times that I believe that we get so caught up in the noise that we can't hear God in the stillness. We get so caught up in the movement that we can't hear God in the quiet place. I know some of y'all are reading a book called The Secret Place, then you know what I'm talking about. I've not read the first page, I plan to, but I know what the secret place is. Amen. And we're protected and we're sheltered in the secret place. Know them which labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you. Keep going. And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Stop right here and be at peace among you. Be at peace among yourselves. We live in a day where the offices of the church need to go back to being the offices of the church. There is a five-fold ministry of the church that I still believe is still in operation today. A lot of people don't want to talk about the five-fold ministry of the church. I didn't come to do that today. But there are still offices in the church that should be esteemed with respect. And there should be things about the church that still should be seen with respect and with love and with fear. And what I mean by fear is reverence. There was a time that the house of God and the people of God were reverenced. I remember when I first got saved, uh, people wouldn't cuss around you because you're as a Christian. Now they talk every kind of language coming and going, and there's no respect for God's people anymore. It could be because we're incognito, it could be because the church has gone into hiding. We still we've gone in hiding. We've wilted to the culture, we've wilted to everybody now having a voice. We've wilted in fear that we might offend or upset or run off. My goal is never to offend you, upset you, or run you off. That is never my goal. I tell Leanne regularly, I never plan to upset you. Ever. It just seems to me I'm so good at it. Sometimes I have to stop her in the heat of the moment and say, I didn't plan to upset you. Which upsets her. My goal is for not only you to be sitting here, but your family to be sitting here. Your sons and your daughters to be sitting here. Your grandchildren, that's why, and I'm going to speak it as though it's already happened. That's why our new sanctuary, paid in full, is going to accommodate your family. I'm not trying to grow a big church.
SPEAKER_01I'm trying to make heaven full.
SPEAKER_03We've wilted. Afraid that we're going to offend a Democrat or a Republican. Afraid that we're going to offend a liberal or a conservative. Afraid that we're going to offend this one or that one. Amen. We totally changed how we did this thing when a virus came on the spot. That was a dress rehearsal and a test run of what's really coming. And I'll be honest with you, I'm afraid. I'm afraid we didn't make such good of a grade. Because we wilted, we went into hiding. We went into hiding both figuratively and literally. We put masks on our faces. Amen. And then and listen, I get it. The disease was deadly. It killed people. And I hate it, and I'm sorry, and I truly am. My heart goes out to those affected by it. I mean that with all of my heart. I'm not taking that lightly, but I shouldn't have to give that disclaimer either. Amen. We were roping off bleachers and we were putting stickers on the floor. Leanne's mother had surgery this week, and we were in that hospital, and I looked, and so help me God, there was still a six-foot sticker on the floor from me to the vending machine. I said, I can't reach it. I couldn't reach it. The sticker was there, the vending machine was there, I couldn't get to it. It was a dress rehearsal. It was the enemy seeing, in my opinion, the enemy seeing what kind of strength and backbone the church had. So then we've come on stronger now. Amen. With the prosperity gospel, which our Sunday school teacher shared with us today, some, about how the Bible says, when you give and when you pray and when you fast. Amen. And we hear a lot of when you give, but we don't hear a lot of when you pray or a lot of when you fast. Amen. It still requires prayer and fasting and giving. Amen. And we've wilted and we've we went into hiding. And we we've completely now we're we're we're we're supporting we're supporting online ministries and we're supporting uh ministries here, there, and everywhere that's not gonna come to the hospital and see you, by the way. They're not gonna come to your funeral or your loved one's funeral. The local church is still a vital part of this world, and we need to get back to making the local church what the local church is. I'm not against rehabs, I'm not against stepped programs, I'm not against drug court, I'm not against this, and not against that, not against uh we got folks who work in those avenues here, and I appreciate what they do, but we have trusted a system to do what only Jesus is able to do. Amen. I believe there's some people in this room that methamphetamine should have taken you out, heroin should have taken you out, oxycottin should have taken you out, but the system didn't save you, Jesus did, and he's still the oldest one, the only one who can. Amen. We can sit down and read books, grab hands and sing to my, but it still takes the blood that they were singing, it still takes Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Where's the church? Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, let the redeemed of the Lord say so, let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
Warn The Unruly About Eternity
SPEAKER_03Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly. Why is everybody looking down? I say warn them that are unruly, and everybody's like, warn them that are unruly. Anybody in here ever been unruly today? Warn them. There's a few things, a few steps I'm gonna give you today that God wants us to do as a church. Number one, warn them. Warn them. Warn them. Jesus is coming. The Lord is coming. Just any day now, the Lord is coming. Just any day now, the clouds are gonna split. And standing on the cloud of glory will be Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Warn them that Jesus is warn them, hell is real, hell is for the ungodly, hell is for the unruly. Our job is to warn them.
SPEAKER_03Warn them. Warn them. Warn them. That when Jesus died for the sins of the world, it wasn't at that point everybody gets to go to heaven. And I'm afraid that's the misconception across the land. Oh, they're in heaven. I don't think so. You're nobody's judge, preacher. No, I'm not. But the fruit of their labor tells me that that might not be so. That we are in the hands of a just God. I do believe that. I give you one I believe in deathbed repentance. I believe somebody can get saved right now, die in 30 seconds, and make the same heaven that Moses, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Martha, everybody.
SPEAKER_01I believe you can get saved now and die in a second and make it to the same heaven.
Comfort The Discouraged With Care
SPEAKER_03Jump through hoops. You just got to be born again. Warn them that are unruly. Now I love you. Tell me you love me too. Thank you. That's what you're supposed to do. I love you. Thank you. I didn't know any better. I think you're just repeating after me. Some of you unruly. Let me rephrase that rock. Ain't some of us unruly. The holiest of person in this room has a tendency to be unruly. Now we live in a world that wants to see how close to the world they can live and still go to heaven. They want to see how close to the line of hell they can get and still make heaven. Amen. I'm telling you right now, this living for Jesus is the greatest thing I've ever experienced. Amen. I don't want this world, nothing this world's got. Amen. The world can go, as the old song says, I'll stand for Jesus and let the world go by. Amen. I don't want anything this world's got. It can't go with me, and I don't want it. Warn them. Say, I will warn them. That's your job. Number two, comfort the feeble-minded. Don't shake your fist at them. I said, don't shake your in a world of fist shaking. Right fighting. I'm right, you're wrong. You know how many pulpits today is going to assassinate innocent people in their in their altars because they're preaching out of feelings. And not out of anointing. And they're going to assassinate innocent people that don't even have a clue what they're talking about. We're to comfort one another. We live in a world that people don't want to talk about comforting people anymore. Amen. See, Tucker, when Tucker's along the way, come here, Tucker, and get in the floor right there, bae. Come on, help me out, brother. One of these days I ain't gonna be able to use you no more. When Tucker's laying on the ground and he's down and he's discouraged, and he's ready to throw in the towel, and he's ready to quit. Look at me like that's not been you at some point or another. Look at me like you've never been at that place where you is ready to show. What's the use? You were ready to go back to the things this world had to offer. You can drink it away, smoke it away, snort it away, shoot it up away. You can do it away, do away with it with the ways of this world. I'm here to tell you there's nothing to go back to.
SPEAKER_01The world didn't give it to you, and the world can't take it. There's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing.
SPEAKER_03Come here, son. Here's the church. The undignified. Ain't that what your shirt said? Theirs does. Yours is supposed to. He's unruly. It was too small. It's too little. Mama washed it and dried it. Man. No, I probably did. I've been doing a lot of the laundry lately. Praise the Lord. Here's the church. Here's somebody down in the discouragement. Depression. Anxiety. Fear. You know what a lot of people want to do? They want to keep us there. Don't even realize they're keeping us there. They mean well, but they're keeping us there. The church. Boom over your shoulder. That right there. That right there. Kayla washed and dried his too. There you go. Camera ain't on that angle. Just the ring camera. I won't look. That right there is what the church does. Picks them up, throws them over the shoulder. Jesus left the 99 to find the one. And when he found the one, he came back to the 99 and said, Look what I found!
SPEAKER_01I found the woman that was lost. I found the woman that was down and out. That's been you and you and you and you. And thanks me unto God. The church found us and lifted us up. Picks us up. Does not leave us.
Support The Weak In Battle
SPEAKER_03You know what a lot of us do? Step over them and keep on going while adjusting our churchiness. Thank you, boys. Comfort. Comfort. Comfort. Comfort. Support the weak. Brother Jamie, as long as your hands are up in battle, you win. But the minute they come down, you lose. And Jamie, even in Brother Jamie, even in his best efforts, even in his strongest of efforts, over time, the weight of the world and the weight of things of this life start to weigh him down to where he can't, in the natural, keep his hands up and he becomes weak and his arms go down.
SPEAKER_01That is when God needs the church to come back. That's when the church goes up, gets up under his arms, lifts him up, filthy and dream. Support!
Patience And Refusing Revenge
SPEAKER_03Support support. Support. Support. Get under him. Support him. Get under them and support 'em. While the weight of the world is weighing them. You're getting under them and you're supporting them and you're holding them up, and you're being the strong person. Got a bottle of oil sitting up there. Jesus does not have a bottle of patience to say, I think I'm going to dump some patience on Sister Serena. She looks like she needs a little patience. Let me dump some on her. No, he's going to put her in a place where she can't do anything about the situation she's in, and the only thing she can do is wait on the Lord. Don't fail the test of patience because God is not going to give you patience. He's going to put you in a situation where you got to be patient. He's going to let you experience situations where you have to be patient. And once you come to that realization, the prophet Isaiah said, as Lords of the Lord spoke through him, he who waits upon the Lord shall renew his strength. He shall mount up with wings as eagles. He shall run and not be weary. He shall walk and not faint. Next verse. See that none render evil for evil. I'm gonna get them. What they did to me, I'll get them when they're least expecting it. I'll get them. I can tell you now he's gone to heaven. My dad had a hard time with vengeance. And letting God do that. Somebody robbed his store one time. Amen. Somebody robbed his house one time. And it took God to teach him to let him handle it. Because his ways will mess you up. That's the first person that comes to my mind when I think of that. So what I'm telling you is this when somebody does you wrong, you don't repay evil with evil. You don't wrong them because they wronged you. We got any mamas in the house. What happens when they cross your baby? Come on, somebody. Come on. What happens when they cross your baby? You do, you forget the you forget all of the New Testament. And you go straight back to the Old Testament, and you start living by the law, baby. We're living by the law. You did my baby wrong, we're living by the law. Come on. I've seen how some of you act. I've seen moms when when baby was mistreated, and then come on, I've seen it. I had one. I think for some people it's probably a good thing she ain't with us no more. Man, because she'd fight you almost. But but I that's how moms are. They they they're they're they're they're they're the claws come out and they're ready to, you know, go all Leviticus on you. Amen. But you don't render evil for evil. I tell you, when you know it's God is when you can love the ones who do you wrong. You know what God's been doing in me lately? He's been making me feel plum sorry for people. Plum sorry. You taught me that. Plum, that means a lot of sorry. I feel all kinds of sorry for him because truly, when when when when Stephen was being stoned, Stephen was being stoned by the Sanhedrin council, the law people, the Old Testament people. They were stoning him for preaching the gospel. They put him on the witness stand. And you know what he did with the witness stand? He took the witness stand and he turned it into a pulpit. And he looked at that Sanhedrin council, knowing that they had the power to kill him.
SPEAKER_01And he said, You uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do resist the power of the Holy Ghost. He started, and I believe he said it just like that. He said, You resist the Holy Ghost, you don't listen to the Spirit, you don't pay attention to the Spirit, and here you put me on the witness stand, I think I'll turn it into a pulpit and preach a minute.
Rejoice, Pray, And Give Thanks
SPEAKER_03They stoned him, they took him inside the city and they stoned him. You know what he said while he was going down in his death? Forgive them, Father, because he looked up into heaven, and you know what he saw? He saw Jesus at the right hand. Amen. No, no, he didn't just see him at the right hand. He was what he saw Jesus standing at the right hand. You know what that means? Jesus was giving this man a standing ovation for taking his stand for the gospel. You take your stand for the gospel, you'll get a standing ovation by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Amen. And he said, Father, forgive them. They don't know what they're doing. What did Jesus say on the cross? Father, forgive them. Or they know not what they do. I believe God has put that down in my heart. Lord, they don't even know what they're doing, they're resisting the Holy Ghost. Because listen to me, church, when it's not of God, it will come to naught. But when it is of God, I said, when it is of God, every devil in hell can't stop it, nor can they overthrow it. But every, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all men. Oh, I'm trying to get you out of here to beat the crowd. Rejoice evermore. Rejoice evermore. Are there days you don't feel like rejoicing? Rejoice anyway.
SPEAKER_01Hey, I have found that when I didn't feel like it, if I just lift my hands and fake it till I make it, eventually I would find myself rejoicing in the Lord.
SPEAKER_03You're not always gonna feel like a revival service. It's not always gonna be a grand slam home running kind of service. There's gonna be times that you're gonna have to, and what do I mean by fake it till you make it? You're gonna have to get up and get dressed even when you don't feel like it.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna have to smile when you don't feel like you're gonna have to go when you don't feel like it. You're gonna have to do even when you don't feel like it.
SPEAKER_03Rejoice evermore. Keep going. Pray without ceasing. That means don't stop. Don't ever stop praying. Don't ever stop praying. Rejoice always and never stop praying. In everything, give thanks. In everything, give thanks. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Hold on, hold on, stop right there. In everything, give thanks. Why do we automatically think of good things? It's easy to give thanks in good things, right? Right? Everything going good right now for everybody? It's easy to give thanks then. How about when things start turning left when you thought it was gonna go right? How about when somebody Facebook assassinates you?
SPEAKER_02Give thanks. Give thanks. What about when somebody does something to your child?
Do Not Quench The Spirit
SPEAKER_03Give thanks. What about when what about when the money's gone? Give thanks. What about when the doctor report wasn't so good? Give thanks. Emily and Jake, I I would apologize to you, but when I walked out of the ER the other day, and they had just told him that his leg was fractured, I walked out the door and I gave thanks. Not that his leg was hurt, but that God's gonna get glory out of this somehow. Somewhere. Some way. We don't get to turn off giving thanks because it didn't go our way. We give thanks that we had a doctor to see, we had an x-ray to be given. We had a way for it to be fixed and to be caught to be seen and to be this and to be that and to be another. And this might bring a healing. And not just a healing of the leg, although I'm expecting that too. This might bring a healing of a soul that sees the healing of the leg and sees the glory of God and in turn turns to God because the glory of God has been seen. When I pray for you to be healed, I don't pray for you to be healed so you can go about your way and forget about your healing in three days. I pray for you to be healed that somebody may see and believe and know that the hand of God has moved in your life and in your situation. We've got to be walking testimonies. You have a testimony that will win the lost. It will win somebody. Even if it's won, it's worth it. Quench not the capital S. Quench not the spirit. You know, when the Spirit of God forbids you to do something, and it's oh so small, and you sit there and you don't do it. Did you know that's a form of quenching? Spirit. Quench not the spirit. You may hold the key to something breaking loose, not only in your life, but in the lives of those around you. You may hold the key to a next great move of God right here at this church. That's why you've got to be sensitive to the Spirit. You've got to listen. Now, I'm not talking about goofiness. Listen to me right now. I can't stand goofiness. I wish God spoke to me as much as some people around here say he speaks to them. I'm either out of tune and you're really in tune, and you need to explain to me what's going on. Very few times in my life have I heard God speak. One thing I learned from the Presbyterian church on the hill is that God has already spoken. And anytime God speaks, it will line up with that right there. Every single time. But not everything is super duper whomper stomper over the top spiritual. It might be God showed you that lid so you'd bend your big self over and pick it up and throw it in the garbage can. It's called litter. It's called litter. It's called litter. Pick it up, throw it away. That's what God was speaking. Not that the next person in your life is going to be wearing red because that lid's red.
SPEAKER_02Just pick it up and throw it away.
Prophecy Needs Scripture And Humility
Prove It, Hold Fast, Live Holy
SPEAKER_03Pick it up and throw it away. 20. Despise not prophesying. This is where I want to go. Just for a moment. He said not to despise. Here's why Paul, Paul was writing this letter to the Thessalonians. And here's the difference in the letter to the Corinthians that we're going over on Wednesday, on Wednesday nights, and the letter to the Thessalonians. The Corinthians were accepting false teachers. So he had to write two letters back to them to correct everything they were, they were, to, they were undoing, and he was sending them two letters to correct them and tell them how to correct what they were undoing. The Thessalonians, on the other hand, this was on his second missionary journey, and he wrote this two letters to them too. But he wrote these two letters to them while he was in Corinth, actually, and he wrote these letters back to them, and he sent Timothy, I think, with them to give them and to deliver them. But to his surprise and to his pleasure, he found that the Thessalonians were doing good. Hey, y'all are doing good. Keep it up. He thought maybe that they were following suit with the Corinthian church and were allowing false teachers and that, but he found out Timothy came back and said, Paul, you won't believe it. They're doing what you said. So these are his final words in the first letter to encourage them and to help them along the way. He's just concluding with exhortations and uplifting and encouraging words. But here's why he said, despise not prophesying and why it fits today. We don't need to despise prophesyings because prophecy is still real. God is still speaking in this hour. God is not afar off. God is not quiet. God is still speaking. But he knew there would come a time that people would start despising prophesyings because everybody would say, Thus saith the Lord. I'm judging right now. And I believe we got to show grace to people and forgive people and move on and whatever. Even when we prophesy, y'all, listen to me, there is a flesh element of who we are. We have the ability to miss it. Because we're flesh. No, around here we write people off automatically that give a false word. It's not that they intentionally gave a false word. The element of their flesh got involved in what the Spirit was trying to say. It happens. But when we were prophesying precedence in 2020, I don't care if it's taken, I don't care if it's rigged, I don't care if it's robbed, it didn't happen. And it was prophesied that it was gonna happen, and it didn't happen. Because we're too busy prophesying and prophaly, I mean, and we're trying, we've turned prophecy into a marketing strategy. Amen. As our Sunday school teacher said, on TV we're doing, we're we're doing gibathons or or or or uh uh you know where people call and give, call and give, but but but but we're not seeing them praying around the clock, we're not seeing them push the plate back and not eat. Amen. Because we've marketed the church, and in turn we've watered it down. But let me tell you something, folks. There is a real word that comes from heaven, and we've got to be ready to hear it, to receive it, and to walk in it. I struggle with people that will call Sister Sally sanctified, or brother Bob better than you. They'll call them on the phone or they'll go knock on their door to get a word. And they never, even the first time, cracked it open to see what it says. I'm not telling you to get not to get people to pray for you, get people to pray for you. Get people to pray for you. That's fine. Go to their house, let them lay hands on you, that's good. Call them on the phone, let them pray with you over the phone, that's good. But before you do that, hey, before you do that, go here. Go here. Anybody in this room that studies the word of God, you know there's power in the word of God. It'll reveal things to you that that you that's never been revealed to you before in your life because you went and found it for yourself. We've got people, I read on pullover praise this morning, Psalm 107, 20. Amen. That the word of God came and healed them. How do I get healed? The word of God will come to you, heal you. But the word of God's already come to you. You've got to open the thing and read it for yourself, and the word of God will heal you. You know why people aren't healed? They don't know what the word of God says. I can't imagine living life without a regular devotion life, a part of who I am. Despise not prophesying. Play. Play. Next. Prove all things. Prove all things. Prove all things. If any of you listen to what I sent concerning the leadership, the leadership 300, the first one I sent you, called The Proof is in the pudding. Amen. And what'd he tell you? He said the proof is in the pudding came because what it was, the proof is in the tasting. Because it was sausages put inside of a casing. And in order to prove it to be good, the only way you could prove it was to taste it. Now let's tell the truth today. We always thought that the proof was in the pudding meant chocolate pudding in a cup, didn't we? The proof is in the tasting. We got to prove things. We say we believe in healing, let's prove it. We say we're the church of God, then when people walk in this house, they ought to be able to find God. Church of, then when I go in, I hope I can find. We believe it's right there in the vestibule. We believe in divine healing. Then let's lay hands on the sick and watch them recover. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost, subsequent to a clean heart. What's that mean? Holy Ghost ain't living in something dirty. Vile, spotted. Prove all things. Prove all things. If you say you're a child of God, prove it.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna walk the walk, talk the talk, live the life, prove it, prove it.
Avoid Evil And Stay Connected
Easter Vision And Standing Firm
SPEAKER_03Hold fast to that which is good. Hold fast to that which is good. Last. I'm gonna send you home on that and put that over, girls. Tires rotated. An alignment issue. That'll preach. Look, look, look, young people, young people. I'm gonna get to you old people in a minute. We young people got something to talk about real quick. Abstain from all appearance of evil. If you know that it's wrong, stay away from it. I might be a tad bit too old school in some things. But when you're a young person, especially, really everybody, but especially the young people that get saved, that come to the altar and pray and give their hearts to Jesus, I you can't lay out a month. I'm a strong Christian preacher. No, no, you're an excuse maker. You get somewhere. I've told you before, folks, when I'm out of church, two services in a row, which is very seldom, I feel it. Getting on me. What do you feel? Getting on you, preacher, mean, unruly. I feel unruliness coming all upon me. Because this is called assembling yourselves together. As manner of such is. And we can't forsake or forget to do that. Yeah, you can be saved at home. You should be saved at home. This is where we strengthen one another. It's like the picture I saw of the little uh deer out there by itself. And there was a little bubble coming from its head that said, I can live this outside the church. And then it had a wolf coming at it, while about 10 other deer were over here in a congregated together. And it said, The next time you think you can do this without the church, best wishes to you. We gotta have one another. We gotta have one another. Comfort one another, strengthen one another, support one another. Amen. Pray without ceasing. Rejoice evermore. Don't despise prophet signs. But quit running here, there, and ever, because you're gonna get some, listen. You're gonna you what you're gonna do is you're gonna get a contradictory word. You're gonna get a word that don't line up with the word, and you're gonna get two people you really like that give you two opposite words, and you're trying some way in your little feeble mind to figure out how they go together and tie in together. They don't. I can't I'm telling I'm I'm prophetically speaking to somebody. I'm giving somebody a word today. They don't, they don't go together because it's not a word from the word. Don't despise prophesying. Know those who labor among you. Amen. Easter's coming. Two weeks from today, this place will be packed. I'm gonna give my seat to somebody. We're gonna put as many seats as we can in this sanctuary, hoping that by next Easter, believing, no, by next Easter in the name of Jesus, we're gonna have room for anybody in Harlan County who wants to come to this place. Amen. I believe with all of my heart. I believe. And you know what I love even more? You know what I love even more? Is when the devil comes and says, Hey, the population of Harlan County is going down. People are leaving here, and here you are wanting to build a ho ho ho. If it's of God, it'll go. And I believe with all of my heart, God is doing something special in the 40815. And I want to be a part of it. Devils aren't gonna like it. Devils are gonna try to stop it, devils are gonna accuse falsely. You know what I've already decided? When these Facebook posts start, I'm gonna start sharing them. The ones about me? I'm gonna share them. Can you believe this preacher? Can you believe this guy? I'm gonna share them. Because what it's gonna do is gonna cause people to come to Kwood to see what's going on. Because there's a fire down in our souls that we can't contain and that we can't control. We are a people that says, I want more of you, God. I want more. Easter, the resurrection, the whole basis of what we stand on. He rose from the dead. If he had stayed the grave, there wouldn't be a church. But he got up on the third day because the grave could not hold him. Stand with me. Abstain, older people, abstain from the appear from all appearance of evil.
