there never was an age of miracles. 00:01:38.787 --> 00:01:49.367 You have some old bed teaching theologians and so forth that try to sell you on the idea that the age of miracles is over now. Now I think about Psalm 78, the very next Psalm. 00:02:20.328 --> 00:02:23.340 Here it talks about just a terrible indictment of Israel. 00:02:23.340 --> 00:02:29.158 It said that they forgot his wonders in Egypt and they limited the Holy one of Israel. 00:02:29.158 --> 00:02:35.301 You know they didn't see the kinds of wonders that they could have seen Now. 00:02:35.301 --> 00:02:41.216 They saw some great ones, but a lot of the wonders that they saw were corrective. 00:02:41.216 --> 00:02:47.274 A lot of the wonders they saw were God expressing his displeasure at their sin. 00:02:47.274 --> 00:03:03.932 So let's number ourselves among those who choose to remember his wonders, and when I'm talking about his wonders, I don't even certainly his wonders of old, what's in the Bible, but he's done wonders in your life. 00:03:03.932 --> 00:03:07.769 The greatest thing, I think the biggest wonder I've ever had, was that I was born again. 00:03:07.769 --> 00:03:09.449 I don't forget that. 00:03:09.449 --> 00:03:24.156 I remember it quite frequently and at this time of the year I usually retrench and I go away to pray which I did again last December of 2022, and to find out what God was saying about 2023. 00:03:24.156 --> 00:03:26.933 And he says 2023 is the year of God's power. 00:03:26.933 --> 00:03:35.894 I expect to see wonders, and I was going over some of the wonders fresh and keep ourselves stirred up, because we are in a tide of lies and deception. 00:03:53.915 --> 00:04:05.216 Just, you know, the I mean I watched about two minutes of the state of the about somebody at somebody other country fattening himself on the back? 00:04:14.069 --> 00:04:17.528 Acts, chapter two. 00:04:17.528 --> 00:04:19.312 We just need to hold on to the truth. --> 00:05:25.411 So on the day of Pentecost, which was really the beginning of the church, the beginning of the Holy Ghost taking up residence all over the earth, he's everywhere present and we're in the church age. 00:05:25.411 --> 00:05:28.814 That age is rapidly drawing to a close. 00:05:28.814 --> 00:05:34.615 There'll be a day when the church is taken off of the face of the earth, and it'll be a different time. 00:05:34.615 --> 00:05:38.331 They're a different age, but right now we live in that age. 00:05:38.331 --> 00:05:48.139 And so the prophet Joel, here at Peter, is quoting and he's saying this is the beginning of that. 00:05:48.139 --> 00:05:59.427 Amplified says this is the beginning of that which was prophesied by Joel, and so if this was the beginning of that, then we're coming into the culmination of that spoken by the prophet Joel. 00:05:59.427 --> 00:06:05.985 I will show wonders in the heavens, above signs, in the earth, beneath blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 00:06:07.420 --> 00:06:29.494 So in 1982, I hadn't been saved very long maybe a year and I had come out of a time of business reversal and God opened the door for us to travel as a family, and Glass and I and Jay and Claire traveled to Los Angeles. 00:06:29.494 --> 00:06:33.480 Actually, we were in Anaheim for the World Convention of Full Gospel Businessmen. 00:06:33.480 --> 00:06:35.747 We were staying in a hotel there. 00:06:35.747 --> 00:06:49.620 Shuttle would take us to the meetings every day, and one evening, when we got back to the hotel room, it's probably 10 o'clock, the kids are in bed and Gladys is in bed and I just really was too wound up to sleep. 00:06:49.620 --> 00:06:54.060 I'm just so full of the words, so full of all these wonderful speakers. 00:06:54.060 --> 00:06:56.660 We had all the great speakers of the day. 00:06:56.660 --> 00:07:02.839 We had Pat Robertson and Kenneth Copeland and Paul Yonky-Choe, and I could go on and on. 00:07:03.060 --> 00:07:14.579 We just it was a tremendous convention people from all over the world there, and I stepped out of the room onto the balcony and looked up in that Southern California sky. 00:07:14.579 --> 00:07:18.490 Here we are in Anaheim and here's this blood moon. 00:07:18.490 --> 00:07:28.259 And I just start weeping because I was immediately reminded of these verses and I was looking at a blood moon and I just thought you know, god, this is a sign. 00:07:28.259 --> 00:07:34.370 Here we are, you know we're here and you're letting me know that we're living in a pivotal time. 00:07:34.370 --> 00:07:55.399 And so, and then, of course, just 22 years later, right down the street, you know, just a few miles down from there, is Newport Beach, where, in the future, oral Roberts retired and had his vision of the wake up call which we've been talking about recently. 00:07:55.480 --> 00:08:02.975 And Oral Roberts vision, you know, he heard the Lord say the church is not ready for the second coming, but out of that he's. 00:08:02.975 --> 00:08:12.800 Before that, he saw this huge cloud and he said I was reminded of the cloud in Acts, chapter two, and Joel, chapter three blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 00:08:12.800 --> 00:08:27.620 It was a massive cloud over New York in his vision and it wasn't touching the ground, and then it spread up and down the Eastern seaboard and around the rest of the country and around the world. 00:08:27.620 --> 00:08:34.025 And then God spoke out of that cloud, out of that blood and fire and vapor, and fire and vapor of smoke. 00:08:34.025 --> 00:08:41.145 So another indication that we're in the culmination of the church age. 00:08:41.145 --> 00:08:46.431 See, these are wonders that we've experienced. 00:08:46.431 --> 00:08:54.328 Now, he experienced, and I interviewed him and so, by virtue of the fact that he was able to give that to me, I experienced and you've experienced it. 00:08:55.679 --> 00:09:08.138 So you know, you think about the blood, the redemptive revelation, the blood, I mean he's redeemed not only Israel, he's redeemed the church, he's redeemed you and I. 00:09:08.138 --> 00:09:15.778 We've been bought out of bondage and, of course, we've been given this authority, this mighty authority, in the name of Jesus. 00:09:15.778 --> 00:09:20.855 Jesus said the works that I do show you do also greater works than what they'll be. 00:09:28.929 --> 00:09:37.278 So we have this tremendous authority and, of course, with authority comes responsibility, and I'm talking tonight about remember his wonders. 00:09:37.278 --> 00:09:44.854 I mean we need to keep remembering his wonders and letting the authority, the reality of that, each individual. 00:09:44.854 --> 00:09:49.833 It's not up to the pastors, not up to the ministry, it's up to every believer to carry that. 00:09:49.833 --> 00:09:52.278 So I'm talking about the responsibility. 00:09:52.278 --> 00:09:57.402 Now you know, we need to accept the responsibility that God gave us. 00:09:57.402 --> 00:10:00.455 There's no authority without responsibility, without accountability. 00:10:00.455 --> 00:10:05.900 And so the church is the true me and prophesied over this church and he said you know, you're going to have things in your services and your church that's going to startle people. 00:10:31.996 --> 00:10:36.198 What happens when you're startled? 00:10:36.198 --> 00:10:38.638 You go, you know you catch your breath. 00:10:38.638 --> 00:10:40.634 That's what a wonder will do. 00:10:40.634 --> 00:10:41.578 We've had some of those. 00:10:41.578 --> 00:10:42.736 We're gonna have more of those. 00:10:42.870 --> 00:10:55.317 I'm stirring you up tonight, I'm stirring myself up tonight by remembering, by way of remembering his wonders, not only these, these are the main ones, but we have others that we have experienced. 00:10:55.317 --> 00:11:00.320 And so blood and fire. 00:11:00.320 --> 00:11:05.282 The fire burns away the hindrances and the infirmities. 00:11:05.282 --> 00:11:11.245 It brings a light where we can walk and see without stumbling. 00:11:11.245 --> 00:11:15.822 It brings a tempering so that we can hold DeFrain is in heaven now, but he used to come to the church and he had a similar visitation in 1999 of mine that I had that same year, where God said to him God's raising up the word in spirit. we're taking the lead on manifesting these wonders, signs and wonders. 00:12:17.561 --> 00:12:33.278 And so in Acts two let's keep reading here he's still preaching to this group and a bunch of them got saved 3,000 men got saved that day. 00:12:33.278 --> 00:12:46.416 And therefore, by the right verse 33, therefore being by the right hand of God, exalted, and having received to the father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this which you now see in here. 00:12:46.416 --> 00:12:55.181 He has shed forth that, this, this, what, this wonder, this the beginning. 00:12:55.181 --> 00:12:58.077 This is the beginning of that spoken by the prophet Joel. 00:12:58.077 --> 00:13:03.991 His blood has been shed, the Holy Ghost has been poured out, amen. 00:13:03.991 --> 00:13:08.821 the priests, they had a right or a ceremony of dedication where the blood of the ram of consecration was shed. 00:13:25.659 --> 00:13:47.022 They would kill the ram and take his blood and place it upon the right ear of the priest and then the right thumb and the right great toe, and the blood would be on the on their. 00:13:47.022 --> 00:14:01.205 You know, they would put that blood on their, on those three areas, and then the anointing oil was sprinkled upon them and they were then set into their office where they were anointed. 00:14:01.205 --> 00:14:05.995 Well, the Bible, jesus, said we're all kings and priests under God. 00:14:06.725 --> 00:14:13.345 See, it's not just me, not just the minister, not just the pastor, not just the five fold ministry, but the whole church. the vapor of smoke. 00:15:24.110 --> 00:15:37.312 And I just really believe, here in the last days, we're gonna, we're gonna see more of that manifested glory If we'll just stir ourselves up to believe and to remember his wonders. 00:15:37.312 --> 00:15:43.965 Let's look at Acts five here, talking about the early church, and see, this is the beginning of that. 00:15:43.965 --> 00:15:46.264 apostles, were many signs and wonders wrought among the people. 00:16:07.913 --> 00:16:12.086 Say, not just occasionally, not just for you, to you. 00:16:12.086 --> 00:16:17.931 Many, many signs and wonders were wrought among the people. 00:16:17.931 --> 00:16:21.494 They were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. 00:16:21.494 --> 00:16:25.572 Many signs and wonders were wrought. 00:16:25.572 --> 00:16:28.312 And you skip down to verse 32. 00:16:33.606 --> 00:16:44.832 And he's talking about Jesus and all that Jesus had done, and he's preaching to those Jews, you know, and bunch of them got, you know. 00:16:44.832 --> 00:16:54.672 They were confronted with their unbelief and he said and we are witnesses of these things, and so is also the Holy Ghost whom God have given to them that obey him. 00:16:54.672 --> 00:16:55.508 We are witnesses. 00:16:55.508 --> 00:16:58.032 So we are witnesses with evidence. 00:16:58.032 --> 00:17:01.171 See, the evidence is the wonders, the evidence is the miracles. 00:17:01.171 --> 00:17:05.876 The evidence is, you know, they don't always respond. 00:17:05.876 --> 00:17:11.627 This group here didn't respond to the wonders, but they'll never be able to stand before God and say they didn't know. 00:17:11.627 --> 00:17:23.472 So God is looking for a supernatural witness, not just a witness of words alone, but he's looking for a church that will rise up and manifest signs and wonders and miracles. 00:17:23.472 --> 00:17:33.684 And I don't suggest that everybody that experiences it is gonna necessarily get saved, but at least they will be brought to a place of decision. 00:17:33.826 --> 00:17:39.765 I know that's what happened in my life, when I was brought to a place where I could not deny the miracle action of God. 00:17:39.765 -->
