Edmund King is an avid motoring enthusiast who prefers the driver's seat to any other spot in a car. His passion for driving is not rooted in a distrust of others, but rather in the joy and sense of control, he experiences behind the wheel. Edmund's adventures on the road are diverse and extensive, having undertaken remarkable journeys that include a fascinating tour of Scotland and a marathon drive from John O'Groats to Lands' End.
King's latest venture was as part of the Greenfleet EV Rally, which travelled an impressive tour of the UK's five capitals—starting from Cardiff, passing through Bristol and London, reaching up to Edinburgh, and crossing over to Belfast. His embracing of electric vehicles (EVs) made this expedition stand out. The rally integrated an electric HGV and an electric motorcycle into the mix. Edmund's travels not only fulfil his love for driving but also demonstrate the practicality and enjoyment that EVs can provide on long roads. His experiences highlight the potential for sustainable transportation without sacrificing the pleasure of the journey.
