In this heartwarming and inspiring episode of The WB Download, host Jeff Wieland welcomes Payton Obert and her mom, Jess Obert, to share the incredible journey behind Payton’s Lemonade Stand. What started in 2017 as a simple way for young Payton to give back has since grown into a powerful nonprofit organization with over 100 locations in 2025. From raising $768 in its first year to an astonishing $35,000 in 2020, even during a pandemic. Payton’s passion for helping others has made a lasting impact on Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and many local organizations.

Jeff talks with Payton about her goals, including her dreams of becoming a speech and language pathologist, while Jess shares the behind the scenes work of running their 501(c)(3) and keeping the momentum going.
