What if the most powerful leadership skill in business wasn’t strategy—but connection?
In this episode of Doing Business With a Servant’s Heart, host Steve Ramona sits down with Deb Casello, founder of KEYS 365, to explore how early human connection can prevent crisis, save lives, and transform workplace culture.
Deb shares her powerful journey from crisis response and trauma work to building a national nonprofit focused on suicide prevention through education, empathy, and practical tools. You’ll learn how small moments of connection can create massive impact—both personally and professionally—and why servant-hearted leadership starts long before someone reaches a breaking point.
This conversation will challenge how you think about mental health, leadership, and the responsibility we have to serve one another—at work, at home, and in our communities.
Deb Casello is the founder of KEYS 365, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention through early connection, education, and community empowerment.
With extensive training in crisis response, trauma support, and suicide prevention, Deb has worked alongside police and fire departments, hospitals, schools, universities, nonprofits, and corporate organizations across the country. Her work focuses on equipping everyday people—not clinicians—with practical tools to confidently support others before crisis escalates.
Driven by a deep belief that we are here to help one another, Deb’s mission is to create cultural change around mental health by normalizing connection, compassion, and action. Through KEYS 365, she delivers free, high-impact training nationwide, helping communities build stronger, more supportive environments where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
