00:04:23.487 --> 00:04:24.060 How about? 00:04:24.060 --> 00:04:26.689 Why do these two typify apostles? 00:04:27.660 --> 00:04:30.120 Well, they were called and sent out to spy that. 00:04:30.120 --> 00:04:33.630 They were sent out apostolos in the New Testament. 00:04:33.630 --> 00:04:38.745 The Greek word apostolos, which is apostle, is a sent one. 00:04:38.745 --> 00:04:46.279 And when you look up in the New Testament, the book of Hebrews 11, where it talks about Rahab the harlot and the two spies. 00:04:46.279 --> 00:04:48.560 She protected the spies. 00:04:48.560 --> 00:04:56.911 The word spies in the New Testament is castocopos, which means reconorter. 00:04:56.911 --> 00:05:00.569 It's kind of like a scout. 00:05:00.569 --> 00:05:03.600 They're rick and ordering. 00:05:03.600 --> 00:05:07.360 He said go and find out what's going on. 00:05:07.360 --> 00:05:19.199 The last time that Moses sent the 12 spies, 10 of them came back with an evil report and they spent 40 years wandering in the wilderness and the 12 spies died immediately, or 10 of the 12. 00:05:19.199 --> 00:05:22.877 The only two that survived were Caleb and Joshua and Caleb. 00:05:22.877 --> 00:05:38.160 So spies it's sent out with and when you look up what apostolos means, it's one sent out with a personal authority and as a representative of the one that's sent out, it's one sending. 00:05:38.160 --> 00:05:45.850 So these two spies had personal authority and they were representative of the head of Israel. 00:05:45.850 --> 00:05:46.461 Are you with me?
