Why Trump’s Sharpie is the Most Powerful Weapon in Politics
Why Trump’s Sharpie is the Most Powerful Weapon in Politics
What happens when a new administration shakes the foundations of national policy? We tackle this question head-on, examining the flurry of executive orders following Donald Trump's inauguration, from merit-based hiring to the heated debate over gender identity recognition. Our conversation takes you through the administration's firm stance on immigration, with heightened border security and deportation efforts. We explore the overdue release of files on the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations, noting the significant implications of these disclosures and reflecting on the broader national shift in direction. The discussion is charged with urgency and decisiveness, mirroring the assertive changes taking place. But that's not all—we journey into modern controversies, from the tangled web of JFK conspiracy theories to the contentious world of weight loss drugs. Our critique extends to the handling of gender identity on official documents and celebrates a move toward "common sense" policies, such as Marco Rubio's new role as Secretary of State and the end of electric car mandates. With a lighter touch, we explore celebrity reactions to Elon Musk's antics and the irony therein, all wrapped up with our promise to return to a regular weekly schedule. Tune in for a mix of serious discourse and humorous insights that promise to engage and entertain.
What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to. It is now dumber for having listened to it. You don't know what that ought to is, mr Trash. I'd show you, but I'm too old, I'm too tired, I'm too fucking blind. If I were the man I was five years ago.
Speaker 2:I'd take a flamethrower to this place. Do you understand the words?
Speaker 1:that are coming out of my mouth. You want answers. I think I'm entitled. You want answers.
Speaker 2:I want the truth. You can't handle the truth. Oh, we've said it once, we've said it before, we've said it a million times the truth's always at the crease. This is Tim. It's gonna slam on the mad ramblings of a Gen Xer.
Speaker 2:We want to talk about all the executive orders. We want to talk about snow in Florida. We want to just talk about everything that's going on in this country and how quickly things are changing. When Donald Trump became president just almost four short days ago, officially he, of course, was the president-elect, but now that he's been officially in office since the 20th, things have happened rapidly. Things are happening quickly. There is a change in this country that we have not seen in the last four years. Dei, or didn't earn it is, is very prevalent, with the fact that it has now been removed from government.
Speaker 2:Government Now, per executive order of Trump, I'm going to say executive order 147. I don't really know what order it is. It's saying that you need to hire people now off of merit. You have to hire people, shockingly, that are actually qualified for the role in reference to having the education, the experience, and not use race, creed or color or religion or sexual orientation as the reason to hire them. That's just fucking crazy. Who would want to do that? Why would you want to put people in roles that they're qualified to be in? That's just nuts.
Speaker 2:And then one of the other executive orders we'll call it Executive Order 4296, trump said that the United States government will only recognize two sexes and that, of course, is going to be male and female. So it took an executive order four years later by the president of the United States to have the audacity to tell people that you only have a PP or a vagina. That we literally had. We have gone. We went so wacky for four fucking years. We literally have to tell people hey, listen, look down and tell me what you have and that's what you are. You can feel that you are anything. You can think you are anything. Hell, you can think you're a. You are a non-binary pink fucking elephant. But when you go to the DMV they're going to ask you do you have a PP or a vagina? I mean, has common sense, sense finally been restored in this country? Has has, has, has just common decency finally been restored that you're just saying to people hey, listen, biologically there are only two sexes, that's it. You can tell me anything you want. You said well, there are many. I always love people. There are many. There are many layers and divisions. No, you have a pee-pee or you have a vagina. You can feel whatever you want to feel. You can think you are whatever you want to think you are, but at the end of the day, that's what you have.
Speaker 2:Trump has also assigned many executive orders in reference to the border itself. Border crossings in the first four days of his presidency have already dropped 30%. Ice is now going through cities with a vengeance, I believe day one. They brought in 308 criminal illegal immigrants. Listen, if you're in this country illegally, you are a criminal, even if you did not commit a crime in your country of origin. If you came here and entered the country illegally, you are a criminal. I don't care if it's a nonviolent crime. You violate the sovereignty of the United States by crossing its border without going through a point of entry of the United States. By crossing its border without going through a point of entry, you are a criminal. Oh my God, it feels so good just to say shit like that again. Deportation flights have already started. Trump is already sending, always sending, these criminals back to where they belong, which is not here. I love the other day where the Haitian criminal was screaming that he's not going back to Haiti.
Speaker 2:He's not going back to Haiti. Fuck Donald Trump. He long lived. Joe Biden Well, joe Biden's not here, stupid, and your free fucking ride is over. It is done. Get out. Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord splits you and that's the end of that.
Speaker 2:Another 530 illegal immigrants were caught just yesterday. On Thursday, I got it. You had ice running through one of the fish markets in Newark, new Jersey, round rounding people up. We know where these people are. It just took somebody with the balls to go out and say you are not supposed to be here. You are a burden on this country. You are a burden on the taxpayers. You are a burden in general. You weren't invited. It's time to go.
Speaker 2:I always ask liberals the same thing. You're sitting at your house. You see a stranger on the street. It's 1130, 12 o'clock at night. They are staring at your house. Do you just leave your door unlocked and go to bed, or do you lock your door and call someone? Well, you know what? That's what the American people, that's what millions upon millions of American people did. They called someone and said hey, trump, please lock up this country.
Speaker 2:Trump also just signed an executive order the other day releasing the files on the JFK, rfk and MLK assassination files. These files should have been released a long time ago. He was basically Trump was talked out of it during his first term, which I didn't agree with. But Trump, people think he is just this guy. That's just, he's that freewheeling cowboy out of it during his first term, which I didn't agree with. I mean, but Trump does you know? People think he is just this guy. That's just, he's not free willing cowboy, he just he's the guy in the black hat that's just screaming yeehaw right in the nuclear warhead down to the ground. No, he's, he's not slim pickings people. I'll give you time to Google that and Google that movie reference. That's why they call the show Mad Ramblings of a Gen Xer which I laugh, because we got a letter from, I think, buzz something, buzz feed or something that we are the top 40 Gen X podcast. We are ranked number two, which I find strangely weird For so many different reasons. But the JFK secrets file should have been released, should have been released a long time ago. I believe they have 14 days to release the JFK files and I think they have longer for, yeah, they have 15 days to present a plan to the president to fully and completely release the records of the JFK assassination and 45 days to do so for the RFK and MLK cases.
Speaker 2:Now, kennedy was shot, of course, in November 1963 in Dallas. It was always thought that it was Lee Harvey as well, not those men on the grassy knoll. And two days after the assassination, club owner Jack Ruby then ended it all by putting a bullet in Lee Harvey. So he never knew truly what was going on. For those that do not know, of course Oswald was a. He was a Marine veteran, but he had defected to the Soviet Union four years before the assassination and I believe it was in in in September of 63, that he visited the Cuban consulate in Mexico city and contacted the Soviet embassy. So there's always been that, there's always been that connection. Two weeks before the assassination he wrote a letter to the Soviet embassy in Washington complaining I have been able to reach a Soviet embassy in Havana as planned. The embassy there would have had time to complete our business. There's going to. You know it's. It's that's going to be like a week long show Once we get to that. Because I want to know what's going to be like a week-long show once we get to that, because I want to know what's going on here.
Speaker 2:All this not all this but a lot of this has to also do with Robert F Kennedy Jr, who Trump nominated to serve as the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. You mean, we're actually going to have a healthy guy who takes care of his body, eats, right in charge of making us healthy. Yeah, overweight men who are pretending to be women can no longer tell us what we need to do to be healthy. You know not to get off topic, but I'm going to get off topic. What is obscentic, obscentic, whatever the hell the weight loss shot is that everyone's going. All this first started with celebrities. Everyone was going crazy and gaga.
Speaker 2:It was actually to help diabetes patients, and I do find it funny that there are certain diabetes patients that are having a hard time getting the drugs. It's like life-saving for them, because people are overweight, people with no self-control, are trying to lose weight and they're basically prescribing this thing like it's candy, not knowing some of the repercussions. Now there, there are a lot of good things about these drugs, because it helps reduce inflammation in your body, which then, in turn, helps you lose weight and basically what it does is it curtails the cravings you have to eat. But then I love it because they had a report come out the other day that basically said well, it could also cause kidney damage and liver failure and all this. Oh and by the way, yeah, you spend $1,500 a month to get these shots, but once you stop taking the shots, yeah, you spend $1,500 a month to get these shots, but once you stop taking the shots, the cravings return. So you never actually find out the underlying reason why you have these cravings. You don't find out the reason why you are basically eating the way you're eating. You're not finding out what's the root cause. Could be psychological, could be something physical, I don't know, because all this does is it's like getting the more evasive stomach surgery, stomach stapling. All that stomach stapling does is make your stomach smaller, which allows you to eat less, which limits your cravings, and that's all these drugs do. But the problem is, when you come off, after spending $1,500 a month on this medication, well, all the cravings just happen to come back. So technically you are not fixing anything and you're spending $18,000 a year for these shots, so you can not have these cravings, so you can lose weight without really having to exercise or do anything else.
Speaker 2:Oh, I just I love it. I truly love our ability to process things. Oh my God, I love it, though, because things oh my God, I love it though because, getting back to immigration, secretary of State, new Secretary of State Marco Rubio from the great state of Florida, has scrapped US passport applications, allowing Americans to designate their gender as X, terminator X. Yeah, because there are two fucking sexes. How many years of biology do you have to take to become a doctor? I'm going to tell you real easy Drop your pants and I can tell what you are. It's not that difficult, but for four years, we had to be like well, I know you could be a male but feel like a female, but dress like a male but then be able to use the bathroom of a female because you think you're a female, even though your outward appearance says that you're a male. Great balls afar.
Speaker 2:How many times have we said that common sense and decency has returned? You could hate trump you, you could. You could think he's vile, but all these world leaders are now lining up to kiss his ring. I love it. You had all these guys talking tough the president of Mexico. She was like we're not going to do anything with Trump. Well, you know, we're willing to work with Trump because you know he's a great guy. You have all these other countries that are like Greenland's, like we are never going to be part of America, we're a sovereign country. And then all of a sudden you've got Donald Trump Jr visiting Greenland and people are agreeing like hey, you know what? It might not be bad to be associated with the United States. It's just common sense. You're already looking at the fact that you will reduce inflation by reducing the price of gas and oil. No longer will we have to sit. Oh, that's another great mandate. That's another great another thing that he signed the other day. The electric car mandate is now dead. Executive order 2698. No more electric car mandates. Executive Order 2698. No more electric car mandates. Fuck you very much.
Speaker 2:Get the hell out of here with your George Judson cars that get 300 miles to the charge, they say, but can take upwards of 10 hours to charge, unless you have one of those Elon fast chargers. But don't worry, that's okay. It's not something that we're ready for the electric grid is ready for. We don't have the infrastructure for everyone to have these cars. California shows that every summer with the rolling blackouts because they don't have enough power. I love California because California told people last year listen, don't plug in your car to charge between the hours of 6 pm, and I think it's like 3 pm or 3 am the next morning. So if you get home from work at 6, you're not allowed to charge your car to go to work the next day because they have rolling blackouts.
Speaker 2:Oh, I mean, I like. I mean I like the Tesla truck. I think the Tesla, I mean to Tesla truck, if you get the black one, you look like you're fucking Batman. But do you really want to spend seven? Does an American citizen want to spend $70,000 on a truck just to look like Batman? I might. I'm Batman, I always wanted to be Batman.
Speaker 2:But no, things are changing quickly, things are changing rapidly. Things are changing to the point that, like I said, you bring down gas and oil prices. That's going to bring down the rate. That is going to bring down inflation. That's going to bring down the cost to transport things, which then will be passed on to the consumer. It's not really that difficult to figure out. You lower the cost of making, you lower the cost of a company to produce something or to not have to import it, that will all of a sudden be passed on to the consumer. I know it's. It's a crazy. It's a crazy thought. You become energy independent again and you are. You become a net exporter of energy. You know what crazy shit happens. Everything starts, costs start going down, inflation starts going down, interest rates start going down.
Speaker 2:We never talk about. They always talk about well, the inflation rate is at only 3.96. But what they fail to tell you is, and what they report on the majority of the time, is not the inflation rate, it is the rate of inflation. It is the rate the inflation increases monthly, not what the current inflation rate is on products. So you could tell me that the rate of inflation, the rate of inflation, has only grown at 2.6% this month. But the problem is, when eggs are at 22% inflation, you're not telling me anything. You're just telling me how the rate of inflation is not growing, not what the actual inflation rate is.
Speaker 2:How many times have we addressed that here? And sometimes I feel like I'm banging my head about this. It's just lunacy. It used to be lunacy wrapped in nuttiness and you had these people asking questions and it's just like you know what. We need to start looking at this country first. We need to figure out a way to help the American people and help the American people thrive again and help them put food on the table and help them find jobs that allow them to live, and one of those things to do is to help lower costs. But we don't want to talk about that. We didn't want to talk about it, but we want to talk about it now.
Speaker 2:Trump has, in the last four days, has given more press conferences, answered more questions than Biden has in years. Transparency Reporters don't know what to do. They really don't. I was watching the first executive orders being signed day one and I think you had the one reporter from Brazil and she just kept asking questions and at one point in time you're like shut up. We want to hear what the executive orders are, but she just she just kept asking questions Like she didn't know what to do. I'm allowed. I'm allowed to keep asking questions. What the fuck's going on here? Usually it's just like oh, you get one question, I'm not really going to answer it, but then I'm going to turn around and the president's going to run out.
Speaker 2:There's still lunacy, though. There's still lunacy in this country. You had the National Prayer Service the other day and you had the wacky bishop, who was a radical left bishop, come out and say that you have to show compassion. You have to show compassion for people that are here illegally and for people that don't know whether I have a pee-pee or a vagina. You have to show compassion for them. I have a pee, pee or a vagina. You have to show compassion for them. No, you don't. You don't. You are a radical left, lunatic Bishop who who, you know it was amazing with all this, even after she did this. You don't think she wants any press out of it. No, she just ends up on the fucking view, view, oh my God.
Speaker 2:We are so done now with this criminal first mindset, with these illegal immigrant mindsets. Maybe we're going to take care of our veterans. Maybe we're going to evict some of these people out of these hotels, who don't belong here anyways, and actually move in American families and veterans who are living on the street and can't get help from the VA from the last four years. Maybe we, maybe we can do things such as that. Maybe it's the fact that we need to have our own American innovation. Maybe it's the fact that we have to have our own American manufacturing so we don't have to worry about relying on China for components to build I don't know missiles, maybe we, maybe we just need to, maybe we just need to learn those things. Maybe we need to build an infrastructure again. Where you were built and we're made in America will actually literally mean something.
Speaker 2:Elon showed us the way. With everything he's done, he is a big part of the administration. I love the fact, though, that people are calling him. You know, elon. He's kind of a weird guy. He's kind of a socially awkward guy. So during that one rally he was doing, he was kind of throwing his hands up in the air and people were like look, look, it's a Nazi salute, it's a Nazi salute. Look at that Nazi salute. And I love it, because the brilliance of Melissa Milano from who's the Boss and whatever TV show she was on, saw this and got rid of her Tesla.
Speaker 2:And then she posts I've got rid of my Tesla because I'm not going to support a Nazi. I went out and bought a Volkswagen electric car. You mean the Volkswagen car, which was basically founded by the Nazis. It was a Nazi-run organization that started out by being part of the Nazi regime. That Volkswagen, oh yeah, that makes tremendous amounts of. That just makes sense to me, and I love it because you have the AOC, andres Ocasio-Cortez, come out and say you know what? Look at that, he's throwing up this Nazi salute. How can you support him?
Speaker 2:And then the video surfaces of her doing the same thing recently at a rally this summer. Surfaces of her doing the same thing recently at a rally this summer. Uh, so many people want to be right about so many things that they're just wrong about everything. Oh, we're gonna try to get back to doing the show weekly. Last episode was december 19th, so I'll try to do at least a weekly show. And there's always a truth to show, isn't your free? This is tim. It's gonna find law in the mad ramblings ofnify Law and I'm out of here.
