I’m not sure if Matt Booth has survived 15 years in the cigar industry or if the cigar industry has survived 15 years of Matt Booth. But we’re here now and we have to live with it. Matt Booth is an anomaly in the cigar world because he happened into the industry when ’boutique’ cigar makers were a very new thing. It was him and just a few other small blenders going up against a handful of mammoth titans of Cuban heritage. Now it’s been 15 years, and Room101 has stayed strong.
