Oh we got a countdown, huh.
Speaker 3:We're done waiting. There's no more. You're there. We were waiting way too long. We had some technical difficulties there.
Speaker 2:That's all my fault.
Speaker 3:It's okay. It's okay, you know. So we're here. Guys, we have the Wisconsin grappler here in-house. Say hi. If everybody's aware, it's Zach. I mentioned him quite a bit.
Speaker 2:No, my name's Wisconsin grappler.
Speaker 3:I'm watching up there. I'm going to switch us over a little bit here. There's the middle again, you know. But you know we're hanging out, we're in the cellar while we're in the basement.
Speaker 3:It's not a cellar, it's a basement. We're going to talk some rankings, right. Yeah, for sure I got. I'm kind of I'm kind of double-dose in here, folks. I got a laptop in front of me, so stay with me here as I go through some of the stuff we wanted to kind of talk about. You know, start with some of the freshmen that we're noticing in the lineups and kind of expand on from there. You know, with the amount of freshmen that coming up are great, you know, I, like I told you before, I've actually coached, you know, some of them in some of these tournaments that we've done with Wisconsin Iron, yeah, and with the amount of like high-level kids that we were, that we had on our team, like it's not surprising to me to see a lot of these kids where they're ranked especially just coming in. So it just tells you the level of competitions coming up, you know.
Speaker 3:So it's it's good to see. It's great to see for Wisconsin. I'm going to turn my mic down a little bit. My S's sound really super loud. Look at that. We're having some fun with some technical difficulties here, but we have. I have your, your list pulled up. I have something else trying to pull up now. I think it's trying to pull up one of the kids. But anyways, hopefully you guys can hear us. Let me pull the comments up. I think we already have a T-Guray comment. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Like you guys run at 7pm. Yeah, no, here, we'll put that up, let me. Let me address this T, not mountain time. I said we were having technical difficulties. We're a couple minutes behind. Yeah, we're a couple minutes. It's okay, we'll, we'll make it through. We'll make it through, but thanks to you, we are going to. Let's start at 106. Yeah.
Speaker 3:I kind of brought a couple of those guys up earlier because there's a, there's a quite a few that I know, um, and again, don't mind if my computer does have to catch up. So if you want to name a couple, feel free. So what? There are a couple that I'm not aware of and I'm never going to lie about that. I don't know every single guy out here, especially in Wisconsin, but I'm going to start paying attention. Right, yeah, I've been paying attention a little bit. I took some from last year. Obviously, I know the older guys, but some of the younger guys I have an advantage. I've seen them around for a while. Um, benny Hilbert hits me right away. He's at number nine. Right, yeah, he's a freshman. Um Benny's a pretty strong kid. Right Now he's in. He's going to Appleton East, so hopefully they can, you know, maybe he can get a team built around him.
Speaker 3:The kind of thing, and maybe some kids come up Um, I haven't, I guess, been in the room necessarily up there in a while, but I know that they struggle sometimes to to get some guys uh, either healthy or up to where they need to be, just because of you know, whatever, the lot of kids work, so many kids work, and this isn't their, you know their thing. So there's no shade on those guys. But, uh, benny hit me right away, um, hamel. Hamel was definitely one that I noticed that I've seen wrestle Bayport good school for him to be at good team. You know, solid, solid core. Um, when it comes to a team, hamel has, uh, I mean, he's been wrestling national tournaments for quite some time now. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Since he was tiny, you know. I still technically you know right, All those, all those, that that was just little blonde hair kids that were running around. Usually it was a Hamel, yeah, but it's a hum Uh, yeah, the knowing Mickey uh is noted.
Speaker 3:Well, I want to know to him for a second year because he is, I've watched him in the room, yeah Right, and I've been watching him in the practice room a little bit, get to see him go live. And you know, obviously you can't tell everything from practice just because you're either working through stuff or not having a great day kind of thing you know whatever, but he is getting better.
Speaker 3:You know, I noticed him getting at least a little more solid on defense and not is um, I guess kind of I call it goofy, you know, when it comes to you get tripped up and you don't, you don't know how to land right, and it's body awareness it's growing and I noticed him getting better. Yeah, he's gotten stronger.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, so 95 pounds last year.
Speaker 3:Oh really, no kidding, huh. Okay, all right. Yeah, but with um. That being said, I go down or up to. There's another one here. Well, cam rug. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so rug is um you could probably be higher, but you know it's, I know I have. I'm going to argue with you on that one, yeah.
Speaker 3:Um, so the shaman, I, it's fine, I, you know. Number two, definitely in my book as far as that group goes. But rug, however, I tend to disagree, and you and I talked about it a little bit before. Yeah, um, but again it's the start of the season, yeah, so I. I have no doubt that rug is going to wind up proving himself. You know, I'm pretty confident in that. So I think maybe a four spot would have been nice. Yeah.
Speaker 3:But you know, I think five for sure. Now I again, I didn't, I I haven't been able to. Actually, we talked about the matchups between he and Tegan, right, yeah, they, they hadn't met met.
Speaker 2:No, I didn't. Yeah, I don't think they had no.
Speaker 3:So again, that'll be interesting. Hopefully that that does happen somewhere, somehow, you know, and they wind up meeting, so that'll be a good one.
Speaker 2:It is interesting with the rug and do shaman in the same sectional.
Speaker 3:You know, those guys know each other. They were on my team quite a bit. Almost every tournament we went to those guys were on it. So it's it's going to be interesting. So, um, uh, cj Roman definitely takes some interest in the Willmott group. So you know he's well, yeah, he's been down and around there. I, okay, I, I tell a story every single time Whenever I talk about CJ.
Speaker 3:So, liam, we took him to the parkside tournament and he was right, but he was, he was starting to get better, right, he's all riding on this cowcatcher. Oh yeah, this was, this was the. He goes. Damn, I'm winning this tournament by a cowcatcher and I'm like, okay, all right, whatever your game plan, go for it, let's see what happens. Does all right? Right, he does all right and gets up to. I think it was the third match and it was a Willmott kid. I don't know if they watched him or not. I didn't pay attention to that whole lot, but the um, the kid. The kid was going in for a double and Liam tried to catch him. The kid was just, you know, the same strength or whatever as he was and getting double leg to his back and he held him for a minute, I think the kid only won by points.
Speaker 3:But he lost, yeah, I was like so how's that game plan? Yeah, now we're going pretty good, or yeah?
Speaker 2:I mean, I've never heard anybody say I'm a win this tournament with a cowcatcher. That's pretty ballsy.
Speaker 3:It was a ton, so I let him rip it like have at her.
Speaker 2:It's the only way you're going to learn right.
Speaker 3:Let's see what happens. But so, with that being said, that's a, that's a tight group down there. So I know CJ has um done, he's moved on to more um training, uh, as far as making boys and the men and he's doing pretty good in that room I think, uh, I think we may see a shift, possibly, you know, with Will, you never know. I think he's going to kick it up a notch. He's been doing pretty good. So watching him at a couple of these last events and freshman number two right.
Speaker 2:Pretty good, Pretty good.
Speaker 3:So well done. Well, um, and again I rug, I can argue that, but let's move on to 113. Okay, and this is division one. Folks, we'll get over to vision two. We're trying to just kind of cover. If we don't talk about someone, please stay calm. We'll talk about someone. You know a lot of other guys down the road as well. Yeah, um, but we're just talking about some notable freshmen first. So, uh, going through 113, andy D Piazza yeah, um. And then let's say Parker new. I know Parker fairly well. He's a very, very strong wrestler. Um, the kid doesn't get rattled too much. Yeah, now, when, if he's down, he's still trying to score. That's the nice thing about him, so it's good to see him on the list.
Speaker 2:Our firm has a lot of young kids. They're going to be pretty tough. Yeah. Correct, Like they got. They're loaded like with sophomores and freshmen, like they had. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, for sure. Well, I mean I mean just the name, one right there, you know right? Oh, yeah, yeah. And then, um, like I said, Andy D Piazza. He's looking really, really good. Yeah, he's been working a lot over the over the summer here in the fall we placed at the Brunck. Uh, preseason, correct, he did uh fifth. No, sorry, don't hate me.
Speaker 2:Yeah, piazza.
Speaker 3:Um, we'll, we'll look it up Um but he did lose to the.
Speaker 2:I go Gerdolla in the middle school again.
Speaker 3:Well, my union.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, he transferred there, he's whatever. Yeah, but he he transferred there, but he is, I mean he's going to be in that room, you know yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, let's see he's got something else. Parker related to Ryan. We wrestled at Dodgellin, good question. I don't know. He was always around by us when wrestling and I don't think we ever touched into that T good question, maybe. Maybe if they're watching they'll pipe up, but I don't think anybody's watching. But anyways, moving on again, will my union, uh, strong, strong, uh, showing, that's for sure, the um? Now this is going all wacky, I think that's really yeah, that's that's it, yeah, okay.
Speaker 3:So 120, 120, still division one. Folks, we're checking out freshmen, kind of going over what our thoughts were after you know a day of having them. Uh, all in newville, yeah, it works as butt off. I can't, you know, I can't uh, besmirch a kid, that's. Um, that's a nice word too. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:I think it was. I think it was a pretty cool word Besmirch a kid, Uh, that's working his butt off. Um, there's, there's always a roadblock or two for anyone and Liam is on his own roadblock you know kind of a path right now where they they grow through stuff and he, olin, is definitely grown, yeah, um, so it is going to be fun watching him. I think he has a good chance of catching up here up to you know some other spots.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah.
Speaker 3:Um, let's see who else we got here. Cold Dushato, I'm obviously assuming, yeah. Dushato's brother. Yeah, I'm not. I'm only going to guess that he's going to be pretty good. He's all right.
Speaker 2:He didn't place that uh middle school state last year. No, but he, I think he beat George Jones and and uh those WI George Jones, yeah.
Speaker 3:From from.
Speaker 2:Homestead. Well, George Jones has a win over the number nine guy, so he could be actually higher. But it's just, it's so hard cause.
Speaker 3:I mean, still, he's on the four, the, the row 14, yeah, row 14, right, but he's on row 14. That's there's. You know, I think he's going to move up. Obviously, it's not everybody is going to bloom and grow at the same time.
Speaker 2:So for sure.
Speaker 3:That'll be fun to watch him. Um kind of wrong mouse again. There's too much technology in front of me. Yeah. There's too much technology in front of me. Uh, that's all, all in. I think that's all we got.
Speaker 2:Yeah, there's only three. Or wait to.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, okay. And again, a lot of these kids. I know you know it's just come, you know running that dual team and bringing kids along. It's, hopefully, hopefully we made guys better. Um, sam Gearing uh, not not familiar with Sam, so I can't. I don't want to judge something. Slinger, though I mean slinger's got a history Right, so I can only imagine again someone who's probably going to move up. Um, I know Cade, cade, yeah, so that kid, that kid has come a long way and he's the style that he wrestled is always it's always always wrestled. Yeah, he's just really gotten really good at it now, you know, so it's. It's interesting to see how, um well he did in the off season and see how that translates this year. I think he's going to smash it. Um, you know, obviously he's, he's.
Speaker 3:He's just below some really top dudes. So I think if there's going to be proof that's made, it's going to be one of those too. You know, if I? Again, I thanks to Tegan those guys. They take care of the regional sectional, but I don't know, are they ever going to see each other? Dc, everston, hartford, um tournaments that are the same.
Speaker 2:Maybe that'd be DC everson, Oregon. Right, Then he got to work, hey Burke.
Speaker 3:Are you saying one and two, yeah, yeah, I don't think so, I don't believe so.
Speaker 2:Oregon, oregon, oregon Oregon.
Speaker 3:Oh, they're by Hartford right Oregon, Kind of close by Hartford?
Speaker 2:I don't think so. I'm so bad with this map? I'm not that down by Madison area I'd see, yeah, yeah, I used to from.
Speaker 3:It was DC ever more north, northwest. Yeah, I mean he goes across, so okay, yeah, okay, and well, yeah, I know, yeah, I'm trying to think of, like, even driving from here over to crass I'm trying to. Yeah Down more so directionally, oh yeah.
Speaker 2:I don't know this state at all as far as geographical.
Speaker 3:Oh, here we go, okay, okay, we got there.
Speaker 2:You go help. Help from T.
Speaker 3:Yeah, here we go, this one new on DC I versus basically a wasa, thank you. Thank you, I kind of figured that, but I couldn't. Like I'm thinking of crass, like I can't remember which direction to go to crass from here, cause it's either across to across and up, and yeah, again, I just like I watch a lot of wrestling, cause we don't watch maps the bigger weights, there's not too many freshmen, obviously, but which I?
Speaker 2:oh, that'd be fun.
Speaker 3:You know, yeah. So Landon shepherd, yeah, yeah, state placer at middle school last year.
Speaker 2:I mean, yeah, in comes for you know his brother, yeah, um Caden, um Did he ever?
Speaker 3:I'm not sure he ever made a state, but he was always like right there, Maybe once.
Speaker 2:Maybe once. Maybe once, yeah, I mean, I'm not sure if he ever made a state, but he was always like right there.
Speaker 3:Maybe once, maybe once, um, but he's, he'll do all right, I think Landon will wind up. Fine, um, again, he's on line 14 and room to move up. I think, I think, honestly, just where he is now. I'm looking at the other kids here. Um, I probably would move them up a couple spots, just to you know, cause he's right on that cost, both Right Of that level, you know, and that's just how he wrestles, but he'll, he'll, do all Come up 138.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's always hard, like when you're talking about, like you know, returning state qualifier like what what really like. You know, who did they really beat to get there? Not all sectionals are the same, I mean.
Speaker 3:Well, and that's kind of like I mean even talking about the freshmen, it's really I'm giving a generalization because the I mean they may have run into some of these kids when they were younger and I think that's now, that's three years back, right Right Before those kids. The other, the kids that are older, were in their area. They wouldn't have wrestled them. So I'm just really kind of doing a generalization based off of how good like I know these kids and just where they've been.
Speaker 2:Yeah, there's no freshman in the ranking. Nope 138. Nope Just went through that 144. I said it's going to be few and far between.
Speaker 3:I know which, but while you know, it makes it even better than because then we can get to the other guys too. Yeah, Talk about some of the other guys, yeah, nothing.
Speaker 2:I think the next one would be.
Speaker 3:Oh, one, six mayor at 75. Oh okay, okay, yeah, it's all man 157s, like almost all juniors and seniors.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, then I got. The next freshman on the list is Eli mayor from Mount horror.
Speaker 3:Okay 75, you were mentioning some. Do you know which kids are going to which schools now?
Speaker 2:Yeah, you, I wanted transferred to From sugar river or whatever. Yeah, bellevue Nuclears, whatever One of those tea I mentioned.
Speaker 3:I think I mentioned the last time they had a show like I can't, I don't know, I didn't know some of the towns existed and. I don't mean to insult anybody, it's just I, and I've been all over Wisconsin. Yeah you know, like I can't where is that again? And then again I can't remember which way crosses. Yeah, but I can drive there.
Speaker 2:Well, you're pointing somewhere over there, so you probably it's out. It's outside of my house, there you go.
Speaker 3:It is outside of my house.
Speaker 2:It is for sure. Yeah, you know I mayor. I think he won all three years in middle school. He's three time middle school state champ.
Speaker 3:How do you do? Well, let's take a look here. I'm gonna pull him up. I want to see how he did in freestyle.
Speaker 2:I'm not sure he does freestyle, freestyle Greco.
Speaker 3:Yes, folks, this is what you're on the ride for. Is watching two Guys type of names? So we can talk about him he did not do any freestyle and Greco interesting.
Speaker 2:Really.
Speaker 3:No, I didn't look like it's our bacher kid. Okay, Lou Mounds Looks tough. Yeah, 160's got list. Is he we got? He got a little big huh.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean. Well, eli Leonard's coming in there, so he, yeah, they both can't be 65. Oh, yeah, yeah, interesting yeah yeah, no, no other season I Did have Ortegon. He just got knocked off, so he's the first one To be in the rankings. Like he's just off the list.
Speaker 3:Yeah, from Bondi at 175. Yeah, okay, so he's is it or to gun or is it or take?
Speaker 2:I don't know. I've heard it every which way, so I'm trying to.
Speaker 3:Want to make it wrong either. So yeah we apologize.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we need. We need to like he's the, he's the wordsmith.
Speaker 3:They'll chime in eventually.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:He's clean was. I can't believe I got that wrong, such an idiot. Well, you know. No, I get was. I get to do like I'm working two mice here. This is kind of crazy. Where's the next freshman? Is that huh? I think that's it. So now we're gonna go to D2.
Speaker 2:Okay, d2 rankings so we're just talking about freshman right now that right.
Speaker 3:Right, because the rest I mean we know a lot of the older guys. I know we, I kind of want to.
Speaker 3:Get your friend in the sun, in the sun for a minute, you know, just to let them know that we are watching, and you know we watch for results and we look for those types of things, and I, you know I want to. I have to understand a little more too, because I want to do national rankings right and I just looking at, based off of like you do, like you said, statistics, yeah, I'll go watch some matches, hands down, you know, I'm not afraid to do that. Yeah, but at the same time, though, too, I do want to have a science to it. I want to understand the science correctly. Yeah. So Landon Bogart, right on Weston Ingham, I am, I'm familiar with Ingham. I don't know well, but he did. I know of he's. I got an older brother, correct?
Speaker 2:Sorry, what was the name? Ingham Weston? Oh, yeah, yeah why, yeah, why yeah, he's naturally ranked from a memory.
Speaker 3:Yes, yeah, I was just gonna say why it's so unfamiliar, and obviously I kind of understand that that's that kid's gonna be good. Oh, yeah, for sure, obviously. Look where he's at. Yeah, and in Bogart is that's gonna be a good match.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this was really hard to to rank like that's gonna be a good match. There's four real tough freshmen at the top. Like it's crazy. Like a Parker's bearings is that bearings, bearings, yeah.
Speaker 3:Yep Spearings.
Speaker 2:He's? I don't know that he's. I haven't seen him on the fat, on the fat test list, so I don't know if he's pulling a gray shirt Brilliant.
Speaker 3:If you hear anything or someone says something about the show, get your info in for your wrestlers so we can get him, you know.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, I look at all the. I try and look at all the body fat tests and see where they're weighing. Yeah, they're doing it, not just where the lowest they can go, but yeah it's also. It starts your clock once you weigh right.
Speaker 3:Put that weight on the scale, you know, so it's kind of Tells you where they're gonna be you know, yeah, but I that I've heard of Parker Spearings and I that I would assume I think he wrestles at Millennium possibly, I would think so so. I mean not a, not a slouch group.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and then Shane Ruchin Ruchin. I have no clue how to say that.
Speaker 3:Where is?
Speaker 2:that number three Like oh my gosh, could you imagine rockin maybe? Real ocean having those four. Sorry it's if he's. He pans out what he what. I haven't ranked like that's a pretty killer, for in a row he's either gonna get Humiliated or really good. Yeah, I mean I like that's pretty.
Speaker 3:That's a pretty decent lineup for the top four. Yeah, wow yeah huh, wonder how these other guys feel about it that are juniors and seniors, right, and I mean then I don't say that as a dis again because I remember when I was young, you know it's like yeah, I mean now, but I did a lot of. These guys do not. I mean I did, but it's just kind of you. When you look at rankings as a kid You're just like Dude, right, it's all right, it's okay.
Speaker 2:The number five at D2 was JV. Last year he won JV state but he only lost to Jard Jardian or whatever from Luxembourg Casco by two in the Duffy. So he got. He got runner up in a varsity tournament last year. Okay and all my Like he had to actually bring it, bring it to my attention that I didn't put them on there. And then I started looking. I'm like, oh man, yeah, it's, I'm pretty impressive. You know, briar caves, low die.
Speaker 3:Don't, I don't, I don't know. Briar, I got nothing. I did that one I did not look into. So Briar caves, make some noise, dude, make some noise. That's serious. Dalton Fletcher, wittenberg, burnhamwood Again, a youngster I'm not familiar with, yeah, so obviously he made the list for a reason. Yeah, you know so.
Speaker 2:I believe he was a. Look, he's a smaller guy, I think okay, they might be a okay coming up to 106. Okay, yeah.
Speaker 5:All right, good stuff, good stuff. Hey, go back up top.
Speaker 3:I don't know, I had four man of different, but 113 Again. This is D2 freshman folks we're talking about. We don't know everybody. I don't know every single person. I do know Max. Yeah, max is very good. Uh, max, I think I'd argue some of this for you. Yeah one more spot. I Think I'd argue for you to be up one more. I think, Eddie. Yeah, I think so. That's me. Yeah, that's me Again. I don't watch every and I don't know every single kid, but I do know Max is tough.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's just hard to have a. You know he's a state place, or last year.
Speaker 3:So again, that's why I said this is speculation. Oh yeah, I was talking because I know these guys. I've seen them wrestle, so I definitely don't doubt their abilities. I've seen them practice. Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, max has definitely had some good results.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, oh hell.
Speaker 2:Yeah but, uh. So yeah, it's just hard to put a incoming freshman over a returning state place, or. I'm just I'm playing the match of my head.
Speaker 3:You know I'm just kind of thinking about what you know seen Max Russell and the Hattie, I think, once or twice, but not enough to Right. But I'd still argue it for you, max, okay, I did, I sure would. Um, let's see what else we got here. That's it, yep, one 13. Okay, max, show us what you got. Dude, oh, we got new bird. Yeah, so we got new bird, new bird. Um, obviously you're gonna I mean freshman again coming in, but I, I think I Think, if they're, if that's gonna be a match somewhere, I think Carson does it.
Speaker 2:I know like uh.
Speaker 3:Again speculation, folks, please don't don't hate us yeah don't hate us. I'm gonna see you and find a different view here. Um, keep talking though, oh yeah.
Speaker 2:I mean that was actually you. I mean you, you got to think there's a returning two time state champ. You know he's gonna be one, right? I mean it was. It was a thought like I'm I have to battle with, like I just I don't have many common opponents with them since they're three. No, no, right. So it's like right, it's very hard to come up with someone, but yeah, it's all speculation.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we're just. We're again just talking about the knowledge that we know these kids and I know you it's not like I know you don't go out and just watch video on every single kid. You're putting numbers together.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and that's so that was the one thing that we explained in that one episode Was that it's not based off of feeling, right, you, you know who these kids have beaten. They may not have beaten each other, yeah, but the level of who they've beaten and like the score and things like that, that is what's put into consideration. So it's we're going off feeling right.
Speaker 2:L O O Shevsky would be coming on everything saying why is a kakana guy so high? Didn't that guy graduate? Yeah, because I would have kakana way higher and I should yeah, right, I'm doing feeling, but it's numbers based, I correct. I can't just put oh man, I think this guy's gonna have one good tournament and it's gonna be at stake. One good tournament and it's gonna be at stake.
Speaker 3:You know, so. So okay, so we got that under control again. So um Logan shad, he'll um, I know of him yeah.
Speaker 2:I believe he's a multiple team, multiple time placer placer yeah, correct, correct. Um, you got fifth last year, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, I think you'll do good one saw this nationals.
Speaker 3:Yeah, thanks, yeah um Garrett mender.
Speaker 2:Is that from Monroe Mender?
Speaker 3:JD. No, that was different.
Speaker 2:Oh, he did, he's another one that transferred. They were like oh really, yeah, he's. He's a Hudson now From Ellsworth, yeah.
Speaker 3:So joining team nights, oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so that's a.
Speaker 3:It's another good move, interesting yeah okay, Okay, I think we hit the freshman right.
Speaker 2:I guess that's how do we, how did I miss? Oh, he's a talk. More, though, we talked, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:No, we're jump. That's fine, we're talking, we're just talking wrestling. We know we're focusing on freshman. We kind of talked about random guys off to the side. So grade nine, uh, logan Chad. So we, we talked about him, so that's the only two. So 126 d2, zero, 132 d2 let's take a look Zero, yeah.
Speaker 2:I said it's gonna get here.
Speaker 3:Come on though. Come on guys, can we? Can we get these freshmen, some burgers, I mean?
Speaker 2:they, uh, people say that the, the rankers don't give freshmen enough love, because they're right in there.
Speaker 3:I thought Liam was in me. Oh I got.
Speaker 2:I got one wrong, like Dylan Weigel. He placed last year, so he can't be a freshman again. I don't think you can hold him back after one, but I have him as a freshman in here, so no, good job yeah well done, so he's. He's either repeating his ninth grade year or right, he's in schools.
Speaker 3:I'm not even I'm. Do I need to say more? No, I mean he's so this is a story I heard, because I heard know that braden wrestled really hard a lot and when he was young I heard that they kind of took it easy with Bryce and they like, hey, we want.
Speaker 2:I think like last year was the first time he even went to middle school.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they wanted to make sure that it was just something that he wanted, you know kind of thing I was like, damn, that's hey. Oh yeah, high five schools as uh. Well done, because a lot of times you, you, want the next one to be better. So the push more, yeah, but especially as a younger.
Speaker 2:Yeah, sibling you got a lot of pressure.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and I think he's gonna do well. I think, yeah, I did because of the fact of his he's gonna he's gonna kill it. I mean he's been, we'll go, it's Sawyer for a while. We'll go. It's Sawyer.
Speaker 2:Yeah, man, I bet you they wrestle a lot.
Speaker 3:They got it. Yeah, they got Another, both in the same rooms. Yeah, um, let's see who else we got here. That's it. Yeah, go schools. His brother just got, uh. Uh, was that male wrestler of the year?
Speaker 2:Yeah for the WA or WCA.
Speaker 3:This is a that's pretty cool. Oh, yeah, pretty cool. Award man WCA Okay, 150, nothing Not that. Yeah, come on man. I mean I know Liam was weird, but there's got to be more of those out there.
Speaker 2:I mean it's hard to like. I said, the common opponents just Aren't there, so it's hard to place, you know you know who came in.
Speaker 3:I think who came in kind of big. I think Denny came in kind of big as a freshman, denny, no he was 120. Oh, was that the first? Was it really? Yeah, he was 120.
Speaker 2:He was your brains better than mine.
Speaker 3:That's why I need spreadsheets. Yeah, because the this spreadsheet up here, I think sometimes deletes information.
Speaker 2:Yeah, mine goes way too much. Oh, and I got Silas daly as a junior that she'd love to have. I gotta you take a, they take all these.
Speaker 3:Olympic red shirt. Yeah world team red shirt in high school.
Speaker 2:They just signed in that awesome class for minnesota, so I'm pretty sure he probably wants to be in that class number three in the country, oh my god, it's fucking class. Wisconsin right stacked with him.
Speaker 3:Yeah, holy shit balls. So that's that. That was kind of one thing I was looking at. A little bit more as far as Availability, you know, like it, when you start looking at rooms and and all these guys that are jumping around because of NIL, things like that, folks will get right back on the on the rankings. I promise we got, we got someone like heart. See what he's gonna say Well, cold Bartline from Bayport, you state champ, I think cold.
Speaker 3:Bartline, is he on there? No, he's not. Yeah, I'm 50 or 157. Oh, zach, yeah, thank you, mike. See, this is okay. Folks, a reminder also With these rankings, if you know. Again, thank you, mike. If you notice something emailing Because it's that's where you can store it you could put it somewhere and have it in a file. You can go back and check and double check and make sure that you got the information right, see what else Mike here, I love this chat.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah. I'll fly up the cracker but yes, yeah, that's what I was saying, like very true, very true. He's behind Carter. Uh, what's his? He was like right on the outside, or maybe ranked, I can't remember but the guy that Liam wrestled last year from him, from them that little tough, yeah, well, he was that strong kid at Pulaski though.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, yeah, that's right, that's right. Yeah, that's a tough team, yeah, that's I even saying now Um, what's his name going there? It's gonna be, it's gonna be a.
Speaker 2:It's gonna be a tough team. Oh yeah, they're gonna be gonna be tough. What else we got?
Speaker 3:here. That's it. 190 D2, 190, we're bet we're back on freshman guys. It's okay. Aaron Dunnegan can't. Uh, I don't, I don't want to, I don't want to speculate, can't even say I've heard his name before. What's the sit, what's the school you have there? Uh, that's Gales, get m&m, it's like it's Melrose Mandora and uh Galesville. Can you make it make more sense, please? No, I can't I.
Speaker 2:That's. I think that's three schools actually all together.
Speaker 3:I can't make it make sense.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, I didn't know about him till I saw he beat somebody. That was decent.
Speaker 3:I offseason. I wish him luck. Yeah, I totally, I mean obviously Good luck this season.
Speaker 2:I mean you have the hell of a weight class to start out in.
Speaker 3:Hey, yeah, rolke burling, burlings, a tough kid. I mean if they, if these guys run into each other. I mean right, I don't know what tournaments are doing things like that, but Max Mathias dude, has he wrestled trace before?
Speaker 2:Max no, yeah, I know, I he got. I might argue that one yeah, he got second 82 and max got third 82.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I know it's probably not. He probably ran into Wyatt, you know yeah.
Speaker 3:yeah, I mean, I know they're close yeah trace they.
Speaker 2:They had to wrestle those. The same section, I believe, right exactly.
Speaker 3:It's kind of thinking I didn't look these guys up. I don't remember when they wrestled out Right but I watched max over the years and it's gotten really really damn good. Oh, yeah, yeah, folks, my mic cuts out a little bit. I'm at this point, I can't really help you. Okay, 215 D2, do for 215. Notable freshman zilch. Yeah, come on, dude, can you just put like a name in there, something to talk about?
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 3:I just make up another acronym team.
Speaker 2:Yeah, gt, I mean yeah it does seem like a made-up thing, doesn't it?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I don't think anybody else. I don't think they have t-shirts that say get, get M&M.
Speaker 2:No, actually Trace did beat him in the in the semi. Oh, did he. Okay, okay, okay, okay, whoa yeah, oh yeah, okay, okay, Definitely not I'm still fighting for a max, oh yeah, for sure Still fighting for your max.
Speaker 3:I'm pretty sure he's a fargo american.
Speaker 2:At least, or his brother. I know his brother. I don't think he's gonna be able to do that.
Speaker 3:No, his brother I don't think I don't know what maxed it for a fargo this year. Okay, I don't know if he went or not.
Speaker 2:I usually have that on the side of black and didn't put that on this year.
Speaker 3:Well, there you go. Why you bother doing rankings then, if you're just gonna lazy it all out.
Speaker 2:Yeah, going half-assed, definitely do that geez, brayden Johnson, cumberland.
Speaker 3:This is 106 division three folks. 106 division three, I'm gonna be Brayden Johnson?
Speaker 2:don't know. That's Dawson Johnson's little brother, okay.
Speaker 3:I know Dawson, I know Dawson Johnson, but I've not, I've never seen Brayden Russell. So just coming from the stock he's coming from, oh yeah, I mean obviously he's at number four he's a state champ.
Speaker 2:Two years ago, okay, fifth Last year.
Speaker 3:Okay, middle school At conference.
Speaker 2:No, oh, middle school state oh, got you. No, he won state two years ago, gotcha. Then you got fifth this year. Okay, he's gonna be tough freshman. It's crazy to see how few freshmen's I have in d3. I didn't realize that, like all the other ones, I have a lot of freshmen.
Speaker 3:Deed in the noble. Why a week of freemont and reagan roey? Okay, do I have jade?
Speaker 2:noble in there twice as a small area, I do have him in there twice, okay, what's? Wrong with you? Where's my fact checker? Yeah, you guys people call me out for that. I mean yeah Again if you see something.
Speaker 3:Oh jeez, if you see something say something.
Speaker 2:He's pretty good. He is email.
Speaker 3:I haven't qualified for state twice, hold on, we got some. We got some stuff here. What we got.
Speaker 2:Oh, there you go. That's all the schools. The get high, get melrose or whatever. That's what uh mcdaniel called it, because that's the galesville at etrick. Oh really yeah the trampolou like he melrose mendoro galesville, etrick trump yeah that's the, that's the acronym that you're talking about what in the holy hana? Yeah, five freaking towns all combined together. You're still d2 you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3:I talked to meldow about Some of that as well, about, um you know, just demographics and how the how the things kind of go. But we'll get him on so we can talk to him a little bit about the season, see what his thoughts are. I want to put him on the spot. But, meldo, I probably will be texting you soon. I think my mic is going in and out. I don't, I don't.
Speaker 2:I don't mind whatever.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I'm just gonna turn it up louder so everybody hears me. Okay, all right. So Uh, 106, we did 113.
Speaker 2:I don't know how to say this guy's name, but the why we go freema Hose you.
Speaker 3:Azura, azarra yeah.
Speaker 2:As a warra.
Speaker 3:This is why I do not as warro peak and as warro. I'm gonna say as warro. That sounds okay. Yeah, that doesn't sound like I'm murdering it too bad. No, um, I don't. I don't know, I don't know this one why we are. Freeman has has always had some pretty decent kids come through. Yeah so I mean, hey, he's number eight can't be doing too bad, right? Um, I want to go back to 106. Hold on a second. I want to cheat these guys we were talking we brought him up.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we were just talking about him and then we just stopped reagan roi. I mean, oh leona, three lakes. Like how often do you hear of someone from that area?
Speaker 3:Well, his brother, ryan Roy, was right, I think, four time but I mean again like family stock, but it's, it's a tree, obviously it's coming up, you know. But as far as like Christina Niagara, yeah, like they had Caitlyn Kelly and Bryson, you know, yeah, he's coming from there as well, but like there's these little diamonds in the rough, you know, that are just kind of hanging out in these places.
Speaker 3:That's what club is bringing right a lot of them out and they take it back to you know the their wrestling room, which is awesome. Oh, yeah, even better, Um. So reagan roi and then gene lanobal. I've heard of lanobal before yeah, um, and I haven't seen him wrestle, but I've heard people say good things about him.
Speaker 2:So I don't know twice. So he's gotta be good.
Speaker 3:He's real good. Where does he belong, though? Probably was at the weight lift, or weight watch list.
Speaker 2:Sorry, not 11, but the 11 spot weight list. Yeah, watch list. That sounds bad. It's not a weight list. Yeah, he's not. He's not weightless.
Speaker 3:I gotta change his banner over to see I'm really good at this real live stuff with those. Oh yeah, because I'm gonna. I have on there that you're here, so that I always wind up doing only halfway through a show. Okay that's a people see me zoning off like I'm trying to get stuff straight. But, um, okay, so let's go over to 120, because we did cover 113. Yeah, there aren't any 126. Yeah, brock Enderman yeah he's good.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think he's three times state champ.
Speaker 3:Yeah uh, he's good yeah. No, I mean maybe, maybe a Brock, I'm gonna fight for you on this one. One more spot higher. Yeah. Yeah, I think so. I've seen him wrestle before and he's, he's gotten good. Yeah, he could probably be a little higher. Oh, one spot, I'd fight for one spot for him, for sure. Yeah, for sure, I'd fight for one spot for Brock. Yep, that's where I'm gonna stay on that one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, those that Garcia and Gerber were so close. Last year I think they swam swap matches like it was like twice. I think, they yeah, they were two and two against each other, like it was crazy, like high scoring matches, so yeah.
Speaker 3:See, I know some of these folks, I know some of these kids, okay, I know even the, even some of the kids from the small towns. I pay attention, especially as of late 132 yeah, I would be surprised there's one on like each weight. Yeah, you know seriously for why are we free? I would not be surprised, don't they have the like? They have a like a smaller club out there like that rest factory over there. Yeah, yeah, I think that's who it is.
Speaker 2:Taft goes out there once I went to it. Cool, shout out to the Tafts how you doing.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I mean they. They seem to be doing a lot of stuff, I mean they seem to be doing a lot of stuff. I mean they seem to be doing a lot of stuff.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean they. They seem to be doing something right.
Speaker 3:I mean, yeah, why we got has some tough they got a good coach out there and I'm I'm going to be a dummy and forget his name, but they have definitely have a good coach out there. I know we've talked a little bit about Liam on the side, about you know how he's doing, and but they, they have a good coach at that club. So that's good to see him Trevor, trevor, trevor I don't know how Po-traps, trevor, po-traps. Yes, Shout out to Trevor Trevor cameras right there, I'm going to go get him. Hey, there's the TV screen. Yeah, I can't see that.
Speaker 3:Well, they came but not All right, okay, no, no, folks. I'm not a producer, by the way, so I'm trying to get it to where it's just him and I on the screen, but I keep. I don't want to keep dialing through screens, so you're just going to watch us on everything right now. Um, did we go one? We're just 132.
Speaker 2:Yeah, 138 and 144. Don't have any freshmen, so I'll go to 150 right away.
Speaker 3:See what's down there. Uh nothing. Yeah, come on, guys, b3, it's hard 222. It's the same thing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I feel like there was more in D1. Sorry so sorry. Yeah, there's nothing.
Speaker 3:Man. Well, I mean, obviously then we can jump into some other stuff, yeah, um, because that's kind of what the plan was oh yeah, that's all the freshmen. Was it really All the way to 85. Um young stud this.
Speaker 2:No, if there is, I don't know about them.
Speaker 3:Okay, All right. Um, well, there we rounded out the freshmen right. Yeah. Okay. So good luck to those guys this season. Um, we wish, oh, what we got. Teague's got something here to say as soon as I find my arrow here. We got Teague, because I can't read down.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's the same one we already read.
Speaker 3:I've never read that, never mind Teague. It looked like it was longer, it looked like it wouldn't have been added on. So I'm just I'm trying to multitask here, folks, right? Okay, so let's talk a little bit there. There are some guys that I'm sure you want to highlight a little bit and like do you want right?
Speaker 2:Oh, I mean, we can go back through it if you want like.
Speaker 3:All right, guys, yeah yeah, we can kind of skim through a couple here Um 106. I know, you know Bailey Casey, you can't take that spot away from him. I think Wells close, but Bailey's, I think Bailey's just got the experience on the side. You know things like that, so, but Bailey Casey, hats off to the Casey's always doing a great job out there with the club, with victory and everything that they're doing First, uh, six and 13. Yep. Yep, yeah, Again, it's a that's, he's a definite, definite, uh doing for me. Yeah.
Speaker 3:And then we talked about him older. Because no, mickey, I brought him up.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we brought all.
Speaker 3:the 106 is really okay, okay, notables, you're going to get mad because we didn't talk about your 106 is fine, I'm not trying to leave people up, but we don't want a five hour show, so we could do that. We, I don't know. I'm telling you I'm game, I am still game.
Speaker 2:We will not have two viewers. I know that if we, I know we've had two.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah. I see it, I don't, I don't watch, oh yeah, I don't care. I don't typically watch that because I just like giving these guys what they want, so we'll just kind of go with whatever. So, um, one 13, um talked about DPS, those young guys, uh, jaden Torres, um, I do know of him. Yeah, I like watching, uh his wrestling style, so I hope, I hope he can climb his way up. Yeah, um, well, it's just someone else that's in here that I own backer, uh, ethan Bast, I'll do it, bast. Yeah.
Speaker 2:He's, he's going to be tough. I mean third, third at 106 last year.
Speaker 3:Well, it's um. It's a story between the best and Beckett.
Speaker 2:Best and Beckett, I don't know they they had to wrestle last year, probably cause Beckett got first or Beckett got second at 106 and Ethan was third.
Speaker 3:They wrestling. They had to yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, check it out.
Speaker 3:Maybe Beckett's the reason why best.
Speaker 2:I mean Beckett yeah.
Speaker 3:I'm just curious cause I mean again, I, I, mike is good, don't get me wrong, I just don't know the match. If it happened, yeah, check it out. I want backers. Good, I like going back or he's fun to watch.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean best, and Becker was six one last year.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay.
Speaker 2:All right, Past loss to the night.
Speaker 3:So oh well, I mean, that's a match.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, Seven, oh no wait Ball.
Speaker 3:Okay, parker, new on the bottom down here. Good luck, parker. Yeah.
Speaker 2:That'll be a good. I mean, this will be a good weight.
Speaker 3:Like and I think, I think, I started out here too.
Speaker 2:So like most of them aren't cutting that much or that mean they're cutting much, but like Sternweiss no slouch.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know, in Marshfield that's a great team.
Speaker 2:He came on late last year Like he was on fire. Yeah, yeah, I agree, I agree. Very like out of the blue, I think I might have had him at the bottom of the watch list. He just one 20 staff, got them going.
Speaker 3:I was subbing only him, max and this hay, okay, so I watched this kid for quite some time Shout out to Max and his dad said um.
Speaker 2:I see him everywhere.
Speaker 3:Some of the coolest guys on the planet, right, like I love said. Said full energy is always positive. He's always wanting the kids to get better, so shout out to said um, cedric, if you know what I'm talking about, cedric, okay, um, but uh, maximus has gotten so much better in just the last year. Just watching the intensity that he wrestles with, like it, I know. A lot of times we talk about his dads especially. We talk about the aspect of um. You know, I know we do. He can do better. You can do harder than that.
Speaker 3:You know, especially the dads that were, you know, kind of they're really trying to support your kid. They weren't trying to come down on the kid and that was that. That was said to the max Like he wasn't. He wasn't mad because his kid lost, he was mad because. I know you can do better than that. I know that you can push full potential. Yeah, totally the whole way. And you can tell, max is really that that attitude is really starting to take hold.
Speaker 2:And he's very mature on the mat.
Speaker 3:AWA duels. He looked really good. He looked really really good Um.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, wi Russell duels.
Speaker 3:Yeah. Stay tuned.
Speaker 2:Yeah, sorry, they're not intertwined at all.
Speaker 3:Not at all, not at all. Um, let's see Owen wasky. That is a name I know. I obviously use Bayport, so that's a the one to be watching this year especially. Um, you know, don't sleep on some of these like seven, six, you know kids, cause they're getting better. Yeah, uh, I know scrums getting better, um, so that'll be a fun one Jenkins.
Speaker 3:We've got Jenkins coming up. Uh, he's um, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know he's um, I know he's getting, I know he's definitely getting his rounds in the room and looking tougher, so and he's not just wrestling, you know, just anybody he's, he's looking for the tough guys. Yeah, so it's again.
Speaker 2:You can't sleep on these guys that are down here, cause they'll take over. Move in from D three Uh Noah Henderson to Holman.
Speaker 3:Oh, yeah, okay, okay.
Speaker 2:That's a good get. He could start at 26, but I got him ranked at 20.
Speaker 3:Well, he's going to a good team. Yeah, I mean, I can see why.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he didn't qualify for state but I think he was like right on the cusp in D three Even he had some good wins Right on.
Speaker 3:All right, uh, 126 notables, real quick. He's the Cooper, you know. Yeah, uh, that's one of those calls again, but I just after watching Easton, now in this past couple of events and the way your Russell's just. Yeah. Shlumpi, I'm going to say I think he's going to he's going to be a little bit more loyal. I think he's going to be a little bit more loyal. I know he does well against Cade. I think sometimes gets a little one over on him. Yeah.
Speaker 3:And that's it. It's not. I don't think it's domination cause Cade's. Cade's getting smarter on the mat. He's getting a lot more mad, aware. So I think that was good, Good placing on that one.
Speaker 2:I'm sure I'll argue that this was a tough Kales Linsky. I'm going to rank though.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Kales pretty good. I probably could have had three or four different guys at one.
Speaker 3:So the other thing is too, is I think some people forget about rankings when you change a weight you know, like you ain't number one, just cause you, just cause you want you were in that way.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:You ain't number one on the next weight.
Speaker 2:If you got fourth, two weights down and somebody got fifth at that same weight, the guy at the same weight is probably going to be higher than you at the start. Right, just based off numbers.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you change weights, you change positions. This is how it is. You yourself? Yeah, because it's the numbers man you know like go on, they're wrong, but not always no right and obviously, and you've had no issues admitting if you oh, that's right, okay, you're right on that one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and you fix it right yeah. Yeah, people tell me all the time how wrong I am. It's fun, yeah, and sometimes they I change it before they prove it, and sometimes they make them prove it, you know yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, 132 notables real quick, kellen, weird. So here's the thing. Okay, someone, I guarantee you there's a comment because of Kellen Wolbert.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, that's got to be.
Speaker 3:No doubt Do we think that Kellen Wolbert is a contender for the number one spot Right, but he wasn't number one at this weight. It was number one at the weight below right To two below Two, below yeah, two below yeah. So yes, he's not going to be number one here. Now they wrestle each other. Strong possibility.
Speaker 2:Hey, see if it happens right, you know because that's the only way you're gonna Both love the match, you know. They're both looking for competition. They don't shy away.
Speaker 3:Right, exactly so. It's going to be a fun match, but right now, lucas is number one.
Speaker 2:That's just how it goes. It's definitely an argument both ways. I'm not stupid, I understand.
Speaker 3:You are so biased, yeah, so biased, sorry, oh, we got more here. We got more here comes. Oh, oh, keaton, keaton's on Geez. Zach Hedlop.
Speaker 2:Masters.
Speaker 3:No doubt, no doubt. What else is Keaton got here? Masters Division yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:Right on. Yeah, I mean, is a pretty.
Speaker 3:I mean you're an all-American right. Yeah, I mean I only had a headlock.
Speaker 2:People knew what was going to happen if they lose to me. They got headlock.
Speaker 3:Should I pull up? Should I pull up the match? Should I pull up a match and we could play it on you, can you? Win a pink single, pink single.
Speaker 2:No, don't pull up the match. No, you'll have so many people.
Speaker 3:Folks, you go ahead and look up, you go ahead and look up Zach Pearson on track wrestling. You'll find is was that post season nationals.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it was at Iowa.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, you'll get to see him. Really let it loose.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Only watch the third match please.
Speaker 3:Zach bias Pearson, as he's known in the wrestling media circles. Yeah, exactly, exactly that's. Feelings are hurt. Yeah, feelings are hurt.
Speaker 2:Very biased. I know, it's okay, it's all right. Kakana is number one at all. 14 whites Deal with it. You know, like Jesus.
Speaker 3:Oh, do you take meds? You have to take meds stuff, and then I'm going to. I'm going to do national rankings.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know it's going to be times 50 for you.
Speaker 3:I better. I that's like I said. I want to tighten the numbers up because it's numbers, oh yeah, I have no ties to have those guys that are out there, right? So I mean, are some of them fun to watch? Of course, but I want to make sure that I'm doing something that I don't, because I can't see myself not being slightly biased. I mean, I like some of these guys around the list. You know, I'm saying like I've been around them forever, so it's hard for me to not want to do that, but I have no ties to everybody across the country. Oh yeah, so if I, if I know them, they're great people, but at the same time, though, to like they also know how it works, oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:So 126 is a pretty, pretty deep weight class Really. I mean Carter Freeman, tristan North, whipple, yeah, and then they got cash botting that move in oh yeah, whartonville.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So D three state qualifier. He's got all the momentum. They could probably be probably be seventh really. I mean he could go, he could move up during the season.
Speaker 3:That'll be interesting.
Speaker 2:We'll see what happens Maybe you said I might have landed shipper low, so that'll be interesting, you might.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you might, I'm not gonna, we'll see. Yeah, I'm looking at that right now.
Speaker 2:I toss he could probably be 10. Really, I mean, maybe be above botting.
Speaker 3:I think I think so Well no.
Speaker 2:Right below botting.
Speaker 3:Right, yeah, maybe that one, that one would be, so that's a deep weight class. They're gonna argue if I'm, if I know what I'm talking about, which is fine, yeah. But yeah, that's interesting. Where else? What were we doing? We're going to the next one. We're kind of skipping weights here. I don't know what time is it. Oh it's, we're doing good, we're doing good here. So we got 138. Did we talk about that one? Yeah, no Notables.
Speaker 2:Nice to meet you, just committed to South Dakota State. That was pretty cool yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, no, no Props to Tyson and the Peach family. Good people. Collin McDowell, that's pretty well placed. Yeah, um, that would be your top three for sure.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean Declan and Collin. They'll be a good match.
Speaker 3:Definitely a good match.
Speaker 2:I just think Collin, is this really smart wrestler and not the Declan's not, but it's a contrast, though.
Speaker 3:I mean Declan's a defensive wrestler. He'll shoot, don't get me wrong, but he's not a shooter Right. He's going to let you oh yeah, for sure, and so that's going to the contrasting styles like that'll be interesting.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we got a lot of guys getting a lot bigger, like you know Declan getting up to 38, turner Campbell getting up to 38.
Speaker 3:It's good, it's about time. Yeah. It's about time, nolan Skiba, I'm going to go ahead and argue this one. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2:We got a place at his weight and you know, above him.
Speaker 3:See, this is where I'm going to. I'm going off of bias, I mean, I'm just, I know, I know, uh, Camish and I know Campbell, and nothing against. Obviously we wrestled against. You know, Holman, a timer to yeah or Holman guys anyways. So I've seen him wrestle. Um, I don't know, I just think Nolan's a little low. Yeah. I think so I think I would put him. That's another one. I would argue one more spot for.
Speaker 2:Right, oh yeah, but it's just hard like yep, I know, but I'd still.
Speaker 3:It's one of those things, jd Mender, soft, warm yeah. I had a great season last season, man, yeah, you know 35 and 11 as a freshman.
Speaker 2:At what? 126 or 123?
Speaker 3:That's I get. That's what I'm looking at. I was like God I'd put him up on where spot, but oh yeah, I mean it's D2 to D3.
Speaker 2:I'm not yelling at you, oh yeah, I understand yours being the public opinion.
Speaker 3:I'm yelling at you, peyton Holberg, that's another one, I might argue.
Speaker 3:Yeah, for sure, but you know, like you said, though, like the way it is, you know, one last year you know, you know, I know again, you know, and some of the guys you know, there are ups and downs and you have your tournaments and don't have your tournaments. Oh yeah, I get it, I get it, but those are the guys I'd argue for to see you guys here, me, don't know, you see me at a tournament or something. Remember, I argued for you, remember that? What else we got? Anything? No, no, 144. Going by transit of property. Campbell did beat Kamech, beat a wider mark by a wider, a wider margin than he beat Scuba. But that is splitting hairs. That's right. I'm all about splitting hairs here. Obviously, I'm going off of a motion. So, um, but yeah, you're right. But Ski-ba is, ski-ba is the one I have the soft spot for.
Speaker 2:Oh no, he's saying that. He's saying that Campbell did beat Kamech worse.
Speaker 3:I know. So he's saying I'm just saying I like, I'm just, I'm just going off of a motion, though he's giving me facts.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, we're just going emotional.
Speaker 3:So I'm, I'm, I'm ingesting the facts right now, but I'm still spitting out emotion Right. See how hard it is for me to filter them. Yeah, it's really hard.
Speaker 2:Yeah, 44. I mean, we got her looking first, first title yeah.
Speaker 3:You know, I kind of wanted to look at that a little bit here First in Cradiville. Um, I think knee bower beats Sullivan. Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2:Sullivan's, coming down from 52 last year. You know he pinched he was 144. Yeah, he's 152 last year.
Speaker 3:Come on, Henry, what are you doing? We got Eddie man. This is another good weight class right here. Oh yeah. We had. Obviously we breezed right through it, because we're looking at freshmen but Cole doomer, conor O'Donnell, conor five yeah.
Speaker 2:I mean, it's only a one time placer Okay.
Speaker 3:Who do I put him above? Oh, I'm saying it, just said that again another kid that I've seen forever.
Speaker 2:He won the wrestling. I know, I know I'm just a little salty about that. Oh yeah, yeah, I understand. Like you got to, you got to go through it all, though, like, where are you going to move them? It's not my fault, it's not. Uh, everyone Schroeder hasn't placed, I think.
Speaker 3:Jacob gets his title this year. Yeah, I think Jacob gets his title this year. Yeah for sure.
Speaker 2:Eddie another deep weight, though like Cole reads number 10. He's a two time qualifier, you know.
Speaker 3:Yeah yeah, landon Colson, that's a good move up. I like to see that. J Cole Pankosky, that's always the other Liam. We always saw turn out, okay, yeah. Obviously, he's a couple of years older than Liam, but my, my Liam, my Liam it's not yours. No, it's not mine. During the wrestling season he is yours, Not mine. I'll set the. It's the almost time where I get to.
Speaker 2:Just let go, Just let it let it be yeah, 44 will be definitely fun. You're biased, oh yeah.
Speaker 3:You're biased. Why isn't there a Kacana guy up there?
Speaker 2:I don't know, there will be at some point.
Speaker 3:Who else is in? Is there? Okay, that was okay.
Speaker 2:Let's go to 150 here because I know we got someone to talk about here.
Speaker 3:Right, I mean, why is no? I mean, I mean, I mean.
Speaker 2:I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean.
Speaker 3:I mean no, I mean Kacana wise.
Speaker 2:Oh, the group probably.
Speaker 3:This is going weird. Like this is moving strange. There we go, willmott union. Logan DeFilippo yeah, cool, good to see you.
Speaker 2:I believe and there we go. Hey props to Colin.
Speaker 3:These are so again, then, clearman, I think that's a good placement. I think you're right on that one. However, however, sir, I would put Colin at either nine or eight. I don't know what he's done against Drake.
Speaker 2:Has he wrestled Drake before? No, they're mean, senior and sophomore probably.
Speaker 3:They never like it. Okay Cause I can't remember what tournaments Colin would do, and we haven't wrestled Shanno like anywhere.
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay.
Speaker 2:So, I just want to make sure if it wasn't, because otherwise it's like four years.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's for, I believe one the way I would argue Colin to be up yeah.
Speaker 2:Well, I believe Metsler beat Colin at state. That was two years ago. Yeah, at state middle school yeah. I know, but I'm just saying like, what else can I call it?
Speaker 3:I'm fighting for you on this one, colin. And then I would move jack up. I would move jack up. One more number.
Speaker 2:He's tied to Colin, like him and Colin are close, like I believe Clemron beat him once last year. They're about JV, like their.
Speaker 3:Pember, pember's another good one. Yeah, you let Rabidot call Sarbakar. Sully Ramos. Okay, and Wyatt, I mean, that's a.
Speaker 2:He's all right.
Speaker 3:It's okay, it's probably just going to Minnesota like number five.
Speaker 2:If he didn't get hurt, I don't know what weight he would have been his freshman year, but so here's the thing.
Speaker 3:And I might have been a Grayson's. Nothing but respect for these guys, because he's got some broad shoulders. He looks big, so every time I don't have his state titles on here either.
Speaker 2:Yeah, at least he got the grade right.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and he's committed to 93 and one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, wow, who's who's?
Speaker 3:the one lost Really. Yeah. He beat. He beat Chase DeBlair when they wrestled Dang. Okay, he's got some broad shoulders, he's got some broad shoulders.
Speaker 2:He's got some broad shoulders, you know when they wrestled Dang Okay. All right, perhaps why oh yeah, he was a came out like that was right before we wrestled chase with, like Grayson wrestled chase at a Christmas tournament DeBlair.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, yeah, I remember that.
Speaker 2:You should do. Yeah, that was an event.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, all right, what?
Speaker 2:57. Why.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, well, I know, I guess there's one thing I want to touch on here Colt Sarabacher, sully Ramos. Yeah. Um, that's when I'd argue three to two. Do you think Sarabacher is better? I again, not a landslide. Relax, ramos, calm down, ramos, relax. I think it's a close match, but I think Sarabacher pulls it off by two.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah, I mean, I could see that for sure. That's what I think.
Speaker 3:So that's only when I'd argue on that one. But there's, this is a good, this is a good way class to. Yeah.
Speaker 2:A lot of people that are like, young and making their way up, and have been doing it for a little bit.
Speaker 3:You know it's not like they're, you know it's their second or third, not to again not trying to guess anybody, but so 157, peyton Lee. Oh yeah, that's the one I was looking for. So we got Peyton Lee up there right, and that kid is turning a corner. Oh yeah, I know there's. You know, as far as just putting the work in and getting better like I know Liam talks about him a lot putting heavy grind on, oh yeah, as far as trying to work through things and kind of clear, clear the way for a smoother season, you know, and mental blocks happen and I think I think he's turning a corner this year. It's going to be fun to watch him land and grow. Um, I don't know. Uh, damiano, damiano, damiano.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think he actually moved in here from, okay, california. I couldn't find anything, but he was from California, moved in here last year was to stay qualifier.
Speaker 3:Isaiah Guerrero, that sounds familiar. Did Liam Russell him.
Speaker 2:Uh, no, uh, he was 45 last year for Walker Shaw West, I mean recently. Oh, I don't think so. No, why?
Speaker 3:is that last team so familiar?
Speaker 2:That was a guy who wrestled at Vegas, I think, or was that?
Speaker 3:Vegas. I thought there was one that was out at the AWA duals. That was that size, maybe it was lighter, maybe it was one way lighter. Anyways, ryland Schneider, excited to watch this kid man. Did he get big? Yeah. Um, he got big and Liam's been practicing with him. So shout out to Ryland and Brent Well done, ryland's getting better. I would even argue to have him up to um a little higher. I would move Tanner up to.
Speaker 2:Yeah, do you think Ramon too?
Speaker 3:high? Uh, no, possibly, but Caleb, caleb's right. That's to me that's the right spot. Um, and then you had mentioned that Ryland and Tanner would be a really good match, right? Um, maybe it may, you know it would be. It would be a good match Again. That's going to be close. I can see where you had issues.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, you know, we'll see.
Speaker 3:Caleb Cady Brett. Back Is Brett wrestling high school this year.
Speaker 2:I'm not sure. I just figured rumors, rumors folks. Yeah, I'm not 100% sure. Uh, he probably is, but even if he isn't, he should be here, you know he should be on.
Speaker 3:the Mike my cart landing girl has slotted a bit high and Peyton Lee is ranked way too low, in my opinion, at 157. I would concur. I would concur on especially the.
Speaker 2:I already have a pretty big bias apparently, so you don't need to add to it.
Speaker 3:Oh God, man. Is this guy from Cacona, or what?
Speaker 2:Yeah. Yeah, I mean I yeah, I really want to, but like he has losses to Grant Harris, so that's kind of holding him back and he lost his older balloon. He lost his older balloon, uh, but I mean, I know what I'd say.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think, I think, I think he's right on Lee. Uh, let me take a look at girl here. When you grow, exactly. So the, the dummy, I don't just moved in.
Speaker 2:No, last year he, oh, last year he was California. I was like why? You have them higher than these guys, then if you just fall by last year in California no, here, oh, here, yeah, not a very tough sectional, but I mean sorry, cappellini, yeah, yeah, yeah, Some credit MMA guy, I don't know. Not sure.
Speaker 3:That sounds like a kid from the EWA duels Again. No disrespect If I don't remember any. It's just that there's a lot, a lot going through my brain and I have ADHD working, so I think that I think he does Okay, cool, yeah, liam. Liam was like, yeah, I would not win an MMA match against him Okay.
Speaker 2:I think he might. He might have that on his Instagram or someone.
Speaker 3:Yeah, cool, hey, nice, well done. I made a hope. I say I read Damiano, damiano. Damn some of them. Yeah, I would say Damiano, yeah, they're gonna go, damiano, another great weight class, yeah, okay, 165.
Speaker 2:We got the move in Eli Leonard.
Speaker 3:Yeah, what's up, Eli? You need to let me know what's going on. How can we move? Hey guy, Good to see you. Hopefully we get to see the tournament or two.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I don't think we, we, we do not run into them at all.
Speaker 3:Not at any of the other. I don't know these tournaments that we're going to this year yeah. I have no clue. I have no idea. They're not any of those. No. So, kate Boyd, it's always been fun watching him. Xander Kulkanan he's been fun to watch as well. It's a senior year so hopefully he can he can get up there a little more. Yeah, I'm not going to talk about Liam. Right.
Speaker 3:You don't know a lot about him so I don't Barely pay attention on, yeah, barely Easton, warden, beaver Dam area, that's. It's good to see that. Caleb Tecral, I would almost would argue that one. Yeah. Almost one spot.
Speaker 2:Almost I could see two or three.
Speaker 3:Craig, or I think I would move up Craig, or as well. Yeah. But again, without looking at I don't know the common opponents, I don't know if they met each other. I mean, obviously they're opposite sides of the state. So yeah, I mean that one, I know. I know Chippewa Falls is not close to Sun Prairie.
Speaker 2:There you go. You got that one right, I know that.
Speaker 3:Okay, let's see who else we got here. Xander, we talked about Eli. It's been fun watching Eli. I know Eli's beaten Liam before. Yeah. And I know Liam just I think recently beat him. So it's always been kind of fun watching those guys wrestle. It's been back and forth. I really want to see Liam and Kate wrestle Like that one I thought was going to happen. I think state yeah, I thought was going to Right For third, yeah, but they didn't. That would have been a good match.
Speaker 2:So that's the ref so his debts.
Speaker 3:I know right, yeah, well, I mean, you got to shoot sooner than the end of the match, that too. So okay, and Brandenburg has been around with the, with Wisconsin red, you know. So I'm watching him. I didn't realize he had gotten that big, you know, and once we got the state and stuff like that kind of, I knew he got bigger. But then I saw him and like damn, he got big, like you got big, big Martin.
Speaker 2:T give commented.
Speaker 3:So oh really, yeah, let's see, we got Mike. I want to say that I appreciate both. Thanks for helping grow the sport wrestling in our state. Thank you for watching Mike. We appreciate it. That's why we do it we. This is fun, you know, just kind of sitting around talking, just talking wrestling. I mean, all these kids work hard. It's not to take anything away, it's just we're obviously basing just off of what we know and kind of information, but then kind of maybe having fun with guessing. Yeah.
Speaker 3:The Liam confirmed Pokemon expert. Um, you know you said he did beach pretty good in the in the Pokemon match. So much.
Speaker 3:Pokemon much uh, pokemon, I can't talk, but yeah, he had fun with that. He definitely got to do a number two. Um, you didn't lose any integrity by doing that show either. Your integrity is not stained by working Pokemon. Some of the people out there tell you what kind of fun. Yeah, it's fun for me because I can handle it, kind of thing. You know like I don't mind the back and forth a little bit, but like everybody's got to go like low blows and like has to keep going lower and lower and lower. He can't just just have fun shots.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Like, like see who can be the biggest douchebag biggest dick.
Speaker 3:Yeah, how big of a dick can I be today, you know, but okay, so anyways, 165 Charlie hats off to him. Oh yeah, minnesota commit just signed Congratulations to him. Um, it's going to be fun watching him. We'll see where everybody winds up. Yeah.
Speaker 3:There's, there's been spec about certain weights. You know, like Liam, I don't know, maybe he goes to 57 first, maybe he stays 65. Maybe Charlie goes 57. Maybe he's just. Who knows? Yeah, just throw it up in the air and have some fun with it. No, yeah, when people land, they land. It's like playing spin the bottle. I got it. Um, but great way of class. Uh, shout out to all of them Top 10. Look great, let's kill it this year. Fellas, 175, real quick.
Speaker 3:Brady Sprangers, that kid's an animal. Okay, that kid has and I'm sorry, but the kid has like natural athletic ability. Oh, yeah, the way that he can wrestle and the way that he can wrestle, wrestle through positions like he's not, he's not up at, like answering all the time. No, even in middle school and grade school he was like that. Liam wrestled him back in the day and, like it was, he's like hit an advanced type of style already and he was just kind of doing regular practices, you know, and that's just watching him wrestle with Liam and they practice together. It's just amazing to watch the things that he can do and just what he did last year. Yeah.
Speaker 3:You know when we put them out on the line, you know so that the shout out the Sprangers. It's going to be fun to watch him this year. Eli mayor, do you say you just moved?
Speaker 2:No, he's a freshman. He moved, did you say?
Speaker 3:he stayed.
Speaker 2:He's there, but Eli in there yeah. Yeah, yeah I know Okay, eli, eli.
Speaker 3:Yeah, jake Stofel shout out to Jake Just signing at his school the other day. Yep Going to Missouri. Caleb Denny, that's going to be a good match.
Speaker 2:Yes. Repeat of last year. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:That's. I mean they're both. Obviously Jake. It was a little hurt and he's better now. No surgery needed for that crazy. Yeah, had a bouton. Just had to have his foot in a certain position for however many weeks, months, that's crazy. His dad's like no, no surgery, I'm like what. So that's good. Good for Jake and he's healing up and he looks good. Caleb always got respect for that kid. It's always fun to watch him, man. Did he get big too? Oh?
Speaker 2:yeah, holy cow, 120 to 152, and then probably 75, maybe 65.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, ben Ott always fun to watch him. He's always up in the top. You know at least top three right now, obviously, but he always the top five. Yeah, always. I don't know if he's ever had a below top three year. Let's see who else it is. Luke rocks that name just hit me in the face for some reason. Yeah, yeah, I don't know why. So well, bam, okay, never. I said I because now I go to looking at Brady and this guy. Yeah, I think Brady beats him. Right and.
Speaker 3:I'm just but based enough his name. Oh yeah. Again, emotion. See, that's why I can't do the state stuff.
Speaker 2:I don't like this guy's name, so he's gonna be above him.
Speaker 3:They're both. I mean, obviously, like I said, I get to see Brady. Luke probably does just fine. Oh yeah, but I'm still putting Brady up in that's room. I'm fighting for you, brady, based on emotions, pure emotions. Aiden need him. That's a kid. I'd probably put a little higher bud. Yeah, that one I'd probably put up.
Speaker 2:I would, I would almost put them in versus Brady will be a good one.
Speaker 3:I think. I don't think he beats Brady, though I think he's dead.
Speaker 2:That's what I'm saying, like I don't think he beats Brady, sorry.
Speaker 3:Aiden, I just don't. I do. You know it is Hortonville. Guys are talking a lot of smack to Liam not too long ago.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah.
Speaker 3:And we're gonna do this. So you guys better. You guys better bring it, because that's been going around as far as guys wanting to wrestle another one. Yeah, so you guys better bring it this year. If you guys are gonna, you guys are gonna put it up there, especially your letters. Aiden's a senior. Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2:No way, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 3:Man Aiden, I did not realize you were that seasoned. Yeah. Huh, well, I still. I think Aiden should be higher. That's me, but I don't think he beats Brady. I think you move Brady up one and you put you put him up up there with him. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think that's that. I'd argue that. Um, riker Morgan heard of him. I know he's had some pretty decent success, so it'd be nice to see him. Maybe grab some hardware at the end of the year? Yeah, that'd be fun to see and I'm gonna be brought him up. Okay, next one 190. Let's see he can Fox. This is always starting in like middle of the way class. Yeah, well.
Speaker 3:Conor Marisola. Congrats to those guys, both Conor and Cole, signing to Penn State. Great grab, those guys are gonna kill it out there. Yeah, this all looks pretty accurate to me. Top three Um.
Speaker 2:I mean, the one that I could maybe is a tritz.
Speaker 3:Tritz, I was just looking at that, tritz. I'd probably argue for that moving up one. Yeah. One. That's about it right now. I good job Again. Good stock. Yeah, you know things. You can't go wrong. But is that spelled right, kyler?
Speaker 2:I think so. Nobody's told me difference, though. Okay, I'm pretty sure that's the way it was in that state.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, I have no idea, not the one about these guys is they all have track profile. I'm not the one that looks in the backpack.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's how you spell it.
Speaker 3:Is it no kidding? I thought it was what I thought it was why?
Speaker 2:Hey, good job, I want to just pull that out of my ass.
Speaker 3:Yes, you would Look at the grades you're doing. You're giving guys another year. Tegan Fox it's fun watching him Shout out to Tegan. Um, I again. There's a couple guys that jump out of me on Griesbach. He's Marshfield. I mean, yeah, the Winkleman. We all know Winkleman. So this is a pretty balanced. I would say this is a other than that one. This is a pretty balanced rating. Yeah, so you passed there. Okay, yep, you're welcome 215. In St Clair Congrats to him. Just did a lot of stuff, yeah, lots of stuff.
Speaker 2:Fargo Super 32 worlds right, he didn't go to Fargo. No, yeah, yeah, idiot yeah, even when the nation you beat the world.
Speaker 3:Yeah, handily, yeah. So here's the thing. It was worlds, but I'm thinking it was Fargo in my head. Yeah, but either way, he killed it. It doesn't matter. He's tough tournament. He did well. Did you see it? Did you see that drag? I mean it was all around flow, but like it was like it was nothing. Oh, yeah, just like a poop, I'm gonna bring you over here. That was fun. That was fun to watch him. Garrett, yeah, that's, that's accurate. I don't think anybody touches. Aiden owns that spot. That's a. The rest are the ones you argue on this one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this is pretty tough, All these guys are.
Speaker 3:Mackaye Rogers pretty good, Pretty good. Mason Grull I know he's been working hard. He's looking good.
Speaker 2:Well, I mean he pretty balanced. We just had that injury to the be your damn guy Clat, like he was injured last year too. He was a state runner up as a sophomore.
Speaker 3:Oh really, okay, All right, but this looks pretty balanced. Yeah, the rest of it, I mean Garrett's, garrett's, another kind of kids, and animal.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, I watched him approached against them at Pulaski and he was the finals and big dude and loses a senior and he's a freshman.
Speaker 3:I'm like, my goodness, yeah, I mean, we polished in middle school you couldn't like. He had some matches. He had a couple that he had to fight for, but we won them, like it was like he just made. He's very talented. He ain't touching Aiden, though, no, so there's that. Yeah, it's not happening. Yeah, cole, cole Marisola can't argue that Brock.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he helped, I was. I was wondering if he was going to wrestle it, because he's, yeah, football, yeah, and he did the pinch test. Yeah, he got the first, first hurdle out of it.
Speaker 3:If he does, if he does football this wrestling season. We'll keep him in shape for going next year.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know what Some coaches don't like. You Don't like me, no, don't like you. Risking, risking getting hurt and wrestling.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I get it. Yeah, cause they money on the line. Yeah.
Speaker 2:So, but I mean this is a pretty comprehensive, crazy weight too. Yeah, Like there's a lot of kids that could do pretty well and you know, usually heavy weights.
Speaker 3:Don't look that like and this is fairly maybe Stromberg, but these guys spilled the like, yeah, no this is accurate.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean it's accurate.
Speaker 3:Yep, I like this, no complaints, well done. Okay, really brush over D2 here quick.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we do it quick. I don't know how long has it been, what time is it?
Speaker 3:Hour and 30 minutes. Hour and a half, we're good. We're good. If they're not paying attention, they're going to be able to listen to it. So D2, real quick. Again, we're doing just brush overs guys. We're just doing notable guys that we know, kind of commenting on what we think they're going to be doing. We don't want to take forever, but we're going to a little bit. Right, this is just a freshman heavyweight class. Yeah, we already talked about a lot of this whole thing. Bull guard Yep, love it. Okay, carson, that's a. You know, that's one I might argue. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:JB stay champ I mean a little bit.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Colton Koss, your get M&M, get him. There you go.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's. He just had a match, a close match with. Dpsa at preseason Costed.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, he could be good. Colton, right this brother.
Speaker 2:No, I think that's him right, Colton is.
Speaker 3:What was it? I thought I said Carson Koss. Sorry, colton, that's my bad. The fun part, it's the fun part. It's just always just a Parker Spearings. It's always been fun watching the kid. Okay, let's see, we got 113. Notables Logan Mueller always done well. Hockin owns number one. Sorry, I'm not going to give anybody else the opportunity on that one. No, yeah, take Landon your Jandron. Yeah, yep.
Speaker 2:Yeah, no, you already talked about Max.
Speaker 3:I know, okay, yeah, addie, yep, yep, yep. Okay, benny Miller, um, you know, benny should be up a little more, I think. So I think, like that, one's based off emotion as well. But I mean, this is the the aim re kid.
Speaker 2:I don't know him well enough to put Benny, I mean he had 19 losses last year.
Speaker 3:No, I know, I know. It's just that now I'd have to look at who you know, like that's the science of it all. Yeah, sure Putting it together. Okay, brent Brent Kajaric.
Speaker 2:They could maybe be hard.
Speaker 3:I'm thinking two spots, if not maybe a few more, you know. Actually, I know Kajaric and I'm I put him against Benny Miller. I think he beats Miller.
Speaker 2:Okay, that's interesting.
Speaker 3:Um, here's, here's the thing. Miller's got a gas tank. I think Kajaric is a little more sly. That's it, yeah. No, and I know both these guys have watched them both wrestle forever Close. I think it'd be a close match by all means, but I think Kajaric's a little low. Yeah. And I'm sure Logan Meyer's dad could be like he wrestled him. I don't know.
Speaker 2:Usually the grandpas, though I've had some ones that tell Is it yeah?
Speaker 3:It's the and the, maybe the moms once you get a mom email.
Speaker 2:Not really.
Speaker 3:No, it's expected right. Yeah, it's, it's just part of the game, oh yeah, for sure. Um, charlie Mute, no, that's, that's again. I think Carson Newbert is tough, you know. Yeah, and I Brady Collins. This is pretty accurate all the way through. Yes, was a true Lochner, yeah, yeah this is pretty good. That's pretty good. I'm going to leave that alone. 126. I'm in D2, right? Okay, good, yeah, sure yeah.
Speaker 2:I'll be like whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.
Speaker 3:Different universe. Yeah, lane Anderson, I like watching Lane. Your kid's pretty good. Yeah, peter Thomas Savick, the kid's been working his butt off. I've heard. Yeah, I think he's gonna. I think he's gonna beat your ranking this year.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean I think so. Yeah, I've said I was, I was Enjoy when I'm wrong.
Speaker 3:Jimmy Racer. That's a kid I've known since God was a child. I mean Liam and him have gone back and forth since they were kids. Yeah, I mean Jimmy used to beat him all the time, oh, really All the time. Liam's bigger now, but I mean then the one match, the qualifier going, he would have both of them would have made it, but I was the winner and Liam hadn't beaten him. I mean, you beat him by a point. Okay, Jimmy had hurt his knee. Man, that was a good match. I mean, you know all the matches that we have like pictures of and like video of. We didn't video that one, we lived in the moments, yeah, we lived in the.
Speaker 3:Moment.
Speaker 2:The one time, one time yeah.
Speaker 3:The one time. But Jimmy's a good kid, I would argue up for him. Yeah. Yeah, man Look at his record.
Speaker 2:Yeah for sure, nine losses. The first one was pretty impressive, dick. I think he might have lost the start, though I'm not going to go dick.
Speaker 3:He's been called worse. Hey, Jamie, you go ahead and email him. You let him know.
Speaker 2:Pretty sure he has before.
Speaker 3:Jamie, you let him know that he should be higher Right Again. No, no, shame these other guys. We're going to go to 132 was pretty.
Speaker 2:Where is he? He's mean, you got him in there.
Speaker 3:Yeah, oh yeah, tray should be higher. Yeah, oh, dude, come on, what is wrong with you? I know that one's wrong, that's wrong. Yeah. That's wrong.
Speaker 2:Whores losses to I don't know. I have to double check there. There's no reason he was down there.
Speaker 3:Big pile of poo. You don't put Tray way down there. You don't put Tray down. Nobody puts Tray in the corner.
Speaker 2:Put him in the corner. I just put him on the watch list.
Speaker 3:You put him on something. There's a load of who you. Oh Jesus he doesn't blow there. He doesn't belong there. Tray, I'm fighting free on this one. This one I'm solid on this one is no way Watch list. He should have a number next to him. So I'm his grandpa Now his grandpa probably would say something he lost to Goose De.
Speaker 2:Where do I?
Speaker 3:Goose, de, goose, de Goose De. Come on, what was the score End? What, yeah, still fighting for your Tray.
Speaker 2:I mean one spot, still fighting for it, always getting up Hunter Bozeal 47 and 22.
Speaker 3:Watch list. Yeah. Okay, okay, reed Sperly kind of owns that. Yeah, that's so, yeah, yeah, I think so, yeah, okay, good, 132. Brush over Colton Hosh. Good wrestler, you can't argue that one.
Speaker 2:Maybe it's his first title, cole.
Speaker 3:Has Cole wrestled him? Have they had that? No, he was 20.
Speaker 2:Head to head he was 20 and he was 32. So I don't believe they have.
Speaker 3:Okay, so I think Cole wins that. Yeah, in a match, yep, I think Cole wins that match. Ethan's tough. Now, this is so. These are some of the kids that wasn't able to talk about before. Ethan's been on almost every dual team that I've had. Yeah, dad's cool, mom's cool. He's definitely beaten Huntley If he won whatever we like in time.
Speaker 2:He'll beat Tokyo Sweet speed.
Speaker 3:He'll beat Thema Dude. He'll beatmin out of. Acc if he's knocked out there. Okay, matt, 25 men putting on the current 해ãoBeast until Fabi Trainer's been putting out sales. Wasn't enough. Dad on his lower extremities.
Speaker 2:Well, uh, yeah, he just said coals out for the year.
Speaker 3:Well, uh, way to do your homework, zach. You're getting grades wrong. You have guys on the list that don't belong there.
Speaker 2:I mean he's still belongs there, it's just preseason. So once he doesn't wrestle like did he weigh in? I don't know, didn't you have the information when I, when I yeah, I do, but when I, when I checked, they hadn't, they hadn't put it on there. They don't have to put it on there till the first competition.
Speaker 3:So, oh, really, that's the rule on that one. Yeah, see, I didn't read through the coach's rules.
Speaker 2:I know you guys are allowed to do, I don't know the rule. I mean you have to have a body fat test to wrestle Yep.
Speaker 3:Yep, correct. Yeah, totally get that.
Speaker 2:No, you can do it the day before if you wanted to and then make, but it has to be within the way.
Speaker 3:So yeah, definitely Ethan's beating Cole then.
Speaker 2:So you know he has a bold prediction by you, yep, I put it out there. He is definitely going to Ethan your number two, nicole.
Speaker 3:Yeah, ethan, your number two. Yeah, bob Huntley goes to number three. Trent Kirkland, chase Turner Sternard. Sorry, chase, I didn't mean to do that. Chris Meyer, hey, chris Meyer, campbell sport, that sounds familiar. Is that Chris Meyer at a Eppleton West?
Speaker 2:That uh, was that Chris Meyer? Is that Chris Meyer?
Speaker 4:I don't know, that was Meyer but I don't know it was Chris.
Speaker 3:but he was so nervous. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, for no reason.
Speaker 2:I mean he had beat Toby last year.
Speaker 3:Lane Fry is also a get M&M. Yeah, nice, he beat who last year.
Speaker 2:Two years ago. Oh, he beat Toby like the guy that he. Mcguire. Toby Kavanaugh. Oh yeah, yeah, Kavanaugh, you know, run the mill for 52, but he was yeah, All right, man, this this looks pretty.
Speaker 3:I mean, other than you getting someone wrong, who's going to be all for the year.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, I still think he gets second.
Speaker 3:Everybody moves up who's who's below Lane on your list, Cause he's going to move up.
Speaker 2:I don't know. This isn't the computer I work from. I don't have my list on me.
Speaker 3:You are killing me, dude.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 3:One 38 real quick brush over. Blakely bastion. Yeah. Kind of to me owns that spot, I mean he pinched 32.
Speaker 2:So it'll be interesting Like yeah so many wrestlers to get in the lineup, so it's hard to.
Speaker 3:I know he's been talking about cutting you know down for state or whatever. I think mom and dad told him he's insane.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was like yeah, that 32, then you would need Newbert to go down, right, yeah, right, I know New one's at 20 already.
Speaker 3:Garrett Marks, devin, one key down below here, cody Fleck, uh, I think you have Garrett Marks a little low. Oh, yeah, yeah, I think he's a little. I think at least maybe one or two. Well, obviously you need to move. No one up Likely's in the right spot. These guys, Jackson Black and, yep, will Schmidt. Yep, I just feel like Garrett's a little low. Um, devin, he's getting bigger, so let's see, I want to see how he does with this weight class.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so, another kid I've known forever. Uh, garrett, I've known forever. That's why I believe he's a little low. But again, based off of motion, oh, yeah, um, it's all like after that weight class. I mean, there's like three or four kids that I mentioned that are that are notable. Hopefully they make a move up. I think a couple should be up. One more, yeah, um, but we'll go there. 144. This is still D2 guys. We're trying to hurry. Danny Heiser owns this. I'm not even going to argue. Yeah, you can't argue with me on any of it.
Speaker 3:Danny Heiser owns it. Caleb Delebreau Um, you know obviously good stock. Uh, I think these top three are correct. Saw your daily, I think, is one more up. Yeah, yeah, I think he makes top four, not like that. It's a freshman, though. It's pretty tough.
Speaker 2:I don't know yeah.
Speaker 3:You know, let's put it out there. Yeah, I could understand it. I think Bryston moves up with them. Yeah, you know, I'm sorry, dylan, sorry about that, but that's where I'm at with that one. Um, let's see. Prairie to Sheen Mason Hurd. That's what's familiar, right, nickel? I know I've know of Riley's been around the air. I mean he's from Ripon so I've seen him wrestle at tournaments.
Speaker 2:It's from Kokona Huh, from Kokona, I know that you think that's a good thing. I know that you say it's from Ripon though it does, you got him under Ripon. I know what I'm just saying. He's from Ripon.
Speaker 3:He's not from here anymore. No, he's from, stop Zach.
Speaker 2:Yeah, started in Kokona.
Speaker 3:Either. Yeah, Yep, Yep. So that'll be interesting to see how that goes Um under Sanchez. I don't know him. Spencer Madsen. Um, you know, I think he's a little low. Yeah. I know Spencer has had, you know, a couple hard matches here and there, but I think he's a little low. I think Spencer goes up, maybe two more. Okay, but that's me. Um, dylan Weigel, those guys are all you know. Sorry God, I just think that's a weird. That's just a weird spot. Oh yeah. Yeah, that's tough Okay.
Speaker 2:It's a good problem to have it is.
Speaker 3:It is so that those notables there, 150 D2 guys, 150, um Owens of Fruit, brody Hart, hey, you think. Yeah, okay Good match though. Oh yeah, good match. I mean, owen's been making his way through, he's getting a little bigger. Um, it'd be a good match. Yeah, I think it's. That's a little. That's a little close. Yeah, that's a tough one and Marco Brody's just got. I mean, he's been through a lot, you know, as far as just in wrestling in general. Yeah, just the season, you know wrestlers home?
Speaker 2:Okay, marco, that looks like you're close, last year, you know, I know, I know so has suffered, has suffered. How are you?
Speaker 3:Suffered. Yeah, jacob Derotcher Really Down there.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he lost to Rich Yankee, I believe.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay, um, let's see Logan Olmsted. You have nothing to add to any of these guys really.
Speaker 2:I'm really. I mean, these are all. These are all like, uh, you're kind of sitting there.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I mean nothing to add on these guys. Gaze Lojoich Um, I'm hoping. I think he's number two, I think he should be. I think he'll prove himself this year because he just keeps getting better. Yeah. He just for some reason, he just keeps gaining every year and it's always nice to see with him. Williams wrestled him once or twice. Austin, austin Coffner Okay. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Boxer Elliott Lutheran, damn it. Hey it would be Brock Swanson. That's gonna be a good match right there. That would be a good match. Um, vincent Cook. Is that Kisash? I'm gonna murder it. I'm not saying it. I won't say it. Yeah. I'll spell it so they know KSIO, sszk. No, I'm sure someone's gonna pipe up with something. I bet, yeah, I don't know they should, because I'm doing it wrong and that's why I only spelled it and not said it.
Speaker 2:I don't even want to try it either.
Speaker 3:I you know because of the name. I'm gonna root for him, though, yeah. Because, I screwed it up. I'm gonna root for him. Yeah, that's fine, that's cool, All right. So I have faith in Coffner. I think, I think, and I didn't even he hasn't. He didn't come into kangaroo this year. No, no yeah. So I guess I wish him luck, because I haven't seen if he's gotten better. He hasn't been around, yeah, so he he Ronsman, that's accurate. Yeah. That's accurate. Okay, all right, 165 quick, 165 D2.
Speaker 2:Oh boy, this guy's coming back from injury. He was injured last year.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Halopka.
Speaker 3:Klinkner huh yeah, halopka, yep, klinkner is up there.
Speaker 2:Yeah, fourth at 60 last year, I mean yeah. Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3:I think this is all accurate on this one. Yep. Nope, that's accurate. Bryce Mayans. Yep, I like that. Okay, moving on. Yeah 175. Oh, let's see here Silas Daly. I mean, that's a given, he's in. Okay, I'm going to, I'm going to put this out there right now. Okay, yeah.
Speaker 3:A lot of people talking smack about Liam after the whole Owen Wasley thing. Oh, yeah. The whole like okay, so let's let's get this clear Like this, the number one it was an event, right, it was a good match. Owen put up a fight and obviously you know he got the better right, yeah.
Speaker 3:There's a lot of smack talk going around. Oh yeah, well, liam shouldn't be here. Liam should be there. And, honestly, like Liam, liam looks at it and he doesn't like, like, study it Right. Like he's like, oh where am I? Oh, cool, you know, kind of thing that, but losses bother him. Yeah, I should.
Speaker 3:So then, like you got guys talking smack like why is he running from Charlie? Oh yeah, you know all this other stuff, but Charlie's great, like. Do we think? Like we don't know, what that would have been like if he was. You know, however, it would have turned out yeah, but to label kids like I have a hard time talking like real smack about kids. Oh yeah, Again, we talk about how hard they work, right, I mean, speculating about a match is one thing, and talking about what you think that one kid might be able to do against another one is one thing. Yeah, to be putting out there like you think a kid is just going to get smacked down just because of whatever, well, why would then? Why should he go wrestle the event Then, if that's all he's going to listen to, is you saying he's going to get smacked down? Yeah.
Speaker 3:So, but at the same point though, too, that is a learning session, right? I mean, now you know what you don't do when you're on bottom right. He's got a learn from it. You don't stick your leg out so they can put the leg in, right, that's about it, because he had two really good shots. Yeah, didn't finish, you know whatever I mean. I know Owen's been working on defense, stuff like that, and people are talking about Not taking away anything from Owen, but you know that match goes a little differently, but they're not even going to be the same way.
Speaker 2:No, it doesn't look like it.
Speaker 3:That sucks. Patrick Moore shout out to Patrick and family.
Speaker 2:I think I might have his grade wrong too. He might have seen you, I'm just going to go through here and fix all this crap.
Speaker 3:Well, what has he?
Speaker 2:got here. Oh, flip a coin at 150.
Speaker 3:Yeah, oh yeah, my mouse is all weird.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean technology. That was Seth Rodden Hart is what he's talking about.
Speaker 3:Yep, yep, yep, very true, very true. I want to put it up there. Yes, d flip a coin at D254,. Yes, correct, correct.
Speaker 2:That'd be a great match, if it happens.
Speaker 3:Got a couple people here. You know it's fine, cool. Ok, so we got Jacob Hoppe, nolan Kulash, kilcheski. There you go, kilcheski Got it.
Speaker 2:You're going to be like? No, you don't. They always make fun of the way I said. Is this Antigo or Antigo?
Speaker 3:Antigo, antigo, come on man.
Speaker 2:Two country Antigo, antigo, no Antigo.
Speaker 3:It's Antigo Winberg, burnhamwood. No, it's Burnhamwood.
Speaker 2:There's the Ingham, the next one Is it.
Speaker 3:Portage, is it Portage? Yeah, is it. It's Portage, portage, but I show it to Patrick. There's a couple other ones in here. Jacob Hoppe, I mentioned him, I've been, you know, he's fun to watch. Nolan, he's fun to watch. This is again a fun, I just think. I think maybe Patrick's up one more.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know what I'm saying oh yeah, two more qualifiers, definitely.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and then I think he has a you know a match against a couple of these top guys here. Yeah.
Speaker 3:But Silas owns number one, ok, 190. Let's see here Notables that I know that I know. Remember, I don't know every single one of these kids, so if you guys want me to know about them, let me know about them. I'll gladly have them on the show, gladly. Owen Berling I think I brought him up a little bit before I kid he works his butt off. He's another EWA kid, Is he? Yeah, yeah, liam's wrestled against Max Mathias. I mean to me Whatever these other guys own. This is based off of emotional, but I think Max puts up a fight at the top spots there. Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2:Yeah, like I said, Hangum's tough, like that's.
Speaker 3:That's a different match, like that one, obviously we prepare for. But like just the, I think Max is, he's working his way up there. Yeah, I definitely think he's contending here. Okay, so that was real quick. Sorry, guys, we got to kind of chug along here because I got some stuff I got to show you here that we're going to possibly doing for some giveaway. So we got a false thanks to you, I guess. If I reckon Ian Smith, I know that one. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Chase, mathias, obviously his brother Max. Well, how lucky are they. What have practice partners?
Speaker 2:You know like I mean so close and wait to know right they probably hate each other, but not every day.
Speaker 3:But I mean, yeah, he likes lies gang. Good that kid. Yeah, eight foot tall Is he? Is that him, Kale lies gang.
Speaker 2:Not, he wasn't last year.
Speaker 3:There's a lot. I'm pretty sure it's lies gang. That's like 5,000 feet tall. Is it.
Speaker 2:I don't think he was last year.
Speaker 3:Lies gang yeah, it's like super tall, is it? Say here, is this new? Nope, nope, not new. Thanks, t, I just put up your old message, so that's all I got. I lies gang that's a name that I know from wrestling.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this was a. This has a lot of kids like just on the cusp of being like it's probably seven or eight kids deep. That could be like up in watch list Like it's. It was one of the hardest ones to your top.
Speaker 3:Your top is accurate here. Yeah, like Blake theory and things like that, definitely yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this one was pretty cut and dry Like obviously chasing Ian. Yeah that happened last year, but could go either way.
Speaker 3:So I'm at 285 now. Yeah, I mean Koyapki, yeah, he owns it.
Speaker 3:Hunter. Yeah, yeah, I put him up in number two for sure, the kids, I mean, he's got a different type of like Matt presence, especially when he turns it out. He like he turns it on like you can see it in his face. Yeah, it's when you see that. It's when I start watching him like, oh, he's, the other guy is not making him happy right now. Then he turns it up and just it's usually like a throw yeah, you know, winds up, just letting it rip.
Speaker 2:So that's always fun to watch him Sure.
Speaker 3:Yeah, willie Graham, stanley Boyd. Oh, where's there any strange towns on this one? There's get M&M again. Yeah. Man, they're really getting M&M yeah they are. Rhinelander Right on, I believe they're. I've heard that I've heard them bring a ball Again. It's before.
Speaker 2:What's up? They were D1 for a couple. They keep going back and forth. They've been D2 and D1.
Speaker 3:It's a small small town, isn't it Rhinelander? No, I mean that's D1 and D2. It's small, but it's not that small.
Speaker 2:No but it's, I think your con is not that big.
Speaker 3:Not very true. Yeah, very, very true. It's just because everybody moves here, that's all Okay. D3.
Speaker 2:D3. Mander says he's 6'7" oh okay, all right Cool. Yeah, so you're right, cool Cherries, I guess, if you think 6'7".
Speaker 3:It's tall, six foot six U. He's young Cherries, pretty young, 6'7". Yeah, that's that's you. That's Kale, right? I mean, that's what I was talking about, like the dudes. It's insane how big this kid is.
Speaker 2:That must have a different guy in mind then. So Unless he grew, we watched.
Speaker 3:We watched some of the WR Russell duels, the AWA duels, and we watched him wrestle and then, like I couldn't, he's the one that just beat Tyson Martin. I didn't even not watch him, like I just watched. Like I watched him warm up because he was so tall, then I watched him wrestle. So it was like, how are you making all that work? Oh yeah, you know, like it's just, it's impressive. So I high-fived him.
Speaker 2:We are going to If you can reach it Like I don't know if you could.
Speaker 3:No, but that was the thing is, some guys are trying to go upper body and like how are you going to do that when you're reaching six feet in the air? Yeah, You're not an underhook, that Right.
Speaker 2:You're shooting on the legs but then he reaches over you as a headlocker.
Speaker 3:I think I would try you would all day just like this yeah, all right, d3, d3. Folks, we're almost on. All right, we got some giveaway stuff to go with, so stick with us here. Um, let's see, I'll go through this.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:D3. Come on.
Speaker 2:Pull it up. Bruinfelder Number one yeah, underwood, that'd be. I started on the bottom, so you start on the bottom.
Speaker 3:Yeah, for some of Jackson bogats.
Speaker 2:The nobles on there twice again.
Speaker 3:So I got to that you should just bring the computer you work with here.
Speaker 2:I don't know that's a huge Mac, I can't do it. Okay, I got desktop ones. What I use?
Speaker 3:Oh, okay, it's a.
Speaker 2:PC 42 inch, like a.
Speaker 3:PC type thing. Yeah, you can still bring that one. Okay, tv Show you care, you know, just show you care.
Speaker 2:You wouldn't be able to see my face.
Speaker 3:Lies couple of freshmen. We talked about Parker Owens. I know him like under the top. I mean, do you hear it? It's accurate, oh yeah. So, 113 real quick. Come on 113. Drew Dolphin, that's accurate. Roger Fleegie.
Speaker 2:You like Fleegie you do I'm at the King of the North. Yeah, what happened there? I don't know. I don't remember either.
Speaker 3:I don't know. I was in the back by the wrestlers. I wasn't in by the bands. Yeah.
Speaker 3:We were kind of watching, but then we were trying to get the screen working, so I wasn't watching a ton of the matches because I was trying to get everything going so the guys could hear it. Derek Goddard Demirath, mason Mason Demirath I was right over here, you know, so I've seen him wrestle a little bit when he was younger, so he's always been fun to watch. Lincoln Bayer I know that name, but Drew owns that. Yeah, drew's just too. It's kind of a weird way to say it, but he wrestles with Pizazz. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Did he sign somewhere? Can I? I think I thought I saw something but can I? Just let you know that we're at the With Wisconsin Red and he's Any leg cradle to kid Any pose for the camera Like this he's like mom, take my picture His track wrestling profile picture has to be like one of my favorite, I'm pretty sure.
Speaker 2:He's like got a mohawk or something like when he's five. Oh yeah, like he's just like squeezing you, keep that one. Oh yeah.
Speaker 3:He's just like posing for the camera like you said yeah, that's Drew is just, he's fun to watch, yeah, but I, fleagie, yeah, okay, we're gonna move on 120. I'm I can't make a decision there. It's hard, but I, I think Fleagie's too. But I know it's Connor.
Speaker 3:Always fun to watch him. I know he pays attention to stuff on the show too, but he's just a fun kid to watch Russell. I think he'll move up. I have faith in that one. Jake Fitzpatrick, I mean, yeah, just he owns that spot too, so I can't argue there. Mason doing you know I might.
Speaker 2:He. Shramps he was one and one with Kale Quineance last year. He panned him Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 2:And Kale beat him like 10-3 or something. Okay, okay, it's just that feels that one doesn't feel right, but Numbers are numbers right, yeah, I mean, yeah, that's, I mean that's pretty accurate, that's gonna be. Isaiah.
Speaker 3:Sanchez, that's pretty accurate. I give that accurate. Yeah. Yeah, he's a tough kid. Sometimes some matches get away. Yeah, he's a tough kid. That kid's worked hard too. Another one that's I can't believe he's still that small and Liam got that big because they used to wrestle each other. Oh yeah, so yeah, kind of odd. 126. D3, 126. Gerber. I've heard of Gerber several times and I've watched, I've seen, a couple of his matches. He's good looking. Sophomore Koji. Yeah, owns number one. I am gonna say this.
Speaker 2:You're talking right, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3:Yes, that's, that was a good match.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, that was a good match. I wonder what the? Catch weight was there because that's how. I wonder what the catch weight was like, what they had to weigh in on.
Speaker 3:I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2:Did Hocken just give up weight, maybe, maybe. I don't see him weighing 26.
Speaker 3:So here's the thing with me, and I've always said this yeah. Because Liam's Like from day one, we didn't cut a lot. It was a couple pounds maybe just to get to the closest weight class he was at, you know, but we didn't cut right. So I don't buy it Fleegie, fleegie.
Speaker 2:Yeah, what Teague's telling you? It's flaggy, I think is what he's saying. Flaggy I don't know how you said that.
Speaker 3:That looks like fleegie to me. But okay, whatever Teague knows, he talks a lot of those people I'll go with flaggy. If you're wrong, teague, I'm going to find you, I will find you. Oh geez. I have your mailing address so we'll find you. Anyways, cogey's Cogey's dad brought up something that the stuff that they did in the past doesn't matter.
Speaker 3:Oh, yeah, stuff in the future Okay so I want to touch on that for just a second real quick, because we're going to reach through these. The stuff you did in the past doesn't matter to the stuff that you do in the future, right, because things change, the dynamics change, the wrestlers change, the work ethic of your athlete or whoever doesn't change, then that's impressive, right, I mean it's watching what Cogey does on a daily basis. Damn, yeah, he's putting work in, just like those guys talk about. Right, no doubt he's won you know, rino's, and he's won all these huge accomplishments because he puts the work in.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, not everybody that does that. Does it pay off like that? Right, and especially as you get older, you may have been having that success before, which is great. And if you continue that work ethic and obviously he's going to like I'm not doubting that that kid's all of a sudden he's going to just stop. Yeah, you know he's going to keep going and he's going to get better and better and better and better. But, with that being said, the effects of growth and puberty and everybody grows at a different rate and if you can keep up, awesome. You know, there are the look at the bow bassets and Cogey's willing to keep up with just about anybody out there as well. They're ready to toe the line. It doesn't always calculate that just because you won Rino worlds, you're going to be, you know, a NCAA champion. Oh yeah for sure, State champ Sure, Sure.
Speaker 3:There's, the distance is a little closer, you know. But just because you won so much as a kid doesn't mean you're going to be doing that as someone that grew up. So I mean, I agree and I disagree, but you know, it's one of those things where it's just that. That's how I feel about it. I just think that just because you won, just because Liam took third at super 32, doesn't mean he's going to go out and win it the next year, right? There's other kids that are coming up, that are hard, you know, and again, cogey's putting the work in. There's no doubt that he's going to do things. So, but it's there. There are those kids that are out there and they exist. I mean, 77 and all that speaks volumes. So I get it. But that's just kind of my take on it. So, anyways, hinderman, I owe a grant. We talked about those guys the freshman a little bit before, but I didn't talk about him a lot. We kind of breezed over these guys. I think he's going to do good. Yeah, I think he's going to be.
Speaker 2:He probably second in this way? I think so.
Speaker 3:I'm pretty sure Um Birchman. That's another one, that's Fennimore dude. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Got Tristan coming on tomorrow, but I mean cool, you have guys like that in the room. You're only bringing everybody else up, so I think he's going to be moving up too. Um, is it so Caleb Krause is a Krause or is a Krause? I would say Krause, krause, yeah, cause, I think it might Krause. I think he said Krause as well, but I know people that say Krause, okay, yeah, I'm not sure, so I'm going to leave that one out to the judges yeah, I'm sure Florence.
Speaker 2:So what's that? It's Florence, niagara, right, I mean?
Speaker 3:I heard the Aquinas parents and they would find me before you do.
Speaker 2:So they probably know.
Speaker 3:Probably, yeah, probably. Thank you, aquinas, parents. If, unless you're just yelling at T, good night, watch the show, so it's okay. Um, we appreciate it. Thank you very much, thank you, thank you, thank you 132. Yeah, 132 moving on Um so Dylan Brody, bertie Shaw, that's on the bottom Rowan Kerry. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Um, I'm going to fight for not around this one For sure Rowan's beat him at state both years, I'm sure. Yeah, I'm still fighting for him, second line away, because he's a stealth guy, you know yeah, this is a stealth guy and I'm fighting for that, so can't stop me.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, I can't, but can't stop me, won't stop me, but I'm going. I think a renter is going to go, number one. I think he's going to beat Rowan. Yeah let me.
Speaker 2:Wouldn't be the first time, I don't think, but no but I think it's a state. It would be the first time.
Speaker 3:Uh, respect to Rowan Kerry, I think, kids, he's an animal, he's a Sarbakar kid, you know so uh it's always been a little brother coming up too, I believe he sure does.
Speaker 2:I think he's a middle school. I think I think it's Liam.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yep, they didn't ask if they could use Liam, all right.
Speaker 2:Uh, let's see. Are there Stevens, though. He's good, had a good freshman year 54 last year.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yep, very yep, that's true, very true, yep, I did, we digress to get the mention in here. So, tristan verbatim, cassime, key, yeah, this is accurate. 138. Yeah, 138, d3 everybody. Uh, dawson Johnson, obviously we know. Good Um, mason Carpenter, also good yeah Um, wyatt Unzer, just as good. Elliot Bip, I see like this is another one where it's like oh, I know the top two. I mean I've, I've watched those guys for quite a while. Yeah, they finals last two years, right, um, but even before that, this is a lurky, lurky in the bottom.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay I mean this is pretty accurate. This is good. Yeah, I can take 138 here and that's honestly, it's a, it's kind of an eating crap. Yep, that's really. Did they wrestle? Did him and Colton ever wrestle? I can again. You're going to say, well, yeah, it's, I don't remember, I'm not looking at, I don't know they're they're different weights, uh, but I mean technically, Wiler placed higher than him in 20, 22.
Speaker 2:Okay, At the same weight.
Speaker 3:This is like I said. This is why I need spreadsheets to do stuff.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm probably sure that, based on all of the best knowledge and stuff that I remember from last year.
Speaker 3:Blake carton, that's accurate. Um, I'm not sure that's accurate. Um you know, I might argue for Sturgill. Yeah, oh, which one's that this is bottom of 144. Okay, yeah, I mean you got tight Denny up there yeah. He's hmm, All right, it's. I mean, it's fairly accurate. This is like it would only Sturgill be up like one, one or two spots. Yeah, and that's about it. Okay, 150 D, three, 150. Um, I wish I knew more about siler, but I don't, obviously.
Speaker 2:Third, I saw him at the chief head is where kind of. I mean he was on my like he wouldn't varsity till last year, I believe. Yeah, but he placed it freestyle on Greco in that summer between his freshman and softball and that's when he got on my radar and then I saw him at. She said he was beaten uh, connor Smith, and we got on top and cradle him, so okay, but we are losing in the third period to him. He's pretty good.
Speaker 3:And Moff is another one that I see that, uh, that that's accurate, I would grant.
Speaker 2:D three is going to be hard to do. Team rankings, I'll tell you that, yeah, between a lot of the, I mean obviously, I mean obviously finna more yeah, but the rest yeah, like the two through eight. Yeah, that could be different.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I mean there are a lot of these teams here that have I mean they have some history.
Speaker 2:Again, and I'm going to. I'm going to put myself out here though.
Speaker 3:Independence. Where. What's the town name? Gil, gilmont? Spread this out Gilmont or Gilmonton. What's the C? Huh, what is the C on the end of there? Oh, that's it, nevermind, that's their sectional dirt to dirt. There you go, cause there's two slashes. But I thought maybe you just putting the town in because you've been, you know, messing grades up and stuff too yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Independence Never even heard of it.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Never heard of that school, never heard of even the towns. Oh yeah. Independence Wisconsin.
Speaker 2:Missouri.
Speaker 3:Sorry, colin, I don't mean to not spread the hate on you, I just don't. I've never heard of the towns. Okay, okay, talking about that, I guess there's two in there. Still a similar one. Yeah, apparently某 One Z. Yeah, here's where the narrative ends Pop All like hp is getting too. Telephoto, like just got to basketball, and even the skills 3. Justin, he owns it. Micah Cukda I think Liam wrestled him as well, cukda. Yeah. Is it Cukda?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think so Okay, I was already wrong, so I'll take your word for it. Jackson Bussey, it's another good one. I know of him. Liam's wrestled with him and around him for quite some time, though I've seen the same grade Good wrestler, I think you're top four, accurate Main sprung. Okay, I would move Whitehorse up. I just don't think the record speaks volumes. Yeah. You know what I'm saying. I've seen him wrestle. I think he's got a little more in him than where he's at, but again, my opinion.
Speaker 2:He was up at 70 last year, yeah, so yeah, he's coming down a lot.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's why I think he's definitely put in the work somewhere.
Speaker 2:He's a little long.
Speaker 3:Yeah, all right. Other than that, that's when I'd fight to move. Yeah, the top ones are fine. Top five that looks good. 165, d3. There's not enough for me to go off of to argue any of this to be wrong. Banco has been doing really well.
Speaker 2:I could see Kade Rule.
Speaker 3:Kade Rule, I would put him up at two. Yeah, I would almost argue him to beat.
Speaker 2:Nash yeah, no, that's what I'm saying. I can't see him.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I would argue that, was that a weight change? Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2:Big.
Speaker 3:I was going to say that 32 last year. He should be at number one, I think. Sorry, nash, nash has been working his ass off. Nothing to say about Auburn. Dale's got some good kids. Tubbs, yep, yeah, yeah, that's the only one I'd argue is the Kade Rule. Yeah. I think he's going to do it. Yeah, 113 to 132, all the way up to this. Wow, that kid blew up. He was getting really good at 132 as well. Probably had to get bigger to beat his sister. Yeah, no kidding, right? Yeah?
Speaker 2:His sister was a stud.
Speaker 3:Yeah, she's. I can only imagine she still is. Oh yeah, david Mallen, great grab for the Badgers. Torn VandenBush also good Trust the next time that kid's an animal. That's a good time too. Blaschke yep, you know, I would argue Blaschke. Yeah. Again, I'm just me. Yeah, one spot, though One spot. I just think he's a little, just a little more savvy.
Speaker 2:And he's holding the weight for Correct, correct.
Speaker 3:Owen Morgan. I might argue he's got a lot of matches, you know. I mean he's a senior, he's been. Yeah, that's just because you rest. A lot of matches doesn't mean anything, but he's been. You know what I'm saying. He's been getting a little bit better. I'd move him up a spot, but I'll take it away from Carter. Okay, 190 D3. Tyson Martin owns it. Yeah, that's his spot. Brison Kelly, you know.
Speaker 2:I didn't know what to do.
Speaker 3:That's a mover. I think he's a one spot mover Swap. Yeah, swap, though, is for sure, they got Elijah Sanchez.
Speaker 2:Last year. You know who's that, bryson yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, I get you up. He was. He had a couple injuries last year. Yeah.
Speaker 2:But he's getting better. For sure.
Speaker 3:Elijah Sanchez.
Speaker 2:Like I said, that family's got kids wrestling Same with the last West Bieber or Viper.
Speaker 3:Yeah, bieber, it's Bieber.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that was sheriff Yup, so many of those too.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so I know, I know, is it West Bieber? Yeah. Was it Okay? I want to make sure it wasn't.
Speaker 2:Weston, no West. Bieber, I think you're right.
Speaker 3:But he was um, oh, he's a fun family to be around at wrestling tournaments. Those guys are a blast, Dad's a sheriff and they're all just a fun time to be around.
Speaker 2:This is another very deep weight class too, like I remember it being like same as.
Speaker 3:Carter, yeah, yeah, aiden or Adler strong, that's yeah, these are good wrestlers.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:I would say at least I would say a good 65 to 70% of these kids are going to be tough against each other. If they wind up wrestling each other, yeah, so yeah, this is accurate, it's pretty good. 215. Um, trammack, yup, um, I would. Let's see what we got here. This one's pretty good too. Well, I know.
Speaker 2:I have the, the returning state, run up at fourth. But like he, like he had such a crazy tournament yeah, like he had so few matches, I think, if I'm remembering right but he like came out of nowhere and got second in that bracket and I he, he definitely could be up. Don't don't get me wrong, it was just kind of seemed fluky. I know he has a pretty good decent record too.
Speaker 2:I was going to slap you for that one, but I don't know, it's just something I just apparently I have a bias against somebody too.
Speaker 3:I don't know, you do. Yeah, I, I bias here, so that I mean that's other than that I was going to argue that one, because I think he, you know, obviously took second.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I got the sixth place at that same way. I mean, I understand, it looks stupid.
Speaker 3:Right, I don't do all the numbers you do this is okay, I would maybe. I would maybe move Bader that I say his last name, matthew, I think it's Bader.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah, not Boter, he want CUNY.
Speaker 3:Yeah yeah, no CUNY grow, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's a sectional. I keep looking at that.
Speaker 2:Like I don't know why I'm looking at that. I believe him and his brother are like we're, going back and forth between heavyweight and two 20 last year, because they both yeah, this is a good.
Speaker 3:this is a good set of time. I'm going to couple of arguments here. Couple of arguments Um 285, where people fall asleep oh, you got it. Yeah, they're already fall asleep. Um Evan Gratz, that's pretty accurate. Take care of businesses here, evan. Take care of business Um Ben and Hoffman, canado.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Just happened. Gratz and Hoffman at at. Uh, big cheese, I believe so yeah.
Speaker 3:I watched a couple of matches and um I want at least Stromberg and Hoffman I know Gratz did what he was expecting to do.
Speaker 3:No, he lost Dude Stromberg, oh, stromberg, no, no, no, no, I picked Stromberg, you're right. Yeah, yeah, that's, that's my brain fart. Um, I did pick Stromberg. I think that was in my comments with with the fellows, right? Um, okay, I, magnus Hilgers, you know, I think maybe I would argue to go up one more spot. Um, but oh yeah, I mean State qualifier up there. This is a. There's definitely been tougher weights yeah, yeah, but I mean, evan owns the number one. Oh, yeah, oh, okay, um yeah.
Speaker 3:Like I said, that's really the only one. I think that I would argue on that one so well, I mean, I think overall you did all right, you know? Yeah, thanks, I might have my arguments. Right, yeah, I have my arguments. My little things that I want to say, but I think it was good, I think you did a good job. Hold on, yeah, hold on, um so folks we wrapped up on.
Speaker 3:I'm going to see if I can find a screen here that just highlights just the two of us. I thought I set one up. Nope, sure Didn't there. What if I, uh, let's just remove this one. There we go. Okay, so we just have us two here. So, um, I mean honestly, where are you as far as the team team rankings? I mean, do you have a team ranking? I mean, do you do a preseason one with them? Do you like just put numbers together from the past season and obviously not go off of and then you know what the kids are? Now, right, you know the kids. You kind of know the lineups already. Are you able to do it? Base a team one off of that?
Speaker 2:Uh, I have started, but it's. It's kind of hard Like cause. I don't know that. That's their weights for sure, and you know there's something I guarantee I haven't heard of, yet.
Speaker 3:Believe that the Tegan Steve.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, they, they're all over that stuff, yeah.
Speaker 3:Well, like I mean God this is the information. Oh yeah, the amount of information. Um, I'm going to go over real quick. Uh, we're going to do, I'm going to show the people to give away Number one. Don't forget about this one. Okay, there's already a post out on it. Post out for it, if you like, I think, and uh, tag three friends, tag three friends, but you have to comment, like, comment and share.
Speaker 3:Yeah, take three friends in it. Yeah, and then the tag giveaway ends on Monday. That's pretty sweet. It's a nice little hat. Yeah, no one's touched, no one's worn it. That's it. So there's no grease on it. There's no, I didn't put it on my head. This is this. The giveaway for this ends on Monday. Yeah, now we have an awesome dude that brought over something. We got one of these to give away. This would be coming up. Usa wrestling shirt. I mean, it's a USA wrestling shirt, right? Oh, it's a good boy yeah.
Speaker 3:I mean, I don't know if you've ever, but this is the the coup de gras. Dude the coup de gras right here. So this is this is signed by. That's Sarah Hildebrand, if you can see the name. So we have a friend here that is friends with Miss Hildebrand, and signed signature of Sarah Hildebrand will be going up for auction, not auction for giveaway. Yeah, coming soon, so pay attention, because it's coming Singlet too, yeah, that is a pretty sweet thing, yeah, like he does all right.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they do All right, yeah, nice thing, so that this, this will be going up for for giveaway guys. That's Hildebrand signed singlet. Maybe I'll put a little frame, you know, put it in a frame for someone, maybe add a little value to it for you. But well, dude, we've been going for what? Two hours and 15 minutes, yeah, and we've got a lot of rankings.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know. So I wanted to make sure that we kind of touched on them, pay attention to them and and comment on them. I think a lot of these guys will do well. I think we're going to have a great season of wrestling, and it's only gotten better, right? I mean all these kids that are now working in the off season, and any props to the kids that are in football too. I mean those guys just do football, baseball. They're all still putting work in there, working in the off season, doing something. Obviously, we all know it's not wrestling shape, though, so hopefully you guys are working hard and getting things done in the wrestling room.
Speaker 3:So I'm going to get you out of here, so we're going to kind of slow roll into into some music. Let me see if we got. We got Peter Taft alone. We got some people to read here. Oh yeah, yeah. Comment Mike Hart, great job. Thanks again. Thank you, mike, much appreciated, great job. Really enjoyed the show. Thank you for all your work. Appreciate you, guys. Thank you very much. Thank you for checking this out. And then let's see, we got. That's sick. Go to the hotel. I'll check this out after. Okay, yep, appreciate it. Yep, listen to it. It'll be up on Facebook forever.
Speaker 3:Eventually, I'm going to wind up taking the stuff off of social media, but I'll head on over there and have a look at what you did with thegentle council. Actually, I'm in the upper left side of this and I have there. I have a coach. Here she is. I have short, short ofSE agenda that we're going to screen her out. So the I'm cutting the part Going to work out we're going to get ready of emotion, right, but it's a good mix. We could talk about things that we like, talk about things that we don't think are going to happen, but I think everybody's going to have a great season. I think we have some really good things coming up. I have I'm going to shout out the 920 Hat Company. They did this hat. They also did the hat that we're giving away, that's weird.
Speaker 2:Did they do the hats that you gave the coaches to?
Speaker 3:Yes, they did the hats. Yeah, I gave all the Is that?
Speaker 2:like waterproof or what is that. That's like awesome material. I don't know what it's called, okay, but it's awesome.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so I got all the Kikana coaches that got those guys hats.
Speaker 2:Check those hats out.
Speaker 3:That was cool yeah 920 Hat Company does a fantastic job. You send them a picture of whatever you want for whatever you want on a leather patch. They put it on Richardson hats. They got Flex Fit, everything. Another sponsor is Appleton Tattoo, jason Winans. He's also the guy who made the theme song. We appreciate everything that he did. Let's see if we got anybody else up here. Nope, nope. Appleton Tattoo is in Appleton. They're right off of College Avenue. Get in touch with those guys. They do a great job. They put the Celtic Cross on my back Bar none, probably the most, I guess, relaxed experience I've had. I've passed out getting tattoos. I've never got one. I'm not a needles guy. I'll break your bones. I don't want to look at them afterwards. There you go.
Speaker 2:They have never got one.
Speaker 3:But Jason and those guys do awesome work. Contact those guys again. Questions and concerns about rankings. This is the guy you reach out to. It's Tim over there. I'm going to start diving into the national rankings world. I want to get the numbers right first. I'm not just going to start putting garbage out. I don't want to guess. It's going to be fun. I want to do some math. I want to figure out what. See if I have some hootspa with it. It's fun. Yeah.
Speaker 3:We're going to start rolling here. You guys take it easy. We appreciate everybody out there. Thank you for coming. I appreciate that too. I hope you guys enjoyed every part of it, and we appreciate everybody that watched and said thank you, thank you. So we're going to go over here. You have anything you're going to be doing anytime soon?
Speaker 2:No, not really. I mean I'll be updating the rankings here once we get the first competitions in and putting all those results right there on the rankings.
Speaker 3:Just don't stop being biased. Oh yeah, don't keep being that Cacona favorite guy, yeah.
Speaker 2:Well, you know, I try.
Speaker 3:All right, folks, we got a lot coming up. I know we've been talking to Aaron Golston. We got Tristan Steltt coming up tomorrow. That's going to be a great episode. I've been waiting to get this guy on, and then I've been talking to quite a few other world team members, so I'll pay attention. We've got some stuff coming up, but we are out. Thank you.
