You Booked the Trip. Did You Ask the King?

You map out your year—the city, the profit, the plan—yet you never stop to ask what God wants, as if tomorrow is promised and you're the one holding it (James 4:13-14). But James calls that arrogance evil, because your life is a vapor that shows up for a moment and vanishes; ninety years here is nothing next to the eternity you were made for, so every decision should bow to His will—"If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." Stop hoarding, stop stalling, stop letting your faith sit idle until it corrodes like unused metal (James 5:1-3)—because knowing the good you ought to do and refusing to do it isn't neutral, it's sin.
