Kate LaSala, CTC, CBCC-KA, PCBC-A, CSAT, FFCP-E, BSc

Kate LaSalla, CTC, CBCC-KA, PCBC-A, CSAT, FFCP-E, BSc, is a professional dog trainer and certified behavior consultant who specializes in fear and aggression. 


She has helped more than 2,900 dogs and their guardians navigate challenges like fear of strangers, separation anxiety, resource guarding, and family safety concerns, with 8,400+ hours of hands-on work with fearful dogs. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, AP News, Newsweek, and Forbes. She is veterinarian-recommended and collaborates with board-certified veterinary behaviorists when cases require a medical-and-behavior approach. 


A former shelter trainer, she partners with rescues and shelters to support successful adoptions and foster placements. She is also a licensed Family Paws Parent Educator and a companion animal end-of-life doula and certified pet loss and grief companion, supporting families before, during, and after loss.
