came back to win all that back, to take back everything that Adam lost and redistribute that authority to us all over again. 00:04:25.860 --> 00:04:34.408 So when Jesus was, when he came on the scene, he said Behold the Lamb of God who comes to take away the sins of the world. 00:04:54.500 --> 00:05:01.778 Up until that point they had only been able to cover their sins with sacrificial animals, sacrificial lamb, and so they covered the sins. 00:05:01.778 --> 00:05:03.041 They had to do that continually. 00:05:03.041 --> 00:05:06.081 But behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the it was upon the prophet and the king, those who were anointed by God to be kind of a liaison between God and everyone else and they could speak for God and they could do things on behalf of God. 00:07:58.665 And so, luke, chapter four Jesus starts his ministry. 00:07:58.665 --> 00:08:12.122 He's filled with the spirit, he's defeated the devil, the temptation of the devil, he's rebuked the 00:08:46.221 And when Jesus said that he closed the book, this is his first preaching gig and he reads this scripture about himself and they're kind of expecting him to say some more about this and he ministry, our purpose in this world, and I'm just going to kind of run through some high points on this because I want to keep this short, but there are some important nuggets in here. 00:09:25.095 doing things, saying things on the authority of Jesus, but not operating with the power of the Holy Spirit on the inside, and they need the power to go with the authority. 00:16:52.410 --> 00:17:01.976 It's not that the Holy Spirit doesn't dwell on the inside of them, it's that they're not filled up with the Holy Spirit and they're not operating on that power. 00:17:02.585 -->
