Yo yo. Yo yo. What up my hamburger folk? Hey, what up Finn? Hey, my goat. My little goat. Hey, it's Tyler. Tyler Sanchez is in the house on the po. What's up, dude? He's our guest speaker today. Tyler, tell him one cool thing about yourself real quick. I really like cheeseburgers. Hey, hey. My go will go. Hey, we got a cool episode planned. Tyler. Tyler's gonna chime in, uh, when he gets the chance to, but yeah. Tyler's our guest speaker and he's chilling. Um, but we're glad to have him. We're glad to see him. Love the energy, love the opener of, I mean yeah, of course. He did not leave. We, we even passed to him because he's just got so much energy. Yeah. Right. Man. Tyler, we, we love you Tyler. Right. Tyler. Tyler, we love you. Tyler's a go. Tyler. Tyler's a goat. Tyler, he's good. He's just studying right now, so he's getting ready for his question later. But yeah, he's good right now. Yeah. Tyler started us off. All right. Anyways. How's everybody doing? Oh, phenomenal bro. I'm so good. So good. What have we been up to? Um, you know, end of the last episode we talked about my course. I've just been working on that. Your what? We remember, we talked about our course. My course, his masterclass is making, yeah. My master people are subscribing. Um, and it's my mom and my dad. Yeah. You know, you know a better way. And that's the title. Wow. Wow. Wait, that sounds serious. Link in the description way. No, I was thinking about this, how funny it would be to like point people to a course that doesn't exist. Like Okay. A false link. If you click on our link, link tree and then at the bottom you should see link. And if you don't, your phone is hacked. Immediately a virus probably. Yeah, you have a virus. If you don't see the link, you can't get past your firewall ever, bro. Good luck. Yeah, good luck. Giselle, what about you? Um, I've been in Mexico for like the past two weeks, so this is true. My first Tuesday back. And I just missed home for real. And I'm gonna say it. I, she did, was coincidentally gone the two weeks that I spoke. Dude, he was so pressed about that I, I planned that he, like, he kept talking about it like when you were gone he was like, oh my gosh, this is, this. I took me while not staying up on stage'cause I really wanted to, but I, I held back so I canceled my plans like to just not be here. We had this plan in January, so. That's when I planned my trade throw. Right. I explain it January one. My bad. Yeah. I'm glad I'm planned that. I, uh, I, I'm kind of, I, I think I need to let the podcast know. I'm sick of talking about it at this point, but I, I spoke at the. The district of the national address was wild. The district event, um, that was wild. For AP PS, uh, that's our school district, Albuquerque Public Schools. And, uh, they had asked me to host a ess they called it a fireside chat. Essentially it was a q and a with the superintendent and the president of the a PS board. I mean, what, I don't know how, I don't know who gave me that gig. I don't know Jesus. But, uh, it, it had to have been, it had to have been. So that was a while ago. I get there and I'm like. First of all, I don't know where to go. I'm like, I just know I'm supposed to be there. I don't know where to go. I just bro's literally texting us like, while that's happening, he's like, I have no idea what I, I don't know what I'm doing. And bro's all just texting. I'm like, sending the link. I'm like, YI need to watch. I need to watch. I don't know. I'm There's the live stream, bro. And it was so funny about the live stream. It was literally this bottom left corner of the screen. So more pixels with the worst Mike you've ever heard. Yeah. Literal. He's like, like you could not hear it. You cannot tell me that I'm not a good friend.'cause I was watching that live stream. While I was at the beach. For real? Yeah. For real. Yeah. I was like, I'm, I was literally waiting until Giselle texted like, oh, he's on. Yeah. Literally I don't, uh, bro, I, I was back, I finally found my way backstage'cause the director was looking for me and I just, I had a feeling it was me about, well it was just so funny'cause he was like, I'm almost on and then I'm watching the livestream for like probably 30 minutes, bro. Does not go on. Yeah. That bro was yapping, bro. That one bald guy before you was freaking going at going to town and he and he's listening. Yeah. And I hope he is. Because we want you on, we do. We need you on, we want you on, like we had Tyler on. But yeah, the whole point of the event was to like address new, I guess a PS standards. I don't, I couldn't, I don't know. And so, um, it was like to address the upcoming whatever. And so my point was just to like bring a, I don't know, personable aspect. I don't know. I still don't know, but I went up there and, uh, oh my gosh, yo, that was my type five. I, that was my com. That was my, that was my comedy segment. Dude. Are you kidding me bro? Was there was like, I, I, I loved it. Had to fun. Did light, light up the room a little bit. They were like, they were, it was s news fest. Y'all gotta imagine this, this room. And they think about it. They expanded the live stream to the whole screen when you And I love that. Yes. They were like, wait, this is good. And I love that they could have done this the whole time. Yeah. Literally. Yeah. They just didn't wanna, there was like no slides for half the speeches either. And then, yeah, I, uh, imagine this, this room is. Uh, I don't know how to, what size to compare it to, but it's pretty big. It holds maybe like what, 400? 300, 400? Like a gym? Kind of, yeah, a little bit bigger than a school gym. And it is just pasty white. I mean like pasty, pasty, pasty white. Like it's just white. It's the back room. I know. And so like we've had, I walked in, in, there was like jazz playing, so everyone's already like zen and calm and then. I go there, I'm like, what up? And every of these principles that I've never met before in my, like these big name a PS, people are like, oh my gosh. Wait, didn't they ask you if you had a podcast? Yes. So then I do the, I do the event. It was a blast. I had a fun, thank you, uh, superintendent and Blakey and President Frill. Um, that was so much fun. But then I get off and all these people would start asking me like. Do you have a pod? What's up? Where can, where can I do hear you? I don't know. That's why I, I'm, I'm pretty sure I know I'm gonna, but yeah. And so, um, if you are from the district that day and you are listening, hello. Welcome. Well, I'm glad to see you. I'm glad you're here. This is a beautiful man. You let on. Yeah. And, uh, but yeah, so they were asking me to have a pod, other speakers. Yeah. And I was like. Yeah, I do a pod. I do, so I do a podcast with my best friends. It's BC pod. Um, you guys should listen here. Do you need, like, I gave them everything they needed. They were like subscribing in front of me and like, listen, like, oh, that's sick. Oh, it was so sick. So, um, once again, if you're listening from that day, welcome, welcome to the BC pod. I dunno if this is what you expected home for. Didn't get an email afterwards too. Oh yeah. So they gave me, uh, the business card. So shout out Boys and Girls Club. They're, uh, uh, like an organization here in New Mexico, uh, or in Albuquerque. They're doing really awesome things. And so they, uh, gave me their business card and asked me to come and kind of speak with them and like just talk to them about podcasting and public speaking and stuff, which is absolutely insanity. And so, uh, from our BC podcast to another, what's up? Like we will, you know, we love it because they also also Wait boys and girls? Wait, it's not BC. I know, right? Almost. I thought it was, I thought you meant like their path was also BC P Oh, wow. I should, that would've been cool. It would've, but yeah, so they're uh, really cool. They're very cool people. And so, um, I, I lo I was so excited. I was so happy because it's like, that's connections, bro. That's connections in Albuquerque. That's sick. Dude. Uniting once again, Albuquerque. I'm, oh, it's so hype. It's so hype. So it's a Be Boys and Girls Club if you're listening. We love you. We love you. They ask for our podcast link and I send it to them. Of course. And so, uh, but it's been a real, it's been a very cool week, I will say. It's been a very awesome week. And so. Um, really awesome stuff. Been hanging out with friends also. Not really though I've been at school or doing other things, so I can't really even lie. Yeah. Other things. Uh, and they're mad at me for it. Yes. And speak on it. You've had like three plans and No, you haven't, you've had two. One more. Okay. Yeah, that's a big day, bro. Wait, what were plans, bro? Was Adam. Yeah, bro. Was at everything. Oh yeah. We went to New Soul. Yeah. Which was, we went to a church and then we went to go play volleyball and he didn't go together. Okay. He didn't go to volleyball. He had a good reason. What was your reason? It was my one year anniversary with you. We were celebrating with us and that's why we there me, we were celebrating and we were at dinner together. And you were in your kids little skirt. Yeah. And she's still mad about it, so Yeah. Yeah. She still can't get over the fact that he didn't wanna miss it, but I could. I know. Yeah. So whatever. I'll be at the next one. Okay, fine. Okay, fine. We're gonna a soccer game tomorrow. Can you come? Oh yeah. What time? It's at night. Are we, are you here tomorrow night? That's it's 7:00 AM Um, what are you working tomorrow night? No, I can be there. Oh, let's go. Christian's gonna be so happy. We have a soccer game tomorrow and we're gonna cheer and be loud. Yes. So y'all get ready. Christian is our other goat. He plays really in relation to Tyler, actually. Yeah. Wait, Christian, you're also in the pot zone, like Christian's here too. Wait, where's he at? Wait, where you at? T Twin. Alright. Anyways, we, uh, might as well get into this episode, but, um, what should we, uh, this week we were talking a little more practical this week and we were talking about prayer life. We're talking about prayer life, and now I don't want that to scare you off if you aren't a Christian or you haven't been to church yet. First episode, you're tuning into. I don't want the word prayer to scare you off. I still think that there's a lot you can learn from this episode. Um, and also just good experiences that we all have with prayer. And so, um, if you have no idea what prayer is or you're not even sure what the deal is, this episode's gonna explain that and get onto that. And so if you are maybe a little turned off by the word prayer, I want you to tune back in because it's gonna be awesome and really great. And also being a Christian does not mean that like. What am I trying to say? I'm saying that like if you, uh, that this word prayer does not only apply to Christians, it applies to you as well. So listen up, listen. Good. I don't have the first question, like usual. It's gili, gili, gili with the zel, the with the belly, and the melody with the deli and the, with the, the, with the deli a thateveryone. But anyways, our first point for today is how should prayer look like, or how does it look like? Mm-hmm. And when I was thinking about this question, I was trying to reflect back on me and I feel like prayer doesn't really like look a certain way. Um, a lot of people like have this like idea that prayer should be like this, like crazy big long prayer and that it should have like these like big Christianese words and that it should be like, sound, like super, like profound and like super sophisticated. But when I think about prayer, I just think about like. Constant communication with God. Mm-hmm. With my father. And I just like, when I think about it, it's literally just genuine. I'm just talking to God. I'm just like speaking to God. I'm telling him about how I'm feeling, about how my day's going, about what I'm worried about, what I'm thankful for, but it's just literally prayer for me is just keeping in communication with God. Mm-hmm. And I just feel like it doesn't have to be like super crazy profound or anything like that. Like a lot of people, it scares people away when they're just like, oh, I just feel like I have nothing to pray about. I have nothing to say. Mm-hmm. Or like my prayers won't like reach God because I have nothing like profound to say. Yeah. But it's literally like it's, you're just in communication with God. Like God wants to hear about you, like God wants to hear from you. Yeah. And it's just like, it just doesn't have to be like super crazy. It doesn't have to be like. You know, you have, you need to have something to say, but it's just like, you're just communicating. And I feel like that's a huge thing. Yeah. Yeah. I think like, dude, like there's always that pressure or there's, there's been that pressure where it's like, I have to pray this prayer. Oh, holy father up above. And it's like, send your son down. Yeah. Send your son down and make me better. Like, like it doesn't need to be like to be British. Yeah. It has to be like that. No, it doesn't need to be like that. And I remember, um. I remember early on when I was praying, I got the advice of like literally just tell God about your day. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Like literally just like, God, my day was this and this, and I kind of felt like this, and this is how what, this is what I'm thinking. And I know that sounds very basic, but it's talking to God. Yeah, it is. It is. Time spent, it is prayer. And so when that's your like that, it builds almost that prayer muscle. Mm-hmm. To where it's like, I'm growing and I'm getting better at this. And that's like your number one. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. I also say too that like I, well when I started learning how to pray, especially in like kids church, kids ministry, but also just from like my family members, it was always taught to me to, before you pray, always thank God for something. Yes, always thank God for something. And how like if you're constantly, or like if the only thing you ask for or the only thing you're praying for is something for yourself. Yeah. Uh, against somebody else. Mm-hmm. That has no substance to it because you're not thanking God for what he's already given you. Yeah, absolutely. And in a way it creates some sort of like tendency of greed and pride if all you are asking for is for yourself, but you're not acknowledging what God's already done for you. And so I open up every single prayer with a thank you for whatever this is, or like mm-hmm. When we pray on Tuesdays, we say, thank you for the night. Thank you for the community. Mm-hmm. Thank you. For us to be in one room where we get to lift up your name, it always starts with a thank you because I don't ever wanna ask God something. Uh, of, I don't wanna ever ask, uh, yeah. Something of God without already thanking him for what he's already done. Yeah. Because it's abundant and it's plentiful. And I think that goes back to the conversation of, if you think there's nothing that God's done for you, take a look around. And if you're walking and breathing Yeah. He sure has done a lot. Grateful for sure. You know what I mean? And that's just how I was lot, like that's how I was taught to pray and how I learned to pray. Mm-hmm. And it's always just, it's worked wonders for me because it humbles your heart before you start asking God for things. Yeah. Or start praying with him or talking to him about your day. It just immediately humbles your heart. And a humble heart, I feel like. Is easier and more receptive than a prideful one. So yeah, it just becomes so like consistent too, like Noah was saying, like literally once you start praying about the little things or like any basic things, anything that's daily, you literally just, that's your number one thing that you go to. Mm-hmm. Like I, I feel like I never think to myself anymore. I feel like I'm always praying and it just like. Like, instead of being like, oh, what should I do today? Like, God, what should I do today? Right. Literally let's a good habit. Literally. It's just like a crazy thing where it's just like, I always wanna be talking to God, like why should I keep my thoughts to myself? Like God wants to know. Mm-hmm. God wants to hear and it's just like, it just becomes so easy to pray. Like it's just not like a thing where it's just like you have to go like in your, like in that secret place and you have to do all this like that is beautiful too. Go to prayer closet. Yeah. Yeah. That is beautiful too. I do encourage that, but it's like. It doesn't have to be like this profound thing every single time. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Like it's just like a, such a constant thing, the way that you text your friends about for absolutely no reason. It's the same way that you can talk to God. Yeah. Yeah. Like it's the, the same thing. He's your friend, you're in friendship with God. Mm-hmm. So, yeah, I think to add that, like I've had some of the Brett best prayers and prayer moments, like in my car. Yeah. Like just in the car being like, God, this is what I'm thinking. Or like if I'm feeling a certain way about something, I'm like, God, I'm feeling this way about this situation. How do you want me to feel and how should I respond? And it's just like they're in these moments, like we said, like it's in the car, it's, it's somewhere where you have just, like you said, there's always an open moment. There's always that open moment too. Like, I'm alone right now. Let me pray. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Have you had that moment when you're like praying and it's just like, whatever, like, oh, I'm just feeling like. Like, I'm hungry or whatever. Mm-hmm. Like you're just saying whatever. And then it just keeps going deeper and deeper. Deeper and deeper. It never stops. That's so crazy. Wait, I like, I started off just like talking to God about my day and now I'm, I'm like praying over like people that I haven't even seen here. I like Wow. I just love that it's just like, opens everything and it's just like, you just have to give God that like one little moment and he's just like, there it's said, do the rest with it. Yeah. Gotcha. That's a good point too. Giving God just one moment. Like adding to the point, prayer doesn't have to do a significant thing. Sometimes prayers are short and sometimes prayers are long. Yeah. But that doesn't change like the power in them and the purpose in them. The Yeah, totally. It is still prayer. It doesn't matter. You know what that is. So like our second question is what is the significance in prayer and, uh. We, uh, or I'm just gonna read a scripture real quick. It's Proverbs 1821. A lot of people I notice too, will say this verse, but they have no idea what it really means because they use it in a way that is like, someone use it against me, so now I'm gonna use that against them. Boom. Gotcha. You know what I mean? But it's, the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. So the whole point of prayer now, the Bible talks about how powerful prayer is, but right there it's talking about just how powerful your words are. Yeah. And yet words that, that same idea is. Transferring into your prayer as well, and the words you're speaking, transferring into your prayer. But it also says that your words have death to them and they can get bring on death, and they can be hurtful and rude and mean. And that same idea is in your prayer. If your prayer is only acknowledging you know, the work that somebody hasn't done, or if your prayer is always acknowledging. What you want to happen to somebody like that is never a thoughtful or fruitful player prayer because you're praying against something and you're using your words in a way that is not what the Bible has said. Yeah. And so this idea, like this power and prayer, I think like even tonight, even tonight, I feel so sick. I told you I was gonna tell everybody this and I'm on, I'm on the right track to do that. Jayden. I feel really sick today. Okay. That's our producer, Jayden. Jayden, I feel sick, whatever. And um. It, it's been, it's been tough to like even talk, but before, every time I go up on stage, I always pray to God, it, maybe it's in the middle of a worship song, whatever. And I say, dear Jesus, whatever I'm feeling right now, shake it off of me and let me just get this word at Gar. Can, lemme get your word across. Let me move this moment. And I was, I was in the bathroom, but I was tweaking out. I was like, yo, I have to, I gotta go back up. That's, I'm, I can't even sit still. I can't do nothing with that. And I was just like, God, please keep my body, still keep my mind sound. God, take this, shake it off of me in Jesus' name, whatever. And I walk outta the bathroom and I'm listening to Lauren talk. And when I get sick, I'm like, fi. I'm like, I'm rocking in my chair, I'm kicking my feet. I'm like, I can't sit still. I cannot sit still. I was still as a rock. I sit there like this. Posture straighter than it's ever been. Just him sitting straighter. Exactly. References, posture, and finally a prayer fix my posture. Oh my gosh. Finally. And uh, and then when I got up on stage, I didn't feel a thing. And that it's, so, it's moments like that where in that moment when I was asking God in a, like a faithful moment where I believed 110%, that God was gonna do something in that moment, and he did that boost my faith up completely. Mm-hmm. But I didn't do it so that, you know. I could feel her great and just look awesome on stage. I did it so I could bring the most amount of glory to God in that moment. And I did it so that I would communicate effectively and get people their word across effectively. And so that's kind of the significance in prayer and that the power in prayer, and especially in power in prayer with other people, that is something that should not go overlooked. And especially when there's, there's something special about a group of people praying over the same exact thing. Yeah. Like that's something we do a lot as a church, as a youth group. But it's something you should do as just friends and as people in your each other's lives, like you should be praying. For the same goals and for the same things and for the same people. Like there is so much power in praying for the exact same thing. Yeah. That's why we do it every single Sunday. Yeah. You know what I mean? For sure. Anybody else got anything? Did I just clear it or what's off? Josh? You said it. Yeah, it's over. What was the question? Can you remind me? It's like what is significant about prayer? I think you clearly, I think, I think I, I think it's clear that's the first time that happened. I, I literally, IRO always has something to say. Yeah, I know. I always has him to say, you left his speech questions. Yeah, you did. That's right. But yeah, keep that just Monday. Keep your mind on that, that power date on Monday. Exactly. Keep that power in prayer and that your words do matter and that the power of the tongue is. One of the most powerful. So keep your words out and keep your mouth clean, because if you're praying with a hateful tongue, then your prayers are gonna be hateful and have no fruit to them. So that's right. Mm-hmm. Be significant in your prayer. Mm-hmm. But yeah, question three, that's Noah, I, boy, I'm wrapping this up today. Boy. Okay, so the question three, it is, how do faith and prayer go hand in hand? And I think when I think about this question, I think about, okay, so this has to do with the ask, right? Mm-hmm. Obviously we talked about prayer where it's like, I'm just talking to God about my day, and that turns into the ask, or this has to do with the ask. And uh, when I was thinking about like that, I guess like my thought with this and the kind of thought God gave me, I remember a while back about it was. There has to be a belief that like my prayer is doing something. Yeah. Yeah. And I remember, um, it makes me think of Romans 10, like when Paul's like, my prayer and my heart's desire is that Israel be saved. Mm-hmm. And so there's like this separation he puts and I think there, there can also be a separation where that's different. Mm-hmm. Where you're like, what you're praying for isn't exactly what your heart wants and that's gonna make it sound Yeah. Like I've prayed, say prayers. That sounds stupid to me, right? Like mm-hmm. I've said, I remember I said a prayer one. I was like, God, elevate me. I was like, what? To where? I was like, to what? I was like, why did I even say that? But like, literally I was like, that sounded stupid to me. I was like, that was just talking cringe. Yeah. Literally cringe and like, I was like, yeah, I was just. So there, the, the heart desire behind that prayer wasn't there, and there was no faith that God was gonna do something. It was just me saying words. Yeah. And so I think with your prayer there just, there has to be a belief, Hey, God is one hearing this and he's going to do something with it. And so I think as a believer, your prayer should always be your first reaction. Yeah. Yeah. If something happens in your life prayer and something goes on, like there should be, like, there shouldn't be like a thought of like, oh, I need, I need to talk to. Um, I need to talk to my dad. I mean, you're heavenly dad for real. Yeah. Yeah. Am I right? Am I right? Somebody? Way at, way at is on. But um, yeah, there shouldn't be a thought of like, oh my gosh, I need to talk to my best friend. Mm-hmm. Like, right. What are they like besides being like, dang bro. Like, what are they gonna do for your situation? Like, versus why don't you talk, like, your first reaction would be, oh, I can talk to God, who knows? Everything about everything. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I think too, that's like, uh, I guess the, I feel like just need to say this, but like the clear, some confusion too of like, there is no separation between you and God. Mm-hmm. And that there is nobody else you have to go through to talk to God. And so in those moments when we keep saying, like, pray about him and everything, be Let him be your first response. Let Him be your first person you're going to, or pray little, pray large, pray small play, whatever that means. That is a direct conversation between you and God. Mm-hmm. And that has to go nowhere else. Which is why it's so significant, which is why faith and prayer go hand in hand, that you're having a complete and total faith and understanding mm-hmm. That your prayers are getting through to God because they are. Yeah. And, um, I, I just think it's important to know that and say that because you never have to worry about where your prayers are going. Absolutely. You never have to worry about. Is my prayer getting lost in translation? Mm-hmm. No, it's going directly to God. Mm-hmm. You don't have to worry about who's hearing it, it's just between you and God. Mm-hmm. And, and he, I promise you, he ain't telling no angel. Oh, for sure. He's not telling no angel about your Saturday night. I promise. And I always think about that one scripture where it's like, um, it talks about like that story of the guy who just kept knocking Yes. Kept knocking. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. And so it makes me think about that.'cause it's like he had the faith to keep knocking. Yes. Because he knew eventually there's gonna be an answer. Yeah. And so you have to approach. I guess prayer. If you're, like I said, if you're in the ask for something. Mm-hmm. Like if you truly believe God will deliver on that, you will keep asking. Yeah. You will keep knocking. Yeah. Yeah. There will keep a, Hey, God's gonna answer. I'm believing. Yeah. God is going to answer. Yeah. Yeah. That reminds too of, um. The woman who was persistent at the courthouse when mm-hmm. She had all these debts and she kept showing up every single day. Yeah. Every single day. Every single, yeah. Every chance she got. And eventually her debts were just waived. Yeah. And like she was just moved on. But it was the consistency and the persistency that she had. Yeah. And that belief to continue. Yeah. That knew, knew something was going to change, but just keep going and keep trying. Yeah. Same thing with prayer and. The idea that you're, you pray once and it doesn't happen, should not wreck your faith, should not shipwreck your faith. You know what I mean? What's no? Yeah. And so I, it's like that having that consistency and that faith that something is gonna change something is gonna happen. What's funny, I like that stuff. You like acidity? What did I say? He said ity, Jayden. Cut it. Excuse. Wait, where you starting? Jay didn't cut the cameras. I'm just kidding. He like, he like yells at us behind cameras. I'm like, he's like, yo, what is going on? How dare you make fun of me. Yeah. Cut that. I am the host. But yeah, having just that, that constant principle that I'm going to pray all the time, whether or not I receive something is the best discipline of faith that you can have. And that's when they both go hand in hand. Giselle, do you have anything on that? I don't feel like you do. No. I'm just like, la la la, la. I'm like, oh, this is so great. I'm like, literally just watching back. I'm like, this is good. This is so awesome. This is a great, this is a great episode. This is, this is awesome. I know. I, and, uh, literal, you're like, this episode will be so good for us. We're gonna get so much caught from this. Cut. Yo. What, why would you say that? How dare you say that? I'm the host, but yeah. Um, and one thing in Pastor Marshall's message, uh, on Sunday, which, oh my gosh, I was. Insane. I, I don't I, whatever. And, um, it was insane. And one thing he said too of like, uh, he said, you don't need to be going around giving hell because Jesus, God created enough of it. You know what I mean? And for that, for me, I was like, yo, I need to stop being a hater brown. God, stop being, I have gotten to stop born being a hater. I have born to hate, born to hate, forced to love. I'm just kidding. I just always hate it. Whatever. Forced. But, um, forced to love. But, um, that idea too of like. The judging somebody else's prayer life. And I think too, prayer life is not gonna look the same for every single person. Yeah, totally. Totally. A hundred percent. And how prayer life, yes, it's always between that person and God, but the way that they're doing it might not align with yours. Mm-hmm. And that doesn't mean their prayer is less significant than yours. Yeah. If they're praying directly to God, just like you are, it's getting across the exact same way. It's not getting lost, it's not moving its way out. It's the exact same way. Mm-hmm. And, um. To encourage somebody to be better at praying, but it just looks different than yours is a very, uh, useless idea. A hundred percent. And so it's not your job to try and fix somebody's prayer life, especially when yours is too weak to even control on your own. So, yeah. And you're hat on. You're hating other people's prayer life. Yeah. What does that say about yours? Yeah, and when I say I'm a hater, I'm not hating on people's prayer life. I just be hating. Sometimes I just be everything in the chat. Like we have a youth chat and we were talking about drinks tonight. Immediately hating second response is me. No, no, no. Immediately. No. Immediately not. And our next episode's about hate. So, so he's, and I'm not gonna be in that. Tyler's gonna be in there, right? Tyler? Right. Right, right. No, but um, I always, I also think too, there's a faith side to believing in the truth of what prayer is doing for you. Yeah. Like there's a faith side in believing, you know, God says prayer is also good for me. Mm-hmm. Like, especially, um, there's that scripture where it says that, pray for your enemies. Yeah. And that heals your heart. Yeah. And that's good for your faith. Mm-hmm. Um, like you have to believe that too. Yeah. Because like, nothing makes me feel like, man, like God has been so good to me when I pray over somebody who I literally don't feel like praying over. Right. Or it's like, maybe it's like a, like, kinda like you said a thought in a moment where it's like, it's been one of those moments where I would, I wouldn't consider anybody my enemy, but like somebody who has made me angry. Somebody where you're always not on the best of terms. Mm-hmm. And it's just like, I'm praying for that person in this moment and it's, there's a belief. Two. That one, yes. Like it's gonna heal that person, but also it's doing something for my faith. Absolutely. And it's certainly my belief in God. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I, I think. Especially, uh, what was I gonna say? It was about to be really influential. Dang. Isn't that was it though? If you can't remember. Was it Yo, don't say that's all y'all. He's like, don't say just pray. Don't say, just pray. I mean, I'll tell you what, man, he's had some bangers on this episode. Um, but that's lowkey all we got for prayer. Like that was great. We kind of cleared that. I'm not gonna lie. Did you really forget? I, uh, it was something so good. It was about Tyler. I'm just kidding. No one, did it have something to do with like, prayer maybe? No, it had something to do with hate. Okay. I'm just kidding. No, I hate, maybe if I remember it in this outro, but we'll see. But, um, one more time. I, I, I was just think, I wanna reiterate the point that if you, uh, have not stepped in a church, if this is the only. Kind of faith podcast you're listening to or whatever, that this still applies to 110%. Absolutely. And it's never too late to start praying. It's never too early to start praying. Yeah, there is no prayer. Too small nor too big. Your prayer still matters enough to God. So start praying. Start praying, and don't just be praying in your times of need. Be praying in your times of. Happiness and good. Absolutely. And so your prayers all the time, not just forever, but um, I hope y'all enjoyed this episode. I mean, we really, I enjoyed, we really slept that on one. Yeah. We were really giggling and ling I got so much from it for real. I'm like, wow. I loved it. I love that. That's like my favorite part when we do pods, like we never discuss what we're gonna like really say like we, we say like our, our questions. Mm-hmm. But we never discuss what we're gonna talk about. And it's just like every time, like. Yeah. They just fall. We get together and it's just so good.'cause I, like, sometimes Noah and Jensen, they'd be bringing up like points that I didn't even think of. Right. Like, I thought my own point, but then I'm just like, wait, I didn't think about that. That like, yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's so fire. That's I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah. Super fire. But yeah. Uh, we hope y'all enjoy Tyler's input. This episode. It was, oh man. Dude, if you want, yeah, if you want the rest of that going and follow my course. Yeah. Noah's course also our Patreon ran by jn, you know? You know A better way. Yeah, bro has been thinking about this. You have. He's actually got it. And we're making jokes, but was the last one. Yeah, he's got, and I was like, that's, I remember I was laughing so hard'cause I was like, man, the idea of just advertising course that they can't find. He's been kicking his like, I can't find this course. Where is it? I really want to, I really, I really wanna subscribe to this course. Nobody's asking, just like wondering, like nobody's asking. Yeah, nobody's gonna buy it. They just wanna see it. Yeah. They just wanna make sure it's real and then never look at it again. Hey, well, uh, hey, once again, if you're from. Our friends at the Boys and Girls Club, or you're from anywhere at the district or it's your first time listening at all. Thank you so much for listening. It really love. Awesome. We really appreciate you listening. Um, one thing we want you to comment this time, is Candy, corn, yay or nay? No. No. So Jayden, what you think? I love it Jayden. No, no goat. So we got three sheet, three versus one. It's gonna make different. Also, Justin switched up. I was saying this in the room. We called my mom. When I first met him, he said he didn't like go. Were you two insecure to tell me you didn't? You disagree with me? This is rage bay, bro. We called my mom in the meeting. She said, yes. Well, yeah, but you didn't tell me. That is what I'm saying. When I first, if I didn't tell you, remember. Not true. No, I remember the Well, why would you switch up? I didn't say anything. No. The very first time we talked about this, you were like, oh no, I don't like candy corn. I never would've said that. They've never talked about candy corn, by the way. No, we became friends last week, bro. How would I have told you that? Yeah, we've friends for a week. Wait, I just told you that. But yeah, thanks for listening. Uh, once again, first time the pod.
