Romans 12:16-21 calls believers to a countercultural way of life: humility, peace, and goodness in the face of evil. Instead of seeking revenge, we trust God’s justice and respond to hostility with kindness—feeding the hungry enemy and offering a drink to the thirsty. This radical love and grace, modeled by Jesus, convict and transform hearts, showing the world a better way. By refusing to be overcome by evil and choosing to overcome evil with good, we reflect the light and fruit of Christ, standing apart from the ways of the world.
