Carroll County born and bred Joe Linthicum spent 42 years teaching Agriculture at Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, Maryland. He also coached girl's softball and was the FFA advisor for most of those years. Since he retired from teaching a couple of years ago, he is still very active in the FFA Alumni and sits on several ag boards in the state.
