SonnyHoston invokes Privledge Mamdani over steps

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is still exploring ways to have the NYPD arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits for the UN General Assembly in September. In his latest interview, Mamdani called Netanyahu a "war criminal" who belongs in The Hague over ICC charges tied to Gaza operations, while claiming his team is reviewing the legal options.

At the same time, "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin was caught on bodycam footage on the phone with her Harvard-grad son Gabriel, pleading with police not to ticket him for trespassing on active Metro-North railroad tracks. She repeatedly cited her background as a former federal prosecutor and insisted her son has "no criminal record" and made an innocent mistake.

Figure that one out. How is her son above the law? How is her status as the host of the view or even a federal prosecutor for that matter above the law are gonna pull strings like that? You know, nobody really does that anymore. You can't get things like that done anymore. There are no more favors on the street, at least when I was a police officer. Those things were kind of going away. So apparently her son, I I don't know the whole story. We're gonna figure that out together as we always do. I know a little bit about it. Your mother's the host of a television show. You're no longer a federal prosecutor. So you're lying to the police in order to get beneficial treatment to your son. This is the same woman who screamed about how nobody's above the law. Nobody's above the law. Donald Trump is above the law.

Now, here is Sonny, obviously, because her children are of color, they're they're black, right? They're mixed. So therefore, they just they're victims of racism all the time.

It doesn't matter if her son is not following the law. It doesn't matter if her son's actually committing a crime. Because she's assuming just because her son is of color, he's being stopped because he's of that color, which is something that police just do not do. Here is the full clip. So he's obviously in an area he's not supposed to be, whether he knows it or not, right? Because that can happen. When I was a kid, there was a gate open to some park in New York on Long Island. It was actually the Bay Yard Cutting Arborino. And I'm sure there were signs that said no trespassing after dark, but I didn't know. I was a kid. I was just riding my bike and I'm like, oh, it's open. I'm gonna go through the park. And I got stopped by some park police who broke my chops and said I was trespassing. If it is properly posted, no trespassing, and you enter it, whether you saw the sign or not, you were committing the crime of trespassing. Right, wrong, indifferent. That's the way that it is. Now, obviously, it it appears of the video for the people on the podcast that he's standing on railroad tracks. Now, these are typically closed off. Like you can't walk down the railroad tracks. You can't stand on the railroad tracks for a number of reasons. Number one, you could get hurt. Number two, you could sabotage the tracks, you could take out railway ties. People do that to try to sell the metal and make a ton of money. They're worth a lot of money. Don't ever do that. But then it's just it's just not a good idea. So whether it's posted or not, I would not be like, hey, I'm gonna go walk down the railroad tracks. Not it, not as a grown man, maybe as a kid, which I did often in New York. But here he is. Look at this little smirk, little smug face, like, oh, my mom's gonna get me out of this. She's powerful. I can do what I want. I'm better than you. This is racism. This is my 15 minutes. This is gonna be a national news story.

Here's the other issue. Police officers have a tremendous amount of discretion. He could essentially say, get out of here, I'm giving you a warning, don't come back, don't be on the tracks. Right. But if the officer's being smart, he kind of has to document it now. Because now this is gonna now that he knows it's Sonny Host, and now that he knows that this kid is some smug little smart ass and his mom's a former federal prosecutor, he has to back up his action. He has to document why he stopped him, the reason for the stop. This was not a racially motivated thing. This this guy I didn't know who he was. He was just walking down the railroad tracks. We stopped him, and if you don't cite him, then that makes the stop illegitimate. So now he has to cite him because that's the world that we live in. Officers every day are losing their discretion. He has to back up what he did and why he did it because he doesn't want to wind up a national news story. So this is this is the result of the society that people like Sonny Holston have built.

If I let you go, you're gonna turn around and say you were harassed and stopped for no reason. And then when it becomes a public or national story, and my chief comes to me and goes, What happened? You stopped this kid or a lieutenant or sergeant, whatever. I say, Yeah, I stopped him. I gave him a warning and let him go. He goes, Well, now they're saying you stopped him for harassing him, so why didn't you cite him? Oh, well, I don't know. He was a good kid, Harvard grad didn't go to school. Okay. Well, now you have no reason for the stop. So therefore, your discretion is gone. I've been warning about this forever. There are so many laws on the books that the police can write you for anything. Anything, anything spitting on a sidewalk, cursing in public, city ordinance, like anything. Like everybody commits commits crimes on a daily basis, they just don't realize it. But this is the world that you wanted, and this is the world that you got.

And like I said, it's usually in the if you don't think that this officer knows that if he doesn't write a warning or write a ticket that she's gonna be on the national stage and his ass is gonna be in the hot seat, he absolutely knows that. And he goes, Nope. Oh no, you're definitely getting a ticket. No way out of that one. Good. I'm glad. It's not a big deal, it won't even be in his record. He'll show up to court, he'll pay a fine, the judge will say, Don't do stupid crap like that, get out of here, pay them $200, and it gets taken off your record. It's not even gonna stay in his record.

Who cares, dude? It's a jaywalking ticket. I mean, that's what you get though. I I I can't control it. And nobody's above the law. I mean, Sonny has made that crystal clear. Crystal clear that nobody is above the law. So he'll be fine, he'll survive. Sonny's being a mom, she's trying to do what's best for her kid. I'm not mad at her, I understand it. It's just these officers don't have any discretion any anymore. They can't. Because their ass is gonna be in the hot seat and they're gonna wind up in a federal prison or in handcuffs if they stop somebody for the wrong reason. So they have to stop and justify every stop. They have to justify every stop. Increasingly, officers are are not letting you go with warnings for tickets. They used to do that all the time. You better have a reason for the stop. If you don't have a reason for the stop, you have to write a ticket. So back when I was a police officer, this was a long time ago, about 10 years ago now. If I pulled somebody over for rolling a stop sign, I could check their license, no background, no criminal background, no driving history, no horrible driving history. And I would say, okay, listen, man, pay attention. Don't be stupid, get out of here, right? But if I stop somebody for rolling a stop sign, I smell marijuana in their car, and then it gives me probable search, probable cause to search the car, I find illegal drugs or guns or anything else or a warrant, you had to write the ticket. The reason you had to write the ticket is because you had to document why you stopped them to lead them up to the arrest, right? So you had to have a probable cause and reason for the stop. Once I find a crime, that discretion is now out the window because I need to prove to a court of law that I stopped you for a specific reason. It was legitimate and it was lawful. Nowadays, all these officers are terrified, they're gonna be accused of. Profiling or rate or committing in racist whatever they want to say. So everybody gets a ticket. Everybody gets a ticket. Even a little old white Italian grandma who's 93 years old. She gets a ticket. We don't care. I'm not going to be accused of being anti-Italian. Discretion's going out the window. And Sonny and her son have unfortunately felt the wrath of that. There are no more favorites. So in other news, Zoran or Zorhan, Zorhan Mom Dani has said that he is going to possibly arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. Interesting. So this he had said this during the campaign. During the campaign, I kind of laughed it off. He's campaigning. He's trying to rally the base of left-wing radical lunatics. And I don't think that he's serious, right? Now, he's doing a video, an interview. He is a the mayor of New York City at this point, and he's being asked this question if he would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. Listen to his response.

Last question on this topic. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is perhaps planning to visit New York for the UN General Assembly. You pledged during your campaign and after you won to order his arrest to comply with the International Criminal Court warrant. What will happen if he comes in September?

I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in The Hague. He's a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And what you will find is that is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years. I've also said that I will follow the laws that we have here in New York City because I believe that there's an importance in following the law as a leader who presides over our city, and that's something that I plan to do.

Nobody cares about the International Criminal Court. Mamdani is just he's he's anti-Semitic and wants to do anything. Zorham Mamdani is basically saying, he's trying to walk both sides of the fence. He's saying that there is a warrant out from the International Criminal Court, which is a joke. Nobody participates in it. China, Russia, United States, nobody cares. They also have warrants out for Putin and a thousand other people that they have zero police or anybody to arrest anybody. It's an absolute clown show. That's number one. Number two, but then he's saying, oh, but then I'm the mayor of New York, I have to follow New York law. Yeah. New York law says you cannot arrest a foreign national who's visiting the UN. That's not how it works.

Aaron Powell I think we are looking at all of our legal obligations, and one of them is with regards to the United Nations, but the other part of this is we're we're not talking about a personal assessment of Benjamin Netanyahu. We're talking about the International Criminal Court and the fact that they have a warrant out for this Prime Minister's arrest. And I think it's it's important to talk about the weight that that has as a charge and also zero weight. That as the mayor of New York City, I'll be following the laws of New York City.

Donald Trump immediately came out and posted this on Truth Social saying Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested in any way, shape, or form. While in the United States of America, he is fighting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which recently killed 52,000 innocent protesters, and he spent the last 47 years killing American soldiers and others. The only ones that should be arrested are the people that led Iran into this unprecedented spiral of death and destruction, something that should have been dealt with years ago by previous presidents, President Donald J. Trump. First of all, who does this guy, Mamdani, think that he is? Who do you think you are? You're a mayor. You're not even like a governor. You're not the governor of New York. You don't get to, you don't get to turn around and you don't get to say you're gonna you're gonna get to turn around and say that you are going to arrest foreign nationals when they visit your city. You're not the police force of the International Criminal Court. The United States of America doesn't even contribute to the to the International Criminal Court. Who the hell are you as a city mayor to say, oh well, I'm part of the International Criminal Court? No, you're not, homie. You're nothing. You manage one of the most poorly run cities in the country, and I say that as a native. And you're gonna start an international conflict? That's a declaration of war. Imagine Donald Trump goes to Great Britain and goes to visit Scotland or wherever, and some mayor of some city arrests Donald Trump. How do you think that's gonna go? You think we're gonna let that happen? Do you think the United States of America is going to permit the president of the United States to be taken into custody? Or do you think they're gonna fight like hell? And drop bombs and break him out of jail and invade the country. One hundred percent. One hundred percent. Mamdani just he he loves this stuff. He is he he's radical, he's a radical fundamentalist extremist that should not be in that office. Period. Full stop, end of discussion. He should not be in that office at all. But unfortunately, he is because New York is just weak. They're just completely weak. It's not what it used to be. New York used to be a uh a tough town. And it's unfortunate and pretty sad. That this is where we are. Where we have some knucklehead saying he's going to arrest. He's going to arrest a sitting prime minister of Israel and drag the United States into a war. I just want to know just what your feelings are when you look at, for example, your administration also reaching out to the prime minister of um, excuse me, the ambassador of Iran. Just how you, I guess, reconcile the two of tr of being so critical of the Israeli Prime Minister, but at the same time meeting with the ambassador of Iran.

Anyway, it seems that this guy, he was an army veteran, allegedly, from what we're being told. This is not like a like a serious coordinated attack. It wasn't a pipe bomb, it wasn't a car bomb, it wasn't anything like that, but it was somebody lit a federal building or at least the stairs on fire. So it it is a problem, and it was done with political motivation, from what they're saying, from obviously a mentally a mentally ill person. Now, here is the New York City, ahead of the FBI, along with the NYPD, giving their brief. Let's listen to this.

Thank you, Commissioner Tisch, for being here. And Jamie McDonald, the deputy United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Today, just before 9 a.m., a man by the name of Andrew Arabaca, A-R-R-A-B-A-C-A, arrived at 26th Federal Plaza, just behind us on Worth Street, at the employee entrance to the building where he ignited gasoline. He poured gasoline onto the ground and ignited it with a lighter and an incendiary device. That device was a firework, a large firework in a canister that proceeded to catch on fire, pretty big flame, as you've seen on the internet. He then pulled out an airsoft rifle and fired five to seven pellets, if you will, in the direction of 26 Federal Plaza. At that time, Federal Protective Services, two officers, a gray suit, a contractor with Allied that is employed to guard this building. And those three people, and the two officers standing behind me in the blue shirts, are the officers that intervened and took Mr. Arabach into custody. Well, he had him on the ground. An FBI agent jumped in and they put handcuffs on him and took him in the building. He is currently in custody and he has been interviewed. Arabach is a former United States Army soldier. He was enlisted for approximately four years, serving from 2001 to 2005. He was a repairman or mechanic on Patriot Missile Systems. He is 43 years old. There were injuries in this three people were injured, minor injuries, one civilian and two government employees.

I mean, I don't know. Or somebody twisted their ankle running away. I mean, they they count that kind of stuff as injuries. But there's been no like actual real injuries from what I can see or what I know.

Right now, our evidence response team is out working with NYPD and our New York Joint Terrorism Task Force to collect evidence, to conduct interviews. We have located a vehicle of Mr. Arabaca's. We have seized that vehicle. We are procuring or obtaining a search warrant. Mr. Arabaca came armed with bad intentions. I will say that 26 Federal Plaza has long been a target of extremists, of terrorists. And today the extremism was brought here. The building was attacked. Mr. Arabaca was looking to injure people and harm people. He had two axes, a hammer, a machete, and three knives, fixed blade knives. He had, as I said earlier, seven. Incendiary devices or fireworks, and he had some other destructive items. Uh going forward today, like I said, we'll do more interviews, we'll collect more evidence, and we will, and I'll I'll leave to Mr. McDonald to talk about charges. We take this very seriously. On his cart, he had a cart. He had anti-ICE literature on it. When he was being arrested, he yelled derogatory terms to ICE, used bad words, obviously. Uh, he is an anti-American, anti-government extremist. We know that from what he said. We know that from what he has said post-arrest, and we know that from what his actions that he tried to take today. So I will turn it over to police commissioner Tish.

I am here to provide some additional details about this morning's incident outside of 26 Federal Plaza. This remains an active investigation, and the information that we have is still being gathered and is subject to change. At approximately 8:30 this morning, a call came in to New York City's 911 call center that there was an active shooter outside of 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan. Two additional calls in the subsequent minutes reported an explosion and a mail setting off fireworks at the location. Units from NYPD's Fifth Precinct responded within two minutes of the first 911 call. And by the time they were on scene, the suspect had already been taken into custody by federal officers. The suspect has been identified, as you just heard, as Andrew Arabaka, 43 years old of Poughkeepsie. He is believed to be a U.S. Army veteran. His last known address was up in Harlem. His vehicle, a Black Toyota RAV-4, was located parked in the vicinity of West 124th Street in Broadway. And that vehicle is subject to search, pending a search warrant. The entire incident unfolded in view of an NYPD camera positioned on the southwest corner of Worth Street and Broadway. Video and witness statements describe the suspect's actions as follows. At approximately 8 30 a.m., Mr. Arabaka arrived at Worth Street and Lafayette Street in front of 26 Federal Plaza. Once he arrives, he ignites a bundle of what appears to be fireworks, which begin to smoke. He then goes back into smoke his cart and takes out an airsoft rifle and proceeds to brandish it. And he appears to fire several pellets from the airsoft rifle. Next, he pulls out an orange bucket from his cart and runs towards the bushes along the building line. He dumps the contents of the bucket, an incendiary liquid, between two sets of bushes along the perimeter of this property and ignites a fire. Federal agents and officers then run up to the subject, subdue him, and take him into federal custody. The scene was recovered, among other things, two airsoft rifles and the container with the flammable liquid. Also affixed to the suspect's cart was a sign reading ice off our streets. During the incident, the suspect was wearing a military-style helmet. This incident occurred along federal property, and the NYPD is supporting the federal government in their investigations. Charges are yet to be filed. Our work with the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Southern District of New York is critical to keeping our city safe. And I commend the federal agents and contractors and officers who responded to the threat this morning. Now I'm going to turn it over to Deputy United States Attorney Jamie McDonald.

As you can see, we're here in response to an incident this morning that took place just behind us here at the Jacob K. Javit Center, which houses dozens of federal agencies and thousands of federal employees. I want to thank uh the work of our law enforcement partners to whose rapid response led to the to the neutralization of the threat and the immediate turn to evidence collection and investigation. Our office, the Southern District of New York, led by the National Security Unit and the General Crimes Units, are working closely with the FBI, the NYPD, FPS, and others to investigate this matter. As you've heard, one individual has been taken into custody.

And they're going to charge him with a bunch of charges. And starting tomorrow, you will not hear about this ever again. But that's the that's the best thing. It'll be done. This is an isolated incident that appears to be nothing of really merit. It just appears to be some sort of mentally ill person who hated ice, which typically seems to be an indicator of somebody who hates ice. So, hey Michelle, how are you? Yes, the guy that lit up the entrance. Perfect. That that is him, but that's essentially all he did. And he brought an airstroff gun and some fireworks. It looks like he was maybe trying to do what's called suicide by cop. So we won't we won't hear of this ever again. There's no there's no real indication that this is some sort of well, I mean, I guess there is an indication that this is, you know, some political politically motivated scenario. He did have on his, I guess his cart that he's pushing around because he seems he appears to be a vagrant or or something along those lines, pushing his cart around that said, and the and the cart said, keep ice off of our streets. And yeah. But this is the kind of city that New York City mayor Mam Dani is running, and I can't believe that this guy actually believes that he can even joke about arresting Benjamin Netanyahu and get away with it. There's if he even tries, the FBI is gonna come and put him in handcuffs immediately, and he's going to he's going to be put away and removed from office. That's just something that the United States cannot tolerate or allow to happen. Similarly, like I said earlier, if you let if I if Donald Trump went to Great Britain and he's, you know, the the mayor of London is like, oh, we need to arrest this chap. Yeah, no, you you you take our president, we're gonna we're gonna friggin' drop the entire United States Marine Corps in there and kidnap the royal family, and you'll be begging us for mercy. But good show tonight. We had a couple of topics. Sonny Hoston was humbled quite dramatically and gloriously. I'm glad to hear that she is not above the law and her son is not above the law, and that he got a citation. And Mom Donnie is gonna have a reality check. That that's a huge problem that he that he is even saying that, that he's even making those statements as if it's something that that could possibly happen and be accepted. Uh, that he's going to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu based on a warrant from the International Criminal Court that has zero to do with New York City or even the United States. The United States doesn't even recognize it. They got an arrest warrant out for Vladimir Putin. It's it's a political court that just does things for popcorn farts. And Mam Dani, it's just his wet dream of his Palestinian radical side. Where he thinks that America is evil and so is Israel, and we all need to be wiped off the map from the river to the sea. In other words. So but that is going to do it for tonight. Hey, Kat, welcome on. Mom Donnie needs to s you're it went away. Couldn't see it, didn't see what you said, but yeah, I agree. Mom Donnie needs to go. Unfortunately, he is the mayor. They're going to continue to elect his mayorship until his time runs out. This is something that New York City is not going to unwind. Here's the problem with New York. Everybody's gone, right? I was born and raised in New York. My mom was born and raised in New York. My sister was born and raised in New York. My grandparents, my aunts, my uncles, everybody. They're all gone. So there's nobody to fight and combat this. This is kind of what we're seeing. We're kind of seeing. We're kind of seeing a continuation of what we saw. There's an argument between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson about the Treasury Department and the National Bank. And Thomas Jefferson made it very clear to Hamilton. He said, he's like, I really don't understand, you know, what you're doing with this, with the with the with the federal bank, with the Treasury Department. I don't understand its role. He can explain it to me. And Hamilton is basically saying, well, you know, the United States needs debt. We need to create debt and then pay off that debt. And the, you know, the bigger the debt, the bigger the economy, the bigger the country. And he said, well, if if we have a national debt and all the states owe a portion of the national debt, what you're going to have is you're going to have Southern farmers are going to owe money to New York bankers. And then all the power and the wealth is going to be controlled in the North. And the South is going to be poor agrarians who are going to be dominated by the North. And the South is going to be basically under duress. And it's going to create a rift and a civil war. That's what Thomas Jefferson said to Hamilton. And George Washington was there. They argued as they always did. And he was right. He was 100% right. We're seeing a continuation of that today. What we're seeing is we're seeing all of these people flee New York. We're seeing them flee Chicago. We're seeing them flee California. And they're going to North Carolina. They're going to Florida. They're getting out of these towns that are way too expensive. And just have too many laws and rules. So what's left behind are the radicals. Which is how Mom Donnie gets elected. And how he stays elected. And how he thinks he can create and enforce international law. Get out of here, dude. I mean, imagine having an ego like that. What a clown. What an absolute joke this guy is. But imagine where we're going to be in a hundred years from now, when all of anybody with a shred of conservativism, with a anybody even left of center, that's not some extremist, communist, socialist, radical, they they're not going to be able to stay in these places anymore. They're not going to be able to stay in New York. They're not going to be able to stay in Chicago, Atlanta, all these, they're going to go out and you're going to have this separation. And eventually, there's going to, it's going to it's going to create a powder keg. Because the the mindset between California and New York and Florida is going to be so far apart that when we have an incident where somebody like Mam Dani arrests Benjamin Netanyahu, or even worse, or even worse, say Ron DeSantis wants to go to New York, and then Mam Dani doesn't like him or says he's a war criminal or whatever he says, and then arrests Ron DeSantis. You're going to have a friggin' war in your hands. I mean, obviously Ron DeSantis won't be around 100 years from now. It's a hyperbolic example of things that can happen. World War II, I mean, World War I kicked off because Archduke Ferdinand got assassinated. Just one thing, and the entire world went to war for the first time in human history. So that separation is something that we have to acknowledge, number one, and we have to see how we can prevent it from going further. Because there's this fundamental divide in this country. A serious divide. An extremely far divide between like two po two political philosophies. Complete and utter totalitarian control and individual freedom. But even the right has shifted its individual freedom to a little bit more totalitarian control. Since Reagan, since Ronald Reagan. Just something to be on the lookout for. It's something that I've noticed, I've experienced. Because the people fleeing New York aren't the left-wing radicals. It's the moderates. And Mom Donnie's not going anywhere, man. Telling you right now, he's gonna stay there for more terms because the people in New York have completely lost it. What do you do about it? I'm not there to vote him out anymore.
