Michele Walthert grew up in Switzerland. When her father suggested she "broaden her horizons" and go to college in the US, she moved to the States, got a crash course in the language from daytime talk shows, and ultimately graduated with a full time job lined up right before 9/11. Suddenly her path changed - as it did for so many - and she found herself as a receptionist in a financial firm learning the industry. She transitioned to client services then decided to pursue a career as a financial advisor. Now decades later, having become one of the country's top advisors (recently recognized by Forbes in 2023 as a Best in State Female Advisor) she stepped into her new role - as the Head of Advisor Success at Wealthspire Advisors.
