the victory in Jesus' name, amen. 00:00:45.159 --> 00:00:55.039 Let's look at Genesis, the 17th chapter, and while you're turning there, also find Galatians, the third chapter. 00:00:55.039 --> 00:01:03.000 We're starting in Genesis first, genesis 17, verse one. 00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:14.608 And when Abram was 90 years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him I am the Almighty God. 00:01:14.608 --> 00:01:17.968 Walk before me and be thou perfect. 00:01:17.968 --> 00:01:22.691 Or one version says be blameless. 00:01:22.691 --> 00:01:24.668 In other words, be blameless in the covenant. 00:01:24.668 --> 00:01:34.390 Walk before me and be blameless in the covenant, and I will make my covenant between me and thee and will multiply thee exceedingly. 00:01:34.390 --> 00:01:50.525 And then in Galatians, chapter three, verse 26, paul is writing to us and he says for you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 00:01:50.525 --> 00:02:22.367 There is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus, and if you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise, heirs, we're all heirs. 00:02:23.139 --> 00:02:28.144 So tonight I just wanted to preach a message on El Shaddai. 00:02:28.144 --> 00:02:37.973 You know, god revealed himself to Abraham or Abram at that time, and he said I am almighty God. 00:02:37.973 --> 00:02:45.221 I am El Shaddai, the almighty, the God who is more than enough. 00:02:45.221 --> 00:02:52.439 Another meaning of that word is that he is the overcoming God. 00:02:52.439 --> 00:02:54.772 Nothing can stand up against his power. 00:02:54.772 --> 00:03:04.025 For instance, you know Abram, you're 99 and your wife has got a barren womb, but that can't stand up against my word. 00:03:04.025 --> 00:03:06.234 That you know. 00:03:06.234 --> 00:03:09.025 My word is all you need to overcome that situation. 00:03:09.025 --> 00:03:16.004 And then another aspect of that El Shaddai. 00:03:16.004 --> 00:03:19.014 The Hebrew word Shad means breast. 00:03:19.014 --> 00:03:20.992 I'm the almighty, breasty one. 00:03:20.992 --> 00:03:23.394 I have an unlimited supply for you. 00:03:23.394 --> 00:03:27.953 Praise God, he's got all the supply. 00:03:27.953 --> 00:03:29.431 He's more than enough for us. 00:03:29.431 --> 00:03:32.044 And so what did he tell him? 00:03:32.044 --> 00:03:35.253 He said I will multiply the exceedingly. 00:03:35.253 --> 00:03:50.252 And so he began to talk to him about his covenant, and he changed his name to Abraham, which means father of many nations. 00:03:50.252 --> 00:03:57.025 And so well, yeah, pastor, that was El Shaddai to him. 00:03:57.025 --> 00:04:00.731 Well, yeah, but we're the seed of Abraham through faith in Christ Jesus. 00:04:00.731 --> 00:04:08.025 So he's El Shaddai to you and I, he's our El Shaddai and we're heirs according to the promise. 00:04:09.151 --> 23.5? 00:04:15.044 --> 00:04:21.250 He's the overflowing cup, god, he didn't just fill the cup, he overflows, he just overflows it. 00:04:21.250 --> 00:04:33.836 And then, I think, in John, chapter seven, jesus said you know, if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink, and out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water, rivers, rivers. 00:04:33.836 --> 00:04:38.514 He floods us with rivers, not just a trickle, not just a well. 00:04:38.514 --> 00:04:43.975 The well of life is talking about our salvation. 00:04:43.975 --> 00:04:48.692 But the rivers of living water is what we have with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, is unlimited supply. 00:04:48.692 --> 00:04:52.432 Think about Luke 638. 00:04:52.432 --> 00:04:54.932 He says you know, giving it shall be given unto thee. 00:04:54.932 --> 00:04:59.213 Good measure, pressed down, shaking together, running over, running over. 00:04:59.213 --> 00:05:06.002 He's the running over return that God can move on, man to give us. 00:05:06.002 --> 00:05:08.790 See, it comes from man, the running over comes from man. 00:05:08.790 --> 00:05:12.045 I said the running over comes from man. 00:05:12.045 --> 00:05:12.886 Why? know he opens up the windows of heaven and pours us out a blessing that's not room enough to receive. 00:05:29.983 --> 00:05:33.673 See, that's overflow, that's more than enough. 00:05:33.673 --> 00:05:36.045 That's more than enough. 00:05:36.045 --> 00:05:37.829 And the word blessing there. 00:05:37.910 --> 00:05:46.045 I went out to see brother, brother Oral Roberts, and he gave me the teaching about ideas, concepts and insights. 00:05:46.045 --> 00:05:51.045 See, it's not talking about money, because there's no money in heaven for God to reign out of heaven. 00:05:51.045 --> 00:05:52.851 There's no money up there. 00:05:52.851 --> 00:05:55.915 So when he opens up the windows of heaven, what does he give us? 00:05:55.915 --> 00:06:01.045 He gives us all the ideas, the concepts and insights to know where provision is on the earth. 00:06:01.045 --> 00:06:06.045 You know the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein. fish was with a gold coin in his mouth, and Peter went and found it, paid his taxes and Peter's taxes. 00:06:21.654 --> 00:06:28.458 So you look at this wonderful testimony. 00:06:29.665 --> 00:06:34.697 And when was it that God revealed himself as the God, who is more than enough. 00:06:34.697 --> 00:06:39.916 Well, it happened when Abram was just about run out of faith. 00:06:39.916 --> 00:06:40.827 He's 99,. 00:06:40.827 --> 00:06:41.891 His wife is 90. 00:06:41.891 --> 00:06:46.687 He's unable to father a child, she's unable to bear a child, her womb is dead. 00:06:46.687 --> 00:06:56.990 And so he said, you know, he said, walk before me and be thou perfect, be thou blameless. 00:06:56.990 --> 00:07:00.552 And he's talking about being blameless in the covenant. 00:07:00.552 --> 00:07:03.512 In other words, the covenant has two sides. 00:07:03.512 --> 00:07:10.060 God cut the covenant with Abram, and so Abram has a side and God has a side. 00:07:10.060 --> the dust of the earth. 00:07:33.274 --> 00:07:36.029 You know, the Middle East got a lot of dust. 00:07:36.029 --> 00:07:42.317 And then in Genesis 15, he said look up and look at the stars. 00:07:42.317 --> 00:07:46.475 Your seed will be as the stars in heaven, for multitude. 00:07:46.475 --> 00:07:50.374 So he had already spoken that to him. 00:07:51.105 --> 00:07:55.596 And so here he is a few years later and he's you know, circumstances had worn him down. 00:07:55.596 --> 00:08:01.576 He's thinking, gosh, there's just no way that this promise can come to pass. 00:08:01.576 --> 00:08:08.295 And so God began to remind him. 00:08:08.295 --> 00:08:16.512 And then he renamed him Abraham and the word Abraham means father of many nations and he gave him the right name so he could don't have the education, I don't have the money for that, I don't have this for that, I don't have that for that. 00:08:43.109 --> 00:08:46.889 Oh, god's got everything we need, he's more than enough. 00:08:46.889 --> 00:08:52.634 He's the old shadow, and if there's something that you need to know, he can show it to you. 00:08:52.634 --> 00:08:54.990 He can, he can relay it to you. 00:08:54.990 --> 00:08:58.832 And so he renamed him so he could talk right. 00:08:58.832 --> 00:09:04.607 And so immediately he began to say well, I'm Abraham, I'm the father of many nations, this is 00:09:16.609 And so he starts introducing her and as if they're they've got a multitude of descendants and they don't have anything. 00:09:16.609 --> 00:09:18.427 They have nothing yet. 00:09:18.427 --> 00:09:23.490 But they had to change what they were speaking and of course, we know the story. 00:09:23.490 --> 00:09:29.591 They conceived Isaac within 90 days of this, right here, within 90 days over and you can't really tell people about the facts. 00:10:13.610 --> 00:10:21.393 But I know this a lot of those people are Christians and they're not being taught to look at their new birth of this? 00:12:07.044 --> 00:12:24.023 Because you need to get a revelation of this and share it with people that don't have a revelation, because if they're Christians, they can change what they're
