Christopher Lennertz
Inspired by Star Wars and Van Halen, composer Chris Lennertz's career transformed after meeting Henry Mancini in college, whose genre-spanning work became his model.
Lennertz writes for diverse storytellers—from Amazon's The Boys to Spielberg's Medal of Honor, Seth Rogen's Sausage Party to Netflix's Lost in Space. He's earned two Emmy nominations, a Grammy with Ozomatli, and twenty BMI awards for blockbusters like Bad Moms, Horrible Bosses, and Ride Along.
Recent projects include 13: The Musical, Guns N Roses November Rain, and UglyDolls featuring Kelly Clarkson and Lizzo. He's currently writing stage musical BeAPart and co-directing animated short Pacemaker.
Lennertz collaborates with legends including Arturo Sandoval, Dave Grusin, and members of Pearl Jam, plus directors and producers behind box office hits. He's prominent in video games (Medal of Honor, Mass Effect) and serves on boards supporting music education and Haiti relief.
