Growing up as a mixed-race kid with an Irish mother and a Mexican father, Gabriel Garcia never felt like he truly belonged. He wasn’t “Mexican enough” for some, and definitely not “white enough” for others. That rejection led him down a path he knew better than to take — trying to fit in by running with the wrong crowd, chasing acceptance where he could find it.

Raised in a good household by his mom and His Adoptive Father ( His biological father wasn’t around til he was older ) , Gabriel struggled with his identity, battled anger, and carried emotional scars that followed him into adulthood. But everything began to change when he found healing through listening to podcast, podcasting , Jiu-Jitsu — and later, in trying to become a better man, husband, and father.

This is a story about culture, pain, growth, and redemption.  #indeliblymarked #testimony #story #mexican #white
