14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
This is Pastor Aaron and welcome to Daily Walk. Man, I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that made Family Life Weekend such a great experience this year. If you joined us, I'm sure you had a wonderful time. There's there's things you talk to about with your family, with your children and teenagers, and I pray that God would continue to bear fruit in your homes as you seek to be a Christ-centered home. Today in our daily walk, I'd remind you of some of the things you heard yesterday from Dr. Jonathan Williams in 2 Timothy 3, starting in verse 14 through 17. That's our daily walk verse today. It says, As for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it. And how from childhood you've been acquainted with the sacred writings which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scriptures breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness. The man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. Pastor Jonathan told us that the scriptures are an anchor for our faith, that we really stand on the truth of what we know to be true about Jesus, his perfect life and death and resurrection, and how that gives us so much hope. But we were also reminded that Timothy heard these things originally from people in his family. He heard them from his grandmother and from his mother. And I wonder who in your family is hearing about Jesus from you? How are you passing on the truths of the scripture to the next generation, to your grandkids, to uh a family member that you may not even be in the same home with, but you call them this week, you're praying for them, you check in on them this week. It's Easter. What a wonderful time uh to check in and someone in our family and love them uh by pointing them to the truth of the word. Listen, it's gonna be a wonderful Easter celebration. I cannot wait to worship with you next week. Uh, bring a friend, tell your neighbor, uh, we're gonna have an awesome time celebrating the resurrection. Church family, I love you. I cannot wait to worship with you again.
