Even after Tom Ferguson received his honorary doctorate degree from Life Bible College, he insisted on just being called plain “Pastor Tom”. Most of the original recordings of Pastor Tom’s sermons were not saved, but many copies remain in the form of cassette tapes. Tom Ferguson was a kind, unassuming man who was used mightily by God. It was said at Tom’s memorial that he had intended to write a book — an autobiography describing himself as "plain vanilla" and how God was able to use a plain, ordinary man to guide others to faith in Christ.
