Drawing from Matthew 7 and Matthew 16, we look at Jesus’ powerful exchange with Peter and discover what it means to build our lives—and God’s church—on an immovable foundation.

Peter was flawed, impulsive, and imperfect… yet Jesus still called him by name and invited him into the work of building the Church. This message speaks to identity, purpose, spiritual authority, and the confidence we carry when our lives are built on Christ—the true Rock.

 • Move from consuming the Word to applying it
 • Live with confidence knowing the gates of hell will not prevail
