WHO'S GOING TO PICK OUR POT! When Rescuing Children Becomes Political for the Left!
Federal authorities descended on a California cannabis farm last week in what became the second-largest ICE operation in a single state in agency history. The raid at Glass House Farm in Ventura County led to the apprehension of 319 unlawful immigrants and, most significantly, the rescue of 14 children from potential forced labor and trafficking situations. Ten of these children were unaccompanied minors working at the marijuana production facility.
The operation has sparked intense debate between immigration enforcement supporters and critics. While ICE officials point to the rescue of exploited children and the removal of at least one worker with a history as a sexual predator as evidence of the raid's necessity, protestors violently clashed with agents at the scene. The media coverage has been equally contentious, with many outlets describing it as a raid on a "fruit farm" rather than acknowledging the cannabis operation. Adding political intrigue, the company's co-founder reportedly donated $10,000 to Governor Gavin Newsom's campaign in 2018, raising questions about oversight and enforcement.
This incident highlights the complex intersection of immigration policy, labor exploitation, and politics in America today. As Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass signed an executive order demanding ICE clear operations with local governments before conducting raids, the fundamental tension between federal authority and local jurisdiction remains unresolved. Meanwhile, one worker tragically died after falling from a 30-foot greenhouse while attempting to evade authorities. Beyond the immediate controversy, the podcast touches on the upcoming 50th anniversary of the film Jaws, offering a brief cultural diversion from the heated immigration debate.
Listen now to understand the full context behind this controversial raid and what it reveals about America's ongoing struggle with immigration enforcement, child exploitation, and political polarization. Share your thoughts on whether these enforcement actions protect vulnerable children or go too far in their approach.
What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to. It is now dumber for having listened to it. You don't know what that ought is, mr Trash. I'd show you, but I'm too old, I'm too tired, I'm too fucking blind. If I were the man I was five years ago, I'd take a flamethrower to this place.
Speaker 2:Do you understand the words that are?
Speaker 1:coming out of my mouth. You want answers. I think I'm entitled. You want answers. I want the truth.
Speaker 2:You can't handle the truth With all this wackiness. A lot of people have a hard time handling the truth. This just got off my lawn, the mad ramblings of a gen X. I want to talk about Gavin Newsom's pot farm. Oh my God, who's going to pick our marijuana? Oh, um, it's just, it's just literally the lunacy of the left, not only the, the politicians, not only the media, not only the, the just liberals in general, but there's, there's, there's an era lunacy all about the left.
Speaker 2:So last week, federal authorities went after and this was Thursday of last week they went after and they, they dropped ice into California to make arrests at a Ventura County, california, cannabis farm. Now Kristi Noem, of course, is the Homeland Security Secretary confirmed that 319 unlawful immigrants were apprehended during the raid at this place called the Glass House Farm and in the interim not in the interim, but in the same time law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential forced labor, exploitation and trafficking. Now I believe 10 of the 14 children, if I recall properly, are unaccompanied minors. So Gavin Newsom and California exploiting child labor laws and the 300,000 children that Joe Biden lost well, we found 14 of them, 10 of them are unaccompanied minors, but you would think the left from the left, the spewing points, the talking points would be and I love it because they talk about it. They talk about how they invaded. They invaded a fruit farm. They invaded a vegetable farm. No, they invaded a pot farm in Ventura County, california. The raid is the second largest in a single state since they started these operations in ice history. The first one since they started these operations in ice history. The first one. The first, the largest one, was back in 2019 at the Mississippi chicken plant, where they raided.
Speaker 2:They snatched up cause they are snatching them up? Cause they are illegal immigrants. They snatched up 700 illegal immigrants and arrested them, but there were children on 10, children that were unaccompanied minored minors working at this pot farm. And all the left can worry about who's going to harvest the marijuana. I don't get it. And then, if you take a look at the list of people that they arrested, they had one illegal alien immigrant who was a sexual child predator. We don't want to get him out of the country. We need to keep him here. Explain it to me. Explain it to me how they can justify forced child labor in one of the largest marijuana farms in California. This is a big company that runs this marijuana farm. It's not like this small company, but they rescue these 10 kids 14 kids, I should say. 10 of them were unaccompanied minors and the left decides that this is a bad thing. The company's co founder, president Graham Farrar, donated $10,000 to Gavin Newsom in 2018, along with other democratic politicians, and I love it because, of course, there was a violent clash between ICE agents and protesters during this massive raid.
Speaker 2:You can't see it, but I love the sound that's after these protesters got out of hand. So what did ice do? They drop some tear gas on their asses. I would have thrown in some flash bangs for some good measure. Hey, oh, but these are people. Ice is going out and ice is.
Speaker 2:Ice's job is not just to deport illegal immigrants. Ice's job is also, you know, to help stop drugs, child sex trafficking and all these wonderful things, but you have the left trying to stop them from seizing their legalized cannabis growers and pickers. Cannabis growers and pickers One worker died during the raid after climbing up a 30-foot greenhouse and subsequently fell off. Why, I don't know. I can't tell you why. I can't tell you why that happened, but this is what happened. But, like I said, the left makes it. You go to CNN, you go to CNBC. It's like I attacked this vegetable farm. No, they went after a pot farm, but you would think that we arrested mother Teresa. I don't get it. I really I really don't get it. And all they can talk about is first, confirmed death during Trump's ice raids as a farm where he climbed up.
Speaker 2:If you are trying to escape ice, you are more than likely here illegally, which means you are trying everything you can do to not be deported back to your country of record, cause that's what they're doing. They're deporting these people back to their countries of origin. But don't forget, a lot of these people are not just illegal immigrants. These are people that trashed their Mexican documentation. So what happens is, when you come into a country like Mexico, you claim asylum in Mexico, and then what they're doing is they're taking all their Mexican documentation, because they found piles of it in different places and they throw it on the ground, and then they go try to claim asylum in the US, which is illegal as well.
Speaker 2:Agents rescuing 14 children, and 10 of them are unaccompanied minors. What the hell, man? What do you have? What, literally, do you have a problem with? That's what I don't get. And these protesters think they're doing such a great job. We're doing such a great job. We have to keep these children employed, because how else are they going to send money back to the cartels.
Speaker 2:And then I love it because mayor Bass signed an executive order because she knows so much about the law and she knows so much about being a mayor, saying that ice has to clear everything with the local governments before they do any raids. They want times, they want dates, they want no, no, no, no. You ain't getting any of that shit because, as you know, federal authority supersedes local jurisdiction. So you're not. You're not getting any of that stuff. And I feel bad for the guy that died. I feel bad for his family, but evidently he was running for something if he climbed a 30-foot building to evade ice. But can we just say that maybe ice is doing something good, that they just saved 14 children and literally, like I said, 10 of them were unaccompanied minors.
Speaker 2:We still, we're still missing over 300,000 kids from the Biden administration that just kind of showed up and we just gave them. We just gave them away to people, but this was a raid on a pot farm. They're more concerned in California where they're going to get their weed from. Well, I well I'm going to have to go out and get some. You know, I'm going to have to get up some genetically engineered Maui Waui or something.
Speaker 2:You rescued children. You took off a child sex predator off the street and deported him back to his country of origin, but from some unknown reason, we're done with this. To his country of origin, but, from some unknown reason, we're done with this. And then we have another federal judge that is pausing these and I just the legalized warfare against Trump administration is just literally so fucking out of control. I mean, I don't even know how else to even discuss that or talk about that. It's just so out of control that we are trying to get bad people out of this country, but in their minds they need to stop us from deporting people that rape children. I would think that's a bad. If I'm the liberal left, I would think child rape is a bad thing. I'm just throwing that out there.
Speaker 2:I keep reading the stuff about this. I'm just going to call him better and I messed with the Zolhan over in New York, cause it's he is. He is literally crazy If you go back and look at some of his, his previous posts and his previous writings and some of the other things that he'd done. He's done. Radical socialism does not even. That, does not even define what this guy is, and I love it, cause then you still have the left. That's like, oh, okay, no, we need to do. We need we need socialized medicine. We need government run grocery stores. We need. We need to freeze prices on rent, because landlords shouldn't make money, because they should just, they should just do it out of the goodness of their heart. This guy is going to be the biggest nut If he ever got elected. You are going to see a mass Exodus out of New York. And and I love it because then he's also telling people you know, we're also going to do. We're going to tax corporations if they move out of here but they do business in New York. Another one that doesn't know the law. He another one that just makes shit up. That sounds good, but he's going to tax companies that do business in New York even if they are not headquartered in New York. He's going to tax companies that do business in New York even if they are not headquartered in New York. He's going to have to learn some federal tax laws and state tax laws as well. When he makes these outlandish claims, he really is going to have to.
Speaker 2:It's the 50th anniversary of Jaws. Jaws is probably one of my, one of my favorite movies, if not one of my top five favorite movies, and it's the 50th anniversary. And you know what you don't, you don't think about it how, how long this is, how long Jaws has been around, and I think it's great that they're doing so much for it. And then we have we have shark week starting this week and I, like I said, I just I love, I love Joe's Um, and I'm so excited that they have so much stuff now that's coming out for like collectibles that I can never, I can never get enough of this stuff. And but I'm going to talk about a company, but I'm not going to say their name because I don't think it's, I don't think it's right to say the name, but there is a big collector company that is is putting out these limited edition commemorative jaws statues and they're going to have a series of them and, of course, 2025 is the 50th anniversary.
Speaker 2:So my wife, as a father's day president, was like you know what I'm going to do. I am going to buy the collection, because you have to buy them in a series of collections. I'm going to buy the collection and give it to you know, I'm going to give it to my husband for her father's day and then he'll get a couple of, you know, a couple of different things throughout the year. So we're waiting for the very first one to show up, the very the very first collectible to show up. So we're waiting. Now again, mind you, this is an extremely large company that does that, does these things, that does, you know, that makes these collectibles for everyone. So we're waiting and we're waiting.
Speaker 2:And I asked my wife. I was like you know, um, when is when is the thing going to show? When is it? When is the statue going to show up? Is, when is the thing going to show? When is it? When is the statue going to show up? And she contacts the company and says, hey, you know we're, we're waiting, we're waiting for this. When do you think? You know we're, we're going to get it. And we waited for a while. Then we finally got an answer.
Speaker 2:Now, mind you, the 25th excuse me, the 50th anniversary is this year. So she's like well, you're going to get it in August. I was like, oh okay, well, it's not that far. And then you keep reading the email a little bit more and it's August of 2026. So we're getting the. It's the Danbury Mint. We're getting the Dan Berry mint, collectible for jaws, a year after the 50th anniversary.
Speaker 2:I don't know why that, I don't know why that bugs me so much, but that literally bugs the shit out of me. We're going to get it a year after the 50th anniversary. Now, I'm one of these things is I'm literally going to, uh, I, I'm going to go when they have it in the movie theater in August, I'm definitely going to go see the movie there. I'm like, so I've seen the movie about a bazillion times, um, but I am, I am literally going to, I'm literally going to have to get. You know, I'm going to have to go see it on the big screen I wasn't old curious to see what it's like seeing it in in that, in that, you know, in that large screen format. I can't wait.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's just another day, man. It's just another day in this country. So there's another day with a wacky ass left. I love it, though you know you don't rescue 14 minors and 10 that are unaccompanied from working child labor laws and don't arrest the sexual predator because he's got a right to be here, because he's a person. Dear Lord, what is this world coming to, oh?
Speaker 2:we're going to have a bunch of more videos coming up in the next couple of weeks, so make sure you stay tuned. Podcast, I should say, and, as always, true choice at your free. This is Tim. Thanks enough my law and the mad ramblings of a gen xer and I'm out of here.
