Upon This Rock | Built Different Part 3 | January 18, 2026

In this message, “Upon This Rock,” we continue our January series BUILT DIFFERENT while leaning into biblical maturity and soul health. Drawing from Matthew 7 and Matthew 16, we look at Jesus’ powerful exchange with Peter and discover what it means to build our lives—and God’s church—on an immovable foundation.

Peter was flawed, impulsive, and imperfect… yet Jesus still called him by name and invited him into the work of building the Church. This message speaks to identity, purpose, spiritual authority, and the confidence we carry when our lives are built on Christ—the true Rock.

You’ll be encouraged to:
 • Understand who you are in Christ
 • Recognize the attack on identity and how to stand firm
 • Move from consuming the Word to applying it
 • Live with confidence knowing the gates of hell will not prevail

Whether you’re in the middle of prayer and fasting or just jumping in, this message is an invitation to say:
“God, if You’re building Your church—build it on me.”

📖 Key Scriptures: Matthew 7:24–27, Matthew 16:13–20
