We In Lewes
The secret of Lewes Delaware is not its beauty, history, or location, but the people who call it home. Join host Kevin McGuiness as he interviews the men and women who have helped shape the character, culture, and charm of what’s been called the best little town in America. If you’re just curious about the fascinating people who live next door or, more globally, how one small city is using its collective creativity, variety, and courage to build hope for the future, our show is for you. And, we promise, no politicians.
We In Lewes
Dr. Katherine “Kathy” Henn, Professor, Osher Lecturer, Historian, Mahjong Instructor and Always Seeing Opportunities Not Obstacles
Dr. Kathy Henn was a professor at Keane University where she taught courses in philosophy, religion, medical ethics, and global and American History. That alone should be an indication of the breadth of her intellectual curiosity. Since moving to Lewes, she has been a frequent lecturer at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, as well as at Historic Lewes, the recently renamed Lewes Historical Society. Hers is a candid, funny story of courage, determination and not surprisingly triumph, no matter what life tried to throw in her way.
