Good evening, America. Welcome to the Ryan Samuel Show. Tonight we have a very uh important show. We're gonna expose some things that are happening in the world, particularly in New York City with Mayor Mom Domney. Now, what we're seeing is we are seeing a significant and severe repurposing of Marxism under a new term, right? So Mom Domney is not only admittedly a sympathizer of uh radical jihad, um, but he's also a Marxist and a member, uh a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Now, this new term that is being used in intellectual circles and elite colleges are uh it's called post-colonial theory, which is essentially that all European settlers are horrible human beings that subjugated other people, and the entire system needs to be up-ended and destroyed and burned to the ground so that we can institute new policy to build on Marxism. It's Marxism. That's exactly what it is. They just call it something different. So that is the gonna be the main show tonight. Um, if there's time, we may dab a little bit into the Supreme Court. I do not know if we're gonna have time, but the show tonight is going to be about Mom Domney and Marxists that have been infiltrating our society for the I don't know, past 50, 60 years since Marxism and Leninism um came about. So that's what we're gonna cover. Stay tuned, don't go anywhere. So before we can get into uh post-colonial theory, before we can get into Mom Domney and the things that he's actually doing, we need to understand what Marxism actually is. Okay? The core of Marxism is historical materialism, where Marx and Engels, right, they argue that history is driven primarily by material conditions, economics class, and who controls the means of production, the factories, lands, tools, etc. Uh they called this historical materialism. Society is shaped by ideas, religion, or individual heroes first, instead of the economic base, which would be the working class. And that is what determines the superstructure, which is, you know, politics, culture, law, religion, and family life, that essentially those that have destroy those that have not. That is the anti-capitalist, pro-Marxist view. Now, in their view, every society is divided into classes with opposing interests. Under capitalism, the main conflict is between the bourgeoisie or the capitalist class that own factories and resources, and the proletariat, right? The working class who sell their labor to the capitalists. The bourgeoisie exploit the workers by paying them less than the value they produce, creating surplus value as profit. This exploitation is inevitable and leads to growing inequality. This is a major, major fundamental fact of Marxism and a major fundamental theory of Marxism that you hear echoed in the Democratic Party on a daily basis. These are the things that you hear from AOC, Mamdani, Barack Obama. Yes, Barack Obama. That the the wealthy somehow eat the poor, and we need to eat the rich, we need to tax the rich, we need to maximize um profits from companies and redistribute the wealth. This is all Marxist theory. So Marx and Engels famously wrote The Communist Manifesto. If you have not seen or seen, if you have not read the Communist Manifesto, you need to. If you're watching this show, there's a high probability that you will agree with anything in it. That you will not agree, there's a high probability that you will not agree with anything in it, but you need to understand what the manifesto says. You need to understand what its base believes, what these people believe about you and your American society and how they want to tear it to shreds and the means that they will use to tear it to shreds. So in the Communist Manifesto, they they believed that the conflict between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat would intensify until the proletariat revolted. These are all I'm uh I'm emphasizing these words so that when we get to later sections of the show, you can understand what I'm talking about. That eventually the proletariat or the working class will overthrow the bourgeoisie and establish a classless society. First, through dictatorship of the proletariat. Dictatorship of the proletariat to suppress the old ruling class, then a true communist utopia where the state withers away and people work according to ability and receive according to need. A key quote from Karl Marx is workers of the world unite. Have you heard that screamed at a Democratic rally? I have. Workers of the world unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains. The goal was revolutionary overthrow, not gradual reform. That's what Marxism is. Marxism and Leninism is a revolutionary act. There is no other way to instill communism other than overthrowing the government that currently exists. You could do that by violence, or in a democracy, you could do that by taking over a political party, eating out their substance, destroying all the moderates, only promoting the extreme far-left loonies to take over the entire party and use that power to eat out the substance of the country and punish the people who've been successful. Marx and Lenin saw capitalism as doomed by its own contradictions, booms and busts, falling profit rates, stock market crashes, and the inevitable impoverishment of the masses. And this type of mentality, in the end, nobody is going to eat and only the rich are going to eat. That's this, that's what they're, even though 250 years later, uh, the poor in this country are the most obese people in the world, well, which would tell you that they're eating better than some of the richest people in other countries, our poorest country, our poorest people. But somehow they believe that the capitalism is going to completely eat up society and nobody is going to be able to work, and everybody's going to be working and they're going to become slaves to the system. So Marx predicted that advanced capitalist countries would see the working class become a majority, realize their exploitation, and seize the means of production. Private property would be abolished, and production would be planned collectively. Religion is dismissed as the opium of the people, meaning it's a drug. It's not real. That's what Marxists believe. A tool used by the ruling class to keep workers passive with promises of heaven. Engels helped popularize these ideas work through the condition of the working class in England. A publication in 1845 documenting industrial poverty to pursue to prove exploitation was real. These are just facts of what Marxism is. You can disagree with me all you want. You can say whatever you want to say to me, but the fact is that this is exactly what Marxism is. I challenge all of you to fact-check everything I'm saying and prove it's wrong. So classical Marxism focused on economic revolution, seizing factories and wealth directly. But in wealthy Western countries where workers weren't starving and revolutions didn't happen as predicted, later Marxists or modern-day Marxists have adapted the theory. That's the theory of uh the colonial, the post-colonialism theory. So if we look, if you look at Mam Downey's policies like aggressive rent controls and wealth redistribution, they echo the classic focus on economic control. He's using government power to shift resources and weaken private party property rights exactly as Marx prescribed in the economic sphere. The difference is he is doing it through democratic institutions rather than violent revolution, at least for now. That's what we're seeing with his policies. Now we're gonna get into his policies. We're gonna get into post-colonialism theory and how it relates to Marxism and how his policies exactly line up with both of these. A pure economic revolution has failed in the West. The Marxists have been unable to convince the working class that they need to uprise and overthrow the government. So that's when they that what they did, right? There's an Italian um philosopher, Antonio Gramsci. They updated Marxism. He's the founder of post-colonial theory, right? Antonio Gramsci. He updated the playbook to focus on culture first. We'll see how Mom Dani is a perfect example of this updated strategy of colonialism and how he's been influenced his entire life. Now, if you look at Marxism, there are certain steps that you need to do that are typically at that are typically outlined to overthrow a government. Number one, you have to capture education and culture to create new consciences. Number one, you have to capture education and culture to create a new conscience. What happens to all of these children coming out of college? What happens to people like Mom Donnie, whose dad was a Colombian professor who taught this theory? You have to capture education and culture to create a new conscience. You have to fill the public school system or the private school system or the college system with propaganda to change the culture and create new people. This way, so when conservatives sit there and say the school system is an indoctrination camp, it's an indoctrination camp, it's an indoctrination camp. This is the first step to institute Marxism. The first step is to capture education. Number two, infiltrate and take over existing institutions and political parties from within. This is called entryism. You have to infiltrate and take over existing institutions and political parties from within. Number three, use economic policy to create dependency and weaken private property or private capital. Mamdani has already said that he's going to seize the assets of the rich, that he's going to bad landlords are going to transfer their property over to the state. Number four, reframe cultural and foreign policy issues through identity and anti-Western lenses. The best way to do that is freeze Palestine from the river to the sea, reframe culture and foreign policy issues through identity and anti-Western lenses. Number five, consolidate power in government and use it to entrench gains while marginalizing opposition. Now, let's go back to number one, the capture education and culture to create a new conscious. While the mayor of New York City does not have direct control over education and his culture is a limited limited, Mamdani's use of rhetoric in policy framing around the rent freeze serves this step. If he had control over direct control over the education, he would institute new policies. This is what dictators do. He has publicly celebrated it as a historic victory for working people and a direct challenge to market-driven housing, using official statements and appearances to shift public consciousness toward viewing government intervention as the solution to affordability rather than private development or individual responsibility. Create a new conscience. Step one. Let's go over number two. Infiltrate and take over existing institutions and political parties from within. Mam Dani has used his mayoral authority to reshape a key city, a key city institution from within. He appointed six of the nine members to the New York City Rent Guidelines Board shortly after taking office. This majority allowed the board to deliver his desired outcome without relying solely on external pressure. This is what people with power do who are a corrupt and Marxist. So he he handpicked people that are going to vote the way that he wants them to vote and stacked the New York City Rent Guidelines Board, which I don't know why there's a guideline board for rent. That doesn't make any sense to me. The free market figures that one out. Rent is rent. You shouldn't have to control it. And if you do, you're not in a free country. And it typically will wind up costing more. Use of economic policy to create dependency and weaken private property capital. This also goes with the rent freeze with Mondani. The rent guidelines board voted 7 to 1 to oppose a two-year, to impose a two-year rent freeze on approximately 1 million rent stabilized apartments. This was the first two-year freeze in the board's history. One landlord representative resigned in protest, accusing the board of being steered towards a predetermined rent freeze and ignoring rising building costs. Everything costs more. How much do you think it costs to get cement there when gas is four or five dollars a gallon? Or haul trash. Or fix broken pipes. When you raise the minimum wage and you have to pay a handyman now $25 an hour in New York City. How much and the rent's not supposed to go up? Where's the extra money supposed to come from? What's the incentive to somebody to take the risk and buy a building and rent it out and still have owe millions and millions of dollars to a mortgage payment? Mortgage company. Now, this is something that Man Mamdani publicly hailed as a relief for tenants and a fulfillment of his vision for a more affordable city. Directly intervening in the private rental market by capping revenue for landlords while maintaining tenant dependency on regulated units. This policy weakens private party incentives and expands the role of the government in setting housing terms. That's number three. Use economic policy to create dependency and weaken private property. So now everybody in New York City that's in a rent-freeze apartment is dependent on the government. You can't just leave if you're happy with unhappy with your landlord. If the government is now the one that you answer to, there's nowhere to go. Number four, reframe culture and foreign policy issues through identity and anti-Western lenses. As mayor, Mamdani has continued to use this platform to frame housing policy through a lens of class and equity. Working tenants versus landlords slash property owners. The bourgeoisie, the proletariat. It's the same thing, different terms. Tying economic struggles to systematic oppression narratives. The rent freeze rollout emphasizes tenant victories against market forces, reinforcing progressive cultural framing around redistribution. Number five, consolidate power in government and use it to entrench gains while marginalizing opposition. By appointing a majority to the rent guidelines board and securing a seven to one on free on the freeze vote, Mamdani demonstrated effective use of executive appointment power to deliver policy wins and sideline any dissenting voice. This move entrenches tenant protections as the new status quo, making reversal politically difficult and solidifying his influence over housing policy throughout the entire citizen. The rent freeze and board appointments represent Mondami's most tangible use of mayoral power to date. They illustrate steps two, three, and five in Marxism. Taking over an existing regulating body, implementing redistribution economic policy that weakens private landlords and uses government authority to lock in games. This is a practical real world demonstration of the strategy working at the municipal level. Now, post-colonial theory. One of my college professors was a uh a Colombian graduate and he was an idiot. Had the IQ of a mashed potato. But there's this new theory coming out called post-colonial theory, right? It has the same steps. It's just different. Step one erode national cohesion and identity. Sounds a lot like step one of Marxism. Framing. Postcolonial theory teaches that Western American society is inherently oppressive. Does this sound familiar? This turns citizens into competing identity groups rather than a unified nation under shared values. Mom Domini's rhetoric linking the NYPD to the IDF or framing Israel through genocide/slash apartheid imports global grievances into American cities, fueling division instead of assimilation. We've seen rising anti-Semitism post-the October 7th spikes. Campus chaos and eroding trust in institutions. American strength has always been in its stability to integrate people around common ideals, not pitting groups against each other endlessly. But this is the left, right? So Mamdani is an extreme example of the left. Actually practicing Marxism or post-colonial theory, whatever you want to call it. Excuse me, I'm really trying not to curse. I apologize. Two, step two, post-colonial theory. Weaken economic freedom and prosperity. Or redistribution over growth. Policies like Mamdani's rent freeze on one million apartments distort markets. Landlords face capped revenue while costs rise, less maintenance, less new housing, shortages, and eventual decay. This creates dependency on government rather than opportunity work through ownership. Echo classic Marxist economic determinism. History shows this leads to stagnation. This happened in Venezuela in the 1970s. Or even in current blue cities like San Francisco, New York, and Chicago. You know, the the success of America's economy came post-World War II from free markets, innovation and property rights, not central planning. Number three undermines rule of law and public safety. Undermines this is number three, the steps in basically overthrowing a government. Undermine rule of law and public safety. What do we see from the left constantly? We see no bail. We see um criminals being released out onto the street that should be there. We see officers going to jail for the rest of their lives for arresting people and doing their job. We see a constant disrespect and a call to ban police and remove police and defund the police. Now, I know I mentioned this before, but in 2023, uh Mom Dani made a comment about the NYPD and to defund and abolish alongside the the defund and abolish movements, and we society has seen a significant and severe eroded respect for law enforcement. When you reframe policing as colonial oppression, it it leads to hesitancy, hesitancy, rising crime, and chaos. Number four, it attacks the foundations of Western civilization. In the playbook of post-colonial theory, it seeks to capture institutions, schools, media, government to replace Western value with new consciences. In practice, this means de-emphasizing merit, individual rights, Christianity, Judeo-Christian heritage, and enlightenment principles in favor of equity, group rights, and grievance. Do you see that on CNN? You see that on MSNBC? You hear that come out of Mom Domini's mouth. Now, this leads to declining birth rates, family breakdown, loss of patriotism, and institutional distrust. America becomes ungovernable and less exceptional. These all align with what we're seeing from the left. I'm using Mam Dani because he's actually saying it out loud. He's not pretending he's not doing it. So he's also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Now, as a Democratic, as a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, implementing rent control and wielding influence through primary sweeps and board appointees, Mamdani shows the long march delivering results in deep blue areas, but it creates a vicious cycle. Policies that hurt the economy, create more grievance, create more power for the left, and further decline. So they freeze the rent on your Manhattan apartment. It's $1,500 a month, right? But now the cost of everything goes up because the left is printing a ton of money. The right prints a ton of money too. They should stop printing money and go back to the gold standard. Be done with it. They print all this money, they devalue the dollar. Now sheetrock is no longer $20. It's $50. So it costs all this extra money for your landlord to repair things, for your maintenance, for your upkeep. Electrical costs are higher, plumbing costs are higher, everything's higher, permits are higher. But your rent is now frozen. So now the landlord, there's not a lot of money to be made as a landlord. I'll tell you that right now, because I am a landlord. There's not a lot of money to be made. If your mortgage payment is $1,000 a month and you can only rent it out for $1,200 a month, you'll maybe profit $200 because you still got to pay the note on this friggin' thing. And then they call you and the water heater's broke or the AC's broke and whatever. You got to replace an air conditioner. That's $15,000, $20,000. That's 10 years of profit gone. You didn't make anything. The only thing that you could possibly gain is the equity in the house as long as the markets continue to rise and the value of the home continues to rise. Now, this is intentionally designed against America. That's exactly what it's designed to do is destroy America. That's what they want to do. That's what they always have done. That's been a plan since the beginning. Now, America thrives on ordered liberty, individual responsibility, strong families, faith, secure borders, and free enterprise. Not imported grievances, ideologies, and social and sociological experiments. The solution is cultural and political pushback, school choice, parental rights, economic freedom, and unapologetic defense of Western values. That's why independent voices in American first politics matter. Now, Mamdani's major part of his life or major reason for his political philosophy was his upgrading, his upbringing. I think he was born in 1991 in Uganda, right? In Kampala, Uganda, to Indian Ugandan parents of Muslim background. They fled and they, I think they suck, they they suck asylum in New York. But his dad was like some elite professor at Columbia University. He went to this really bougie private school. Um, his dad was Mahmood Mamdomni, a prominent Colombian university professor specializing in post-colonial studies. His dad specialized in post-colonial studies or the overthrow of the United States government. He also studied African politics and anti-col and anti-colonial movements. He has been influential in academic circles connected to Edwards, Edward Saeed and Rashid Khalidi. His mother was an acclaimed Indian American filmmaker known for movies exploring immigration identity and social issues. He grew up in a way that immersed him in post-colonial theory or Marxism theory rediscovered with global justice narratives and progressive activism from a very, very young age. He attended the elite Bronx High School of Science before going to Bowden College and graduated in the year 2014 with a degree in African Studies. Explain to me how getting a degree in African studies makes you eligible to be mayor of New York City. I don't understand. So before he got into politics, he worked as a housing counselor in Queens, helping low-income homeowners fight addiction. He excuse me, fight evictions. Because if you don't pay your bill, you should just be able to live there for free. The landlord should just pay for you. It should just be free. His politics blend economic rent redistribution of wealth, strong pro-Palestinian activism, criticism of policing, and identity-framed justice. So this is how pro-Palestinian he is. He co-founded Bowden's Students for Justice and Palestine chapter and supported academic boycotts of Israeli institutions as an undergraduate. Boycotted Israeli institutions as an undergraduate. This has been consistent. He supports other things that boycott Israel and calls Israel's action in Gaza a genocide, criticizing the occupation, apartheid framing, and has pushed for ending U.S. military aid to Israel. In 2023, he said, when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it's been laced to the IDF. This linked American policing to Israel military tactics and drew widespread criticism. It should. Number one, the two have nothing to do to each other, but what is the step? The step is to diminish law and diminish policy. To diminish faith in the law. So here are some quotes from him. He was obviously Okay, he has quoted Martin Luther King Jr. on democratic socialism and wealth redistribution and has drawn from anti-colonial thinkers through his father's work. Here's a quote on socialism. When we talk about politics, I call myself a democratic socialist in many ways expires by the words of Dr. King. Call it democracy or call it democratic socialism. There has to be a better distribution of wealth for all of God's children in this country. Now, Martin Luther King was not a socialist, and that's not what he was referring to. Martin Luther King was not referring to stealing the wealth from the wealthy and giving it to the poor just so the poor could lose again and the wealthy could get it again. That's not what he was saying. Actually, one of the best essays written on natural law theory came from Martin Luther King while he was in jail in Birmingham, Alan Vatma. It was in a letter. I think it's actually called The Letter from the Birmingham Jail. You should read it. I think it's 17 pages long. It's probably the best version of natural law theory, which is basically you do it anything you want as long as you don't violate the rights of another. He also had other quotes on globalize the intifada. Initially refused to condemn it, saying it reflected a desperate desire for equality and equal rights. The intifada is the uprising of the Palestinians against the Israelis, which is terrorist attacks. It's terrorist attacks. That's all it is. Nothing. Nothing else. Nothing further. Just terrorist attacks. And to globalize the infitada is to globalize the entire world to take Israel out from the river to the sea and that they should not exist and get rid of all of them. That's what he's calling for. Later, he would discourage the phrase after conversation with rabbis and business leaders, acknowledging in a votes painful painful memories of violence for some. See, this is when he's starting to run for political office. He's starting to watch his tone a little bit. He has repeatedly described Israel's action as genocide and called for ending the occupation and dismantling apartheid. Now, when October 7th happened, obviously he's running for office. He condemned Hamas and called it a horrific war crime, but maintained strong criticism of Israel's response. They, dude, they put babies in ovens, man. It's no holds bar. We're going at you. Uh we're going to completely and utterly destroy everything you have love and hold dear to your heart. That's what happens when you when you uh kill innocent people. Now they could have attacked Israel and went after IDF agents and done all of that, but they went after innocent people because they don't care. They hate you. They hate you if you're not one of them. So there are a couple things about post-colonialism that are I mean, obviously, most of it is extremely dangerous to America. So the the thought process is that this power there's been an incredible power imbalance since it formed, since we came over here in uh 1492, right? Uh that colonialism didn't change when the flags changed. That there's this power structure embedded in language, education, institutions, media, and global economics. This is the same theory as like critical race theory. Except it goes after just America itself. So the the big key takeaways is that it draws from Marxism. It is Marxism, but it it shifts it to a more pure class struggle and culture and identification identity-based power. It's been thoroughly studied. Uh Mamdani was brought up in it in his entire life, and it's the only thing he knows. The guy has no real life experience. He has no real life experience. He has done nothing of note in his life except get elected only because he's a radical, and that's the only people that the deck, the left recommend or push forward are, are, or radicals. It's a big danger to America because it wrote it, number one, it erodes national cohesion, but that's the point of it. It turns America into a story of perpetual oppressors versus oppressed rather than a unified notion of individuals under shared values. That's what the conservative movement wants. The conservative movement wants the United States of America under shared value with pride in its country and to be free of oppression. Postcolonial theory makes you, the conservative, be the oppressor when we're trying to break the chains of this totalitarian style of government that's trying to infiltrate and seize your assets and seize your property. It justifies redistributionist policies that weaken incentives for growth, maintenance, and innovation, leading to stagnation, shortages, and dependencies with government. That's what they want. They don't want it to be prosperous. They want it, they want to be the solution to the problem that they create, and then you keep running to them, and then they create more problems, and then you give them more power, and it's just a cycle. It's a cycle of despotism. It's a cycle of despotism. And I'm glad that we recognize it and we can see it, and that we can fight it. This is him when he was young, younger. He's young now, he's a lot younger than I am. Here he is protesting.

And we raise taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers instead of taking more from those with the least. Throughout this process, I've been reminded of the words of the Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek. If socialists understood economics, they wouldn't be socialists. These past months have shown us anything. Then they turn around and make you a slumlord and seize your house because they act like you work for them. I don't work for the government. My business does not work for the government. The government is not in charge of my business. That's not how America works there, Mom Donnie. Listen again.

We know that the vast majority of the time, ICE agents are not presenting that kind of documentation. If they're presenting any documentation, it tends to be an administrative warrant, and oftentimes there isn't any documentation even provided. So we want to make clear the rights of every New Yorker that they have and clearly.

That's just my opinion. Here's the problem is that this this mentality has already infiltrated our government. And once it does, it's incredibly hard to get them out of power, Marxists or Leninists, because they what they do once they're in power is they design a system that invinces a design to reduce you to absolute despotism. And it is impossible to overdo it because every policy he's doing is creating more reliance on the state and gaining more votes from people who think that the state is the solution. That's the psychological mind game that they're playing, is to infiltrate the schools, re-educate all of humanity, all of the United States, infiltrate and take over existing institutions and political parties from within. Use economic policy to create dependency and weaken private property. Reframe cultural and foreign policy issues through identity and anti-Western lenses. Consolidate power in government and use it to entrench gains while marginalizing opposition. What happens to anybody on the left side of the aisle that speaks up against these people? They're rode out on a rail. Not part of it. Good question. Sanctuary city. Millions and millions of new ballots. It's just a question. I don't know. It's kind of one of those impossible things to figure out. But it does concern me. So now they've infiltrated New York City, they're never going to give up power. How are you supposed to elect somebody now who is going to raise your rent? If you infiltrate the school system and you put and you propagas the propagandize the next generation to hate America, hate the West, overthrow their people, become completely dependent on the government, and redistribute all of the wealth that exists in the world so that everybody has two pennies to rub together instead of everybody having housing and our poorest population being the most obese in the world. That's the problem. Is that once it's established, it's almost impossible to overturn. We've been screaming this at the top of our lungs for 20 years. 20 years I've been talking about this. Everybody's been talking about this. Bill O'Reilly was talking about this. Glenn Beck was talking about this. Sean Hannity was talking about this. 20, 30 years ago. This is coming. This is what they're planning. They're taking over the teachers' unions and they're brainwashing our children. The Democratic Party's been overrun by Marxists. Even Senator Joe McCarthy back in the 60s and 70s was hunting down Marxists and communists inside our American government. Did he get out of hand? Yes. Did he find actual communists? Yes. We fought wars against communism specifically because it's communism. We've sacrificed our young men and women's lives to stop the spread of it. And now here in the one of the biggest cities in the world that's in our country is actively welcoming it and promoting it as the best way to live. It's a huge step for Marxism to gain hold in the United States of America. They've already got a stranglehold on one of our biggest cities. You think that's not going to spread to other cities? You think he's not going to influence NYU, Columbia, the entire Stony Brook, the entire New York educational system to indoctrinate people and pump them out? You think he's not going to try to run for president or governor and try to implement it statewide or nationwide? You think he's not a hero to the left side of the aisle? Who is just full of communists and socialists? They're the only ones left. There's no rational Democrats left in the United States of America anymore. Do you think they're just gonna give up and let you have the power back? You have to stop it before it spreads. And we do that through our voice and through the ballot box. It's the only way you can do it. And my last question to you is what are you doing about it? Are you fighting? Are you calling your congressperson? I think the second or the third biggest city that listens to this podcast is New York City. It's probably because I'm from there. And I've had a couple of billboards up. That might help too.
