Day 34 — From Favor to the Pit
đź“– Genesis 37

Joseph’s story doesn’t begin in the palace—it begins in pain.

Favored by his father and given dreams from God, Joseph becomes the target of jealousy and betrayal. His own brothers strip him of his robe, throw him into a pit, and sell him into slavery. What looks like the end of the story is actually the beginning of God’s larger plan.

Genesis 37 reminds us of a hard but hopeful truth:
God’s purposes are not stopped by human hatred, injustice, or betrayal.
What others intend for harm, God can use for good.

Sometimes obedience leads us into places we didn’t expect. Sometimes the pit comes before the promise. But God is still writing the story—even when we can’t see how.

👉 If you’re walking through disappointment, rejection, or confusion today, take heart. The pit is not the end. God is still at work.
