Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Nikki LaCroce spent most of her life in the northeast before making a long desired move to the west coast in 2017.
Shortly after arriving in Seattle, Nikki found herself lacking a sense of fulfillment and made the decision to start therapy in an effort to unearth her purpose. It didn’t take long for Nikki to realize that her passion for connecting with people was definitively her purpose. So, in 2019, after a year of therapy and the much needed introspection that came with it, Nikki created Who The F*ck? - a podcast designed to create connection, fuel compassion, and activate meaningful change through vulnerable conversations with guests of the show.
Since then, Nikki has shared the mic with a variety of guests from all different walks of life, including painters, musicians, life coaches, abuse survivors, disability advocates, athletes, and more. Through these conversations, Nikki realized that the common thread tying all of our stories together is the resilience of the human spirit and the profound growth we can experience when we commit to prioritizing ourselves.
After recording the first two seasons of her podcast, Nikki faced what she now refers to as her “personal Armageddon” at the start of 2021. In less than six months, Nikki made the decision to leave a decade-long, abusive relationship - during which time her mom and fiercest advocate, Deb, passed away unexpectedly.
At the time the pain felt insurmountable, but Nikki was able to draw from her time spent with family, friends, and conversations with podcast guests to redefine her path. This included an unanticipated cross-border love story, which ultimately led Nikki to leave her full-time tech career to pursue her podcast and other business ventures in Vancouver, BC with her partner, Nicole and their two dogs, Eddie & Moxy.
