Why You Should Make A Big Fuss On Your Birthday
It’s my birthday, so yeah, I’m making a big deal out of it.
And when it’s your special day, you should too!
Here’s the bare minimum vibe: no work, just the people you love, a clean house, fresh clothes, and a fridge full of your favorite food. Maybe a massage to kick things off, and plan the party or whatever makes you happiest (yes, plan it yourself—that's what big girls do!)
It's time to own that trip around the sun and give yourself the celebration you deserve.
Ever heard the phrase “no one likes a tall poppy” (or the zillion other worldwide idioms for stifling your sparkle)? FORGET IT—we need more tall poppies.
Celebrate yourself. Be proud to take up space and make it special.
You deserve to feel cared for; do the work to figure out what that means (I mean, do you even know what makes you happy?) and make it happen.
How you spend your days is how you spend your life, so make this one yours completely.
