testimony of God, for I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified, and I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my speech and my People that just were thirsty and hungry and desperate for revival, and a group of them prayed and prayed and prayed and God sent them a black preacher. 00:14:04.863 --> 00:14:17.898 He had started here in Houston but because of racial hatred here, discrimination, segregation, they wouldn't let him inside the church. 00:14:17.898 --> 00:14:26.480 He was one of the first to receive the baptism of to have Protestants, you know. 00:18:45.996 --> 00:18:47.401 Yeah, that was a Catholic priest. 00:18:47.401 --> 00:18:57.385 Martin Luther was a Catholic priest who basically rebelled against the pope and the hierarchy of indulgences for sale. 00:18:57.385 --> 00:19:13.105 You could buy indulgences and he's the one that nailed the accusation to the cathedral in weems, to the front door and said there's salvation through, by grace, through faith alone, not by works. 00:19:13.105 --> 00:19:18.815 And of course the Roman church had obliterated itself. 00:19:18.815 --> 00:19:29.907 I mean, the Roman church and the church of England, both had just gone south on salvation by works and being, you know, getting your holiness through all the things that you do yourself. 00:19:29.907 --> Pentecostal churches built fences around the revelation and there was strife and division and you had, you know, this one and that one, oregon. 00:19:56.461 --> 00:19:57.084 That's what happens. 00:19:57.084 --> 00:20:07.805 So revivals are true, but then man takes over and wants to build a fence around it and kind of preserve it instead of going on with God, instead of saying, hey, god, 00:20:25.981 The Pentecostal churches wouldn't have people like oil Roberts Pentecostal holiness is where his background was and they didn't want him because they didn't agree with his doctrine. persecuted enough to where they had to come out because the hierarchy wouldn't accept it. 00:21:42.538 --> 00:21:49.397 But God got a harvest of hungry and thirsty people by the demonstration of the
