subject dominion over demons. 00:03:08.930 --> 00:03:11.305 Dominion over demons. 00:03:11.305 --> 00:03:18.230 You know the church has been set against sickness, but it's also been set against demons and demonic activities. 00:03:18.230 --> 00:03:26.225 There's much demonic activity going on in the earth today and these signs shall follow them. 00:03:26.225 --> 00:03:45.241 That believe it's not just those that are in some sort of ministry, not just because of pastor or just because of somebody that's very famous in the church, it's believers have signs following them and when you see these signs it says these signs, what signs? 00:03:45.241 --> 00:03:46.502 In my name? 00:03:46.502 --> 00:03:48.683 They shall cast out demons. 00:03:48.683 --> 00:03:50.024 That's the first one on the list. 00:03:50.024 --> 00:03:52.252 It must be kind of important. 00:03:52.252 --> 00:03:56.164 And then it says they'll speak with new tongues. 00:03:56.164 --> 00:03:59.275 So that's really talking about speaking at other tongues. 00:03:59.275 --> 00:04:01.992 I mean, every believer should receive the baptism. 00:04:02.947 --> 00:04:11.435 And then it says they shall take up serpents and of course you know he's not talking about literally snakes, he's talking about casting aside in the context. 00:04:11.435 --> 00:04:16.833 This is in the context of preaching the gospel to every creature as they go about. 00:04:16.833 --> 00:04:26.245 So we have, we're going to have, demonic opposition and we have authority, and really I think authority is good. 00:04:26.245 --> 00:04:33.644 But I wanted to use the word dominion because I feel like it's a stronger word to describe what we have. 00:04:33.644 --> 00:04:39.093 Yes, it's authority, but dominion is absolute authority in heaven and in earth. 00:04:39.093 --> 00:04:40.845 I mean, we have this, and how do we have it? 00:04:40.845 --> 00:04:43.050 We have it in the name of Jesus, and who has it? 00:04:43.391 --> 00:04:47.947 Preachers know, apostles know, and the first century AD know Believers. 00:04:47.947 --> 00:04:57.129 And so this idea of taking up serpents, it literally means to throw aside or cast aside demonic opposition. 00:04:57.129 --> 00:05:01.004 That's in the way, and very similarly to that drink, any deadly thing. 00:05:01.004 --> 00:05:17.374 It's talking about the occult, it's talking about spells, it's talking about things that the curses that are released on ministers, and so really a lot of the signs that are to follow us relate to demonic activity. 00:05:17.374 --> 00:05:24.375 And I just want to encourage you I'm teaching this, I do teach this from time to time so that believers don't run from the devil. 00:05:24.425 --> 00:05:28.617 Believers don't try to find somebody else to take your business, whatever, I mean your neighborhood. 00:06:27.848 --> 00:06:36.915 You have that domain and when there are demonic activity there, you have every right to rule over that. 00:06:36.915 --> 00:06:46.954 Now, you know, sometimes we have to use wisdom about getting involved with something that we're not directly in charge of. 00:06:46.954 --> 00:06:53.572 You know, for instance, you know, I believe the church in Ukraine is well able to take care of what's going on in the Ukraine. 00:06:53.644 --> 00:07:00.574 I haven't felt a real push to just set everything aside and start authority in this church, over this nation, over America. 00:07:45.531 --> 00:07:59.334 So I'm doing most of our praying over what we have and paying attention to the fact that, while we're spending billions ensuring their border, their national borders, we're not doing anything about our own borders. 00:07:59.334 --> 00:08:04.254 See, I think that that's more of a the light shines further, 00:08:36.254 --> 00:08:48.994 That's what you start with and, as you're faithful, to exercise that domain and put the devil on the run in your dominion, the places of your dominion, then God can then blanche right to use the name of Jesus. 00:09:27.932 --> 00:09:41.130 We're the only ones that can use that name and we need to recognize the role of the devil and demon powers in disease and bondage and lack, all the affairs of life. 00:09:41.245 --> 00:09:55.630 We need to recognize that there is a demonic activity and we can get off into how Jesus, through his death, barrel and resurrection, restored man's lost dominion. 00:09:55.630 --> 00:09:58.653 We know that Adam sold out to the devil. 00:09:58.653 --> 00:10:05.133 He lost the dominion that he had, gave it to the devil, and the devil by that time, headed to a hundred dots before he gets up off the runway. 00:14:21.761 --> 00:14:28.384 And so he had to abort the take off and come to find out there was nothing wrong with the door. Legion, for we are many. 00:15:23.975 --> 00:15:38.461 So that was a ruling demon, and the entire region of that part of Israel was under bondage to the demon that was in that demonic, because everybody was afraid, everybody was hiding from this guy. 00:15:38.461 --> 00:15:56.600 He had super human strength, you know, he was a terror, and when Jesus cast the demons out of that thing, they he cast into a herd of swine and they ran into the lake and drowned, and so those demons were rendered what they were, rendered irrelevant. 00:15:56.600 --> 00:16:12.778 And so he took authority over spirits that were holding sway in that region through this one man, and that man was sane and in his right mind, dressed in everything, and the last picture we see of him he wanted to follow Jesus. 00:16:12.778 --> 00:16:28.984 And so, jesus, you know, when he he cast the devil out of a woman who had a spirit of infirmity, she was bowed over at the waist, and so you know, but but there's not you know, brother, somebody has a car wreck, and they'll come up to you and say well, you know, brother, everything happens for a reason. 00:17:33.266 --> 00:17:44.505 The implication is that God calls the car wreck, that God was the author of the sickness, that God was the author of the trouble and he's trying to teach you a lesson, but you don't know what it is. 00:17:44.505 --> 00:17:48.931 then he wound up being my boss, hired me for a job that I had and we were around them a lot and they didn't go to Word of Faith Church, they just went to old denominational churches. 00:19:42.387 --> 00:19:47.846 They were baptized, the Holy Ghost, but they never really pursued the Word of Faith that I'm teaching you tonight. 00:19:47.846 --> 00:19:50.469 They never had this kind of teaching her, on each ear, on either side of her head, and as soon as my hands touched her, she fell straight down I mean like an elevator, straight down and started riding on the carpet. 00:28:37.895 --> know, started praying in other tongues, and the reason I was praying in other tongues is that, you know, I had just started functioning in the gift of the discerning of spirits and I was praying to her ignorance of her rights and privileges is number two she's not baptized in the Holy Ghost, so she's not fortified against the devil. 00:30:40.518 --> 00:30:42.519 And so I encourage her. 00:30:42.519 --> 00:30:52.238 I said you're going to just go back home, get some oil in the nonture, the broom that you have your own room, yeah, just anoint it with oil on the door and on the window,
