Faith That Moves Mountains: Abraham’s Example

Romans 4:16-22 highlights the power of unwavering faith in God’s promises. Abraham, despite impossible circumstances—his old age and Sarah’s barren womb—believed God’s word that he would become the father of many nations. His faith glorified God, as he trusted in the One who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not yet exist. Abraham didn’t waver, doubt, or hesitate; instead, he was fully convinced that God would fulfill His promise. This faith was accounted to him as righteousness. The passage reminds us that everything we receive from God is through faith. It challenges us to put God’s promises above our circumstances, to live as examples of faith for the world to see, and to trust in the same God who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and fulfilled His word to Abraham. Faith glorifies God and unlocks His supernatural power in our lives.
