I grew up a pastors kid, raised with a purpose to know and follow Jesus. After High School I joined the mission field. I experienced other cultures and lived along side other believers with different life experiences than I. After 5 years in the mission field and what is now to me a life time(I'm 42 years old)of experiencing fellowship with other believers I have concluded one fact... They all have issues and I am one of them! I could not help to conclude that a life as a christian is not a life without struggles. And depending on the struggle, if not attended too, produces a result of leaving the faith. Every time I experienced this result I was in disbelief. "How can a person who says, "Jesus is everything" leave their faith over a personal life circumstance?" That is until I myself experienced a great loss and found myself looking suicide in the face. But it was in this moment that God began to teach me the great importance of endurance.
