Bob Neeston, and nowadays I own my own company, a founder and president of a company called Peak Horizons. Yeah. I've taken 30 years of my corporate experience of trying to do two things. Either help people in their journey to grow, right? Or alternatively is try to help people get off the mountain. I by choice exited the full-time workforce at 52 after living out a 27-year vision. Wow. And now I'm trying to help other people kind of figure out where they want to be.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I know I was so shocked when you're when I was talking to you, you know, and you were retiring at that point. Yeah. Wow, wow, what are you going to do? Well, I don't know. We'll just figure it out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, and to a degree. I was really blessed in that uh I have an amazing coach. Actually, I have two coaches nowadays, right? But you're what? Well, no, she's the boss. You know that. I know boy, do I ever. But uh I went through a program to transition to what's called portfolio life. Okay. It's about life and purpose after 50. And so I have six things that organize everything I need. Number one being a student, that's why I'm here, right? Yeah, yeah. I don't have any skinning in here. Every time you come to DScoop, right? There's so much we see and learn together.

SPEAKER_00

My God, it is. I'm you know, I'm just so happy that they uh they invite me to come, you know, and just talk to people and you know, just go one of the original founders, you know, and so they play off that quite a bit. So and I do too, you know, Matt for real, Matt.

SPEAKER_02

But in the same sense, right? So much experience you can give to others. You know, it's great like this week to see in the last couple of times how many students they're invested in here, right?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I've I've been interviewing a whole lot of students. I had uh four young ladies just a while ago that came and we could hear the story and what all they're doing and what they're trying to do. I had a young man from India talk to him, and uh these are the four ladies that I talked to right there. Yeah, and then I've got some others, and there's some others over there that I talked to, and it's wonderful to hear the story and they're excited about the print. Yeah, excited to get into it, and and uh at least when we'll hand it off in good faith. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So if they'll do good, it's an obligation, isn't it? Right? Like to give back, make a difference.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know, but I try to, and I I I always say, you know, it seems like I got so much in there, and I just gotta get it out. And then I thought, well, I'll get it out through the podcast because I feel like once I'm gone, it's just a library has burned down.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, I've seen it already in some of the great discussions you're having, right? But I think the better part is seeing the reaction of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Right.

SPEAKER_02

People are like, oh, interesting, and huh?

SPEAKER_00

It's great fun. You know, a lot of people they can catch me right here, and I never would have dreamed they'd be watching. Oh, I watch your podcast. It's great. I said, Well, did you like and subscribe? Yes. Well, you need to. Yeah, I need to subscribe. That I have to do, you know, that helps me out in the algorithm. You know, go one day. I want to make money on it, so we'll see. Yeah, well, yeah, I love it. But all the old clan, you know, if you see any of them, tell them I said hi. And you know, I already did.

SPEAKER_02

I sent the picture of the day bus here when we were with Mark Solpa earlier. Yeah, he was happy to see us, and um, it's a gift, right? I mean, just think of that presentation we just came out of, right?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, that's pretty strong, wouldn't it? Unbelievably inspiring. You know, and and I was just talking to Aubrey a while ago, you know, what that young man, you know, he doesn't know any different. He was born that way. Yeah, yeah. But, you know, God bless his parents. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

You know, they were focused on the 30%.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. They they didn't uh you know decide to, you know, in the very beginning, you know, I couldn't imagine, but he's he's done killed. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

So much of it is mindset, right? And some of the things on your podcast you've already talked about. And even in your message, weekly messages, right? How we be ready for today, tomorrow. Yeah, right? Smile, make a difference. Right?

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, all of our group we're always laughing and joking, we've got to smile off the ground. Like the thermostat in Germany. We talk about that to this day. And I'll tell because I'll I'll tell Andrew, you know, because either the way it's uh I say, Andrew, why don't I tell you it's a little warm in here? Well, is it one? Is it two?

SPEAKER_01

Is it three? Or is it fake? I don't even know if it didn't even work. But it was one of the things like these little things and moments we've had together, right?

SPEAKER_02

Whether it was the Israel being in the cave, right?

SPEAKER_00

Or these little things. Is that not an experience to be down in that cave down somewhere?

SPEAKER_02

So inspiring.

SPEAKER_00

Boy, seeing all that and traveling all through uh, you know, going to the Dead Sea, you know, going to Masada, going to Nazareth. Yes. Uh in all of the George River.

SPEAKER_02

So it is it was wonderful. Yeah. Community. Precious time. You're building another community in this. Drive. Thank you for so much for everything.

SPEAKER_00
