He was born actually in"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":78.51,"endTime":82.08,"body":"slavery in Virginia. His father"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":82.08,"endTime":84.81,"body":"was able to escape on the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":82.08,"endTime":84.81,"body":"Underground Railroad and raise"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":84.81,"endTime":87.72,"body":"money and was able to purchase"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":84.81,"endTime":87.72,"body":"and bring the whole family out"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":87.72,"endTime":91.8,"body":"of slavery. So William Carney is"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":87.72,"endTime":91.8,"body":"freed, begins actually studying"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":91.8,"endTime":94.98,"body":"to become a Christian minister,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":91.8,"endTime":94.98,"body":"the civil war breaks out, so it"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":94.98,"endTime":97.98,"body":"changes everybody's plans. Life"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":94.98,"endTime":97.98,"body":"is different. When the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":97.98,"endTime":101.52,"body":"Emancipation Proclamation comes"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":97.98,"endTime":101.52,"body":"out in 1863, there have been a"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":101.52,"endTime":105.72,"body":"lot of, of abolitionists, a lot"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":101.52,"endTime":105.72,"body":"of black leaders telling Abraham"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":105.72,"endTime":110.7,"body":"Lincoln you need to allow black"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":105.72,"endTime":110.7,"body":"soldiers or black individuals to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":110.7,"endTime":114.0,"body":"join and be part of the military"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":110.7,"endTime":114.0,"body":"to be soldiers. He's actually"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":116.43,"endTime":120.21,"body":"part of Morgan's guards, which"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":116.43,"endTime":120.21,"body":"later became Company C, in the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":120.21,"endTime":125.04,"body":"Massachusetts 54th regiment,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":120.21,"endTime":125.04,"body":"which was not coincidentally,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":125.04,"endTime":129.87,"body":"the movie featured in the old"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":125.04,"endTime":129.87,"body":"1989 film The movie Glory, which"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":129.87,"endTime":132.78,"body":"won several Academy Awards."},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":129.87,"endTime":132.78,"body":"Well, William Carney is the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":132.78,"endTime":137.28,"body":"Mass. 54th. And as the course of"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":132.78,"endTime":137.28,"body":"the War goes on, it's worth"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":137.28,"endTime":140.67,"body":"noting that at time to another"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":137.28,"endTime":140.67,"body":"individual who, very"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":140.67,"endTime":143.97,"body":"significant, connected with the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":140.67,"endTime":143.97,"body":"Mass. 54th was Colonel Robert"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":143.97,"endTime":147.9,"body":"Shaw. He was the white officer"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":143.97,"endTime":147.9,"body":"who was leading the black troops"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":147.9,"endTime":151.59,"body":"in the Mass. 54th. And the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":147.9,"endTime":151.59,"body":"reason he was chosen, and chosen"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":151.59,"endTime":154.56,"body":"a little relative, but he had"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":151.59,"endTime":154.56,"body":"had military experience. And"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":154.56,"endTime":157.05,"body":"they, as you're bringing in"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":154.56,"endTime":157.05,"body":"people who've never been"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":157.05,"endTime":160.53,"body":"soldiers who have never seen"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":157.05,"endTime":160.53,"body":"combat, largely speaking, they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":160.53,"endTime":163.23,"body":"wanted to have officers who were"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":160.53,"endTime":163.23,"body":"relatively familiar with combat,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":163.23,"endTime":166.32,"body":"knew something about it, so they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":163.23,"endTime":166.32,"body":"can offer insight. Guys, when"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":166.32,"endTime":169.56,"body":"the battle happens, right,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":166.32,"endTime":169.56,"body":"bullets and muzzle flashes and"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":169.56,"endTime":171.69,"body":"whatever else, give some"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":169.56,"endTime":171.69,"body":"perspective and insight help"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":171.69,"endTime":175.56,"body":"lead the troops. Well, at that"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":171.69,"endTime":175.56,"body":"point, to have a white officer"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":175.56,"endTime":178.41,"body":"over black troops. The white"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":175.56,"endTime":178.41,"body":"officers actually were"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":178.41,"endTime":181.59,"body":"volunteers. They volunteered for"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":178.41,"endTime":181.59,"body":"that. And why would Colonel"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":181.59,"endTime":184.56,"body":"Robert Shaw volunteer for that?"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":181.59,"endTime":184.56,"body":"Well, his father was an"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":184.56,"endTime":188.19,"body":"abolition leader, was a leader"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":184.56,"endTime":188.19,"body":"in the abolition movement,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":188.19,"endTime":192.21,"body":"trying to end slavery, trying to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":188.19,"endTime":192.21,"body":"abolish slavery in the United"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":192.21,"endTime":195.9,"body":"States. And so he's grown up..."},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":192.21,"endTime":195.9,"body":"Robert Shaw grew up in this and"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":196.02,"endTime":199.17,"body":"so for him, it was probably"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":196.02,"endTime":199.17,"body":"pretty natural to say, look, we"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":199.17,"endTime":202.11,"body":"believe in equality, we're going"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":199.17,"endTime":202.11,"body":"to do this. Historically, we"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":202.11,"endTime":206.85,"body":"know the Mass. 54th was trained"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":202.11,"endTime":206.85,"body":"so well. The Mass 54th ended up"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":206.85,"endTime":209.85,"body":"in South Carolina, and they were"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":206.85,"endTime":209.85,"body":"a part of the Battle of Fort"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":209.85,"endTime":212.76,"body":"Wagner, which was at the harbor"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":209.85,"endTime":212.76,"body":"of Charleston. And as this"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":212.76,"endTime":216.63,"body":"unfolds over 600 men from the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":212.76,"endTime":216.63,"body":"Mass 54th, there was a very"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":216.63,"endTime":220.29,"body":"narrow stretch of land"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":216.63,"endTime":220.29,"body":"approaching the fort. It was 60"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":220.29,"endTime":223.68,"body":"yards wide, about a half mile"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":220.29,"endTime":223.68,"body":"long. And before they approached"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":223.71,"endTime":226.5,"body":"the fort, union ships came up"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":223.71,"endTime":226.5,"body":"and for eight hours, they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":226.5,"endTime":230.19,"body":"bombard the fort, trying to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":226.5,"endTime":230.19,"body":"soften defences. Finally, the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":230.19,"endTime":232.92,"body":"Mass. 54th is given orders."},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":230.19,"endTime":232.92,"body":"They're going to charge and you"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":232.92,"endTime":235.65,"body":"can imagine right fixing"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":232.92,"endTime":235.65,"body":"bayonets, they're gonna go this"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":235.65,"endTime":238.65,"body":"half mile charge. Well, the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":235.65,"endTime":238.65,"body":"problem was, even though for"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":238.65,"endTime":241.44,"body":"eight hours the Union navy had"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":238.65,"endTime":241.44,"body":"been pounding the fort with"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":241.44,"endTime":245.64,"body":"bombardments, the Confederates"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":241.44,"endTime":245.64,"body":"had gone under these bunkers,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":245.64,"endTime":249.81,"body":"essentially these bomb bunkers"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":245.64,"endTime":249.81,"body":"to protect themselves and so"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":249.84,"endTime":253.89,"body":"they were not at all impacted by"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":249.84,"endTime":253.89,"body":"the bombardments. When the Union"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":253.89,"endTime":256.68,"body":"force attacks, they come out of"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":253.89,"endTime":256.68,"body":"bombardment, and they open fire"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":256.68,"endTime":259.95,"body":"and they just start leveling"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":256.68,"endTime":259.95,"body":"people, wiping people out. The"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":259.95,"endTime":262.68,"body":"guy who's been carrying the flag"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":259.95,"endTime":262.68,"body":"for the Mass. 54th was John"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":262.68,"endTime":267.09,"body":"Wall. When John Wall was shot in"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":262.68,"endTime":267.09,"body":"this barrage, he's going to the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":267.09,"endTime":270.42,"body":"ground. William Carney comes"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":267.09,"endTime":270.42,"body":"over, he rescues the flag, and"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":270.42,"endTime":273.09,"body":"he's going to be the guy holding"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":270.42,"endTime":273.09,"body":"the flag. He ends up getting"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":273.09,"endTime":275.61,"body":"shot in the leg. Finally they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":273.09,"endTime":275.61,"body":"realized this was a bad"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":275.61,"endTime":278.16,"body":"situation. They call the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":275.61,"endTime":278.16,"body":"retreat. On the retreat they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":278.16,"endTime":280.62,"body":"have to go through the water. As"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":278.16,"endTime":280.62,"body":"they're going through the water,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":280.68,"endTime":283.59,"body":"Sergeant Carney gets shot again"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":280.68,"endTime":283.59,"body":"in the chest. On his way out to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":283.59,"endTime":285.96,"body":"gets shot again, in the leg. On"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":283.59,"endTime":285.96,"body":"the retreat, he gets shot again"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":285.96,"endTime":290.28,"body":"in the head! He got shot four"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":285.96,"endTime":290.28,"body":"times. He finally was able to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":290.28,"endTime":294.18,"body":"get back to a place where they"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":290.28,"endTime":294.18,"body":"were safe. And at this point,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":294.18,"endTime":296.55,"body":"people are coming over there"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":294.18,"endTime":296.55,"body":"trying to help him. In fact, at"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":296.55,"endTime":299.34,"body":"one point a white soldier from"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":296.55,"endTime":299.34,"body":"New York came over said, Hey,"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":299.34,"endTime":302.1,"body":"let me help carry the flag."},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":299.34,"endTime":302.1,"body":"Sergeant Carney said no one but"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":302.1,"endTime":304.74,"body":"a member of my regiment, the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":302.1,"endTime":304.74,"body":"54th should carry the colors or"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":304.74,"endTime":308.4,"body":"carry the flags. When he finally"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":304.74,"endTime":308.4,"body":"makes it back, he sits down"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":308.4,"endTime":311.85,"body":"about to pass out from"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":308.4,"endTime":311.85,"body":"exhaustion. He whispers, boys, I"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":311.85,"endTime":315.84,"body":"did my duty, the flag never"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":311.85,"endTime":315.84,"body":"touched the ground. And this was"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":315.87,"endTime":319.47,"body":"something noted right"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":315.87,"endTime":319.47,"body":"significant part of a"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":319.47,"endTime":321.72,"body":"contribution from a black"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":319.47,"endTime":321.72,"body":"American. And it was"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":321.96,"endTime":324.93,"body":"30-something years later that"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":321.96,"endTime":324.93,"body":"Teddy Roosevelt finally was a"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":324.93,"endTime":327.15,"body":"Republican president, who looked"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":324.93,"endTime":327.15,"body":"back and said, there's a lot of"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":327.33,"endTime":329.61,"body":"very courageous heroic"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":327.33,"endTime":329.61,"body":"individuals who were part of the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":329.61,"endTime":331.92,"body":"Civil War that did not get the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":329.61,"endTime":331.92,"body":"full recognition they should"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":331.92,"endTime":336.09,"body":"have gotten. So he then at that"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":331.92,"endTime":336.09,"body":"point, awarded him the Medal of"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":336.09,"endTime":339.81,"body":"Honor for what he had done- his"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":336.09,"endTime":339.81,"body":"bravery on the battlefield. And"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":339.81,"endTime":342.78,"body":"it's worth noting, the reason"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":339.81,"endTime":342.78,"body":"that Teddy Roosevelt was able to"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":342.78,"endTime":345.75,"body":"identify him is because this was"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":342.78,"endTime":345.75,"body":"a known story, some of these"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":345.75,"endTime":349.2,"body":"people that what they had"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":345.75,"endTime":349.2,"body":"contributed to this was known it"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":349.2,"endTime":352.26,"body":"was documented. So Teddy"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":349.2,"endTime":352.26,"body":"Roosevelt just gives them the"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":352.26,"endTime":356.01,"body":"recognition that they really"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":352.26,"endTime":356.01,"body":"should have deserved decades"},{"speaker":"Tim Barton","startTime":356.04,"endTime":358.83,"body":"earlier, arguably. Now"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":614.89,"endTime":619.12,"body":"this is a very important move,"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":619.48,"endTime":624.28,"body":"because one of the things that"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":619.48,"endTime":624.28,"body":"has really corrupted our"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":624.28,"endTime":628.0,"body":"colleges and universities"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":624.28,"endTime":628.0,"body":"intellectually, is the rise of"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":628.0,"endTime":631.9,"body":"the so called studies programs."},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":628.0,"endTime":631.9,"body":"That would be African American"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":631.9,"endTime":636.07,"body":"studies, Latino studies, women's"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":631.9,"endTime":636.07,"body":"studies, gender studies,"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":636.31,"endTime":639.64,"body":"environmental studies, a whole"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":636.31,"endTime":639.64,"body":"bunch of other studies programs."},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":639.94,"endTime":646.54,"body":"And these programs tend to be"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":639.94,"endTime":646.54,"body":"political activism programs"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":646.54,"endTime":650.71,"body":"rather than objective academic"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":646.54,"endTime":650.71,"body":"disciplines. So for the first"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":650.71,"endTime":654.91,"body":"time, the College Board created"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":650.71,"endTime":654.91,"body":"a course, based on African"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":654.91,"endTime":658.9,"body":"American Studies. And sure"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":654.91,"endTime":658.9,"body":"enough, the last quarter of that"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":658.9,"endTime":663.49,"body":"course, was filled with"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":658.9,"endTime":663.49,"body":"political activism. It pushed"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":663.49,"endTime":667.87,"body":"students to back the political"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":663.49,"endTime":667.87,"body":"program of what's called the"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":667.87,"endTime":671.62,"body":"movement for black studies,"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":667.87,"endTime":671.62,"body":"which is sort of a political arm"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":671.65,"endTime":675.04,"body":"of Black Lives Matter. So we've got this very"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":706.9,"endTime":713.14,"body":"extreme final quarter of this"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":713.47,"endTime":716.8,"body":"proposed course. College Board"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":713.47,"endTime":716.8,"body":"asked the DeSantis"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":716.8,"endTime":724.27,"body":"administration to approve it 99%"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":716.8,"endTime":724.27,"body":"of the time, every state rubber"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":724.27,"endTime":727.48,"body":"stamps, any course that the"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":724.27,"endTime":727.48,"body":"College Board puts in front of"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":727.48,"endTime":733.93,"body":"them, but governor DeSantis"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":727.48,"endTime":733.93,"body":"said, No, this violates our CRT"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":733.93,"endTime":737.5,"body":"bill. And more than that, it"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":733.93,"endTime":737.5,"body":"violates what we think is"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":737.5,"endTime":741.04,"body":"legitimate education in the"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":737.5,"endTime":741.04,"body":"state of Florida. And lo and"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":741.04,"endTime":746.8,"body":"behold, the College Board"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":741.04,"endTime":746.8,"body":"knowing that it has a monopoly"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":746.83,"endTime":751.45,"body":"and needs to get states to go"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":746.83,"endTime":751.45,"body":"along, particularly red states,"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":751.48,"endTime":754.57,"body":"and particularly now in the era"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":751.48,"endTime":754.57,"body":"when many red states have these"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":754.57,"endTime":758.23,"body":"CRT laws, the College Board"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":754.57,"endTime":758.23,"body":"knuckled under and made quite a"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":758.23,"endTime":761.44,"body":"few very significant changes to"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":758.23,"endTime":761.44,"body":"this course."},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":761.0,"endTime":764.75,"body":"That yeah, that's"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":761.0,"endTime":764.75,"body":"unusual. Well, first thing was"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":764.75,"endTime":767.33,"body":"unusual, as you were describing"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":764.75,"endTime":767.33,"body":"that. And it just seems like"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":787.31,"endTime":789.41,"body":"that game is changing. It's I"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":787.31,"endTime":789.41,"body":"mean, it's DeSantis has"},{"speaker":"Rick Green","startTime":789.41,"endTime":793.67,"body":"certainly led the way on it. And no"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":816.05,"endTime":821.18,"body":"state at any point ever actually"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":821.18,"endTime":825.56,"body":"turned down the framework. I"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":821.18,"endTime":825.56,"body":"have never seen anything like"},{"speaker":"Stanley Kurtz","startTime":825.77,"endTime":829.04,"body":"what DeSantis is doing.
