Discipline Strategies for Developmental Disabilities was recorded with the hope of  educating parents about specific parenting strategies for helping foster children with developmental disabilities, specifically Autism. This information was shared at one of Family Enrichment Center's monthly parent trainings and we thought our listeners could benefit as well. 

Our Presenter is Michelle Antle  who has an incredible resume. Michelle Antle is the Low Incidence Consultant at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative. She has been named Kentucky School Psychologist of the Year in both 2020 and 2011. She has been appointed by the Governor to the Kentucky Center for School Safety Board and by the Educational Commissioner to one of the Dyslexia Task Force. Michelle graduated Cum Laude from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a BS in Psychology and went on to earn an Education Specialist degree  in School Psychology from Western Kentucky University. She is affiliated with GRREC, Kentucky Autism Training Center, Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs, The HIVE, WKU Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex, and the Franklin Lions Club. For many years, Michelle has dedicated herself to the field of education, specializing in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. She has extensive experience in crisis response, school safety, building effective community partnerships, and improving the behavioral and mental health of students.
