Day 74 — Be Strong and Courageous
đź“– Deuteronomy 31
Leadership transitions can be uncertain. Seasons change. People move on. The future can feel unknown.
In Deuteronomy 31, Moses stands before Israel at the end of his life and passes the leadership to Joshua. But before he steps away, he gives a powerful command that echoes through Scripture:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, ESV)
The source of courage is not personal strength.
It is God’s presence.
Joshua was about to lead a nation into unknown territory. Battles were ahead. Challenges were inevitable. Yet the promise remained the same: God would go with them.
That promise still stands today.
When the future feels uncertain…
When responsibility feels overwhelming…
When the path ahead seems intimidating…
Remember this truth: God never sends His people where His presence does not go.
Courage is not the absence of fear.
It is the confidence that God is already ahead of you.
đź’¬ Reflection:
Where do you need to trust God’s presence today?
